  1. Attack from Mars (Bally 1995) g5k 1.22.vpx

NOTE: This is being uploaded for archival purposes...checkout the newer version with newer physics also being uploaded at this same time.

    ========
    Original build 8/7/2018 v1.0
Last update to original physics etc. 10/3/2020 v1.22

Notes from when it was released on Monster Bash Pincab. Hopefully it acknowledges everyone involved.

    //IMPORTANT NOTE////////////////////////////////////////////

NOTE: Please update VPINMAME.DLL for WPC-95 Fast Flips
Latest version at time of release SAMBuild R4550 (contains the DLL needed):
    http://vpuniverse.com/forums/topic/3461-sambuild31-beta-thread/

    //FEATURES/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Surround Sound Feedback (SSF by DJRobX)
Fast Flips (WPC-95 FF developed as part of this production by DJRobX)
Optimised for Cab POV does include Desktop mode setup (some of the poor mans SSR might be off from that angle)
For 4k users I recommend using Post Processed Anti Aliasing - Set to QUALITY SMAA

    //THANKS/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Thank you to the previous AFM authors for their work that gave me the building blocks for this build. Thank you to all those who contributed resources early in the process, took photos and sent me things that helped with the project. For all the kind words and the hype that has built over this release on both MB and VP Junkies. Special shouts to JimmyFingers for passing on his knowledge on GI. To Arrie for photos he took to help with the apron, to virriguy, CK and Peter Docter who supplied a heap of images that also helped. I’ve probably forgotten some people because as Lars has regularly noted this has taken a while. Thanks to flupper for insight on some of the techniques he used on White Water.

Finally the biggest thanks to my collaborators; Tom Tower for his models of the aliens, main saucer and clear ramps and to DJRobX for his development support in the background throughout, implementation of Surround Sound Feedback (SSF) and solving the FastFlips puzzle for yet another machine. Fast Flips doesn’t just happen with a few lines of code, each generation of machine requires a different solution that DJRobX solved for this release and we now have it for all WPC-95 roms.

This has been a labour of love, production started exactly 3 months ago and I've average between 15-20 hours a week on it since then. Then add Tom's and Robs time too.

    Enjoy!

    //FINAL NOTE//////////////////////////////////////////////////////
I don’t think there is anything that will cause compatibility issues but this was developed using a 10.5 beta so if you have problems you may need to update. I’ve used all 11 layers so not sure if that causes issues for older installs with 8 layers. I also expect people with lesser machines could be borderline performance wise. This is a very heavy build as you can see by the download size. It performs very well on a baseline machine in 4k (trust me it's nothing special) so I hope it behaves.

  4. Fathom (Bally 1981) w VR Room

    Version 2.0 by UnclePaulie 2023

This version was done with my Medusa table and other recent Bally tables as a baseline to start, since they were Bally 1981.  Built everything ground up from there.  Used a few prims and images from Goldchicco's prior table, as well as some logic.  I used EBisLit's playfield as a baseline, and Redbone did lots graphics updates to that playfield, as well as the plastics, targets, apron, flippers, and many others.  The VPW team did lots of testing and recommended that I use Circus's VR room as an option, as it has you playing on the ocean floor with fish swimming around you, so his very cool environment is also included, and is the default environment for VR users.  Thanks to Circus for permission!

Included in this Version 2.0 is Hybrid VR/desktop/cabinet modes, new playfield, VPW physics, flipper tricks, dynamic shadows, Fleep sounds, Lampz, 3D inserts, new baked general illumination lighting and AO shadows, sling corrections, drop and stand-up targets, saucer, playfield meshes, various primitives, etc.  Significant time was spent on researching online videos, to ensure accuracy of shots, ball drops, kickouts, and overall playability.  I also created a desktop backglass with a lighting effect, as well as the VR backglass (image from Hauntfreaks) and other VR options. There are also some performance improvements and I added a playfield mesh for the playfield, so there's a realistic bevel in the saucer.

Thank you to EBisLit for the playfield image, and Redbone for upscaling and cleaning up the all the images.  Thank you to Circus for the ocean VR environment.  And thank you to the VPW team for testing, especially redbone, apophis, bountybob, dgrimmreaper, studlygoorite, pinstratsdan, wylte, trytotilt, bietekwiet, astronasty, and hauntfreaks.

There are several options in the script.  Including VR rooms and environments, ball brightness, ocean environment sounds, and LUT lighting options.  The LUT changes are done by holding cntl (or left mangasave) and then while holding, scroll through the options with the right magnasave.  The Dip Switch settings are done in the script and are hardcoded.  IF... you want to change them, there's a setting in the script to manually override that, and then use F6 during gameplay to bring up the Dip Switch setting.

This is a hybrid table done in VPX 10.74 (but will run fine in 10.8), and I have code in here to automatically choose between VR, desktop, and cabinet.   Additional VR options in the script include three VR environments, a VR clock, a topper, posters, and settings for dynamic shadows if you experience a performance hit.

Thanks again to the VPW team for all the testing, Circus for the Ocean VR environment, and Redbone for all the graphics enhancements!

First I would like to thank Loserman76 for the beautiful work... wherever he is playing pinball!

small changes were made only aesthetically

small improvements in the playfield, plastics, lighting, flippers position...  I want to make it clear that the descriptions for the tables I'm sharing are "standard" for all, changes are made when there is a need for some adjustment.

version used, follow the link to the original table

    Adjustments made:
    - lighting and playfield lights
    - adjust targets
    - new POV
    - plastic contrast and transparent edges
    - bumpers color correction
    - new metals
    - screw adjustment
    - new white plastic guides
    - adjustment of target flags

    Build/Coding by Loserman76
    Artwork by GNance
hauntfreaks - newer postit note images, environment file, lighting information, primitives
BorgDog - his tables that helped me to understand more with VPX - and I probably lifted a primitive or 2 from them as well
GNance - score motor tweaks to behave like a real EM, PostIt routines, Options menu
    JPSalas - gameroom backdrop
Pinuck - Gottlieb chimes and score motor routines
Arngrim - DOF coding and information
when game is not in progress, holding down left flipper for about 3-5 seconds will bring up the options menu. left flipper selects item, right flipper changes option
in addition to the "standard" keys (typically "1" to start game and "5" for coin), I've added "3" for coin and "4" for coin and auto-start game to simulate 3 coin slots
    Shadow config settings:
Look for these 2 lines near the beginning of the scripting:
    Const ShadowFlippersOn = true
    Const ShadowBallOn = true
change to false if you want either of the shadows not showing on your tables

  7. Gardiens de la Galaxie Trilogy

Hi everyone, today I'm sharing the Guardians of the Galaxy Trilogy table. First of all, thanks again to JPSLAS.

I'm a marvel fan and as I had seen a pinball Fx version I'm inspired to make one on visual pinball even if there's already the superb daphishbowl table it's not as good but it's still fun.

game rules you have to reform the guardians of the galaxy over the three films on 12 missions and 3 more missions for the superheroes.

    table description.
    playfield
12 soundtracks from the three films
100 catchphrases from the 3 films
    120 ambient sounds
    moving 3d elements

    the pack contains

I've also included shadows for the ball and flippers. If you want to turn them off look for these lines at the beginning of the script:

  9. WWE Wrestlemania LE (Legends of Wrestlemania) (RyGuy417 2023)

This is a mod of a much better table, Gottlieb's Tag Team by @roccodimarco (thank you for the permission to release), but updated with the artwork and other visuals from Stern's far inferior WWE Wrestlemania LE table (don't believe me? Find a table nearby and give it a go--it's by far one of their worse tables).

Resources are surprising light, but cobbled together what I could. I would eventually like to update the audio in the table to add some classic WWE/WWF callouts, music, etc. Hoping someone else on here has the energy and skill to get that done.

Note: V1.1 includes a basic pup pack to play music. Use magna to change tracks.

Setup is like all of my tables - 3 & 5 insert coins. 4 is coin and auto-starts the game.
Since this one is a center shooter type table, the right flipper is used to launch the ball.
Uses VPX 10.5 - I'm not a fan of using betas for table releases

    Description of Loserman76:

    Gottlieb's Flip A Card (1970)
    Table primary build/scripted by Loserman!
Thanks to the following for their contributions (whether they know it or not!)
If I have missed anyone, let me know as this table would not exist without the
    folks in the community.

Hauntfreaks - new images for table and plastics
Grizz - image cuts/pastes from some of his images used on my redraw
JPSalas - gameroom backdrop and methods gleaned from his fantastic tables
    EalaDubhSidhe - table object templates
    Black - HS save/load routines
Itchigo - table templates which gave me ideas on how to accomplish what I wanted in this table
CONRAM - various code ideas learned by tracing through code on his tables
akiles50000 - for that totally awesome tutorial on table building. So much stuff I now understand because of the work put into this tutorial
    Inkochnito - scorecards/instruction cards
Pinuck - Gottlieb chimes and score motor routines
Herweh - directB2S designer and tools
JimmyFingers - rolling ball and other objects' sound routines
GNance - update to spinner code to replicate slowing down

The options menu is now available by holding down the left flipper key for about 2 seconds when a game is not in progress. Once opened, left flipper moves between the different menu items and the right flipper goes through that item's available choices.

For this table, I am using my new method for enabling/disabling the dB2S backglass. By default the backglass is disabled. The easy way to enable it is this method:
1.Launch table and then exit. It will auto-create a file in the USER folder of VPinball named "LMEMTables.txt"
2.Open this file in notepad and change the "0" to a "1" and save.
3.Next time you launch, the backglass will launch.

Or for the die hards out there, create a text file in the USER folder named LMEMTables.txt and put a "1" (no quotes) on the first line and save it.

I especially want to thank @pedroperes02 for all his amazing skills and help he showed and did for me without question. He didn't have to do anything and that's why I have mad respect for him and this community and people's willingness to help everyone. Definitely a stand up guy.

The download tool.zip comes with a couple wheel images options. The puppack comes with a bunch screen options to suit your cabinet needs, just choose your bat file.

  16. Topaz (Inder 1979)

Version 1.0 by Roosta, based on the Inder table from 1979.

Please take this for what it is, a first learning project and a nostalgia trip to attempt to replicate the first pinball table that I remember playing from my school days, what feels like a hundred years ago.
For a long time I’ve been enjoying the amazing work from the community, while at the same time getting more and more curious about the process of creating these tables. So I decided to finally give it a shot.

I began by experimenting with Skateboard (JPSalas version) from the same manufacturer as Topaz (Inder). Then I downloaded the amazing Example Table by the VPW Team, and with the help of some of the fantastic video tutorials by Bord and Apophis from the VPWorkshop channel and the updated version of Canasta86 by Nestorgian, I started modifying my table with the new amazing physics and sounds.
An old flyer from IPDB and a user manual were the only resources that I was able to find for this table. Maybe that together with my lack of skill can explain the atrocious quality of plastics and images.
I want to thank JPSalas and Nestorgian for bringing back these old Spanish pinball tables (petacos) and, of course, Bord, Apophis and the whole VPW Team for their incredible work and for taking the extra time to provide resources (example tables, tutorial videos, etc.) for all of us in this incredible community.

NOTES: I included a nvram file that should be copied into the Visual Pinball\VPinMame\nvram folder. DIP Switch settings are available via F6 during gameplay. I also included a LUT selector with ten levels of darkness that can be selected using the magnasave keys. VPX10.7 should work fine, but it was mostly tested on VPX 10.8 Beta 5 (1347).

in addition to the "standard" keys (typically "1" to start game and "5" for coin), I've added "3" as another coin input and "4" for coin and auto-start game (like I recall the dime slots generally were) to simulate 3 coin slots
when game is not in progress, holding down left flipper for about 3-5 seconds will bring up the options menu. left flipper selects item, right flipper changes option.
I've also included shadows for the ball and flippers. If you want to turn them off look for these lines at the beginning of the script:
    Const ShadowFlippersOn = true
    Const ShadowBallOn = true
change to false if you want either of the shadows not showing on your tables

  21. Kim Wilde (SuperEd) v3.26 (Original)

This was the first table I ever created in VPX (before Pink FLoyd and SpaceRamp)

Its just a re-upload to VPU, so no VPW code/enhancements included (yet?)

This table release on VPU has NO audio tracks in it (CopyRights).
If you want to have nice music (table was created that way), just download the music tracks/loops at this location:

    https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1XUbbco5N7M4Sw2YjodgyTsQfHw-yN3eL?usp=sharing

Just unzip the contents and put it in the music folder of VPX.

    Enjoy!

    flippers adjustment
exchange of targets for the correct ones and adjustments

    Description of Loserman76:

Gottlieb's Super Soccer. Thanks to Tamoore allowing me to use his resources, I created the VPX version of this table. Carlos Guizzo provided some really nice backglass images which were used in the creation of the B2S for this table. Also includes a wheel image - feel free to make a better one.

NOTE: DOF Users - the table will probably try to use Tamoore's table config for DOF. Try using the configuration from 300 or Top Score and you should see better results. Sorry, I'm still new to actually using DOF so your results may vary.

    - new upper guide plastics
    - new side ramp metals
    - adjustment of the position of the targets

    Bally's Firecracker (1971)
          Table primary build/scripted by Loserman!
          Playfield/Plastics by hauntfreaks

For this table, I am using my new method for enabling/disabling the dB2S backglass. By default the backglass is disabled. The easy way to enable it is this method:
1.Launch table and then exit. It will auto-create a file in the USER folder of VPinball named "LMEMTables.txt"
2.Open this file in notepad and change the "0" to a "1" and save.
3.Next time you launch, the backglass will launch.
Or for the die hards out there, create a text file in the USER folder named LMEMTables.txt and put a "1" (no quotes) on the first line and save it.

Operator menu options are as follows:
    "[" - open/close the operator menu
    "6" - changes balls per game (3/5)
"7" - change replay settings - but for now I only have 1 set of replay settings so you can't change these.
On the full screen version, pay attention to the apron to tell whether it is set for 3 or 5 ball play.
