Due to system limitations searching with words of 3 or less characters will not return results. For instance; Doctor Who.  This will not return results as the system is trying to search for both Doctor AND Who in which Who will not be found as it's a 3 character word.  To find Doctor Who; you'd search for either Doctor or "Doctor Who".

    Search Tips:
For specific searches; enclose your search with quotes. Example: "Doctor Who" or "Addams Family".

Ok, so here’s the back story. I stumbled upon a picture of a Williams’ “Mini Golf” table and was intrigued. (I forget exactly how/why I saw it now. I might’ve been browsing IPDB for sports-themed pinball tables and then searching VPU/VPF to see if cool ones I didn’t have were already in VPX). It seemed like a simple enough table, so I had a go at recreating it. Well, since I started, I’ve gotten too busy to work on it. And I was always going to have trouble tracking down a decent 3D model for the golfer (I barely had enough Blender skills to make the flagpoles). So, it was always either going to be a released WIP or a purely personal project. I decided to share it with the hope that someone might be able to take it over the finish line. Update: With JPO’s help, there is now a working backglass (separate download – it should be linked in the sidebar). Still hoping someone will eventually make a 3D model of the golfer. But I still think it’s a pretty fun table regardless. The table is still open for modifications. I do still ask though, that any released changes are significant. I redrew the playfield, made the very basic flag primitives, and coded the game’s logic, so I expect someone to make a lot of improvements before releasing it as a new version. If you have small code improvements (or can make the 3D model of the golfer) - feel free to message me. I’m always happy to update one of my tables with help from others. What’s left to do: - Needs a golfer. There’s currently an invisible primitive in its place. The golfer should also pivot at the waist to actually strike the ball, but I obviously didn’t get that far - There might be other, smaller details worth improving. For instance, the lighting is pretty basic, but it’s also good enough for me. ~~~ Some notes about controls and such: 5 – Insert Credit 1 – Start Game Left Flipper – Hold down to rotate shooter left Right Flipper – Hold down to rotate shooter right Left Magna Save – Hard tee off Right Magna Save – Soft tee off Plunger – Whatever tee off was done last (I originally had the magna select the type and plunger shoot, but I’ve now decided that using the magna saves to shoot is a better idea) *There’s a line in the script near the top for the 2 player modes (currently line 39): “TwoPlayersAlternate = True” lets the players alternate holes (Player 1 shoots Hole 1, Player 2 shoots Hole 1, Player 1 shoots Hole 2, etc.) “TwoPlayersAlternate = False” has Player 1 play all 9 holes (or shoot 27 balls) before Player 2 does the same. The score card reads like either is possible, so I made sure both were possible in the code. I have no idea if both modes are actually possible on the real machine or not. Included in the download: - The table (duh) - I’ve also included reference images of the golfer I’ve collected, in case that inspired someone to create the model. Also, important to note that he rotates at the hips to hit the ball

  4. View File Mini Golf (Williams 1964) WIP Ok, so here’s the back story. Basically, I’ve managed to make a decently functional desktop version. I even started prepping a so/so image to become the backglass, but I don’t have access to a cab right now anyway, so testing a backglass was going to be too much of a bother. However, it feels like a waste to just shelf this, so maybe there’s someone who wants to take it over the finish line. I’m opening this up for anybody to tinker on and re-release, but I still expect you to credit me for getting the ball rolling (I did redraw the playfield, make a few simple primitives, and code the gameplay after all). I’d also appreciate a message telling me you posted it to the site in case I miss it because I stop logging in for a while, but that part is totally optional. And please, obviously don’t just tweak the POV or the physics or something small and then release this as your own. I’m really hoping that someone can create a decent backglass and make a golfer that looks like the real one before uploading a new version. (Or maybe you prefer to use the remix tool, but the same point still stands). Oh, and this probably goes without saying, but the table comes as-is. If you enjoy playing it in its current form, that’s great. But I do hope someone out there can turn this thing into a polished VPX table to share. ~~~ What’s left to do: - Needs a golfer. There’s currently an invisible primitive in its place. The golfer should also pivot at the waist to actually strike the ball, but I obviously didn’t get that far - Desktop version needs some more things to actually light up on the backglass background - Needs a backglass for cabinet mode - There might be more I’m forgetting to mention Some notes about controls and such: 5 – Insert Credit 1 – Start Game Left Flipper – Hold down to rotate shooter left Right Flipper – Hold down to rotate shooter right Left Magna Save – Hard tee off Right Magna Save – Soft tee off Plunger – Whatever tee off was done last (I originally had the magna select the type and plunger shoot, but I’ve now decided that using the magna saves to shoot is a better idea) *There’s a line in the script near the top for multiplayer. It lets you choose if you want to alternate holes (player 1 tries to do hole 1, player 2 tries to do hole 2, etc.) OR if both players play all 9 holes, one after the other. I forget why I added this. Either it’s a real choice on the machine or I just wasn’t sure which way the game handled it. Included in the download: - The table (duh) which, as previously stated, is a mostly finished desktop version - I’ll also include the backglass images I planned to use. You can probably do better, but it’s better than nothing - I’ll also include images I’ve found of the golfer in case that helps any potential 3D modeler Submitter CactusDude Submitted 06/20/2022 Category Electro Mechanical (EM) Recreations Link to B2S

This is a re-upload that was originally on Vpinball.com before it went down for good. The late, great Loserman76 really helped me a lot with this table - so out of respect for his passing - I am uploading it here so more can enjoy it. - - - - - - - - - - - Grand Prix (Williams 1976) EM A few months back, forum member aka "Shark's Mouth" found a real Grand Prix in the back of the building he was working at. He managed to take about 150 hi-resolution photos of the entire playfield, plastics and backglass (I mean just about every inch) - and he posted those photos on this site, hoping someday someone could use them to make a clean new VPX table from them. I stitched them all together and embarked on a complete redraw of the playfield, plastics and backglass - that took a couple weeks on and off. Loserman76 (being the EM guru that he is) built a brand new table using the new playfield as a guide - that looked and played great. Because the playfield and plastics were a new redraw - no matter what lighting approach I took within VPX - the lighting always looked FLAT and not realistic. Enter Bord ... Bord imported everything into Blender and "enhanced" all the lighting and rendered out a beautiful and ultra realistic output. I am a big fan of 60s and 70s EM tables and I wanted to do it justice since we started with such great resources. This final version is a example of great collaboration between all involved. Included with this download is the new VPX version of Grand Prix, new Backglass, and new wheel image. Also included is an mp3 file named: Grand Prix (Williams 1976) EM - F1 Race Ambience.mp3. This is a subtle sound effect track that you can load into your front end system (PinballX) that will play before the table is loaded. At the top of the table script you can choose if you want the ball / flipper shadows ON or OFF. I suggest you turn them OFF if you a using a slower system. Also built into the table is the JP Salas LUT selector. Hold down the LEFT MAGNASAVE and then press the RIGHT MAGNASAVE to cycle through the 9 different LUT brightnesses. Hold down LEFT FLIPPER for 3 - 4 seconds BEFORE starting a game to access the build in Game Menu to change the game options. - Enjoy. CREDITS: - - - - - - - - Loserman76 - Complete Table build + Scripting HiRez00 - Playfield, Plastics, and B2S ReDraw Bord - Blender Rendering and other Enhancements Shark's Mouth - All real table reference photos Schreibi34 - Apron and Pop Bumper Mesh MLager8 - Apron ReDraw JP Salas - LUT Selector Enhancement - - - - - - - - - - - - - - This project took considerable time and I wanted to share it with everyone ... so "thanks" or comments in the support topic would be greatly appreciated. Pharaoh (Williams 1981) 16x9 Alternate Animating Backglass+Wheels I never really liked the original backglass for Pharaoh (Willliams 1981) VPX - so I decided to make my own version. BE SURE TO ENABLE FANTASY MOD WITH THIS BACKGLASS: To do this, open the backglass with the table, right click on the backglass and towards the top of the menu - select Fantasy Mod - then save the backglass. The current VPX table out there is a little outdated and needs a tune up and graphics update - HINT HINT .... would love to see someone who has the time and skills do that for this really fun play table. Also included are 500px and 1000px wheels for both this new designs and the original graphic backglass. - - - - - - - - - - Don't be a leech and just download the files ... leave a comment or at least hit the LIKE button if you download it and like it!
