"The Meanest, Greenest Game on the Street"

The Godzilla pinball machine was released in August 1998 by SEGA. The game is based on the Godzilla movie released earlier that year by TriStar Pictures.  Godzilla was the last pinball machine manufactured by SEGA before shutting down their pinball operations.

This virtual project started out with incredibly detailed specifications of the physical and visual dimensions of the SEGA machine from EBisLit.  Of course, who can turn those specifications into gold?  Mr. Sixtoe himself, the grandmaster of blueprints, schematics and more.

Next some initial scripting / foundation objects were added by TastyWasps and Apophis which leads into the STUNNING blender toolkit 3D renders from Tomate which highlights the massive Godzilla sculpt in this table that may be one of the largest sculpts ever made in pinball history.

The tail end of the project (no pun intended) consists of laborious detail into each aspect of the machine to play as close to the real thing as possible with help from EBisLit's experience and other play testers' input.

The collaboration of so many passionate authors, creators, scripters, artists, testers, etc. have truly made this project come to life in the digital medium.

Bravo to VPW! The light inserts and lighting on this table is like a 13 out of 10! WOW! I have said it before, and stand by my statement..the Sega Godzilla Table is one of the worst pinball machines ever made (and a perfect match for the worst Godzilla movie ever made), but the VPW team is so talented that they have really fashioned a beautiful work of art here, that outshines the original real life table! Wow!

What else can you say about a VPW table without having to keep repeating yourself?
This table is again a milestone in VPX.
Great gameplay, almost 100% reproduction of the real table, the 3D elements are fantastic and when you look at the Godzilla head up close in VR you know you wouldn't want to meet such a monster in real life. 😅
So an absolute awesome 5 star table.
A big thanks for this monster. 👍

The VPW team outdid themselves and are yet again pushing the hobby forward with the gorgeous graphics and realistic-playing physics (notice the new cradled-ball interaction during multiball) on this table.

Godzilla looks stunning in VR. Godzilla is really there!! Probably even more alive than in the real table, it looks THAT good.

This table looks and plays fantastic, the rumble motor/shaker that's simulated in the SSF works really well too. Thank you to all involved!

Amazing work done here! The rules on this game dont do very much for me but the table looks and feels amazing - and I do have a lot of fun with that 4-ball multiball.

Bravo to the team - this is a stunning render and Im sure it will get plenty of plays on my machine. Also big ups to TastyWasps for totally diving into VPX head-first! You guys are all credits to humanity.

This has certainly come a long way since the April fools joke! Visually stunning from top to bottom and it plays as good as it looks. Nice integration of the dof shaker as it really adds to the immersion.

It's not very often I call my woman downstairs and make her put on my VR headset, there wasn't anyone else around to show this to :) What a beauty and it plays fantastic (the table ;) ) , I know I sound like a broken record lately....but WOW. Big thanks to everyone involved.

Thanks VPinWorkshop!

Your tables look the best in VR and 3D Anaglyph on my cabinet!

Since I have no voice can you please get the team at VPX to fix the 3D Anaglyph settings in 10.8 (I am on Beta 5 but the issue exist in all versions).

The settings are off real bad and many others have noticed so its just not me.
You can tell by looking at any letters at the front of any table and see the ghosting that does not appear on 10.74.

Also the depth is not as good probably because of the above.

Its got to be an easy fix for them to bring over the 10.74 settings to 10.8 for 3D Anaglyph.

I am using the Green/Magenta Dubois setting (near the bottom).

Us cabinet owners are really feeling left in the dark as 10.8 has not been kind to us so far but I am forced to use it to play the latest tables.

TIA

Whomever doesn't have VR you need to get VR. This table is amazing. 2d was pretty good but VR doesn't compare. Thanks again VPW for another fantastic table.
