Greetings Program!

Tron Legacy LE Tune-Up by members of VPin Workshop . This one was supposed to, again, be just a fast physics update;

"Yeah, we'll just do a quick 'add nfozzy physics to this' and get it out the door..."

*a month later after everyone's tweaked every part of the table*

"doh..."

Turns out everyone is very fond of the table and wanted to join in, it might well get updated again in the future... especially if we can find a proper playfield scan (especially of the LE!)

Loads of new stuff including new physics, ramps, acrylic protectors, flashers, lighting, inserts, sound and shadows,

Enjoy!

-          nFozzy physics: Astro, Fluffhead35, iaakki, Sixtoe

you guys are nothing short of amazing ALWAYS,  I'm a full time pinball repair and restoration guy in south seattle area mainly Waterland Arcade anyway im responsible for an ever expanding lineup of currently like 40 games between the arcade and routed games, and i play pinball ALOT, I guess my point is that i without a doubt know how the shots in these games should feel, i know how the ball should move etc. etc. and i gotta give it to you guys, since the release of vpx the gameplay has gotten better and better and better and the standard that you guys have set at this point is incredible I look forward to getting to play digital pinball when i leave the arcade after playing and working onb machines all day....i may get some script errors and have issues here and there BUT THESE GAMES DONT BREAK! i actually get to play without having to always be doing something and the physics have gotten good enough that it doesnt eff up my timing to play VP anymore like it used to in the 991 pm5 days....now days when people have something negative to say about digital pinball (which i hear alot especially at tournaments amongst high level players) i rebuttle them with "Do you want to try Batman 66' or GOTG on my laptop?  Or maybe see what this AFM looks like with an alternative color rom that isnt what you see in the common colordmd upgrade?  Within minutes all that "video pinball isnt pinball shit" usually turns into a mildly embarassed excitement when they realize how far its come and they are still thinking pinball arcade on their galaxy s5 or something....anyway thank you guys for all you do your the bees knees and its amazing what ya'll do for the love it. Much Respect!!

P.S. Devs now their is already a VR version of vpx is it possible to hack copy paste some of that code to do something like BAM? would be awesome to have head tracking on the cabinet and not just in VR,  VR is amazing for vpx but alot its still young and alot of the table dimensions look really wrong compared to playing the real games,  the shots in alot of cases feel right but look wrong if that makes any sense at all,  also i dunno if its limitations of the quest 2 or OpenGL but the direct x VP looks a shit ton better than the openGL vr version....anyway sorry for posting this here i never know where to post this kind of stuff, im a social piece of asparagus.

I took a break from the VPIN world last year and just recently got back into it. You guys are absolutely killing it! I've swapped out all of my old tables with your versions and it's never even a hesitation at this point. If I see your version released, I am confident it will blow my old one out of the water. Thanks for all you've been doing and keep knocking them out of the park.

The 1.0 release was really good and I played it a lot.

This 1.1 release seems to be for people that want a top tier challenge to the game. I love some of the tweaks (especially the scoop being a little easier to hit) and the feel of the flippers.

The challenge for me is that the flippers feel under powered in this 1.1 release. When I play Tron, I expect the ball to rocket around the orbits and the ramps and the whole thing to be as fast as anything.

These weaker flippers require a level of accuracy on the ramp and orbits that raise the difficulty level to the point where it stops being fun for me. I'm sure there are better players out there who will appreciate this difficulty. I know real machines can be set up like this as well but I don't have fun playing on those either.

Would love to have a blend of the 1.0 and 1.1 release where some of the playfield tweaks are kept but we have more of the speed that I love so much from the 1.0 release.

For the record, I love that you do all of this work and share it with us. I understand how much effort goes into making these games and appreciate the results being shared with us. I do my best to be constructive with my feedback and explain what I would like to have more fun. I'm sure there are amazing players out there who will love this 1.1 release and the added challenge it brings to the community.

Thank you again for the hard work. I look forward to future releases.

Awesome work.

Thank you so much!

The table looks great, one of best i play nad probably one of most complicated.

Only thing bad thing for me that i have huge Fps drop  to 160 Fps when some effect occur, than somehow Fps jump over Fps limit (200) and ball start to shake.

I9 11900k, RTX3080.  240 HZ (i play at 200 HZ)

Other tables are silky smooth.

Btw even with this small glitch is full playable.

WOW.....I'm a massive fan of this brand and couldn't be happier to add a third Tron to my Vpin! This one likely will get all the attention....Terry's PUP and this table = AMAZING!!!! Thank you all for your time and effort. Truly appreciated!

Great update on a fantastic table.   it plays better and sounds better too.  The only negative I see personally is with the clu and light bike inserts.  The clu inserts are  hard to tell if they are on.  The light bike inserts are insanely bright.

Thanks to all the VPW team !

Great work once again.

I hope you'll work in the future on tables like "Lights...camera...action", "Police Force", or "Big hurt"...

Thank you so much! The table looks great and feels very realistic (read:harder 😀).

I would suggest to keep both this version as the G5k version on the cabinet.  The first for realism, the latter for an arcade (fast)  feel.
