  1. Crazy Cats Demo Derby

Hey all...After months of work and testing, I am ready to go ahead and release Crazy Cats to the VP community.

Crazy Cats is my second table for VPX. This table is dedicated to longtime friends who have effectively become family to me who are or have been part of the Crazy Cats demolition derby team out of the town of Monroe, WI. These guys have been running derbies for over 30 years spanning two generations.

The theme is running in a demolition derby, something I personally haven't seen much of in either real or virtual pinball. The idea in Crazy Cats is to acquire, build, and run a derby car to run in the next derby. Completing these heavily involves shooting the blue Garage targets on the mid-right portion of the table to open up the Garage itself. Then shoot the ball into the Garage to progress. These are indicated by the Stage lights on the playfield. Progression through Heats are indicated by the Heat lights on the playfield.
Stage 1: Acquire your derby car by opening up and shooting the Garage for 50,000 points and adding 50,000 to the Heat Jackpot.
Stage 2: Build and set up your derby car by shooting the garage and starting a 2-ball multiball. Shoot lit shots for jackpots. Complete a certain number of ramp shots and spinners for additional awards.
Stage 3: Run your next derby heat by locking three balls to start a 3-ball multiball where you can actually score the running Heat Jackpot on the jackpot display.

Hopefully I was able to convert this basic demo-derby idea into a fun-to-play pinball.

Crazy Cats has a B2S backglass which is included with the table zip. If you are running B2S, you should have your ScreenRes setting in the same folder as the table and B2S backglass. I've also included my own ScreenRes setings in the zip file but you may need to set it up based on your specific setup. The editor has different backdrops to select whether one is using DT only without B2S or if one is using B2S whether they are using DT or FS. Be sure to check Disable B2S in Preferences/Configure,Keys,Nudge,and DOF in VP if you don't want to run B2S.

This table is not to be sold by anyone to anyone. The table is meant to be available as a FREE DOWNLOAD to be enjoyed by all. No profit of any kind is being made by the author of this table. If you bought this table either by ebay, or some other means, YOU WERE RIPPED OFF!!!

While modifications for personal use are okay. please reach out to me if you'd like to mod this table for public release.AT the very least I'll be curious as to what is intended, as it may be something that had never occurred to me.
I'll likely be good with mods for VR rooms, specific cabinet setups, and DOF mods as I know next to nothing about how to set any of that stuff up, and I have no DOF or VR hardware to test. The table has some basic DOF commands
in the script for some (likely not all) of the mechanical bits.

General Instructions. Full rules are in the table zip or can be found in Table Info.

-Shoot Garage Door Targets to Open Garage for Setup Stages and Heats.
-Soft-Plunge Right Entry for Skill Shot when lit.
    -T-E-A-M Advances Bonus Multiplier.
    -D-E-M-O Lights Left Outlane Kickback.
-Shoot Ramp and Orbits to advance CRAZYCATS.Complete CRAZYCATS for awards.
-Complete 2 Setup Stages and Open Garage to light locks for Heat Multiball.
-Complete 2 Heat Multiballs and Open Garage at Stage 3 to light Feature Heat Multiball.
-Shoot Ramp during Heat and Feature Heat Multiballs for Jackpots.
-Score 2 Jackpots in Feature Heat to light Trophy.
-Clear 6-8 Drop Targets and complete 6-8 Spot Targets to light lock for Salvage Multiball.
-Clear 1-8-7 Drop Targets and complete 1-8-7 Spot Targets to light lock for Boogie Multiball.
-Shoot lit shots during Salvage and Boogie Multiballs for Jackpots.

Hope you all enjoy it. If you like this table, leaving a positive review would be most appreciated and will encourage me to make more tables.

  3. Wild Life (Gottlieb 1972)_Teisen_MOD

First I would like to thank Loserman76 for the beautiful work... wherever he is playing pinball!

small changes were made only aesthetically, to my liking... with the intention of leaving the real table as close as possible

small improvements in the playfield, plastics, lighting, flippers position...  I want to make it clear that the descriptions for the tables I'm sharing are "standard" for all, changes are made when there is a need for some adjustment.

    Adjustments made:
    - lighting
    - upper guide plastics
    - metals/side ramps
    - position of upper plastic screws
    - exchange of targets for the correct ones (IPD.org)
    - spinner adjustment - now the hunter is in the correct position

version used, follow the link to the original table   https://vpuniverse.c...-gottlieb-1972/

    Description of Loserman76:

    VPX conversion
    Artwork done by GNance
    Original Art by Popotte
    Backglass by Wildman
others to thank: JPSalas, Pinuck, hauntfreaks, Borgdog, Arngrim
in addition to the "standard" keys (typically "1" to start game and "5" for coin), I've added "3" as another coin input and "4" for coin and auto-start game (like I recall the dime slots generally were) to simulate 3 coin slots
when game is not in progress, holding down left flipper for about 3-5 seconds will bring up the options menu. left flipper selects item, right flipper changes option.
I've also included shadows for the ball and flippers. If you want to turn them off look for these lines at the beginning of the script:
    Const ShadowFlippersOn = true
    Const ShadowBallOn = true
change to false if you want either of the shadows not showing on your tables

    Description of Loserman76:

    Gottlieb's Fast Draw (1975)
            Table build/scripted by Loserman!
Thanks to the following for their contributions (whether they know it or not!)
If I have missed anyone, let me know as this table would not exist without the
    folks in the community.
Images used for this table were culled from IPDB, Pinside, and various other websites only

JPSalas - gameroom backdrop and methods gleaned from his fantastic tables
      EalaDubhSidhe - table object templates
      Black - HS save/load routines
Itchigo - table templates which gave me ideas on how to accomplish what I wanted in this table
CONRAM - various code ideas learned by tracing through code on his tables
akiles50000 - for that totally awesome tutorial on table building. So much stuff I now understand because of the work put into this tutorial
      Inkochnito - scorecards/instruction cards
Pinuck - Gottlieb chimes and score motor routines
Herweh - directB2S designer and tools
JimmyFingers - rolling ball and other objects' sound routines
Bodydump - for his assistance on various tables that got me using primitives and his lights
UncleWilly - for his primitive templates

Of course, the team behind Visual Pinball - without them, there wouldn't be much choice for playing pinball on a PC
I also must include Black and his Future Pinball as I used tables on that platform to help in building my VP tables.
You can enable dB2S by downloading my backglass file and modifying the script line that reads "B2SOn=false" to "B2SOn=True" (without the quotes of course)
To adjust Balls Per Game and Replay settings, hit '[' then '6' toggles 3 or 5 balls, and 7 moves through the replay settings (pay attention to the insert cards). When you have set them the way you like, hit '[' to exit settings.

NOTE: This table (like all of my recent releases) requires VP9.9x as it contains primitives

Volkan Steel & Metal is a unique game with toggled scoring where some strategically placed targets change scoring to Player 2 (Robert Baron), and others change it back to Player 1 (Capt. Tweed). In a one player game, your goal is retain as much of the "money" as possible. Once a score is awarded, it is retained by the player.

Hold Left MagnaSave button to display game info, Right MagnaSave to flip pages

The backstory will help understand the rules and concept:
Volkan Steel & Metal is an original game design based on a late 1800s Steampunk metal factory founded by Capt. Augustus Tweed in the town of Irongate. The Company found massive success with Tweed's discovery that Strontium, when used in alloys, makes metals stronger and lighter. This proved valuable in the development of Steampunk airships, devices and prosthetics. Competitors were unsuccessful in re-creating Tweed's formulas, so their tactics turned ruthless. Tweed's sister, Abigail, naively met and married Mr. Robert Baron while in college, and convinced her brother to hire Baron at Volkan to improve their standing in the community. But Tweed suspects Baron is trying to take control of the Company, or is a spy trying to steal the formulas. Robert and Abigail think Tweed is paranoid.

Your goal is to complete orders for metals and alloys while retaining as much of the Volkan’s profits. To complete an order, you will need Coal (saucer) to stoke the Blast Furnace (upper left VUK) and raise the temperature. You will also need a certain amount of Steam and Electricity for each order to run the factory. And, of course, the necessary ores needed for each order: Iron, Copper, Tin, and Zinc bumpers & Carbon standup. Plus, Volkan’s secret element: Strontium drop targerts. Once everything is collected for each order, the Blast Furnace door opens in the upper center. A successful shot completes the order.

    TOGGLED SCORING
    ONE PLAYER GAME
Build your fortune by running Volkan Steel  & Metal. Your money is collected in Tweed’s bank account. But your scheming brother-in-law, Robert Baron, will STEAL your money and MEDDLE in your affairs if you’re not careful. Two Baron Blue standups switch scoring from Tweed's Player 1 score to Baron's Player 2 score.  Two Tweed Green targets switch scoring from Baron’s score back to Tweed’s  score. Play as Baron! Use flippers to choose if you want to play as Tweed or Baron before launching Ball 1.
    TWO PLAYER GAME
Must be selected before first ball is launched. In a two player game where Tweed is Player 1 and Baron is Player 2, both players can add to their own score and switch scoring to their opponent with the Blue and Green targets. So keep an eye on the center console (apron) light, playfield lights or backbox to see who has control. Player with the most money at the end of the game takes control of Volkan.

I tried to recreate the table after Goldchicco authorized me to play with his conversion, the first attempt was the mod with a different art, now I bring you this one where the existing playfield was repositioned and reworked in a more correct way according to the real one
It's what I could do with the few images I got of plastics and playfield, recreated trying to match the originals

The playfield is a redraw 100% by me. So if it sucks, you know why - haha.
Plastics all came from images out on the internet (pinball owners and pinside).

This release wouldn't be possible without the following:

    user42 for the artwork
Wildman for the excellent backglass image
    Albert for primitive wheel

Like all of my releases, hold down the left flipper for 3 seconds when not playing a game to set the options.

Popotte who provided the excellent redraws and permission for me to use his work from his FP release
Thalamus who provided the primitive I needed to finally be able to release this table (I've been sitting on it for a year in my "convert to VPX backlog")

  21. Django Unchained Balutito MOD

For this tribute table to Tarantino's Film: Django UNchained, I used the magnificent Cactus Canyon table by TomTower and Ninuzzu as a base.
Unfortunately I did not find the authors on the forums, I hope they are doing well and that they will not blame me for having used their table.
    Thanks to them

Thank you for taking the time to appreciate the enormous work done by Dtatane to modify and colorize the DMD, this  version is still under development, thanks to Dtatane for this work.

Thanks to Daeron61 for the magnificent 3D models offered on this table.

IMPORTANT You need PROC like for Cactus Canyon

    Instructions:
    Step 1:
Copy / paste the ROM without unzipping it into your vpinmame rom folder.

    Step2:
To use this ROM you must create an alias of the Cactus Canyon cc_13 ROM.
You just need to add the following line, to the VPMAlias.txt file
    cc_13D, cc_13
You will find the VPMAlias.txt file in the VPinMAME folder:
    😄 \ Visual Pinball \ VPinMAME
(If it does not exist, it is a .txt file)

    Step 3:
to get the DMD corresponding to Django Unchained table
you need to copy paste, the cc_13D folder provided in the altcolor DMD folder, into your altcolor folder.
You will find the altcolor file in your VPinMAME folder:
    C:\Visual Pinball\VPinMAME
(If it doesn't exist create it)

    Step 4:
Copy/ Paste Music mp3 in your music folder

    Good Game
    🍺 Balutito 🍺

  22. Medusa (Bally 1981) w VR Room

    Version 2.0 by UnclePaulie 2023

This version was done with UnclePaulie's Elektra as a baseline to start, since both were Bally 1981.  I built everything ground up from there.  Used a few prims and images from JP's prior table, as well as some logic.  Also used EBisLit's playfield.

Included in this Version 2.0 is Hybrid VR/desktop/cabinet modes, a new playfield from EBisLit, VPW physics, flipper tricks, dynamic shadows, Fleep sounds, Lampz, 3D inserts, new baked general illumination lighting and AO shadows, sling corrections, drop and stand-up targets, saucer, playfield meshes, various primitives, etc.  Significant time was spent on researching online videos, to ensure accuracy of shots, ball drops, kickouts, and overall playability.  I also created a desktop backglass with a cool lighting effect, as well as the VR backglass and other VR options. There are also some performance improvements, and I added a playfield mesh for the playfield, so there's a realistic bevel in the saucer.

Thank you to EBisLit for the playfield image, and Redbone for upscaling and cleaning up the plastics image. Thanks to iaakki for teaching me how to bake the GI and AO shadows.  Thank you to JPSalas for some of the primitives used (backwall lights, lower flippers, and bumpers).  Also for some of the logic.  Thanks to Hauntfreaks for the backglass images.  Thank you to Bord for the upper flipper images. And thank you to the VPW team for testing, especially apophis, BountyBob, RobbyKingPin, Tastywasps, Wylte, and PinStratsDan.

There are several options in the script.  Including VR, ball brightness, and LUT lighting options.  The LUT changes are done by holding cntl (or left mangasave) and then while holding, scroll through the options with the right magnasave.  The Dip Switch settings are done in the script and are hardcoded.  IF... you want to change them, there's a setting in the script to manually override that, and then use F6 during gameplay to bring up the Dip Switch setting.

This is a hybrid table done in VPX 10.74, and I have code in here to automatically choose between VR, desktop, and cabinet.   Additional VR options in the script include two VR environments, a VR clock, a topper, posters, and settings for dynamic shadows if you experience a performance hit.

Thanks again to EBisLit, Redbone, iaakki, and the VPW team!

  23. Watchmen (Original 2019)

WARNING: This table contains mature content.

Version 1.0.1 and later of the table requires at least Visual Pinball 10.7.
This table is based on the 1986 graphic novel by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons, published by DC Comics.

Thanks to Scottyvic and Vogliadicane for their art contributions, without which this would still have been a whitewood.

This table does not have a B2S backglass, but has an optional PinUp Player backglass available for download.
If you do not see a score display, change line 18 of the script to:
    const bForceDisablePuP = True
    RULES
RORSCHACH: Hit the left drop targets to light Rorschach modes. Hit the center saucer to start Rorschach modes. During Rorschach modes, hit orange lights.
NITE OWL: Hit the left ramp to light and start Nite Owl modes. During Nite Owl modes, hit white lights.
OZYMANDIAS: Hit the spinner to light and start Ozymandias modes. During Ozymandias modes, hit purple lights.
SILK SPECTRE: Hit the right ramp to light and start Silk Spectre modes. During Silk Spectre modes, hit yellow lights.
DR MANHATTAN: Hit the right saucer behind the right drop targets light and start Dr Manhattan modes. During Dr Manhattan modes, hit blue lights.
WIZARD MODES: Complete modes for all characters to light wizard modes.
