"When you play the Game of Thrones, you win or you die"

Welcome to VPW's "Original" recreation of one of Stern's most complex machines.

This project started with Skillman wanting to learn VPX and playing around reverse engineering the Stern SPIKE ROMs. Thanks to the detailed Youtube series by ChuckWurt the complete ruleset was documented, allowing it to be implemented in VBScript for this release.

When the beta table was introduced to the VPW team they really took an interest in taking it to the next level, and what you see is the result of nearly a year of their work.

This table requires VPX 10.7.2 and FlexDMD 1.8.

 - Access the Options menu with left+right magnasave during Attract mode
 - Use Right Magnasave during gameplay as the Action button
 - From the Options menu, change cabinet mode, LUTs, and presence of a "real" lockbar button
 - Access the Stern Service Menu with the service buttons to adjust standard game settings

Skillman, thanks for making the table I didn't know I liked so much! You don't have to be a Game of Thrones fan to enjoy this beauty. It's insanely fun with a deep ruleset. Gameplay and lighting is photo realistic. This is a table you keep playing over and over. I have no bells and whistles, just a TV layed on its back and tables like this still make it feel like an experience! Thanks team VPW for also pushing this table over a 10.

Like most tables outside of the late 80's and 90's, this table was also completely new to me when I first played it.  I've now played quite a few games but am just beginning to get a handle on the intricate rules.  The VPW mod team, led by Skillman who envisioned, researched, and coded this project, couldn't have done a better job to bring it to life.  This table is a dream to play and over time I look forward to reaching the Iron Throne wizard mode and to score huge!

It was quite the adventure.  Skillman is a machine.  Can't wait to work with him again.

What a masterpiece! I´ve given this table a lot of plays so far and it´s smashing, plays like a remebers the real table did, and also the sheer beauty of all the rendered graphics, looks just the real thing.

I found a good rulesheet on the web and also looked at Bowens tutorial on youtube and once you get a hang of the complex rules this is the most fun I´ve had since...?don´t know when 😄

Thank you to all you wonderful people who brought this for us to play 😍

It must have been an enormous amount of time invested in programming and debugging the code.

This tribute table looks and plays fantastic.   The lighting and RGB inserts give this table such  a realistic feel, amazing job team VPW!

I particularly like the physics around the top of the slings and outlanes,  the ball can actually bounce around instead of just outlane drain like in many other tables.   Attention to detail is truly outstanding, thank you for all the hard work that went into this tribute!

To get this level of authenticity on a complex pin like Game of Thrones, not only do you have to know your stuff, but you have to be passionate about it and want to do something as a labor of love.

Skillman and the VPW team delivered another stunner in spades.  His work on this pin is so damn good that this will be a constant table in my vpin rotation.

Well done everyone!

This would be a 5 star table even if it were ROM-driven, but knowing that it was coded from the ground up... 😵 Totally incredible. Not a GoT fan, but I am a fan of realistic virtual tables, and this is one of the best of them.
