Hi All,

 

Here is the final update of my Aliens table.
Finally! everything is where it is supposed to be!


A special thanks to JP Salas for allowing mods without permission (see original release), for answering all my questions, and helping me figure out some of the table's scripting "mysteries." :) (Muchas gracias).

 

The download contains the Aliens 3.0 table (final release), all music files, and for those of you that have been asking, a basic backglass (from the release version all those years back!)

The table is now complete and contains all the updates and features that were supposed to be there from the beginning, but I could not code!

The changes and upgrades are too many to re-call, but I'm sure (and hope) that you guys will have fun figuring them out.


If you have an older version of the table, please make sure you copy all the music files into your Music folder and override the old ones.

This is a great table that is quite different in playability from most. It has a lot of very interesting and fun elements. I especially enjoy the turrets when they get triggered, and the multiball event. Multiball is challenging to trigger, but it is very rewarding with excellent lighting, sounds, and callouts that create the mood. I really like the target shooting elements in the game, which are reminiscent of the Cactus Canyon and Bounty Hunter (Gottlieb) tables. The callouts in the game are very well thought-out and appropriate for each situation. I love the focus on the Space Marines fireteam, which prompted me to create a backglass that focuses on them as well.

 

This table is rock solid, has excellent graphics, callouts, lighting, and game play.

I was waiting for ver 3.0. A lot of changes for the better. Beautiful table - a must for all Alien fans
