Just a few notes on this...
Please dont use the VR option on this table as it likely will not work as I never worked on anything related to VR
It is highly recommended you play with the PUP Pack as almost all sounds/triggers are generated from the PUP Pack
This Pup Pack uses "PupCapture" triggers in some cases so the External DMD must be on
The table requires you to add a line in the VPMalias text file in your VPINMAME folder. You can copy and paste the line found in the Install Instructions below
The table has script built in that turns on the External DMD automatically and shuts it off again on Table Exit
The table has script built in to automatically mute the rom and then unmute the rom on Table Exit as to not interfere with the actual High Speed table

Option 1 - PUP on Full DMD
Unzip the file to a temporary location and copy the "dukes" folder to your PuP Videos folder
Run the "Option 1 - Pup on FullDMD" .bat file in the "dukes" folder
Edit your VPMAlias.txt file found in your VPINMame folder and add the following line to it
dukes,hs_l4
Copy the table and backglass files to your "Tables" folder
Move/Resize/Save the position for the External DMD when into place with the frame provided in the bottom of the PUP Overlay

And additionally special thank to GLX, gtxjo, Highlnder00 and anybody else where working on the previous versions before.
In this table I have create some new scripts for an ballistic impulse to the "MAP" section and some sound scripts for moving parts.
I have modified many Textures and Objects according to the real version of the table, and have created some special light effects, I hope you like it.
Generally enjoy this nice table and have fun with 8 Ball Multiball

Once more Thank You Looserman76 (R.I.P.) for creating all these wonderfull EM tables.
This update follows after JCalhoun's vpx v1.2.
After Watching Joe's recent repair videos of this table, I noticed some fixes needed for the VP table by Looserman76 and the many updates allready done by others.
Table States where not right so I corrected those. Ball 1 thru 5 now correctly selects the various switches and varitarget state, after each ball in play.
For the playfield after some research and comparing Gottlieb photos, videos. The colors needed to be corrected for the top playfield, Gottliebs logo and the 2 outlanes.
They are now in my opinion closer to what it should be a colored salmon(like), as close as when it came out of the factory in 1969. Most virtual tables I have seen had it yellow or orange, red for gottlieb's logo etc.

The Games (Gottlieb 1984)

Gottlieb's 1984 The Games! Simple but hard to master. The goal: collect five medals in one ball and it consists of five shots. Including captive balls, Vari-target, saucer, and a spinner. The shots are really fulfilling despite the simple guidelines. The captive ball, the spinner, and the vari target are examples of critical shots that pay off if you make them, but the ultimate payout an Olympic gold medal—comes from making them properly.
Thanks to Redbone who helped with the playfield and plastics from pictures off the web! He also spent a ton of time with all the other graphics on the table as well as a ton of testing! Hauntfreaks provided the higher resolution VR backglass (and an updated b2s). DarthVito did the VR wall environment, and topper. Silversurfer provided vector images from photos off the web for the VR cab. Also, look for the alternate sound pack that Redbone and Darthvito have been working on.
I built the table from scratch and included the latest VPW standards, physics, GI and shadow baking, Lampz and 3D inserts, dynamic shadows, updated backglass for desktop, playfield mesh for a saucer bevel, roth standup targets, standalone compatibility, optional DIP adjustments, updated flipper physics, VR and fully hybrid modes, Flupper style bumpers and lighting, gBOT system and trough. Dozens of hours were spent studying gameplay videos to match the table skill shots and action. I also used Rothbauerw's updated flipper physics code to help with the skillshots.
NOTE: YOU HAVE TO START THE TABLE 1ST, EXIT, AND THEN RESTART FOR DIP SETTINGS TO TAKE EFFECT. This is ONLY the first time you launch the table.
This table is loaded with options. Various balls, ball brightness, flippers, tents, caps, plastic edge colors, LUTs, Dip settings, siderails, and plenty of other VR stuff. Redbone once again encouraged me to include special edge LED lighting in the plastics that iaakki originally did for another table. Looks really cool, and is included as an option.
Redbone also created an alternate Gsound option. Download it here:
The ROM can be found at pinballnirvana.com... thegames.zip). There's an option in the script to change the DIPS, however it will load a default set when you launch the table. NOTE: AGAIN, YOU HAVE TO START THE TABLE 1ST, EXIT, AND THEN RESTART FOR DIP CHANGES TO TAKE EFFECT. This is ONLY the first time you launch the table.
There's also an option for "Tourney Mode". In that mode it'll play a little harder with different DIP settings, which excludes extra ball... and requires 3 medals to light special rather than 2. Tourney mode also sets colors and rainbow'ed LEDs on plastics. NOTE: you'll have to start and restart the first time in that mode for the DIP changes to take effect.
If you want to change the DIPs... you will need to go into the script options and change SetDIPSwitches to 1, then open the table, hit F6 (that'll load the default DIPS and display them). You can then select various ROM options. Once entered, you can exit out, and restart. That will then set the new ROM settings.

This pup has needed a bit of a clean up. Had to recrop every clip, normalize/nailbust. New version that needs testing, recropped everything and normalized audio. Got a few more changes in mind (toppers specifically, and topper Attracts) before I upload a new version to VPU and dump the google link for good. I Need feedback on the current volume levels and if I need to change them, this was my best guess to volume levels. I'm thinkin i Need to increase main screen video volume a little more if i leave music volume where its at now (120).

What is new in this Mod ?
It is a really rare Pinball game with a lot of difficulties to get pictures and informations about the original Pinball game...
I have rebuild the playfield in 4k with original parts as best as it was possible.
Also it will have now a new and smooth toy rotation movement, so it looks like the original now.
I did some light effects for a better presentation and update some plastics.
I hope you enjoy this update, because I'am a NFL fan and I like to have fun by playing this 🙂

1. I love the Delay of Game Trigger, if you idle in the shooter lane youll get a 12 second "risque" clip every 13 seconds that is quite likely nowhere else in the pup but here.
2. It's a little chaotic but so is Bond baby! Have fun!! I use max table volume, occasionally one click below max volume on table.

Much happier to present it to you in this more polished form. Which pup shall be attacked next? Shaken not stirred?
Delete the old pup and table file completely, kept name the same for popper purposes.
Had to recrop and reprocess everything, it's all normalized to 1080p and will run and look smoother now. Added a Bottom Topper Attract for more eyecandy and another callout.
1. A "-1" second "rest delay" MAY need to be added to the Ball Launch Clip "screen 4" for new ball launch clip trigger. Need playtest if you arent getting the ball launch clips on balls 2 and 3. Ball 1 is fine. Simple fix but may need to change that when I know if it's an issue.

1. You May have perspective issues with this table. I warn you. I did. The only way to change that i know of is pressing F6 interactive table edit, and resize everything to fit perfectly on whatever playfield monitor you use. Resize them to fit perfect, quit table, then save table..... I'm no master of fixing the table to fit perfectly, so I may have to get someone to save a POV that looks perfect, send it to me, and i'll reupload the table file with the new point of view imported.

1. I've been pestering some table creators to make a NON-ROM version of a new tron table for a minute! If you are a table creator, I'm pestering you too..... right now! If you feel me, please put it on your to do list! Tron is epic! I'd do a pup for it to whatever parameters you want, I'm at your command, disposal, and secrecy! I guess a new rom Reskin would be cool too, as long as it's a pup friendly rom.
2. Tron's highly sentimental to me personally.... when I was a little kid the Tron arcade unit was always to most impactful and visually stunning arcade unit I would play as a kid, and the movie.... needless to say.... i wanna bring it to pinball for all of us Tron dorks! Not to mention, used to play Tron Deadly Discs on the freaking Intellivision as a kid.
3. If you want to Change the Attract from the Tron 3 Ares attract I elected to roll with despite the watermark which we can't do anything about then make sure you also change the appropriate "kill attract triggers" for the corresponding "screen 4" filename of the attract you want to use. You change the attract in pupeditor Triggers Tab. The watermark is a small price to pay, the nostalgia and pump you up factor was way too high! I asked the tron 3 attract creator for a non-watermarked version for pinball table purposes, hopefully hear back from him soon.
4. Updates with more callouts are comin pretty soon for this. I was originally gonna have the tron 2 clips in a seperate folder to OPTIONALLY add to the pup, but after playtesting.... it's too cool with them in it, so elected to leave them in by default.... there's always a delete button if you wanna remove tron 2 clips.

At the top of the script there is an option for color or bw playfield which will also change the VR cabinet between a black and white design and a color design.
This mod requires the Pup Pack. You can find the link to download the updated Pup Pack at the top of the script as well.
I added 3 Pup Pack Options in the root of the Pup Pack folder (Led Zeppelin)
Option 1 - VR_Color_Hauntfreaks_BG (This will switch the Backglass to the Color design by Hauntfreaks that suits the color table)
Option 2 - VR_Original_BG (This will use the original backglass that suits the Black and White table)
Option 3 - Original_3_Screen_Setup (This will reset the Pup Pack back to default (For cabinet or desktop play)
