Due to system limitations searching with words of 3 or less characters will not return results. For instance; Doctor Who.  This will not return results as the system is trying to search for both Doctor AND Who in which Who will not be found as it's a 3 character word.  To find Doctor Who; you'd search for either Doctor or "Doctor Who".

    Search Tips:
For specific searches; enclose your search with quotes. Example: "Doctor Who" or "Addams Family".

  1. Version FizX3.3 V1.00

2001 (Gottlieb, 1971) FizX 3.3 V1.00 IPDB No. 2697 NOTES: You must use BAM 365 or higher MOD UNAUTHORIZED WITHOUT EXPLICIT PERMISSION FROM THE AUTHORS You can access to the menu with the Special2Key. You can toggle (by the toggle HUD key) the HUD reel. If you use arrows for plunger (optional), you have to use arrow down and arrow up (customisable) in order to pull or push the plunger. RULES: Points are scored as indicated. Hitting drop targtes score 50 points. Completing a set of colored drop targtets lights corresponding hole and rollover for additional score. Completing any 3 sets (3 balls game) or all sets (5 balls game) of colored drop targtes lights special. Special scores 1 replay. Matching last number in score to number that appears on back glass when game is over scores 1 replay. Free replays depend on the difficulty level chosen IPDB HIGHLIGHTS: Date Of Manufacture: January, 1961 Production: 2,200 units (confirmed) Notable Features: Flippers (2), Pop bumpers (2), Slingshots (4), 10-bank drop targets (2), Kick-out holes (5), Standup targets (4). Two slingshot kickers in upper playfield. Backglass light animation: completing a bank of drop targets lights one of four "starred" cards in backglass. Lighting three cards makes playfield specials lite alternately. Maximum displayed point score is 9,999 points. Design by: Ed Krynski Art by: Gordon Morison Notes: The add-a-ball version of this game is Gottlieb's 1971 'Dimension' but with different artwork. The backglass in the manufacturer’s flyer shows colors that are not replicated on all the production glasses that we show. Specifically, the large green area below the score reels are a uniform color of green in the flyer, the lower right striped area has stripes that are as yellow as the upper playfield, and three of the five large stars above ‘2001’ are this same yellow color. In some production glasses, the area below the score reels alternate between green and yellow-green, the stripes are yellow-green instead of yellow, and the three stars are also yellow-green. Even if allowing for color variations in flyer printing and/or camera processing, or differences with lighting used when the games were photographed, these color differences appear discrete and suggest more than one color set was made during backglass production. However, based on the game shown here having serial number 05430, we cannot say with confidence that production games with backglasses that match the flyer are Early Production. Other explanations for these color variations are possible. '2001', its add-a-ball version 'Dimension', and the add-a-ball export version 'Galaxie', all made by Gottlieb in 1971, are the first pinball machines to feature multiple banks of drop targets.

The 1974 Bally table Delta Queen. The main goal is to build the bonus and collect it by hitting the saucer on the upper left. If you can hit both the A and B target, the bonus is doubled. The bonus does not reset if it is collected by hitting the saucer. When the ball drains, the bonus is collected and is reset to 1000. Instead of the usual "ball in play," this machine uses "balls remaining." I think the intent was to make it so you can earn an extra ball, and a shoot again at the same time. Also, there is a credit light which I think was for locations where you could earn an extra game but were not allowed to have a credit counter to possibly resell them. So, you knew there was at least 1 credit, but there could be more. Pinball has an interesting legal history. There are lots of options on the F12 menu. * This is a 0.0 "first draft" release. Please let me know if you find any problems. I asked Teisen to look it over, so we can look forward to some visual improvements. I found a pretty good picture of the playfield and did my best to clean that up. I had a much harder time with the plastics, and they are far from perfect. I didn't make a B2S this time, because I usually throw something together quick and within a few days somebody creates a much better one - which is awesome! This time I'm leaving it for people that are good at it. If nothing shows up in a few weeks, I'll make one. *You have my permission to mod/improve/copy anything here. Thanks again to the VP community for creating the VPX program, tutorials, and for sharing tables and resources!

As a Happy Thanksgiving to *ALL* our VPU friends around the world EM Underdogs is very proud to present Gottlieb's 1970 Snow Derby! Just in time for the winter sports season, Snow Derby brings great fun in the form of a skiing and snowmobile race around the pylons. Slalom your way through the spinners and rack up the laps to increase your bonus! Snow Derby is the 2 player version of Snow Queen. A specially commissioned version is Bristol Hills which was made to promote New York state's winter sports. EM Underdogs actually started this massive update in July 2024! Fleep sounds were added along with all the spectacular visual work. It's truly a beautiful and evocative pinball. @Silversurfer vectorized the plastics and cleaned up the playfield art @teisen Did much of the color correction, metals and lighting. He also modified JP Salas lighted numbers for the ball in play instruction card! @hauntfreaks made the shadows and extra lighting. Of course he updated his fabulous B2S linked above as well! @Cliffy Made sure everything was as accurate to the real thing as possible and created much of the fine detailed visuals. Correct spinner brackets with animated rods- Check the period correct custom made lockdown bar! Cliffy also created the log cabin backdrop with skiing motif and used Hauntfreaks b2s elements to make nice crisp desktop scoring. There is also a backdrop in image manage for use with Haunts B2S. We hope everyone enjoys playing this beautiful rendition of a fabulous Gottlieb pinball. Time to hit the slopes!

So, the name was changed again, to 'Big Indian', stalling production for three months.

Space Mission came out in the year of the U.S Bicentennial. I remember that year and can tell you that the air was heavy with patriotism and this pinball machine, featuring the U.S. Apollo spacecraft, hews closely to the zeitgeist of 1976. (Although it also features the USSR's Soyuz spacecraft - depicting an event, the Apollo-Soyuz rendezvous, that had occurred the year before in 1975). Unusual features of this four-player, EM (electro-mechanical) table include a swinging target in the center of the playfield and the two ball kickers on either side of the flippers (watch people play the real table - they let the ball roll off the flipper into these kickers for extra points). Also, a spinner in the upper-left is fun to rocket through, and see if you can orbit the Super Bonus Advance in the upper-right. The Space Mission table is (at the time of this writing) #4 in the top-10 for electro-mechanical pinball. The two-player version of this table is called Space Odyssey. This is a community, EM table, originally created by the late Loserman76. We are indebted to him for, by my count, over 200 VPX tables. My changes to Loserman76's table, this version 1.1, add Fleep sounds and new sound code. The table now plays much better on cabinets with SSF (surround-sound feedback). One piece of Gottlieb documentation shows a date for this game of June 1975 but Cash Box Feb-22-1975 page 41 states Gottlieb had already wrapped up its overseas shipments of this game and its domestic deliveries were in progress. Gottlieb's documentation may have intended to indicate January 1975. According to the Gottlieb Engineering Game Cards, this game was ready to leave the Engineering Department in January 1975 for the production floor, and the next card dated April 1975 shows the game had already left the Engineering Department. re-up from a couple years back, no changes. For those of you with more friends than I have, I did a quick conversion of my Card Whiz into the 4 player Royal Flush. The table is identical, just changed the backdrop, put the score reels back in view (my base template is 4 player so scripted Card Whiz with this in mind) and built a new directb2s to go with it from images found online.

Sample games were produced as 'Big Injun' and, according to the Encyclopedia of Pinball Vol 1, the Native American employees in Gottlieb's wiring and assembly plant in South Dakota complained about this. So, the name was changed again, to 'Big Indian', stalling production for three months. Submitter Popotte Submitted 05/29/26 Category Future Pinball Tables

A classic pairing of Wayne Neyens and Roy Parker brings us Gigi, a deceptively cute yet challenging pinball. A product of its time featuring Marilyn Monroe and some “hillbilly” humor makes one wonder the direction they really intended. The rules are simple. From the IPDB: @EMUnderdogs has labored for months (in their spare time of course!) to bring this table to a more accurate representation than has ever been previously released. @Silversurfer painstakingly recreated the backglass, playfield and plastics in vectors which gave the rest of us a perfect platform to build upon. All elements scaled properly to the blueprint and nfozzy physics materials applied. EM sounds updated and lighting and shadows tweaked to near perfection. Take Gigi out for a spin and keep in mind that this has a manual ball lifter (right magna or 1 key). There is an option menu by holding the left flipper a few seconds that lets you change to automatic ball lift instead as well as several scoring options. There are also desktop scoring or b2s backdrops available by changing in the editor/toggle backglass view / DT Image dropdown. Now with VR added by @DGrimmReaper! @Silversurfer and @hauntfreaks new backglass: Thanks to @GordonJames for testing and providing valuable feedback, especially on lighting and shadows. Enjoy @EMUnderdogs Gigi!

EM Underdogs brings you a completely rebuilt Surf Champ from Gottlieb in 1976 with desktop, full screen and VR, making it a hybrid. We started with @teisen 2023 mod of Losermans 2018 version, tore it down and completely rebuilt just about everything. @Silversurfer completely redrew the playfield and plastics in vectors @burger checked us out on our fleep sounds and nfozzy physics, fine tuning to perfection. @DGrimmReaper made the VR happen and added the @mcarter78 beachfront boardwalk VR room! @Cliffy and @teisen did all the scaling, lighting, inserts, bumpers, all the detail stuff that this absolutely gorgeous table deserves Full changelog shown in the F12 menu. This table has a few play options available by holding the left flipper a few seconds before starting a game. There is also a preview of the VR room for desktop users by simply changing line 42. Desktop users also have a separate backdrop available if using a directb2s by changing it in image manager EM Underdogs hopes you enjoy playing this summertime beauty as much as we do! An undersea adventure awaits! Discover the scoring opportunities found only in Atlantis 1.3 update! VR added! A first for EM Underdogs- thanks to @DGrimmReaper using @leojreimroc VR assets you can now play our Atlantis table in a VR undersea environment! Of course it's a hybrid version playable in desktop, cabinet and now virtual reality modes. Grab your scuba gear and dive in! EM Underdogs brings you another fine update to a classic, highly desirable, wedgehead. @teisen had updated Losermans table a while back and we decided it was a good candidate for a really nice new update with Fleep sounds and nFozzy EM physics as well as the usual EMU graphics updates. VPX 10.8.0 Final was used to update this game. Special thanks to @outhere for help with DOF fixes! Desktop and B2S backgrounds available as options in Image Manager. Atlantis is a gorgeous game with art by Gordon Morison and design by Jeff Brenner who also created a double drop target scoring system only used on this game. From his remarks on the IPDB; "Noteworthy on this game was my concept of awarding a scoring premium for hitting two adjacent drop targets simultaneously." All update info is shown in the F12 menu, please have a look as a lot of work went into this beauty EM Underdogs hopes you enjoy another fun release!

Thanks to Loserman76, Teisen, Cliffy - another great EM (electro-mechanical) table for VPX. Fleep sounds have been added for this version, 1.2, enhancing the table. Some small tweaks to lighting, a 2K apron and cards round out the changes. The table is a little unusual having a pair of flippers lined up on the left of the drain and another pair of flippers along the right of the drain. It also is conspicuous for having no slingshots. Learning the unusual flippers is part of the fun. Additionally, the power of the flippers allows you to get the ball back near the top of the playfield - unusual for many EM tables. The original table by Loserman76 (RIP) is here: https://vpuniverse.com/files/file/8293-king-rock-gottlieb-1972/ Teisen's modded table followed: https://vpuniverse.com/files/file/18359-king-rock-gottlieb-1972_teisen_mod/

It's a fascinating thing that the work you create, if shared, can outlive you. So it is for Jeff "Loserman76" Whitehead. We all have him to thank for his prolific work in creating EM games for VPX. And so his title, Sheriff is seeing a lot of work by the community: Teisen modded, then GauGau... I have tweaked the sound code to incorporate Fleep's sounds and sound code. This improves the SSF (surround sound feedback) for flippers, etc. As per GauGau's work, you can create a music folder called "Sheriff" with custom music, or see his Western-themed PUP pack. Hitting "bonus booster" adds bonus 5 times (for 3 balls game - 3 times for 5 balls game). Hitting A-B-C rollovers lites corresponding targets and bottom rollovers for increased value. Completing A,B abd C rollovers lites two red targets for special. Gate closes when ball leaves palying area. A-B-C sequance resets after each ball. A tilt does not disqualify a player. Matching last two numbers in score to number that appears on back glass after game is over scores 1 replay. IPDB HIGHLIGHTS: Date Of Manufacture: June, 1974 Production: 6,650 units (confirmed) Notable Features: Flippers (2), Pop bumpers (3), Slingshots (2), Standup targets (6), Kick-out hole (1), Captive ball (1), Upper left and right kickback lanes, Right outlane ball return gate. End-of-ball bonus. 3 or 5 ball play. Maximum displayed point score is 99,990 points per player. Sound: 3 chimes, knocker Design by: Ed Krynski Art by: Gordon Morison Notes: The 2-player version of this game is Gottlieb's 1974 'Duotron'. We previously showed a date for this game of August 1974. The new date is per Gottlieb documentation. Pictured in this listing is an exported Sample game with serial number 01154 S. It does not have inserts at the top three rollover lanes or at the flipper inlanes to represent A-B-C, instead using painted red letters. The copyright notice is below the left flipper and not in the blue area above the bonus ladder, and the outlane B and C inserts have nearby text entirely on a blue background instead of half blue and half red. This Sample game also was never equipped at the factory with a chime unit and having no mounting holes in the cabinet wall prove this. The owner, located in the UK, recalls he got the game from either Holland or Germany. For more information about factory non-installation of bells and chimes in USA games exported to Europe, see our Notes for Bally's 1969 'Cosmos'.
