Due to system limitations searching with words of 3 or less characters will not return results. For instance; Doctor Who. This will not return results as the system is trying to search for both Doctor AND Who in which Who will not be found as it's a 3 character word. To find Doctor Who; you'd search for either Doctor or "Doctor Who".
Search Tips:
For specific searches; enclose your search with quotes. Example: "Doctor Who" or "Addams Family".

Space Mission came out in the year of the U.S Bicentennial. I remember that year and can tell you that the air was heavy with patriotism and this pinball machine, featuring the U.S. Apollo spacecraft, hews closely to the zeitgeist of 1976. (Although it also features the USSR's Soyuz spacecraft - depicting an event, the Apollo-Soyuz rendezvous, that had occurred the year before in 1975). Unusual features of this four-player, EM (electro-mechanical) table include a swinging target in the center of the playfield and the two ball kickers on either side of the flippers (watch people play the real table - they let the ball roll off the flipper into these kickers for extra points). Also, a spinner in the upper-left is fun to rocket through, and see if you can orbit the Super Bonus Advance in the upper-right. The Space Mission table is (at the time of this writing) #4 in the top-10 for electro-mechanical pinball. The two-player version of this table is called Space Odyssey. This is a community, EM table, originally created by the late Loserman76. We are indebted to him for, by my count, over 200 VPX tables. My changes to Loserman76's table, this version 1.1, add Fleep sounds and new sound code. The table now plays much better on cabinets with SSF (surround-sound feedback). The weather is warm and the surf is up, dudes and dudettes! Grab your board and hit the beach! EM Underdogs brings you a completely rebuilt Surf Champ from Gottlieb in 1976 with desktop, full screen and VR, making it a hybrid. We started with @teisen 2023 mod of Losermans 2018 version, tore it down and completely rebuilt just about everything. @Silversurfer completely redrew the playfield and plastics in vectors @burger checked us out on our fleep sounds and nfozzy physics, fine tuning to perfection. @DGrimmReaper made the VR happen and added the @mcarter78 beachfront boardwalk VR room! @Cliffy and @teisen did all the scaling, lighting, inserts, bumpers, all the detail stuff that this absolutely gorgeous table deserves Full changelog shown in the F12 menu. This table has a few play options available by holding the left flipper a few seconds before starting a game. There is also a preview of the VR room for desktop users by simply changing line 42. Desktop users also have a separate backdrop available if using a directb2s by changing it in image manager EM Underdogs hopes you enjoy playing this summertime beauty as much as we do!- 13 comments

re-up from a couple years back, no changes. For those of you with more friends than I have, I did a quick conversion of my Card Whiz into the 4 player Royal Flush. The table is identical, just changed the backdrop, put the score reels back in view (my base template is 4 player so scripted Card Whiz with this in mind) and built a new directb2s to go with it from images found online.- 9 comments

Matching last number in score to number that appears on back glass when game is over scores 1 replay. Free replays depend on the difficulty level chosen IPDB HIGHLIGHTS: Date Of Manufacture: January, 1961 Production: 2,200 units (confirmed) Notable Features: Flippers (2), Pop bumpers (2), Slingshots (4), 10-bank drop targets (2), Kick-out holes (5), Standup targets (4). Two slingshot kickers in upper playfield. Backglass light animation: completing a bank of drop targets lights one of four "starred" cards in backglass. Lighting three cards makes playfield specials lite alternately. Maximum displayed point score is 9,999 points. Design by: Ed Krynski Art by: Gordon Morison Notes: The add-a-ball version of this game is Gottlieb's 1971 'Dimension' but with different artwork. The backglass in the manufacturer’s flyer shows colors that are not replicated on all the production glasses that we show. Specifically, the large green area below the score reels are a uniform color of green in the flyer, the lower right striped area has stripes that are as yellow as the upper playfield, and three of the five large stars above ‘2001’ are this same yellow color. In some production glasses, the area below the score reels alternate between green and yellow-green, the stripes are yellow-green instead of yellow, and the three stars are also yellow-green. Even if allowing for color variations in flyer printing and/or camera processing, or differences with lighting used when the games were photographed, these color differences appear discrete and suggest more than one color set was made during backglass production. However, based on the game shown here having serial number 05430, we cannot say with confidence that production games with backglasses that match the flyer are Early Production. Other explanations for these color variations are possible. '2001', its add-a-ball version 'Dimension', and the add-a-ball export version 'Galaxie', all made by Gottlieb in 1971, are the first pinball machines to feature multiple banks of drop targets. -

A classic pairing of Wayne Neyens and Roy Parker brings us Gigi, a deceptively cute yet challenging pinball. A product of its time featuring Marilyn Monroe and some “hillbilly” humor makes one wonder the direction they really intended. The rules are simple. From the IPDB: @EMUnderdogs has labored for months (in their spare time of course!) to bring this table to a more accurate representation than has ever been previously released. @Silversurfer painstakingly recreated the backglass, playfield and plastics in vectors which gave the rest of us a perfect platform to build upon. All elements scaled properly to the blueprint and nfozzy physics materials applied. EM sounds updated and lighting and shadows tweaked to near perfection. Take Gigi out for a spin and keep in mind that this has a manual ball lifter (right magna or 1 key). There is an option menu by holding the left flipper a few seconds that lets you change to automatic ball lift instead as well as several scoring options. There are also desktop scoring or b2s backdrops available by changing in the editor/toggle backglass view / DT Image dropdown. Now with VR added by @DGrimmReaper! @Silversurfer and @hauntfreaks new backglass: Thanks to @GordonJames for testing and providing valuable feedback, especially on lighting and shadows. Enjoy @EMUnderdogs Gigi!- 31 comments

VPX 10.8.0 Final was used to update this game. Special thanks to @outhere for help with DOF fixes! Desktop and B2S backgrounds available as options in Image Manager. Atlantis is a gorgeous game with art by Gordon Morison and design by Jeff Brenner who also created a double drop target scoring system only used on this game. Thanks to Loserman76, Teisen, Cliffy - another great EM (electro-mechanical) table for VPX. Fleep sounds have been added for this version, 1.2, enhancing the table. Some small tweaks to lighting, a 2K apron and cards round out the changes. The table is a little unusual having a pair of flippers lined up on the left of the drain and another pair of flippers along the right of the drain. It also is conspicuous for having no slingshots. Learning the unusual flippers is part of the fun. Additionally, the power of the flippers allows you to get the ball back near the top of the playfield - unusual for many EM tables. The original table by Loserman76 (RIP) is here: https://vpuniverse.com/files/file/8293-king-rock-gottlieb-1972/ Teisen's modded table followed: https://vpuniverse.com/files/file/18359-king-rock-gottlieb-1972_teisen_mod/ -

It's a fascinating thing that the work you create, if shared, can outlive you. So it is for Jeff "Loserman76" Whitehead. We all have him to thank for his prolific work in creating EM games for VPX. And so his title, Sheriff is seeing a lot of work by the community: Teisen modded, then GauGau... I have tweaked the sound code to incorporate Fleep's sounds and sound code. This improves the SSF (surround sound feedback) for flippers, etc. As per GauGau's work, you can create a music folder called "Sheriff" with custom music, or see his Western-themed PUP pack. RULES: Insert one coin and wait for machine to reset before inserting coins for additional players. Players take turns shooting as shown on back glass. Points are scored as indicated. Hitting "bonus booster" adds bonus 5 times (for 3 balls game - 3 times for 5 balls game). Hitting A-B-C rollovers lites corresponding targets and bottom rollovers for increased value. Completing A,B abd C rollovers lites two red targets for special. Gate closes when ball leaves palying area. A-B-C sequance resets after each ball. A tilt does not disqualify a player. Matching last two numbers in score to number that appears on back glass after game is over scores 1 replay. IPDB HIGHLIGHTS: Date Of Manufacture: June, 1974 Production: 6,650 units (confirmed) Notable Features: Flippers (2), Pop bumpers (3), Slingshots (2), Standup targets (6), Kick-out hole (1), Captive ball (1), Upper left and right kickback lanes, Right outlane ball return gate. End-of-ball bonus. 3 or 5 ball play. Maximum displayed point score is 99,990 points per player. Sound: 3 chimes, knocker Design by: Ed Krynski Art by: Gordon Morison Notes: The 2-player version of this game is Gottlieb's 1974 'Duotron'. We previously showed a date for this game of August 1974. The new date is per Gottlieb documentation. Pictured in this listing is an exported Sample game with serial number 01154 S. It does not have inserts at the top three rollover lanes or at the flipper inlanes to represent A-B-C, instead using painted red letters. The copyright notice is below the left flipper and not in the blue area above the bonus ladder, and the outlane B and C inserts have nearby text entirely on a blue background instead of half blue and half red. This Sample game also was never equipped at the factory with a chime unit and having no mounting holes in the cabinet wall prove this. The owner, located in the UK, recalls he got the game from either Holland or Germany. For more information about factory non-installation of bells and chimes in USA games exported to Europe, see our Notes for Bally's 1969 'Cosmos'. -

IPDB HIGHLIGHTS: Date Of Manufacture: August, 1971 Production: 1,555 units (confirmed) Notable Features: Flippers (2), Pop bumpers (3), Mushroom bumpers (6), Slingshots (2), Rollover buttons (4), Kick-out holes (2), Left-side kickback lane, Up-post between flippers. Design by: Ted Zale Art by: Christian Marche Notes: There are two versions of backglass pictured in this listing. The differences are in the colors of the large rings and the color of the Ball In Play sign. The two versions are arbitrarily numbered here: Version #1: The rings, starting with the outermost one, are colored green-white-red. The Ball In Play sign is orange in color. The flyer appears to be this version. Version #2: The outermost ring is not black, but a deep red/purple, almost black, followed by red then yellow. The Ball In Play sign is yellow. This shows a change of colors occurred during production. The flyer would be expected to have the first version as the earliest one. Its glass looks the same as the one pictured in this listing having serial number 1530, which would indicate the change happened after a third of the games were made (unless backglasses were switched between cabinets at any time after they left the factory). More serial number information is needed to help determine when in production this change was made. -

re-upload of table from vpinball, no changes. This one is quite old and I have not tested it in newer vpx versions. Gottlieb's 1977 Jungle Princess, the 2 player version of Jungle Queen (4 player). Most of the graphics was given me by Starman from his vp9 Jungle Queen table. Much of the play logic comes from him as well. thanks to hauntfreaks as usual for graphics, lighting, and primitive updates thanks to sliderpoint for play testing and bug catching (mostly by letting me play on his vp cab where I could actually see things, gotta get my fullsize done soon) like all my tables hold down left flipper before starting a game to bring up options menu. This is the first one I've done with a freeplay option as well. -

VPW presents Hang Glider by Bally, In honor and memoriam of Jeff Whitehead, aka loserman76, who passed on Nov 16th 2021. loserman76 made the original VPX version of Hang Glider and was a longstanding champion of EM machines in virtual pinball (and prolifically so, making literally hundreds of EM virtual tables), and although none of us knew him personally he was often seen in the forums offering his expert help and advice, and was happy for us to start work on this some months ago. He will be missed and our thoughts are with his family. Original Description; Benji wanted to try and render an EM table to see how good we could make it look, so we asked loserman76 if we could mod his Hang Glider VPX table to which he agreed, it was a good experiment but very different from what we are used to! VPW Gliders ======== Graphics: Benji Scripting: gtxjoe, apophis, scottacus Physics: Benji, apophis Drop Targets: gtxjoe, apophis Shadows: apophis, Wylte VR: Leojreimroc Numerous Tweaks: Sixtoe Testing: Bord, VPW VPW change log =========== '001-004 - Benji - Intitial import of baked geometry and low rez images. Added nfozzzy physics and fleep code (most not assigned yet). '005 - apophis - added RTX BS '006 - Benji - adjusted flipper mesh height. Adjust transparency of plastic over center kicker, changed background color to black, added holes in playfield mesh and added hole meshes '007 - gtxjoe - scripted spinner and standup prims. added shot tester (W E R Y U I P A S F G H J K). Standup 002-225 and DropTgt need new pivot point. Drops not scripted yet '008 - Benji - Changed pivot of all drops and targets 'one more time'... '009 - gtxjoe - Added roth drop target scripting. Drop targets work but sometimes hard to drop. Not sure why. '011 - Benji - Playfield hole texture adjusted, apron mesh/render fixed/moved VPX GI deleted. DL changed to 1 on all imported/baked prims '012 - gtxjoe - Worked on drop target animation. Works but target primitives need to be rotated 180 degrees. '013 - benji - targets rotated 180 degrees vn_kicker mesh added and vn_KickerArm needs to be animated. Baked sling rubber meshes imported to layer 5, need to be hooked up '014 - gtxjoe - vn_KickerArm and sling rubber meshes animated. There is temp "vn_KickerArmTEST" to show the kicker arm animation - can be deleted after reviewing '016 - benji - New half-rez baked render set with adjusted moodier lighting. Added Rubbers collection for fleep hit sounds. Hooked up fleep slingshot shounds. Added more visible playfield holes. Removed old non collidable slings ' Imported baked GI bulbs as separate mesh, settting DL to 1. Moved them down a bit. Adjusted center kicker plywood hole mesh and texture. Adjusted Apron mesh and texture. '017 - Benji - more fiddling with baked lighting. added Credit light mesh on hapron with on/off image that needs to be hooked up. '018 - gtxjoe - Scripted Credit Light, Gottlieb chime sounds and Drop target reset sound '019 - Benji - adjusted flipper mesh height from playfield. tweaked some render things '020 - scottacus - flipper tricks and the DT code. If you part out posts those could be dampened. '021 - apophis - Added GI lights back in on layer 9, set all halo heights to -1. Updated RTX BS implementation. '022 - apophis - Updated RTX BS so that shadows don't disappear when ball over playfield mesh hole. Added rubberizer, target bouncer, and coil ramp up options. Fixed a lot of Fleep sound implementation issues. Updated flipper tricks scripts. Tweaked some physics parameters. '027 - leojreimroc - Added VR Room. Added Buzzer sound for "Over the Top". Slightly enlarge Apron. '028 - leojreimroc - Added bar and Fancy Minimal Room '029 - leojreimroc - Removed Bar Room.
