Welcome To The Future! (v2.0!) VPW are very proud to present Total Nuclear Annihilation V2.0! This project started in April '21 when EBisLit obtained a full set of new plastics for TNA for scanning, and gtxjoe started updating the script of the original v1.0 release with numerous fixes and rolling in both nfozzy physics and fleep audio, supported by Scott Danesi who provided the original DMD media, TNA light animations and sound effects. Over the next 2 years the table was worked on by a number of people in the community changing and updating nearly everything, bringing it as close in line with the real table as possible, including programming the light shows and now using the original machines video. What you see is the culmination of thousands of man hours of development, we're super happy with it, and hope you will be too! (and yes it's meant to be that hard!) TABLE MUSIC =========== This VPX table **does not** come with the TNA soundtrack. For the full music experience, you will need to BUY the TNA Album and possibly convert the songs from FLAC format to mp3 format with a tool like this: https://www.freac.org/ It is available here: https://danesidesigns.com/collections/digital-music-downloads After buying them rename all mp3 files to TNA1.mp3 through TNA10.mp3 (Scarlet.mp3 is not used) Place the tracks in the \Visual Pinball\Music\TNA folder, then you must find and set bMusicOn to true in the script like this: Const bMusicOn = True and then you can disable the TNA message by setting Disable_TNA_Message = True Please show Scott Danesi your support and thanks for creating an awesome pinball game and for making the music available for us to buy. PinUp Player *Now Required* =========================== ** Download the Pup Pack from the Download button on this page! *** Pinup Player 1.44 or higher is required. Install files and setup guide can be found here: http://www.nailbuster.com/wikipinup/doku.php?id=install_guide ● PuP-Pack folder "tna" needs to be copied to your PUPVideos folder. ● Windows "Text and Scaling" / DPI must be set to 100 for ALL your screens! ● your "PuP Backglass" display needs to be a proper 16:9 ratio (such as 1920x1080) ● if you have a dedicated 3rd LCD screen that is 16:9 ratio or full size (similar to the real TNA cabinet), ● then your Pup "FullDMD" display must be positioned on that 3rd screen and at 16:9 ratio (1920x1080, 1366x768, 1280x720,etc) ● it's VERY important to have the PuP Backglass and PuP Music displays at proper 16:9 ratio, or the text will NOT display correctly ● the pup displays can be configured with the PinUpPlayerConfigDisplays.bat There are 4 PuP-Pack options (depending on your cabinet / setup): Navigate to the; PinUPSystem\PUPVideos\tna Directory and double click on the option you will be using to set up PuP properly. Option 1 - PUPDMD on the Backglass. For those who don't have a dedicated fullsize 3rd monitor / TV for the PUPDMD text and videos. Option 2 - PUPDMD on the Backglass with B2S. Same as above, but setup to allow the 4 player score from the directb2s to show on the bottom. Option 3 - PUPDMD on a Fullscreen (similar to a modern Stern or TNA cabinet). Display the PUPDMD and Text on a 3rd dedicated 16:9 fullscreen. This option allows you to also view the entire TNA Backglass at the same time. Option 4 - VR or Desktop. I've been playing this game for around 11 months now and I must say this is one of the best game companies. I respect them more than any other out there right now. They are not predatory like many companies are. They put so much tender loving care in what they create. This game is constantly evolving with so much cool content, I'll be playing it for years I'm pretty sure. You should be too! There is currently a pretty epic free character for this month only with the recent CD Projekt Red/Kuro Games Wuwa/Cyberpunk Collaboration. 1. Pup-Pack is required, sorry no exceptions. This is PupDMD. Place WuWa pup pack folder into your pupvideos folder then select the pupoption that matches your setup best. 2. F12 Menu Page 2 contains useful options such as music volume control (i use 90%), and lightning sound effects (i like them on), glow balls etc etc 3. Select your character with magna buttons before launching the ball, the character you choose changes everything, the clips/music etc etc. 4. Character select can and regularly does occur Mid-Game so be ready for that, when you hear "select a resonator", choose with flippers and plunger switch. 5. Please when you're mid-game...... switch characters when you are prompted..... you miss out on a lot of points by not having your character selected, be strategic. Don't just leave it idling on character select screen. It's what you have to be doing to be playing the table right. Toying with putting 8 second auto selection when “mid-game” then you would just need to have the character highlighted Massive Thanks to @Tombg Back around November I privately pitched this idea for a new table to Tom and he graciously accepted! Very rarely happens and can't pinpoint why.... music won't start on the first ball.... after that it's good the rest of the time playing. IDK 4. Clips disabled in the pup for activating on DMD mini-Game. Can't find the right spot to add events There's one Easter Egg clip in there that clearly does not belong! Can you find it! I'm leaving it! ================================================================ IT Pinball Madness - Pennywise Edition (PuP Pack) ================================================================ Hey everyone, Releasing my Pennywise PuP pack for IT Pinball Madness. First and foremost, full credit and thanks to: - jpsals - original creator of IT Pinball Madness - Nailbuster for testing and DOF fix - TeamTuga-pedro pires. pedro peres , mario Paulo Without their work this would not exist. All I have done is wrap Pennywise around the great pinball game they already made. ---------------------------------------------------------------- WHY I MADE THIS ---------------------------------------------------------------- I did not want to just throw movie clips on the backglass and call it a PuP pack. There are plenty of those already and they get old fast - the same five clips loop, nothing reacts to what you are actually doing on the playfield, and after a game or two you stop noticing it. I wanted Pennywise to feel like he is actually watching you play. So instead of pulling clips from the movie I generated 221 voice videos of Pennywise speaking custom lines, mapped to specific game events - drains, tilts, ball saves, combos, lock-is-lit, extra ball, jackpots, multiball, the lot. He taunts you when you drain. He laughs when you tilt. He notices when you save a ball. On top of that there are 11 idle reaction clips that randomly cycle on the backglass during attract and between events, so even when nothing is happening he is still there - blinking, smiling, tilting his head, staring. The voices were generated and then animated frame-by-frame so the mouth actually matches what he is saying. The idle clips were done separately. None of it is repurposed movie footage. My wife refuses to play it because she thinks it is too scary. I have only ever tested this with the mm_10 ROM. This is a pupcapture powered ROM pup so make sure your dmd is loading properly or you will get no triggers. I am curious what ROM's will work, the profanity rom wasn't loading the DMD for me. You can Shave off some pup size by sacrificing some vids from the gameover folder which serves as the attract randomizer folder for this pup, or expand it to the threshold of total madness! All credit goes to @Dr.Nobody for making a wide assortment of overlays for Star Wars pups, I figured why not use ALL of them, instead of just one!! No need to switch overlays manually, it will switch automatically during gameplay!! 1. This pup is designed for 3 screen cabinet setups for people NOT using b2s's. There's too many clips to cram into 1 cabinet screen. These are ROM based pups. I've been wanting to do a near complete clip pull on the original star wars trilogy movies for a long time and figured why not do it right now. Most, prolly 70% of these clips took a LOT of frame and audio editing to get them worthy to put into a pup, which I expected before even tackling this project. I wanted to have a complete set of original trilogy clips for the future tho for whatever craziness the future holds, which is what started me on this project. This pup will work with any table using the corresponding ROM's. (swtril43 or stwr_107 ROM) This will/can be modifiable for any future star wars tables creators make, i wanted a near complete set of good clips that could work for any future star wars tables if using movie clips for triggers. Greetings my fellow tycoons! Thank you for learning to read!! Planet Coaster 2 comes out November 6th, 2024 for PC and consoles. All credit goes to @VPinWorkshop, @Dr.Nobody , @SERGIOSOUZA, @Kongedam, @capnclaw, @Cliffy!!!! _________ Important _______________ 1. Remove any Rollercoaster clips you do not want to use by deleting them from the "Rollercoaster" folder to save drive space if that is a concern for you. This pup was originally 10 GB before final cuts. 2. Mini-Pup is powered by pupevent which means use VPX Remix system for the .dif conversion, no changes other than adding pupevent. Did heavy testing for pupcapture functionality for this table, its still not working so no meaningful triggers. It's eyecandy only , which I am ok with. I tried. 3. Add any attract you want to the "Attract Randomizer" folder, it will select randomly. 4. Music Folder can be expanded upon or edited. Selects randomly. Make sure to click the "normalize audio.bat" file to get any music you add in sync with the other media volume levels. (same with adding new clips, convert to 1080p then normalize audio).... leaving those tools in their proper locations for this pup since its highly customizable. These are the only music tracks i enjoyed from the actual video game. 5. If you use altsound or ROM sound and do not want the pup controlled music, just select a pupoption labeled with "music OFF" ______________________________________________________ Let me start out by saying I supremely love this amazing table. From day 1 this table released I have never used the ROM music, (never even had the desire to turn on and test the ROM music, altmusic or sound) ... i absolutely love the mechanical sounds, flawless physics, realism, flow and fun of this table in its rawest form. The 1st minute I played it I knew I would have to eventually do a pup for it, it is a great theme and I wanted to make a pup with a lot of eyecandy to make it just awesome to look at and play. I play a lot of video games from this genre. After spending hours collecting the music, right media for callouts and making text callouts, I tested the pupcapture for the 1st time and realized the pupcapture doesn't work AT ALL for this table for some unknown reason..... bummed me out because all the time I spent finding callouts and making texts was wasted. For this reason I can't really call this a true pup pack, its a completely downsizeable and customizable MINI pup for the table now. Bummed me out a lot when I found out pupcapture doesn't work, I almost didn't bother releasing it at all for this reason but I think someone will enjoy my vision for it. Thanks to @PIPAllah for looking for a reason why the pupcapture wont work, thank you for the effort bro. If i can find any pupevent coding spots for any of those callouts in the Topper Callouts folder, they can be added be added through pupevent only if I can get someone to help me find spots for them. it is quite the chore..... pupevent will be the ONLY option for updates on this mini-pup. ______________________________________________________ Major Thanks to @VPinWorkshop for this masterpiece of a table. Do Not however leave this folder EMPTY or you will have no attract on gameover. If you add your own videos to this attract folder go into pupeditor and "select" the video on the line with the descriptions "insert your new attracts here", and enable the trigger. I'd love to know if someone finds some really cool upgrade attracts. I wanted to redo the top topper of the pup backglass before releasing this (to be animated)....I'm itching to start the next project tho...... perhaps a VPU community member could create and upload a new one for people to download and swap out. (Or other toppers!!!!) I was very limited by the ROM for this table to make it exactly how I wanted. I suppose that's why no one made one yet! I'm a relative godzilla newb.... i just picked the craziest movies I loved most while not trying to mix up godzilla aesthics and looks "too much".... it's just my take on it! I'm down to improve this thing, just direct me.... keep in mind tho the rom kinda limits a lot.... i could NOT (which really hits deep) find an english dubbed source video for Godzilla Final Wars.... I wanted to go way deeper on the clips from that movie for the cheesy lines that are legendary. It can break the audio on some pups if they were set to the wrong volumes to begin with tho..... run normalize audio.bat on your PUPVideos folders individually. To take it one step further, normalize audio on any file before you even put it into your pinball folder. Same with 1080p nailbust on every single video in your popper!!!!!!!!! "Gonna take you back to the past!" New Version up, delete the old, I wanted to clean this up a little. Requires this table file with pupevent added, its the same table file from initial pup release, no changes. You can run this on a VPMAlias safely if you so choose to not conflict with other pups!
