“Aaaahhraaaaa!!”

This was a real team effort that spanned over a year. Special Force is an underappreciated, grubby, rowdy, 80’s war movie pin. Kinda feels like you got dropped into a bad version of Rambo (but in a good way!) We hope you enjoy.

I never played Special Force, or any other real pinball for that matter, but it reminds me of Operation Wolf for obvious reasons! The cry when an enemy dies, is also remarkably familiar, but I can't quite place it... maybe Golden Axe? Either way... VPW did another amazing job with this table. It looks so good with its lighting, reflections, and refraction, and it also plays as realistic as can get. So much so, that the right ramp is ridiculously hard to make... just like the real thing 😉 .

Get  to da chopppaaa!!  Now this table perfectly captures the vibes from the mid eighties action movies like Rambo, Commando and Predator.

A very fun table with some great sound effects. Be prepared for frogs croaking , bullets flying and rockets exploding. And yes there is a chopper too. In most pinball games, the outlines equals drain bonanza. In this one however,  the nudge comes in extra handy. More than once was I able to shake the ball back to the playfield. Very happy that VPW gave this table a massive upgrade. So much explosive fun!

In my country the VHS rental stores usually had 3 or 4 pinball/arcade games in the back. I can only imagine the perfect mix of playing  Operation Wolf, then Special Force and to complete the evening, renting Rambo 2.  Somewhere in the world that hopefully happened:)

Fantastic table, pure Pinball-Bliss experience on single desktop 86" tv (couch mode). VPW never disapoints and next level stuff as usual! Great B2S as well!

Let me start off by saying that I don't gravitate towards earlier (pre 90s) tables very often, but I'm sure glad I gave this one a try. It is a lot of fun to play and the VR environment is great as well. I love the ability to hit those knockdown targets with rockets along with hearing crickets in the background while you play.

The sounds and the VR environment make you feel like you are in a jungle and reminds me of Rambo: First Blood Part 2 (my favorite of the Rambo series BTW). Reminds me of the old days of watching these movies with my dad growing up. Good times for sure.

Table looks and plays great, which is no surprise from a VPW release. Looking forward to spending some quality time with this one. A big thanks to everyone involved.

Somehow, I've never encountered or heard of this table, but having now played it, I think it's a perfect reflection of its era. It's so weird to me how America's use of Vietnam iconography changed so completely in the 1980s, but this table is a really interesting moment. The flow of the table is surprisingly fun, and the overall execution of it by VPW is just incredible. In VR, it feels completely real. Thank you once again for all you do, VPW.

I love it! It's so quiet, frogs croaking, the rolling of a lone steel ball on gentle trek on a plywood plank. And then all HELL breaks out! Bullets flying, bombs exploding, men screaming, pandemonium!! It's fantastic fun!.  Another great build from the team that apparently never sleeps!  Thanks for all the awesome fun Team VPW!!!!!!!!

I didn't think much about this table's theme, seemed like a generic table but after playing it for a bit, I've grown to appreciate it. Another Bally classic, and leave it to VPW to do it justice. Obtaining those bombs and doing a helo bombing run on the enemy camp is so satisfying, haha. Fantastic job as usual everyone! Doing the vpin community proud :)

Another masterpiece from the VPW team. Love these simpler tables + the day/night adjustment in the F12 menu! Wish I had the skills to help out instead of just picking out imperfections! Already looking forward to the next one, thanks for this gem 👍

What a pleasant surprise, it's always nice when a table comes out with all the toys that you have never heard of and can experience for the first time. Such is the case for me with Special Force. Table looks and plays awesome and standing in a jungle while playing in VR is one heck of an atmosphere. Thanks to all once again!

I want everyone to look at how cool the helicopter is on this table.

What's so cool about it? It's just a piece of plastic with a decal, not even a toy.

Well, when you shoot the ball up there, it plays a sound effect. The lights flash to the rhythm of the sound and the score keeps ticking up, meanwhile the ball is spinning as it goes down the drain.

What a simple yet awesome way to mimic the motion of a helicopter's rotor blades.

And sometimes one of the bumpers will start clacking and flashing like a machine gun.
