  1. Gigi (Gottlieb 1963) 1.3.1 Hybrid DT-FS-VR

A classic pairing of Wayne Neyens and Roy Parker brings us Gigi, a deceptively cute yet challenging pinball. A product of its time featuring Marilyn Monroe and some “hillbilly” humor makes one wonder the direction they really intended.

The rules are simple. From the IPDB:

@EMUnderdogs has labored for months (in their spare time of course!) to bring this table to a more accurate representation than has ever been previously released. @Silversurfer painstakingly recreated the backglass, playfield and plastics in vectors which gave the rest of us a perfect platform to build upon. All elements scaled properly to the blueprint and nfozzy physics materials applied. EM sounds updated and lighting and shadows tweaked to near perfection.

Take Gigi out for a spin and keep in mind that this has a manual ball lifter (right magna or 1 key).

There is an option menu by holding the left flipper a few seconds that lets you change to automatic ball lift instead as well as several scoring options. There are also desktop scoring or b2s backdrops available by changing in the editor/toggle backglass view / DT Image dropdown.
Now with VR added by @DGrimmReaper!

    @Silversurfer and @hauntfreaks new backglass:

Thanks to @GordonJames for testing and providing valuable feedback, especially on lighting and shadows.

    Enjoy @EMUnderdogs Gigi!

  2. Green Pastures Gottlieb 1954

This is Pbecker1946's table from Rogue Pinball, converted to VPX. I used 10.8.0 to convert it. As always, Phil made the desktop table, and I converted it to 2 screen. Phil gets credit for making the table, scripting and artwork, and I only did the conversion. Included are the table, backglass, wheel, flyer, an IPDB pic of the real table, and Phil's commentary when he made the table. Phil's tables are always free to improve or upgrade. I know he bought the schematics to do these tables. Thanks to JP for helping me with a couple issues. Use the A key (keycode 30) to load the ball in the plungerlane.

  3. Game of Thrones LE (Stern 2015) VPW

"When you play the Game of Thrones, you win or you die"

Welcome to VPW's "Original" recreation of one of Stern's most complex machines.

This project started with Skillman wanting to learn VPX and playing around reverse engineering the Stern SPIKE ROMs. Thanks to the detailed Youtube series by ChuckWurt the complete ruleset was documented, allowing it to be implemented in VBScript for this release.

When the beta table was introduced to the VPW team they really took an interest in taking it to the next level, and what you see is the result of nearly a year of their work.

This table requires VPX 10.8.0 Final or later and FlexDMD 1.9.1 or later.

    Controls:
Use Right Magnasave during gameplay as the Action button Access the DMD Options menu with left+right magnasave during Attract mode or press F12 to access options in the Tweak menu instead. From the Options menu, change cabinet mode, LUTs, and presence of a "real" lockbar button Access the Stern Service Menu with the service buttons to adjust standard game settings

  9. Gridiron (Gottlieb 1977) NFL Mod

Here is my NFL Mod of Loserman76’s Gridiron from Gottlieb 1977.  Like my NHL mod of Ice Fever, you can change teams on both sides by holding down left (home) or right (away) magnasave to change teams with the flippers.  This table does not use the launch button.  The right flipper launches the ball.  In the original spirit of Jeff’s recreation, I modeled the uniforms loosely by what was worn in the 1977 season.  Also, I organized them by the 1977 divisions going West/Central/East in both conferences. I thought about adding options for modern teams and logos, but it just didn’t make sense to use modern team logos on such an old game. This puts Seattle in the AFC again and Tampa in the good old NFC Central!

In the script, you can activate an option in the single player game to auto generate points for the away team every time a home ball is launched.  It adds scores based loosely on your play history, so as you get better, so will your AI opponent.

I added three uniform options in the script as well.
WASHINGTON – my beloved home team with the controversial name.  The original is the default value, but you can switch to the 2020 retro mascot free uniforms if you prefer your pinball with less controversy.
CINCINNATI – The look of NFL teams was practically unchanged from the early seventies to the early nineties when the patriots used their radical redesign.  The lone exception was the Bengals who had horrible helmets in 1977. I added an option for the 1981 tiger striped helmet.
PITTSBURGH – There is a large head in the middle of the playfield who nicely shows off the team logo.  Unfortunately for Pittsburgh, this is the plain black side without the steel logo on it. I created a variant that turns the player’s head to the right showing the logo.

Thanks to Wildman for the original backglass. I had to shrink it, twist it and bend it to my will to allow the team changes, so if anything is broken or ugly, that is entirely my doing.

I included a wheel image, but do not know the original author to credit them.  The only thing I altered was adding a 1971 NFL logo over it.

Xenonph’s NFL tables were the main inspiration for this and my Ice Fever Mod project, and I still believe they’re the best argument for the superiority of Virtual pinball over real life. I learned and borrowed much from the script to make the playfield changes possible.

From Loserman76’s post: Original conversion of Pinuck's VP9 table by Scottacus which was used as guidance for his complete rebuild.

The backglass mechanics I had to figure out the hard way with much trial and error.  The DOF commands were playing havoc with my backglass. I made many adjustments and hope I didn’t break anything. Just keep in mind, if you have to adjust, any new DOF targets between 100-181 will most likely mess up the backglass.

  14. Gnome Slayer: Yuki (Anthias, Original, 2024, B2S FS, SS)

    Anthias original theme

Desktop displays can be enabled in script but are just text. For the full dmd, you need to use the B2S files. Two are included, a 2 screen and a 3 screen for full dmd users. The 3 screen is provided untested and as is. If it doesn't work please advise, as I am not equipped to test three screen rigs. I do not have DOF, additional LEDs or solenoids. If you want to mod for their use, go for it, mods are permitted on all my tables.

Gnome Slayer: Yuki uses original artwork, music and sounds. It is not a licensed theme or existing IP, any similarity to existing IP is coincidental. This is an original table, not a recreation. Before anybody asks, I will not be producing loading videos or pups. I am not a film studio, I'm just a bloke using his own work. As there is no movie or tv show etc in existence, there is no material for a PUP pack.

Gnome Slayer: Yuki - the concept, characters etc remain property of M. Mortimer and are not to be exploited outside of this table. The book will be written at some point in the future.

    The story:
Tokyo, 2135. Yuki Katugo exists in the mystical underbelly of the city, a world of spirits, gods and mythical creatures. This world's interactions with the human world are largely controlled by the malevolent entities known as the gnomes. The manipulate and interfeer in human affairs for wealth, power, or perhaps mere sport. When they chose to embark on a series of sabotage acts against the factories of Kaguto Motor Co, the end result, at the culmination of their campaign, was the death of Yuki's father along with hundred of his workers in a factory explosion that would destroy the company and bankrupt the family. Destitute on the streets of tokyo, Yuki's mother, unable to return to her family in Melbourne, lost her life to the bitter winter in a seedy back lane, leaving Yuki, at 13, lost and alone on the streets of the city. THe child was taken in by a Yakuza family, who on seeing the fire in her, and her grim determination for vengeance, trained her as an assassin. In her mid 20s' with the utter annialation of a competing syndicate repaying her debt to the Yakuza family, she was granted freedom from that life, along with the truth of the gnome's involvement in her family's demise, and the secret of access to that hidden underworld of the mystical. Now, she seeks out the precise gnomes responsible, and soon, she will have her revenge. Yuki is soon feared among all of the hidden world, and she is known there as, Gnome Slayer.

built from my old vp8 template script with modern improvements.

    Uses some script borrowed from:
JPSalas for physics, flippers, ball sounds
    Ichigo B2S snippets

Both these guys are absolute legends.

    Game rules:

TOP LANES: Completing lanes steps up the Bonus Multiplier to 2x, 3x, 4x & 5x. etc. You can rack up more times than the lights, they all flash when you exceed 5x.

GNOMES:light all gnomes by hitting each of the targets and receive the value of all gnomes lit  EG if you have lit the first three you will recieve 50k, 100k and 150k for a total of 200k. The bombs in the left collumn are lit by hitting the kicker near the left in lane. They are each 50k more than the light before them. So if you light them all you get 50k+100k+150K+200k+250k+300K.

:left loop lane shot spots a light shown on the displays and back panel.lighting all then shooting the ramps again increases the table multiplier by 1. ALL scoring is multiplied by this figure, (5x maximum, at 5 the three X lights will flash.) so after the first time completing it, scoring is doubled, second time tripled etc.

Drop the drop targets to set the target set light flashing, drop again to activate HUNT MODE. HUNT MODE lasts one minute and DOUBLES all points on the table!

Complete the centre target bank targets to light right hand gnome lights. When all are lit, a final hit of the four targets lights the shot to the right of the playfield. Hit that to light the kicker  on left, hit that to activate the diverter to access the depot and kill a den of gnomess. Then shooting the top kicker activates a 4 ball multiball mode. During any multiball, scoring doubles.

SLAYER MULTI-BALL:  Lock 2 balls in the ramp locks to enable the multiball feature. Shooting lane to left of the playfield releases the locked balls.  During any multiball, scoring doubles.

LOOP SHOTS: Hit left or right ramp to light loop shots. Hit them again for doubled points, growing exponentially until the loop time expires.

Skillshot: Shoot left kicker from plunger for 15k skillshot

hitting SLAY targets activates ramps for an additional 5k for a brief time.

  16. Gundam Wing

A couple of years ago I uploaded a Gundam Wing table on vpforums. This is 2.0 for that game.
Completely redesigned the game based off of Swamp Thing from LTek. New gameplay, nfozzy, VR and PUP included.
I decided to remake the old Gundam Wing table since Swamp Thing added nfozzy physics to Serious Sam II. This is completely different than the table I uploaded a couple of years ago. Several of the elements from Serious Sam II have been re-arranged so you get a different gameplay experience. You can toggle VR in the script. I tested with desktop, cabinet and VR mode so this should work for everyone. PUP and wheel are included. A b2s is included but I recommend using the pup pack.

    Rules:
     - 3 Balls Per Player
     - Multiball on every 3rd battle win
     - Shoot glowing Wing Gundam to start a battle
     - Shoot Epyon for a random reward
CAREFUL.... the targets have been moved around and switched from Serious Sam!!

    BASIC SCORING

.    - Jackpots... start at 100,000 and can increase with other scoring hits
.    - Captive Ball... hits increase Jackpot value 50,000 when Increase Jackpot is lit

  18. Godzilla (Sega 1998) VPW

"The Meanest, Greenest Game on the Street"

The Godzilla pinball machine was released in August 1998 by SEGA. The game is based on the Godzilla movie released earlier that year by TriStar Pictures.  Godzilla was the last pinball machine manufactured by SEGA before shutting down their pinball operations.

This virtual project started out with incredibly detailed specifications of the physical and visual dimensions of the SEGA machine from EBisLit.  Of course, who can turn those specifications into gold?  Mr. Sixtoe himself, the grandmaster of blueprints, schematics and more.

Next some initial scripting / foundation objects were added by TastyWasps and Apophis which leads into the STUNNING blender toolkit 3D renders from Tomate which highlights the massive Godzilla sculpt in this table that may be one of the largest sculpts ever made in pinball history.

The tail end of the project (no pun intended) consists of laborious detail into each aspect of the machine to play as close to the real thing as possible with help from EBisLit's experience and other play testers' input.
The collaboration of so many passionate authors, creators, scripters, artists, testers, etc. have truly made this project come to life in the digital medium.

  20. Guns N' Roses VPW Edition

"Of all the VPW tables in the world, this is definitely one of them!"

VPW are proud to present our 50th Machine!

This project started when HiRez brought a fantastic collection of artwork into the workshop that he'd done for the table in January 2022. Sixtoe had previously converted an older version to VR and was aware of number issues with existing mods that would need a lot of work, and said it's probably be best to start from scratch but didn't have the time and the project went on hold.

Fast forward to July 2022 and Niwak was looking for a machine that had coloured ramps (among other things) to experiment on with the then prototype toolkit, so Sixtoe scratch built the table whilst niwak built the table in blender. The table was then worked on intermittently as toolkit experiments took place over the next year.

Whilst this happened MrGrynch had been working on a new vastly improved version of AltSound called G-Sound (which has now been included in VPinMAME 3.6) and iDigStuff made a fantastic new G-Sound module for Guns N' Roses so we wanted these to launch at the same time and now here we are!

Thanks for all your support over the past 3 years and all the nice comments, we hope you enjoy this latest release!

  21. Get Smart (Original)

*** Major Update to include basic DOF support, pup pack and artwork *** see change log for details

Get Smart was a 60's TV Series that can still make me laugh today.

I was inspired to develop this original table by seeing what others have done with tables like TNA and UT CTF.

This table uses the AFM layout as the base as I like the mix or ramps/loops and the centre objective which I have re-purposed as Control HQ.

No ROM needed and the game was principally designed for use in VR but has the elements to work in desktop and cabinet (amend in script).

I have coded all the different game modes with some more obvious than others. I have used the advantage that this is virtual to create the Target Practice and Shoot Siegfried game modes. Try the skillshot 😉 The animation is inspired by the Lord of the Rings pinball

I have tried to recreate the ambience of a TV episode especially with the background audio and random callouts from iconic scenes. I hope this brings back memories for those familiar to the TV show and for those not, maybe encourage them to watch a show.

Game rules are on the table with some points to note:

The aim is to complete all tasks and challenges to start Agent Frenzy - a timed unlimited multiball to return agents to Control HQ.
I have introduced a new (I think) concept. Extra Life. Seeing games are free to play, the concept of buying a ball has been changed to earn the ability to buy a ball at the end of the game. This carries from game to game and the player has the choice to play the life or save it for another game. Extra life is earned during game play only and is not easy to earn. There is a small chance to get a random award in Carlsons lab.

I have borrowed table elements from many different sources so would like to thank everyone in the community for their contributions to virtual pinball. I would like to thank leojreimroc for testing the table and providing great suggestions including nudging me to make it desktop compatible. Thanks Rawd for all your tips and guidance on table creation along the way.

The invite/challenge is out there... if you can create some unique playfield artwork and/or plastics that would suit the game (rather than my mugs attempt at amending the AFM artwork), I will work on a pup pack to bring some of the iconic scenes to the DMD. Game lights can be moved around or tweaked to suit a more interesting artwork design 😉

There are a large number or elements that make this game so if you find any bugs, please let me know so I can repair.
If you have any suggestions that would enhance the game play, I am all ears.

Set up in script for various game modes. Please note I don't have a cabinet so I cannot test the game fully in that mode. Apologies in advance if there are some bugs or added instructions required.

Once you change the script as you want, save and play. If you have played a game and change the mode of play, you will likely need to shut VPX completely and re-start (as the controller may be changed).

VR - Just set VRroom = 1 in script and everything else should sort itself out.

    Desktop users:
Set VRroom = 0 & desktopmode = 1. You will also need to set up the Backglass/POV to be in desktop mode

    FSS users:
    Set VRroom = 1 try inclination at 60, FOV 35, layback, XY rotation, X offset, Y offset = 0, Z offset = -700 and X, Y, Z scale at 1.

    Cabinet Users:
Set VRroom = 0 , desktopmode = 0 , b2son = 1, form1_off = 0. You will also need to set up the Backglass/POV to be in Fullscreen mode and uncheck "Test Desktop". Some I believe also have the general Video/Graphics set as "Use always FS backdrop settings". That should work I believe.
A directb2s is included in the zip file. Please let me know if there are any issues with it (as I don't have a cabinet to test all aspects of it)

Note, I have placed the DMD onto the bottom right instruction area for cabinet users (as I don't know how to put it on a directb2s or FlexDMD).

    Please enjoy

  22. Gigi (Gottlieb 1963)_Teisen_MOD

First I would like to thank Loserman76 for the beautiful work... wherever he is playing pinball!

small changes were made only aesthetically

small improvements in the playfield, plastics, lighting, flippers position...  I want to make it clear that the descriptions for the tables I'm sharing are "standard" for all, changes are made when there is a need for some adjustment.

version used, follow the link to the original table

B2s made by Wildman! Thank you for your work and collaboration

    Adjustments made:

    - Playfield touch-ups
    - cap bumpers
    - added primitive to the base of the bumpers and lighting
    - lighting
    - metals
    - screws
    - new pov
    - illumination of lost balls
    - new backdrop
    - other small touches

    Loserman Description:
    VPX conversion of Gigi
    thanks to GNance, Arngrim
others to thank: JPSalas, Pinuck, hauntfreaks, Borgdog
in addition to the "standard" keys (typically "1" to start game and "5" for coin), I've added "3" as another coin input and "4" for coin and auto-start game (like I recall the dime slots generally were) to simulate 3 coin slots

For the manual ball lift you can use either the start game button (typically "1") OR you can use the letter "A".
when game is not in progress, holding down left flipper for about 3-5 seconds will bring up the options menu. left flipper selects item, right flipper changes option.
I've also included shadows for the ball and flippers. If you want to turn them off look for these lines at the beginning of the script:
    Const ShadowFlippersOn = true
    Const ShadowBallOn = true
change to false if you want either of the shadows not showing on your tables

  23. Gilligan's Island (Bally 1991)

    Ahoy Skipper!

Gilligan's Island was released by Bally in 1991 with approximately 4,100 produced.  A campy theme with wide appeal and a very simple rule set that makes for a whole lot of fun.

The original Visual Pinball version of Gilligan's looked great from Dark and mfuegemann and rothbauerw further expanded on that version with vast physics improvements.  There were some other areas of improvement that needed to be addressed with some of the modern technologies offered by VPW libraries.  What you will find is a great looking and smoother playing version of this game that makes for a fun flip session!

Here are the improvements and pedigree of this table:

Based on the original Visual Pinball mod from Dark and mfuegemann (2016)
Further refined on rothbauerw physics and subway models
VR Room based on Arvid's standalone VR Room

    TastyWasps
    * nFozzy/Roth Physics, Fleep Sounds, TargetBouncer, VR Room
    * GI Lighting Improvements, Dynamic Ball Shadows, Multi-Ball Cradle Physics
    * Modulated Flashers, LUT Selector, Gameplay Balance
    * Physics - rothbauerw
    * Scripting Tweaks - apophis, Sixtoe
    * Playfield Upscale - redbone
    * VR Upscales / B2S Backglass - Hauntfreaks
    * VR Backglass - leojreimroc

  24. Gemini (Gottlieb) (1978) (BorgDog)(1.0)(VP10)

Found an image of a very dirty stripped playfield and decided to run with it, grunge, dirty, dark, rusty, broken yellowed plastics etc. thanks to hauntfreaks for dirtying it up some more.

db2s is also included. borrowed an options menu from loserman76 and gnance, open options before starting a game by pressing [, allows you to change number of balls and replay levels.

thanks to arngrim for the dof coding

Hi everyone, today I'm sharing the Guardians of the Galaxy Trilogy table. First of all, thanks again to JPSLAS.

game rules you have to reform the guardians of the galaxy over the three films on 12 missions and 3 more missions for the superheroes.

    table description.
