Due to system limitations searching with words of 3 or less characters will not return results. For instance; Doctor Who.  This will not return results as the system is trying to search for both Doctor AND Who in which Who will not be found as it's a 3 character word.  To find Doctor Who; you'd search for either Doctor or "Doctor Who".

    Search Tips:
For specific searches; enclose your search with quotes. Example: "Doctor Who" or "Addams Family".

v2.5a UPDATE: - - - - - - - - - - Due to popluar demand and requests - the backglass breaking effects has been added to the Original Backglass B2S as well. If you have already downloaded everything else, you ONLY need to re-download the 'Fog, The - Original Backglass 2.5a.zip' file. v2.5 UPDATE: - - - - - - - - - - This is a major update for The Fog (Gottlieb 1979) VPX table. NOTE: YOU MUST USE VISUAL PINBALL 10.7 TO PLAY THIS TABLE - 10.7 included features needed that were not in the previous version. You must update ALL the files, including the 'fog' music files folder and backglass. A ton of work went into not only improving the game / gameplay - but building in lots of cool extras. The table plays completely differently than before. 'Cabinet Users / Players' SHOULD DEFINITELY USE the new Special Collector's Edition Backglass - you won't be disappointed! Make sure you look at the top of the table script for setting the specific options. The table has already been configured for cabinet users especially - so you might need to change some options if you are a desktop player. I want to give a shout out to the VPW crew and Apophis who made some serious contributions to this table and was patient explaining things to me. Read the previous description (below) so you know how to set up things and use some of the great features now built into the table. Apophis Additions: - NEW - Playfield Mesh - NEW - nFozzy / Rothbauerw Physics and Flippers - NEW - Rothbauerw Drop Targets - NEW - Fog Animation Scripting HiRez00 Additions: - NEW Special Collector's Edition Backglass (THIS IS A MUST FOR CABINET USERS / PLAYERS) - NEW Included Video Backglass w/ Trailer .mp4 for Front-End System - Sound / Visual FX Enhancements - Graphics / Lighting Updates - Spelling Mistake Fixed on Original Backglass - More Intro Audio / Music Tracks Added - More Gameplay Audio / Music Tracks Added - More End Game Audio / Music Tracks Added - - - - - - - - - - - The late, great Loserman76 really helped me a lot with this table - so out of respect for his passing - I am uploading it here so more can enjoy it. - - - - - - - - - - - Fog, The (Gottlieb 1979) PLEASE READ - IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED: This VPX is a re-skin / re-theme of BorgDog's Space Walk (Gottlieb 1979) table. If Gottlieb had made this table back in the day ... this is what it SHOULD have looked like - with some extra modern features. A couple weeks ago, my wife an I had our weekly "date night" and decided to watch John Carpenter's original The Fog (1980) on Blu-Ray after not have seeing it for many years. I had forgotten how good a movie it is. In 1980 it was labelled as a gorey horror movie by critics, BUT, much like Halloween, there is practically no gore at all - and by today's standards - it is VERY tame in comparison. It is more of a creepy 'ghost story' than a 'horror movie'. The film relied on darkness, likable characters, story, and jump scares for it's driving force - and because visual pinball is a great platform to preserve a better / basic time of our lives ... I wanted to make a Fog pinball. Originally shot and slated for release in 1979 (which is why I chose a 1979 table to start with as a basis) the movies release date was pushed back several months into 1980 so the film makers could re-shoot / add some additional scenes and elements to compete with other 'horror' movies of the time. I decided to go with the very last EM table Gottlieb released as my basic starting point, keeping all the original basic integrity of an EM functionality - with some new bells and whistles - but not too much that would destroy / overwhelm the player. Kiss = Keep it simple, stupid. I wanted to start with a BASIC table with very simple rules and easy to play so you can actually enjoy the game. Call me old-fashioned. After being granted permission by BorgDog to use his original Space Walk table - I went through and redesigned all the artwork for the playfield, plastics, apron, backglass, etc. Because there are some 'bugs' with how a totally scripted table / b2s work - with the assistance of Loserman76's and Rascal's scripting knowledge - we went through and completely updated the script driven table, fixing some existing bugs, and improving on some functionality, added a load of features, updated SSF, and overall player experience. Because I am a 'cabinet' pinball user - I relied on Rascal to make sure everything worked properly for Desktop users as any cab user would as well. As I said, this was not just a re-skin / theme - this was a overhaul and update. TABLE ADDITIONS: - - - - - - - - - - New playfield, plastics, backglass, etc graphics. - Added 13 LUT Brightness / Contrast Adjustments that can be done during Gameplay. - Added Flipper Shadows that can be turned ON or OFF at the top of the table script. - Added Ball Shadows that can be turned ON or OFF at the top of the table script. - Added Score and Settings saving to the VPX Users folder as text file instead of Registry. - Fixed Desktop SSF and B2S when playing in Desktop Mode. - Added Alternate Flipper Color options that can be changed at the top of the table script. - Adjusted Hundreds of Playfield Parts, Lights and Options for smoother gameplay. - Enhanced GI Lighting. - Fixed Scoring and Player error. - Added Startup, Game Play, and Gave Over music / audio - Each able to be turned ON or OFF at the top of the table script. USING LUT OPTIONS (VERY IMPORTANT): - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - When you boot the table for the first time, the table might appear a lot brighter than it is intended. Hold down the LEFT MAGNASAVE and then press the RIGHT MAGNASAVE to cycle through the 13 LUT options. This bypasses the need of using the Day / Night slider. Depending on the resolution of your playfield monitor, everyones preferred LUT setting is different. When you cycle through the LUT options, when you select the one you prefer for your setup - it will automatically be saved when you exit / quit the table for the next time you play the table. You can adjust the LUT Option at any time when the table is loaded, even during gameplay. PLEASE NOTE: Pressing the LEFT MAGNASAVE will shut off the music as well. Simply press the RIGHT MAGNASAVE (without the LEFT MAGNASAVE pressed) to resume music playback. MUSIC OPTION: - - - - - - - - - - I opted NOT to use sound fx and dialog from the movie within the table itself, i.e.: hitting bumpers or slingshots, etc. I wanted to keep all the original EM sound fx and not overwhelm the gameplay. The addition of music and dialog to this table is done in the background ambient audio tracks to create a 'mood' and NOT a sound fx and music extravaganza. It successfully creates an overall tone for the table very well, especially if you dim your lights in the room and play practically in the dark. By default, the table is set up to play one of several random startup tracks, cycled Game Play tracks, and several random Game Over tracks. Instead of giving the option to turn ON or OFF all music, we split the options up at the top of the table script. You can adjust each type of music playback based on your preference. You can isolate and turn ON or OFF either the 3 options at the top of the script. If you want to temporarily turn off the music, press the LEFT MAGNASAVE and it will stop the CURRENT music track. You can then press the RIGHT MAGNASAVE (without the LEFT MAGNASAVE pressed) to resume music playback. During gameplay, and ONLY during gameplay, you can change the music track by pressing the RIGHT MAGNASAVE to switch to one of 6 music tracks. During actual gameplay is the only time this feature works. All music and audio has been properly balanced, equalized, and completely re-mixed so no audio 'interferes' with the sounds of the game itself. OPTIONS MENU: - - - - - - - - - - - - - When NOT in gameplay (i.e.: no ball in the plunger lane or game started) you can access the Game Options Menu by holding down the LEFT FLIPPER for 2 - 3 seconds. This allows you to change the number of balls, free play or coin play, high score visible setting, or Replay Score settings. INSTALLATION (VERY IMPORTANT): - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - The install is fairly standard and straight forward, except for 1 IMPORTANT thing, the Music folder for VPX. In order to avoid the growing 'mess' of a million .mp3 files in your Music folder, the additional audio / music files for this table NEED TO BE INSIDE a folder called 'fog'. This reduced adding to the clutter and global warming problem. So when you unzip the music / audio for this table, the directory structure should look like this when installed 'Visual Pinball / Music / fog'. You will get an error when you boot the table if the mp3 files are simply dumped into the Music folder. FINAL NOTES: - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Overall - the table turnout out exactly as I envisioned. The look, features, sound, music, graphics and gameplay are how "I" wanted it for my cab. This was all my preference, and may differ from your tastes of preferences, which is one of the reasons why I included multiple options. This was also a HUGE learning experience for me. I have never really touched scripting prior and only concentrated on the graphics for tables I was a part of making. I started with an EM table because I 'thought' it would be an easier learning curve. I was wrong, because EVERYTHING is driven from the script and not reliant on a ROM to do the calculations and workload. Even though I had some help with Rascal and advice from Loserman76 (the EM guru) on some more complex things I wanted to add / change with the table, I am very proud how it turned out and now have a lot more confidence in myself to make MORE tables of this calibre in the future. "Rascal who? Crank Caller, Crank Caller! Just kidding." - Inside joke. FILES INCLUDED: - - - - - - - - - - - - - - I have included enough extra materials / goodies as a complete package to fill out every screen of your cab (if you are playing in a cab), with 2 wheels styles for PinballX and Popper front ends, RealColorDMD and Toppers or Over / Unders for LCD screens, Video Backglass for your front end (PinballX users should use the additional mp3 file as 'Table Audio' for backglass video), and some other things. 6. Hello everyone! I have a performance issue with DOF; puzzling me for quite some time. I got DOF R3++ running and everything works but the output is jerky/slow/stuttering. DOF sends data to my 2 output controllers which I have installed: pinscape and teensystrip (teensy 4.0). When running any table in vpx (used a couple of releases, now on 10.7.4) all my output is jerky. I only have some led-buttons (pinscape) and some ws2812b ledstrips (teensy 4.0) installed. The input devices on the pinscape controller work instantly; no lag at all. Flipper and plunger input is working great without delay. More complex led strip effects are jerky or just partially shown. I only have this problem when the table is actually running. When I press Escape in vpx when the table is running, then the last output that the B2S backglass server sent to DOF shows nicely. Could this be caused by the B2S Backglass server triggering to much data to DOF during gameplay? The start-button and launch-button for example do blink but in most tables, especially rom-based ones, the led-button does not go completely out. But when I press Escape in vpx when playing (freezing the playfield), the led-button blinks nicely. When I use a DOF tester to activate the led effects and led-buttons individually, everything works fine; also the most complex led strip effects. The DOF tester uses the same config-folder as during gameplay. If anyone would be so kind to help me out or has some ideas what could be causing this. Could it be that the B2S backglass server sends too much data simultaneously at some point causing DOF to trigger too many effects simultaneously to each output device without any delay? Or am I missing a setting I need to tweak in one of the configuration files? I am currently using B2S backglass server 2.0 and vpinmame 3.6; but also with earlier versions i had this performance issue. A good table example in my case is Docter Who. Testing all output individually with the DOF tester works great when testing the rom. But during gameplay the output devices do not perform well. When i use a non rom-based table like Batman66 I don't notice any problems. All output, like the matrix leds in the back of my cabinet show instantly. The B-A-T-M-A-N letters displayed on the matrix led syncronize exactly with the intro song. If anyone has had similar issues please let me know.

B2S ScreenResIdentifier can be used to help setup your B2S Screen Resolutions and screen setup. What Stefan Wuehr ('Herweh') started in 2012 continues here. Full documentation is available in the Wiki at https://github.com/vpinball/b2s-backglass/wiki This is a separate download, but is also part of the B2S Server, if you have already you can ignore downloading this. Usage: Simple to use. Double click the B2S_ScreenResIdentifier.exe to edit ScreenRes.txt or "drop" any TableName.res file on the B2S_ScreenResIdentifier.exe to edit it. Move screens around as indicated on each window and once happy click save and a ScreenRes.txt for TableName.res file is created/updated in the same location. B2S ScreenResIdentifier reads out the current resolution and scaling of your screen and in case your scaling isn't set to 100% it will turn red. (see screenshot) The newer versions of B2S Server supports comment lines in the ScreenRes files. Lines starting with "#" is ignored when reading the ScreenRes.txt or TableName.res files. Now possible to do like this: # Playfield Screen resolution width/height 800 600 # Backglass Screen resolution width/height 800 600 ... If any of your tools do not support them you can ask friendly if someone can update them (PinballX is already updated) or use B2S_ScreenResIdentifier.exe to save without comments (using the checkbox).

This American Country Pinball table is a re-skin of AC/DC LUCI (Stern 2013) VPinWorkshop version 1.1. Original table by Stern Pinball. I chose the AC/DC table for my Country Music mod for many reasons. I love the gameplay but sometimes I’m not in the mood for hard AC/DC music. Overall, I've tried to relax the game with country music and related sound effects while keeping the intense gameplay dynamics. I replaced the comical “abusive” AC/DC voice prompts with AI generated Johnny Cash voices. The toys map well to country music themes: Hells Bells to Liberty Bell, train to pickup truck, cannon to gun and so on. In the minigame the metaphor is you fight for freedom instead of against the devil. Instead of a Jukebox, there’s a Playlist with selected songs arranged as twelve different tags that span the themes found in Country Music. As a bonus I provide instructions to replace the Playlist with your own favorite songs. FOR PERSONAL USE ONLY AND NOT FOR COMMERCIAL SALE OR DISTRIBUTION. I extend many thanks to all who have worked on the precursors and components built into this table, including: ninuzzu, Sixtoe, hauntfreaks, Fluffhead35, nfuzzy, Apophis, Tomate, Retro27, Schlabber34, javier, DJRobX, dark, tom tower, knorr, rysr, Peter J, RustyCardores, the VPDevTeam, and more! See the included README file for more credits and attributions. Download Includes: American Country.vpx (VPX 10.7+) American Country full dmd.directb2s acd_170.zip - custom ROM acd_170.cRZ - altcolor Serum colorization file American Country Wheel.png - Frontend wheel image file American Country README.pdf - see for more details Custom ROM NOTE, you must use my custom version of acd_170.zip ROM Beta Users: If you installed a preview version of this table that used acd_170hc rom, note that i changed it to acd_170, to avoid conflicts with people’s existing installations of AC/DC. The American Country VPX pinball game requires a custom version of the acd_170h ROM named to acd_170.zip. This is NOT the same as the acd_170 rom you might find elsewhere, I’m just repurposing the file name. The custom ROM includes sound effects, voices, and music clips. Legally you should get the original Stern ROM and modify it yourself, although I’ve provided a pre-made one (for your reference only 😉) in the downloads. See the CUSTOM ROM readme file for details and instructions. Why a Custom ROM? Typically, VPinMAME lets you replace ROM sounds using altsound. I was not able to get this to work with this Stern ROM (and from my research it may not be possible with the current version of VPinMAME), so instead I have written my sounds directly into the ROM file. (If I am wrong and you know a way to use altsound with this ROM please reach out to me and I’ll redo this!). Thus, I’m using the acd_170 ROM name. Enjoy!

  15. View File American Country VPX This American Country Pinball table is a re-skin of AC/DC LUCI (Stern 2013) VPinWorkshop version 1.1. Enjoy! I enjoy this table, but there isn't a good quality backglass image anywhere, and it was also during the time period Gottlieb started trying out new backglass designs and moved the DMD area ABOVE the backglass, which always looked odd to me ... so I created my own new backglass. B2S has a turn ON feature as the initial animation at startup - and remains ON during gameplay. Also included are 500px and 1000px wheels using the same image design. - - - - - - - - - - Don't be a leech and just download the files ... leave a comment or at least hit the LIKE button if you download it and like it! 17. It is time for another update for the B2S Designer: the WYSIWYG application to create 'directB2S' backglasses. Version 2.0.0 includes ONE important update: Closed EM credit reel: numbers 10 to 16 not saved, when exporting the directb2s file, only credit reel 0-9 was exported. Thanks to tweety231323, @hauntfreaks, @Wildman and @Cliffy we solved this problem so quick. Jaws (Original 2018) Alternate Animated Backglass B2S+Wheels This is a 2 screen + 3 Screen (with grill) new alternate backglass I made for the VPX version of the Jaws table. Since there is also a Pinball FX Jaws table - I wanted to make a different version for the VPX table. This backglass is cobbled together from numerous movie poster images and a lot of custom art - so it can be considered 'orignal'. You cannot use the B2S file if you are using the pup pack for this table ... but, if you want to display this backglass in your front end ONLY and still use the pup back backglass for actual gameplay, use the included video file or PNG image file for your front end - that it will then turn off once you load the table for the pup pack. If you are not using the pup pack - rename this directB2S file to the same exact name as the table in the 'Tables' folder. You can turn off the 'Grill' by RIGHT-CLICKING on the backglass when loaded and set 'Grill' to Hidden, Save, and then restart the table. Turn ON feature animation when the backglass first loads. Also included are 2 wheel images. - - - - - - - - - - Don't be a leech and just download the files ... leave a comment or at least hit the LIKE button if you download it and like it! Backglass for the Beat the Clock (Bally 1985) table. Besides for the great backglasses that already exist that puts the player scores on the dmd, I could not find one that is closer to the original. On that note here is one that I tried to make as close to the original as possible. The lights are placed approximately where they should be. Game Over, Match, Tilt and High Score lights have also been added as snippets. Snippets have also been added for the Time Remaining lights for each player. However, after hours of searching I could not figure out the Rom IDs that would trigger them. They are there but will not be displayed. If anyone knows the Rom IDs for this rom “beatclck” then please let me know.

This file is a custom background meant to display behind the B2S backglass. The B2S backglass by @Wildman is not included but it can be found here. I. Purpose Most backglass art is meant to be displayed in a 4:3 aspect ratio, while most monitors are 16:9. I dislike stretching the backglass to fit my monitor, but didn't want mere black showing on the left and right. I began creating simple, custom backgrounds to thematically tie into the table while not being too visually distracting. The screenshot shows how the backglass now appears on one of my desktop monitors when the table is loaded. II. Package Included in the download: • A 1920x1080 background for this table's backglass • Instructions III. Instructions Everyone's setup is different, so these instructions are general. 1. Put the background .png file in the same folder as your table. I have all my tables in in one folder (C:\vPinball\VisualPinball\Tables\VP10\)and my background in a subfolder (C:\vPinball\VisualPinball\Tables\VP10\Backgrounds\). 2. Rename the file to something you find simple and helpful. All my background files are follow this convention: [tablename]-BG.png 3. If you don't have a .res B2S file already present for this table, then generate one. Follow these steps: • Double-click on the B2S file to launch it. When it opens, right-click on it to open the B2S option menu. At the bottom, click the button that says EDIT SCREEN RES. • The Screen-Res Editor will now open. In the lower left, make sure GENERATE COMMENTS is checked but ENHANCED RES FILE is unchecked. • Click SAVE SETTINGS. • A .res file was just generated. Close the Screen-Res Editor by clicking the X in the top right. 4. Open the .res file in a text editor such as Notepad Notepad++ (I prefer this because it has tabs & line numbers). 5. Copy the .res settings I included below and replace the ones in your file. 6. Changes to make: • Change line 10 to match whatever the number is of your display that shows the backglass. • Change line 29 to match your folder structure and name of the background file. 7. Start the table in VPX. Right-click on the backglass to get the B2S options window. Change BACKGROUND to VISIBLE. 8. Quit and re-launch the table. Your backglass should now show in a 4:3 aspect ration, with the background behind it. IV. Sample .res Settings Below are the my .res settings for this table. # This is a ScreenRes file for the B2SBackglassServer. # From release 1.3.1.1 comment lines like this starting with a '#' are supported. # Playfield Screen resolution width/height 1920 1080 # Backglass width/height 1920 1080 # Define Backglass screen using Display Devicename screen number (\\.\DISPLAY)x or screen coordinates (@x) or screen index (=x) 1 # Backglass x/y position relative to the upper left corner of the screen selected 0 0 # width/height of the B2S (or Full) DMD area 670 346 # x/y position of the B2S (or Full) DMD area - relative to the upper left corner of the backglass window 0 0 # Y-flip, flips the LED display upside down 0 # Background x/y position - relative to the backglass screen - has to be activated in the settings 250 0 # Background width/height 1420 1080 # path to the background image (C:\path\Frame) or black if none selected C:\vPinball\VisualPinball\Tables\VP10\Backgrounds\monopoly-BG.png # This line would turn off B2SWindowPunch if activated #B2SWindowPunch=off

Banzai Run (Williams 1988) Marquee Backglass Technically, Banzai Run did not have a backglass because the backglass area of this pin utilized a second playfield, so this is the marque re-sized to 16x9 and adjusted to server as a marquee / backglass. Lower grill area was added to keep the image 16x9 without distortion. Original marquee was lit with a single fluorescent light. Very clean 2k image scanned from the original marquee from the table. Also included an "ABC Sports" sounding .mp3 music track to use in your front end. - - - - - - - - - - Don't be a leech and just download the files ... leave a comment or at least hit the LIKE button if you download it and like it!
