  1. Pro Pool (Gottlieb 1973) 1.3.2

Another community VPX table originated by Loserman76 and then affectionately primped by the VPX community.

In addition to the original work done by Loserman76 and GNance, RajoJoey and teisen made changes to add VR support, touchup the plastics, lighting, bumpers, etc. (the complete list of changes is in the table script at the top of the file).

I have a cabinet with SSF (surround sound feedback) support and find many of the EM tables don't do SSF  justice. My changes bring in Fleep sounds and enhance the SSF support.

    - VR support
    - DOF support
    - SSF support
    - no ROM required (EM table)
    - backglass file by hauntfreaks included
    - saved with VPX 10.8.

  2. Pokemon slots

Hi all! Something different this time. I wanted to see if i could make a slotmachine in vpx.

For this slotmachine you need vpx 10.8 and the new backglasserver 2.1.0 i hadn't updated for a long time.

When i was young i played a-lot of pokemon and to get a polygon you had to gamble 9999 coins on the slot machines in the celadon gamecorner to own one.
I tried to rebuild that that feeling, hours of playing to get that pokemon. In this version you only can earn credits. maybe in a later version it will be more 3d and earn prizes. There is just so much what you can do in vpx.

A huge thanks to Oqqsan for helping with the scoreboard so the scoring credits work, also for the trouble shooting as always super appreciated.

How it works when the slot machine is loaded:
press start(1 on the keyboard for 50 credits)
with the right flipper you can select the lines(1/3)
with the left flipper you confirm the lines
the reels are spinning now good luck!
With the right flipper you can stop one roll(do this three times and see if you are lucky)
after a turn you will be back in the selecting menu to select your lines (TIP if you press just the left flipper after a round is over you select the same chosen lines)
After you are gameover, you have to press start again to play again.

As always there is a B2S and wheel in the package so everything is included, it doesn't need a rom.

How many credits do you win?

  3. Paragon (Bally 1979)

Just like with Lost World, iaakki picked up this old crusty Paragon build and revamped the physics, giving it a new lease on life. RothbauerW helped with drop target physics. Fleep sounds, dynamic ball shadows and VR room by TastyWasps based on a VR room by Rajo Joey. Upscales by redbone. Tested at VPW.

Visuals aren't as modernized as I'd like them to be, but it holds up ok.

  4. Pro Pool (Gottlieb 1973) (VR Room)_Teisen_MOD

First I would like to thank Loserman76 for the beautiful work... wherever he is playing pinball!

small changes were made only aesthetically

small improvements in the playfield, plastics, lighting, flippers position...  I want to make it clear that the descriptions for the tables I'm sharing are "standard" for all, changes are made when there is a need for some adjustment.

For this table I used the VR version that RajoJoey made for this table by Loserman76!

version used, follow the link to the original table

    Adjustments made:

    - Playfield color correction and touch-ups
    - Plastics color correction
    - bumpers
    - lighting
    - metals
    - screws
    - new pov
    - target adjustments
    - new top tabs
    - other small touches

    RajoJoey description:
    ***************
The table is made by the great Jeff Whitehead (Loserman76).
May he rest in peace. 😞 I hope, there are pinballs where you are, Jeff.
I would like to thank Jeff, for allowing me, to convert his tables to VR.

    Info
It is a hybrid table. So you can play in VR, desktop or cabinet mode, but you need the external backglass.
There is no need to change the script. A VR headset is automatically detected.

    I added the following things:
VR room, artwork for cabinet, backbox and flyer, animations for buttons and plungers, LUT files (change with magnasave buttons).

    '*        Table build/scripted by Loserman76
    '*        Image redraws/touchups/fixes by GNance
'*        Original images by Mike Farmer
'*        VR update by Rajo Joey

Works in 10.7.2, but best to play in VPinball_GL 10.8: https://github.com/v...ws/vpinball.yml

    ***********************************************
These are quick conversions, as I don't like playing in a dark room and don't want to spend more days or weeks to convert a table.
If you want to do your own conversions, I wrote two tutorials for EM tables like Loserman76's and make templates of the tables, pictures and materials.
Also there are some .psd files, to change the artwork in an easy way for example.
In the template tables there are generic artwork for the cabinet and the backbox. Some people may be happy with that and don't need the real artwork.
There is a short tutorial for people, who know the editor and a longer one for newbies. Both instructions are in English and German.

  5. Phantom of the Opera (Data East 1990)

I am the Phantom of the Opera!

This artistic gem was released in 1990 by Data East with Joe Kaminkow and Ed Cebula on design and Paul Faris' beautiful artwork.

The virtual version of this table has went through a few iterations with the original from 32assassin (2019) and further playfield mesh and subway refinements from DCrosby.

A striking VR Room based on a 19th century French outdoor theater by Cirque had to be included to bring the ambience to the next level on this table.

The baseline was there for a great re-master with all of the current VPW and VPX libraries that make the game play and visuals even better.

The following improvements have been made with a thank you to all the original authors and anyone who helped:

    * nFozzy/Roth Physics, Fleep Sounds, VR Room - TastyWasps
    * Dynamic Ball Shadows, Multi-Ball Cradle Physics - TastyWasps
    * Flupper Domes, LUT Selector, Gameplay Balance - TastyWasps
    * Graphics / B2S - Hauntfreaks
    * VR Backglass - TastyWasps/Hauntfreaks/leojreimroc
    * Playfield Upscale - redbone
    * Sound Check - MrGrynch
    * Testing - VPW Team

Remember, if you hear an organ playing, it might be the Phantom...

  6. Putin Vodka Mania

    Hello comrade!

With all the things going on about the war i decided to make a new pinball table: "Putin vodka mania" It's a parodie on the old sovjet time.

first of all my round of thanks:
    DonkeyKlonk: for the russian callouts
Tomato: for making the matryoshka doll's texture
Oqqsan: for helping with the spinning bottle
    Apophis: for checking the Vuks
    joe picasso:for the second wheel
    Retrog33k: for the wheel code
testers:joe picasso, Smaug, chugalaefoo(autoplunger idea),bennaboo,Wylte(idea for adding extra sounds and to play with the wheel settings), PinStratsDan for giving feedback after the release.

This is an original table, with everything included in the vpx file, and it doesn't need any external program to run. It can be run in desktop mode and in FS mode. The DMD will rotate accordingly.

    About the gameplay:
So i combined old EM point's and sounds mixed in a new format, so it will have both of best worlds old sounds and new sounds. The scoring is low like EM tables only by getting multipliers and a higher KGB rank you will boost up your score really fast.
The main purpose is to defeat all the old leaders to get a shot on defeating Putin:
Rasputin - shoot 4 times in the Saint Basil and he will appear, shoot Rasputin 3 times to complete the mode
Lenin - Shoot 3 times in the Gazprom Lenin pipeline to start, shoot 3 more times to complete the mode
Stalin - Stalin is following the ball in his tank, shoot the drop target and in the bunker to start the mode, then hit 3 times under the bunker to complete the mode
Gorbatsjov - after shooting 6 times in the Saint Basil and you have to steal his nobel price 3 times to complete the mode
Jeltsin - Have a drink with Jeltsin, after starting shoot 3 times in the left vuk to complete the mode

After completing the 5 bosses the last boss appears on the screen: Putin.
Shoot the Gazprom Lenin pipeline and shoot the ball in the lane where the green light is active. Putin will appear on the playfield and you have to hit him. Do this 3 times to complete the table.

    Other modes:
Spying - shoot the lane with the satellite dish and you will start spying a continent. shoot that lane again to complete it. every continent will be harder to get because you have to shoot that lane more often.
    D-A - hit the upper in/out lanes
    C-Y-K-A - hit/out lanes below
Multiball - shoot 4 times in the old upper old barn to get multiball
C-O-M-R-A-D-E - shoot the drop targets to activate the matryoshka animation and as bonus hit the matryoshka robot spiders for extra points
B-E-A-R - Shoot the bear 4 times after it starts, a bear will appear on the table, you will have to fight that bear.
Mutliplier - shoot the Saint Basil a couple of times to get multiplier mode, shoot the hearths to get a multiplier.
KGB level - shoot K-G-B for a additional multiplier
Ruble Jackpot - shoot the 5 buttons on the table for a jackpot
ammunition - your slings have only 20 bullets, after using the 20 bullets you have to get 2 new magazines for your AK again to be able to fire your AK again.

Putting is spinning like crazy, he's getting pumped up, do you have the balls to defeat him?

  11. Police Force (Williams 1989) VPW

“573… Be on the lookout. We’ve got a new VPW release on the loose.”

This one has been a looong time coming. A few years ago, gtxjoe stripped this mod of a mod down, added fleep sounds and nfozzy physics, dialed in the ramp—basically did all the VPX specific stuff with a special precision and flare only a VPX O.G. long time veteran like gtxjoe could do. Then Benji went on a long hiatus, possibly never to return.

Was Police Force to be on-hold forever? That’s what it looked like. But then…

Enter Niwak, revolutionizing VPX into the next era. And after seeing what could be done with the new light-baking with Blender Toolkit, Benji had to come back and finish what he started. First, he had to learn Blender. Uh…okay. But that turned out to be doable (with many tips from Tomate, Bord, Flux and more).

And with tons of help from this whole bang-up crew—this tool-kitted version of Police Force is finally out in the wild.

Special thanks to Jon Osborn who let Benji take apart, photograph, and measure a Police Force pin he was fixing up, which is what got this whole project moving forward.

    VPW SQUAD

Benji - table lead, toolkit lighting/rendering
Apophis - toolkit script-side integration, miscellaneous script magic - lieutenant programmer
GTXJoe - Initial table side development
Flux - LOTS of toolkit tech support and bug squashing while Benji learned the ropes
Tomate - Plastic Ramp modeling, lots of miscellaneous help and tips for Blender and Toolkit
Sixtoe - Table tweaks and improvements
BradX - Full playfield and plastics redraw
    TastyWasps - VR Room
Leojreimroc  - VR Backglass and fixes
    Niwak - Blender Magickit
    Flupper - Police car model

  12. Popeye Saves the Earth (Bally 1994)

    Welcome Aboard!

Popeye Saves the Earth was released by Bally in 1994.  The physical pinball machine is the last machine produced as part of the "SuperPin" line which incorporates a wide body design.

I noticed a post on a VPin Facebook group that mentioned the Popeye digital version could really use a remaster but people thought it might not get any attention.  I checked the current Visual Pinball offerings for Popeye and, indeed, the game looked beautiful but was in need of new physics / sounds / VR Room, etc. Game On!

The intention on this mod was the obvious upgrades to modern physics/sounds, etc. but I also wanted a bright, colorful and light-hearted digital version that captures the beautiful color scheme.

Additionally, there are some script options that can harness the black and white origins of early Popeye cartoons that can be turned on or off.  Sample images are below.  Brightness levels are also available via magna save buttons.

A big thank you to the previous authors listed on this file including mfuegemann (2014!), JPJ Team PP,  Psiomicron and anyone else that might have contributed to earlier versions of this title.  Please contact me if anyone was missed.

Also, a major thank you to the original Bally team who created this title back in the mid 90s.

The following improvements have been made to this version:

    * nFozzy Physics, Fleep Sounds, TargetBouncer, VR Room, Corrected Geometry for Table Sizing, Lighting Tweaks, Dynamic Ball Shadows, Multi-Ball Cradle Physics, Script Organization, Graphic Improvements, Dimmer Level (LUT) Selector, Gameplay Balance - TastyWasps
    * Playfield Element Upscales - MovieGuru
    * VR Upscales & Assets - Hauntfreaks, DGrimmReaper & Psiomicron
    * Incandescent Lighting Option - Hauntfreaks
    * Testing - VPW Team

Now, go eat some spinach and kick the s**t out of Bluto!

  13. Princess Bride - Table and Puppack

Princess Bride -- My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die...

This was a project I started several years ago when covid hit but l let go of and didn't really return to. It was based off the original orbital pin Clue table. I made a bunch of animated wheels but wanted to try making a table. I didn't want to simply do a reskin but found that I was (and still am) completely unqualified to make a table - both the art or the coding.  It is unfinished but with the pace vpins have been improving, I would never be able to produce anything close to the new quality tables that have been put out. So anyone out there, PLEASE feel free to take the table and make any improvements you would like. There are more problems than I can list. When I last saved the file we were on 7.01. Some of the images seem to have become pixelized once saving to .8. Thank  you to the original Clue table this is based on and Scotty Wic who's videos gave me inspiration. I'm sorry my coding and art skills let you down. -- Regardless, I still enjoy the table and love the movie. Thank you all. Please don't be to hard on this noob. At least my wheels were helpful to the community.

    Files included:
Pup pack files all belong in the folder - Princess Bride
    Princess Bride Pup pack

There is a text/doc file that includes the table rules though there may be some malfunctions.

    Adjustments made:
    - lighting and playfield lights
    - new cap bumpers
    - color adjustment of central posts (spinner)
    - metal side guides
    - new white plastic guides (upper PF)

Setup is like all of my tables - 3 & 5 insert coins. 4 is coin and auto-starts the game.
Since this one is a center shooter type table, the right flipper is used to launch the ball.
Uses VPX 10.5 - I'm not a fan of using betas for table releases

This release wouldn't be possible without the following:

Carlos Guizzo who provided the images of this unique table
Halen who did the redraws needed so this will work in VP

Like all of my releases, hold down the left flipper for 3 seconds when not playing a game to set the options.

ZIP includes a wheel image and directB2S

This is for personal use only. DO NOT include this in any pre-packaged ZIP of tables for commercial/non-commercial products. You know who you are. Just enjoy what is provided for FREE instead of trying to earn a buck from our community's work.

In the template tables there are generic artwork for the cabinet and the backbox. Some people may be happy with that and don't need the real artwork.
There is a short tutorial for people, who know the editor and a longer one for newbies. Both instructions are in English and German.

    Description:

The table is made by the great Jeff Whitehead (Loserman76).
May he rest in peace. :-( I hope, there are pinballs where you are, Jeff.

    '*        Table primary build/scripted by Loserman76
    '*        Table images by GNance
'*        VR update by Rajo Joey

Works in 10.7.2, but best to play in VPinball_GL 10.8: https://github.com/vpinball/vpinball/actions/workflows/vpinball.yml

    ***********************************************
These are quick conversions, as I don't like playing in complete darkness.

  23. Pink Panther (Gottlieb 1981) Sound MOD

Be sure to check the version number when downloading table from "new updated tables" section. The newest version is 3.1.
Usually the file needs to be approved by an administrator before you can download the table, but for some reason it is being put at front of list before it is approved.
So just be sure to check the file version, or you may be downloading old version, thinking it is the updated version.

I first would like to thank Bord for giving me permission to make this sound mod. I would also like to thank him for making a great table!! I also would like to thank everyone who contributed to this table including, Hauntfreaks, NFozzy, Luvthatapex, Arngrim and BorgDog!!
They put in alot of time and work on the original table, and it is appreciated!! So if you like this mod, I would encourage you to thank the original author of the table, as I have only made a few changes!
Check Original Table download page for more important info.
    Original Table...
    http://vpinball.com/VPBdownloads/pink-panther-gottlieb-1981/
I also would like to thank Allknowing2012 and Gtxjoe for teaching me how to add timers to script.
I also would like to thank DJRobX, STAT, Gtxjoe, and nFozzy, for helping me shorten my StopSounds and PlaySounds script commands.
(They each wrote out an example, and between them all, I was able to figure it out!! BIG THANKS!!!)
I also would like to thank Steve "Slydog43" for which these VPX mods would not be possible!!

    Version 3.1
Converted all pics to WebP format to reduce overall size of table.(VPX7.2 Required)
Converted Wav files in sound manager to ogg format which reduces file size.
    File size went from 151 MB's to 52.6 MB's!!!

    Version 3.0
Added Modified version of JPSalas LUT script.
    Toggle LUT's with Buy-In Key. (2 Key)
    Added Instruction Card.
Instruction Card Pic uploaded with permission of Inkochnito. (Huge thanks!!)
Find all your Pinball Card needs at Inkochnito's Pinball Cards site:
    http://www.pinballrebel.com/pinball/cards/

    Version 2.1
Forgot to shut of sw71 timer during Multi-Ball drain.
(10 seconds after any ball drain, and the attract sounds start. So attract sounds were starting before last ball drain on Multi-Ball. It is fixed now.)

    Version 2.0
Added 26 sound effects. All of these sound effects are played through backglass instead of table per Vogliadicanes info.
Including 3 background music sound effects triggered from plunger pull,(3 different versions of same song.), and an Inspector background music sound effect triggered by upper left and right kickers.
4 other background music sound effects are played during attract mode.
Added "plungerreleasefree" sound effect from BorgDogs Buck Rogers VPX table, so if no ball is in plunger lane, it plays the "plungerreleasefree" sound effect.
Added some Subs BIP, ICML, ICMR, xxx, yyy, zzz with different variables, so no background music sound effects are triggered by plungerpull unless Ball is in Play, and no balls are locked.(This allows the Inspector background music sound effect to continue playing when ball is locked, and next ball is shot from plunger.)
Also this helps during Multi-Ball drains so background music sound effect is not altered until last ball drain during Multi-Ball.
Starting Plunger sound effect is played when ball enters plunger lane,(If ball is not locked.) If plunger is not pulled within 2 cycles of sound effect, (30 seconds.), 1 of 2 random "mad people voices" is activated for 1 cycle,(15 seconds.) If plunger is still not pulled, it will trigger a snoring sound effect for 2 cycles and then starts over from the "mad people voices" cycle.
ROM sounds are turned off by default at table start, and turned back on when table exits.
(This way if you have another Pink Panther table that uses same rom, rom sounds will not be effected.)
Added to script so you can change LED's to blue, pink, or regular orange.(They are blue by default. I tried to make it the same color as LED's on apron.) On table exit, LED's are set back to regular orange.
(This way if you have another Pink Panther table that doesn't have the same LED's colors scripted in, it won't change them.)
Added DT Backdrop pic. I used pic from HauntFreaks dB2S Backglass Illuminated Image.
Requires the latest VPX 10.4 beta.
If you are looking for a dB2S Backglass, Bord included one with his table download.
So you need to go to his download page if you want the dB2S Backglass.
All pics, trademarks, Logos and sounds belong to their respectful owners. This table is for personal home, and non-commercial use only. This table should be used for educational purposes only..
    Hope you enjoy!!

  24. Poltergeist - VP_Cooks

We are excited to launch our new table, Poltergeist, based on JP Salas' table Wrath of the Olympus, with a complete re-skin and modification of the game and visuals, and a couple of surprises!
We strongly recommend you to use the magna save button in the upper right flipper, in order to stop the ball with a magnet and be able to go up to the upper playflied, because one of the best surprises come with this movement.
The DOF is already configured and we added the wheel and B2s.
This table is based on the Poltergeist movies from the 80's, especially the first and the second, and we chose them because these movies bring us back to our childhood and that magical time when anything could happen!
Please enjoy our last creation and don't forget... more to come in the next weeks!

  25. Post Time (Williams 1969) Music Mod

Hi guys, iDigStuff here. I hope you've been enjoying these EM music mods.
This is the second installment in my new DIY EM music mod series.
I have a new method that allows you to apply the music mod yourself in three simple steps in a totally non destructive way.
Meaning this will not effect the original authors table at all or change any elements.
It can also easily be simply bypassed or even deleted if you change
your mind and the table will play in its original state.

    What is it?
Adds jukebox functionality to the table with custom themed music.
Adds some sound effects to enhance the experience.

    DOWNLOAD AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS

Designed to work with Bord's 1.1 version of the table
    Get it here:
