Krull (Gottlieb 1983) Physics Sound VR MOD
By burger
Thank you to @mfuegemann, @kevinleedrum, and @Rascal for creating this awesome table. And thanks @bigus1 for allowing use your MOD with all its visual enhancements!
The Krull pinball machine, released by Gottlieb in 1983, features a unique three-level playfield and System 80A electronics. With limited production and only around 10 prototypes, it remains a rare collector’s item. The widebody cabinet and alphanumeric display enhance the gameplay, offering a distinctive pinball experience. Krull Pinball Machine
I added nFozzy physics and Fleep sounds and implemented VR thanks @teisen for major visual polish, lighting, materials, shadows, and overall atmosphere improvements thanks @Cliffy for improved the desktop mode look, added a lockbar and rails, fixed shading of window over the lower playfield thanks @hauntfreaks for the backglass assets in VR thanks @RajoJoey for the amazing VR cabinet assets @studly_do_right did a smoke test in VR
Teisen and Cliffy put a lot of effort improving the look - The amount of little details and improvements they added really made the table look fantastic, and they’re both always a lot of fun to work with. Thanks guys!
Note: This is a widebody table so keep that in mind when setting the POV on your cabinet, you may not want to fill the screen vertically
Desktop users can try the F12 option "Desktop VR Test". Set that to on, then restart the table. Zoom out using Z offset (also in F12) to see the whole cabinet and backglass in the vr room on your desktop. You won't be able to look around but it's cool to see the whole cabinet with the table in it, imo

KC Jones Gottlieb 1949
By Itchigo
This is KC Jones from Gottlieb (1949). This is Pbecker 1946's vp9 converted to vpx. It still has a lot of dropwalls in it, but it's playable and ready for a proper rebuild. This is a 2 screen, b2s game. For desktop, you'll have to make some adjustments. I'm far from a physics expert, so feel free to make any adjustments. Phil made this back in 2014 in vp8 and vp9. I only did a conversion to make it playable in vpx (10.8.0). I included Phil's commentary when he made the table back in 2014. I also included a flyer and the only known picture of Casey Jones in the zip. The A key loads the ball.
This table is free to mod or rebuild with no restrictions.
Thanks to PBecker1946 for the original table (he is still with us, but he hasn't made anything new in quite a while).
Thanks to Flying Dutchman for improving the graphics.

Kiss (Bally 1979)
By UnclePaulie
"You wanted the best, you've got the best!! Kiss!"
Bally's 1979 Kiss had a production run of 17,000 units, it is the seventh most produced pinball machine in history. The theme is based upon the legendary self proclaimed "Greatest Band in the World", Kiss. Featuring members from the 1977 group costume era.
Thanks to @redbone for creating a high resolution playfield from various sources, including a high resolution playfield overlay scan provided from ClarkKent. Redbone spent countless hours stitching, updating, and touching up the playfield to get looking as close to an actual full, high-resolution scan. He also assisted on so many other graphics including the plastics, flippers, spinners, apron, and targets! Also thanks to Hauntfreaks, as I used his brand new backglass for VR.
This table was done from scratch placing everything, and implementing the latest VPW (2025) standards, physics, alllamps and 3D inserts, backglass for desktop, roth drop and standup targets, standalone compatibility, sling corrections, optional DIP adjustments, updated flipper physics, VR and fully hybrid, Flupper style bumpers and lighting. I also baked the GI and interior wood walls. I've once again studied hours of videos to ensure accurate placement, gameplay, bounces, physics, etc.
This table requires BOTH the kisse.zip AND the kiss.zip ROMs to work.
I've provided a .nvram file for the ROM menu settings, and I've hard coded the DIP switch settings as usual.
This table is loaded with options in the F12. Various balls, ball brightness, flippers, screw caps, spinners, targets, aprons, pegs, plastic edge colors, LUTs, Dip settings, and plenty of other VR stuff, including LED undercab lighting.
Please NOTE there are several items to consider on the ROM settings: The default settings for the ROM options are hard coded into the script and are based on the recommended values from Bally for 3 ball conservative play. If you want to change the ROM settings themselves, you need to change the "SetDIPSwitches to 1" in the script, and then use the F6 menu to change. However... I am not able to hard code the ROM menu options. Typically, there are levels of score achievements that award a free play. The default ROM has that set to off. I've included an nvram file you can use that sets that to match the instruction/score cards and Bally's recommendation (280,000 and 520,000). I also have instructions in the script on how to change that if you wish to do yourself.
Thanks again to Redbone, ClarkKent, and to everyone else from the VPW team that provided testing and feedback!

Kessel Run (Original, 2025) ICB Mod
By endeemillr
This started with me cleaning up a dusty version of Ice Cold Beer and after getting really inspired by Uhlenhopp's beautiful ICB cabinet on facebook with his mods, I started adding on. Had to add a couple scoring holes to make 12 parsecs, movie quotes, music, and a FlexDMD, why not? Controls are magnasaves and flipper buttons. No plunger required. If you have installed joysticks on your cab, it plays much better, but you will need joy2key to convert joystick inputs to match your flipper, Magna keys.
I am not a puppack fan, but if any of my creations could use one this is it, so reach out if anyone is interested in creating one.
mfugemann made the original ICP table in VP9
32assassin made the VPX version.
Images are from the web except the Kessel run logo, I created from the Empire logo
I got permission to mod the table from both authors, so I cannot give permission to mod, but I hope others can use my Flex scripts. We can do more with our DMDs, people!

Knight Rider (vpx 2025)
By Tombg

Kiss (Bally 1979)
By GauGau
God Gave Rock 'N' Roll To You. Bally did not. The 1979 technology only allowed for a short beep chorus from "Rock And Roll All Nite" 😉.
Using @jbg4208's table Kiss (Bally 1979)(FS/DT) VPX 2.0 with the optional PUP-code from the Kiss (Bally 1979) pup by @LAROUILLAS I have added the 4k playfield by @PBR and upscaled some of the remaining graphics.

King Tut (Bally 1969)
By drinkcristal
This is a table I played as a kid and wanted to play again. Very limited numbers made of the machine and its Add-a-ball version King Rex.
Game play-wise it's very simple but I find the artwork beautiful. Sadly, I could not source decent playfield artwork and cobbled what is in the game together from too many sources.
Call out, if anyone has a decent playfield image, please let me know and I will update the game.
I've made this DT, cabinet, FSS and VR. I've attached the B2S in the download zip for convenience along with a res file for DT users. (can be downloaded via its own page on VPU)
Any feedback welcome and if you have any bugs/queries, place in the comments and I will aim to assist.
Enjoy...

Kings Of Steel (Bally 1984)
By UnclePaulie
Enjoy a Test of Champions on the Playfield of Combat in Bally Midway's exciting Four-Player Pinball Kings of Steel!
Thanks to Redbone for cleaning up the playfield from the original scan from TAB, as well as target, bumper, and backwall images. Also thanks to apophis and the VPW team for feedback and testing. Hauntfreaks provided the higher resolution VR backglass. DarthVito did the VR wall environment.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO CHANGE 4 SELFTEST POSTIONS IN THE ROM FOR SPECIAL REPLAY/X-BALL/NOVELTY MODES!!!!
Here is the procedure to set the selftest postions on this Bally 35 MPU table:
1. Press 7 to enter test mode. Continue to repeatedly press 7 until you see 01 appear in the ball in play/match display
2. Press and HOLD the 1 key until it reaches the value you want to set it to. The value will increase by 1 while you are holding in the 1 key. If you happen to go past the value you want to set it to, while holding in the 1 key press and release the 7 key. The value will then decrement by 1 while you are holding in the 1 key. When you reach the value you want, release the 1 key.
3. Repeat pressing 7 to scroll the remainder of the settings and change values in the similar manner.
4. Press F3 to save your changes and reset the table.
Here are the recommended values to change to:
16: 02 - Special is extra ball (01 is 50,000, 03 is replay)
17: 02 - Special is extra ball (01 is 50,000, 03 is replay)
18: 03
19: 03 - High Score to date earns 3 credits (00 is 0; 01 is 1; 02 is 2)
I updated to latest VPW standards, physics, GI VLM, and shadow baking, 3D inserts, Alllamps insert routines, shadows, updated backglass for desktop, playfield mesh for a saucer bevel, roth drop and standup targets, standalone compatibility, sling corrections, optional DIP adjustments, updated flipper physics, VR and fully hybrid modes, Flupper style bumpers and lighting, gBOT system and trough. Dozens and dozens of hours were spent studying gameplay videos to match the table skill shots and action.
If you want to change the DIPs... you will need to go into the script options and change SetDIPSwitches to 1, then open the table, hit F6 (that'll load the default DIPS and display them). You can then select various ROM options. Once entered, you can exit out, and restart. That will then set the new ROM settings.

King of Diamonds (Gottlieb 1967) 1.3
By EMUnderdogs
King of Diamonds is a playing-card based table where you try to get a complete hand of Diamonds. The cards 2 through 9 can be earned from rollovers — getting all of them lights the SPECIAL. The cards 10, J, Q, K and Ace can be earned from corresponding bullseye targets.
A roto-spin feature (called a carousel) spins up card-rank targets five at a time providing an additional way to claim the full suit of Diamonds. Getting all thirteen cards lights all the SPECIALs. (You need the SPECIALs before the machine will deal out free games.)
A player-friendly table that gives you the possibility to score a lot of free games. When this came out Gottlieb had just moved to the automatic ball release mechanism we're still familiar with. King of Diamonds is a classic from Gottlieb’s Wedgehead era and, as it turns out, the favorite table of VPU's own @Cliffy.
Hold left flipper (shift) before game start for options menu.
New in version 1.3:
playfield lights, bumper cover and other lighting new top tabs and screw adjustments playfield color correction removed extraneous reflections fixes for plastics, decal images and materials, plunger depth new sunken tray apron playfield shadows bell no longer panned hard right for headphones users
The VPX community is continually in @loserman76's debt. Here is a link his original table that this one is based on:

KISS Stern (2015) 1.3 VR
By capnclaw
Thank you to @balutito for allowing me to convert his awesome mod to VR. Thank you to @allknowing2012 and all contributors for the amazing original work on this gem!
I found some good high resoltuion images for the pro model version of this table so I tried to keep everything to that version of cabinet as much as I could including side, backbox and dmd area graphics.
I hope you enjoy! Please note also the directb2s backglass is required for this as well. Link to the B2S is provided in the tab.
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS VR ONLY. THE CABINET/DESKTOP VERSION CAN BE FOUND HERE
Copied from Balutito's release.
To make your life easier, I'm making the music and the ultraDMD available, but everything comes from @allknowing2012 ,KISS to him
if you already have this table, no need to load the KISS install .zip which contains the music and the ultraDMD
use left button to change city, right button to change music
Playfield, apron, inserts, all graphics have been taken over.
The work is not perfect because the images were originally low resolution.
I used the technique indicated by @pin666 for the playfield and the apron thanks to him.

King Rock (Gottlieb 1972) 1.2
By JCalhoun
Thanks to Loserman76, Teisen, Cliffy - another great EM (electro-mechanical) table for VPX. Fleep sounds have been added for this version, 1.2, enhancing the table.
Some small tweaks to lighting, a 2K apron and cards round out the changes.
The table is a little unusual having a pair of flippers lined up on the left of the drain and another pair of flippers along the right of the drain. It also is conspicuous for having no slingshots.
Learning the unusual flippers is part of the fun. Additionally, the power of the flippers allows you to get the ball back near the top of the playfield - unusual for many EM tables.
The original table by Loserman76 (RIP) is here: https://vpuniverse.com/files/file/8293-king-rock-gottlieb-1972/

First I would like to thank Loserman76 for the beautiful work... wherever he is playing pinball!
small changes were made only aesthetically
small improvements in the playfield, plastics, lighting, flippers position... I want to make it clear that the descriptions for the tables I'm sharing are "standard" for all, changes are made when there is a need for some adjustment.
version used, follow the link to the original table
New Backdrop created by Cliffy! Thank you friend.
Adjustments made:
- Playfield touch-ups
- Plastics touch-ups
- cap bumpers
- spinners
- added primitive to the base of the bumpers and lighting
- lighting
- metals
- screws
- new pov
- new backdrop
- other small touches
Loserman Description:
VPX conversion
Artwork done by Bodydump
others to thank: GNance, JPSalas, Pinuck, hauntfreaks, Borgdog, Arngrim
in addition to the "standard" keys (typically "1" to start game and "5" for coin), I've added "3" as another coin input and "4" for coin and auto-start game (like I recall the dime slots generally were) to simulate 3 coin slots
when game is not in progress, holding down left flipper for about 3-5 seconds will bring up the options menu. left flipper selects item, right flipper changes option.
I've also included shadows for the ball and flippers. If you want to turn them off look for these lines at the beginning of the script:
Const ShadowFlippersOn = true
Const ShadowBallOn = true
change to false if you want either of the shadows not showing on your tables

This was the first table I ever created in VPX (before Pink FLoyd and SpaceRamp)
Its just a re-upload to VPU, so no VPW code/enhancements included (yet?)
This table release on VPU has NO audio tracks in it (CopyRights).
If you want to have nice music (table was created that way), just download the music tracks/loops at this location:
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1XUbbco5N7M4Sw2YjodgyTsQfHw-yN3eL?usp=sharing
Just unzip the contents and put it in the music folder of VPX.

Krull (Gottlieb 1983) (10.8)
By Rascal
This is a hybrid update to my vpx conversion of a rare Gottlieb 1983 Krull pinball machine. For more details of the table I updated check out this link.
https://vpuniverse.com/files/file/5455-krull-gottlieb-1983/
Special thanks go out to the following people.
Ahr1man and his hawk eyes and his 4k monitor with his magnifying glass for finding every pixel out of place.
Rawd for being Rawd and just so I can boost his popularity more than it already is.
Smaug for his really slick video intro and help getting the word out. Also for beta testing.
Gigalula for beta testing and reporting.
tamoore for beta testing and reporting.
Studlygoorite for beta testing and reporting, he found that I had a bunch of sounds set to the backglass that should have been set to the playfield.
VPW team for many VR settings and object for the VR view.
And of course thanks to kevinleedrum and mfuegemann for the 2014 vp9 version.
I hope I got all the people that helped, if not let me know and I will add you.
Enjoy!

KISS Stern Balutito LE
By balutito
Balutito KISS you all. 😙
allknowing2012 having given its permission to modify its KISS table, I took it over point by point to try to improve it graphically.
Thanks to him for the work done upstream.
I proposed a small Backglass update to @Wildman that you will find here:

King Rock (Gottlieb 1972) (VR Room)
By RajoJoey
Description:
***************
The table is made by the great Jeff Whitehead (Loserman76).
May he rest in peace. 😞 I hope, there are pinballs where you are, Jeff.
I would like to thank Jeff, for allowing me, to convert his tables to VR.
Info
It is a hybrid table. So you can play in VR, desktop or cabinet mode, but you need the external backglass.
There is no need to change the script. A VR headset is automatically detected.
I added the following things:
VR room, artwork for cabinet, backbox and flyer, animations for buttons and plungers, LUT files (change with magnasave buttons).
'* Table build/scripted by Loserman76
'* Table images by Bodydump
'* VR update by Rajo Joey
Works in 10.7.2, but best to play in VPinball_GL 10.8: https://github.com/vpinball/vpinball/actions/workflows/vpinball.yml
***********************************************
These are quick conversions, as I don't like playing in complete darkness.
If you want to do your own conversions, I wrote two tutorials for EM tables like Loserman76's and make templates of the tables, pictures and materials.
Also there are some .psd files, to change the artwork in an easy way for example.
In the template tables there are generic artwork for the cabinet and the backbox. Some people may be happy with that and don't need the real artwork.
There is a short tutorial for people, who know the editor and a longer one for newbies. Both instructions are in English and German.
