"Prepare for the ride of your life!"

VPW are proud to present No Fear: Dangerous Sports by Williams!

This started when Kevv wanted to add some of our bits and pieces to Ninuzzu's version of No Fear, it played better with the mods but was still hobbled by the fact that it was based on an old inaccurate playfield. It's one of Sixtoes favorite's but was put on hold and put into the "would be nice to do if we get a playfield scan" as it needed a lot of work to get it right, and if you're going to make a machine you like and it needs quite a bit of work, then you might as well do it properly!

Fast forward a bit and Smaug with the help of PaladinArcade managed to actually get a scan of a playfield! This was then stitched together by ClarkKent and Sixtoe got to work rebuilding the machine.

Tomate then decided to see how fast we could do a toolkit import and conversion (answer, not very! We're all still learning every day with the toolkit!).

A lot of tweaking and messing about later (those bloody magnets!) and here we are, it's a brutally fast table with no pop bumpers or even rubber bands to slow you down, giving Iron Man a run for it's money as the fastest table we've done!

Enjoy!

Really close to the real deal 💯🤩

Same fast flow and leathal rubberposts, this is not a table for slow thinkers 😝

Thank you VPW for another EXTREME release!

Here is a pic of my real machine versus Vpw.

The real machine was never sold with a centerpost (only protos) so don´t be a coward and use it 😜

(Just turn it off in the menu)

Wow love this table, so good!  Thanks all.

Took me ages to get the pov dialed in, here's my best effort, please post if you think you have a better one or like if you’re happy with my attempt.  Thanks.

What a treat to wake up to!

Drop

Dead

GORGEOUS!

And zippity-doo-dah FAST! Just like the real pin nothing feels more satisfying than making that jump ramp shot all the way around. Timing is everything and when you make it it feels sooooo good.

Once again the @VPinWorkshop extreme team steps up their game to the benefit of all- THANK YOU! You've surely made Steve Ritchie proud.

Shown here with @hauntfreaks fulldmd b2s and @jpajmo colorized dmd. Thanks to all!

A another top notch release of the famous VPW team. It looks, sounds and plays amazing. I feel so spoiled by all these new tables, this is surely the golden year for VP(VR). I really like the speed of the gameplay in NoFear. Thank you to all !

Visually this release is the best of all recent VPW release because it's the first table that has zero "z-fighting" going on. With the other recent releases I always found "a detail"(2 or 3, not many except in JM, that table had many z-fighting especially after the ramp-update) that flickered because of overlapping textures/z-fighting but this one is 100% flawlessly done, just perfect! Thank you for that. It just looks stunning. The only mini thing that I found was that the "Launch ball" text on the launch button was slightly floating in front of the big red button in the VR room but that doesn't harm the enjoyment of this amazing release.

Jeez... talk about playing fast! On this table you can't blink, or you'll lose the ball. I like these High Speed/The Getaway kind of tables though as it is a proper adrenaline rush. Well... VPW did their thing again and this table looks gorgeous and plays as good as you get.

Very nice table, superb physics but the inserts are poor, very little light. I can't play with this table because of the inserts. In games you can't see the inserts lit.
I hope there will be another version with visible inserts. Otherwise the rest is perfect, crazy work!!! Well done

Table looks amazing. I'm not running 10.8 but the table stills with one small exception: Flippers work but do not move.

Ok, as said above, not running 10.8, so maybe I get what I deserve :). Just wondering if anyone else had this problem. Is 10.8 safe to add since not yet final?

Response from the author:

This is a 10.8 table.

Looks and flows superb!

I already liked the latest Ninuzzu version, but this takes it to new heights.

Again, like with other VPW tables, the sense of actually looking into a pinball machine (cab mode) is really there ! Such amazing actual depth in the playfield, AND proverbial depth in the gameplay !

Another astounding table !!

Thank you Sixtoe, Kevv, Tomate, Apophis, Yaakki, Tastywasps, Primetime5k, Smaug, Hauntfreaks, Ninuzzu, Niwak and Toxie 🤘👍
