  1. Gundam Wing

A couple of years ago I uploaded a Gundam Wing table on vpforums. This is 2.0 for that game.
Completely redesigned the game based off of Swamp Thing from LTek. New gameplay, nfozzy, VR and PUP included.
I decided to remake the old Gundam Wing table since Swamp Thing added nfozzy physics to Serious Sam II. This is completely different than the table I uploaded a couple of years ago. Several of the elements from Serious Sam II have been re-arranged so you get a different gameplay experience. You can toggle VR in the script. I tested with desktop, cabinet and VR mode so this should work for everyone. PUP and wheel are included. A b2s is included but I recommend using the pup pack.

    Rules:
     - 3 Balls Per Player
     - Multiball on every 3rd battle win
     - Shoot glowing Wing Gundam to start a battle
     - Shoot Epyon for a random reward
CAREFUL.... the targets have been moved around and switched from Serious Sam!!

  2. Bourne Identity - Challenge Edition

You asked for it and here it is. Bourne Identity - Challenge Edition

Several players found that the original Bourne Identity: Treadstone Edition was too easy and that the games were too long. SuperGibson did a significant overhaul of the game to increase the difficulty.

Thanks to the Super Tilted team and to Smaug's trusted friends for testing the table.

List of changes from Bourne Identity: Treadstone Edition

    - Centre pin removed
    - Outlanes opened up a little bit
    - Score multiplier resets on drain
    - Mission multiplers reduced to 0.5
    - Safehouse entrance tightened up
    - Start Mission is disabled during multiball
    - Start Multiball is disabled during an active mission
    - Safehouse Multiball is disabled during an active mission
    - Number of hits required increased for each mission
    - Safehouse mission complete now awards extra ball instead of score multipler
    - All orbits and ramp openings tightened up
    - Game reduced to 3 balls
    - Extra ball awards increased to 50, 100 and 200 million
    - Ball Save time reduced
    - Mode Scoop catch radius reduced
    - Lower flipper length reduced

Have fun with this one! Post your high-scores in the comments!

  3. Fathom (Bally 1981) FrankEnstein MOD

About 2 months ago, when I was suddenly faced with copious amount of free time I decided to dive into VPX table creation/modding and took at stab at using VLM/Blender to rejuvenate one of my favorites 80s table... Fathom. I hit so many walls and limitations of my knowledge that after 2 weeks I gave up and decided to tackle a simpler project (Stern's Cheetah). Having released that few weeks ago, I took what I learned during that process and what knowledge the fine VPW folks shared with me in meantime and felt more confident to revisit Fathom. The table has been cooking and been tested by the VPW Team for few weeks now and today, I'm finally ready to part with a version of it and share it with you guys.
    Hope you all enjoy it!

p.s. (Frankly, I could easily spend another week or 2 to nitpick even more details and get the VR setup to integrate better with the baked lighting (and use a proper cabinet), hope there is plenty to enjoy in the table in its current shape.)

    # Version 3.0 by FrankEnstein based on Version 2.0 by UnclePaulie
    **v3.0 info:**
This version is FrankEnstein's VLM/Blender makeover of UnclePaulies already excellent table from 2023 so it has all the goodies he and redbone put in, but jazzed up with raytraced renders and all the goodness Blender has to offer. Certain parts were replaced and remodeled for proper raytracing but the table still largely uses most of the assets from the previous version, therefore including the previous detailed credits below.
Thanks to Apophis for his code updates, code cleanup, tying the room brightness controls to the VR setup, and immense knowledge of all things VPX and the willingness to share it. Thanks to all the folks on the VPW team that helped with testing and advice (Apophis, tomate, Passion4Pins, DGrimmReaper, Sturdlygoorite, Sixtoe, Darth Vito, redbone...) as well as all contributors to the VLM Kit parts library.
Most of all thanks to Uncle Paulie and Redbone for their excellent v2.0 that I used as a starting point and used most of the assets from and his permission to mod his table.

    **v2.0 info/credits:**
Table includes Hybrid VR/desktop/cabinet modes, new upscaled playfield by EBisLIT and Redbone, VPW physics, Fleep sounds, 3D inserts, new GI, sling corrections, targets, saucers, playfield mesh, etc.  Updated playfield, plastics, targets, apron, flippers, and more.
This version done with UnclePaulie's prior Bally tables as a baseline to start.  Built everything ground up from there.  Used a few prims and images from Goldchicco's prior table, as well as some logic.  I used EBisLit's playfield as a baseline, and Redbone did lots graphics updates to that playfield, as well as the plastics, targets, apron, flippers, and others.  The VPW team did lots of testing and recommended that I use Circus's VR room as an option, as it has you playing on the ocean floor with fish swimming around you, so his very cool environment is also included, and is the default environment for VR users.

  7. Death Note

VPX rebuild  of my 2010 vp8 table

    Wheel included

B2S included. I have tried to make it two/three screen, but have no way to test the three screen, so if somebody with a three screen setup can advise if it works, that would be great so I can know I did it correctly and can replicate for future tables.

Drop main playfield targets to spell DEATHNOTE.
Drop right channel targts to spell LIGHT
    top channels light RYUK.
Channels (R-Y-U) cycle with left flipper.
    RYUK incriments bonus multiplier.
DEATHNOTE releases multiball if locked, lights shoot again for 30 seconds if not locked.
LIGHT activates lock (behind the LIGHT targets).
Clear targets and hit kicker in Kira's cell to light shoot again with no time limit
Shoot the loop back for L light, then shoot again to set L flashing. all scoring doubled while L flashing, lasts 30 seconds

    SCORES:
    Skill shot 1000.
    DEATHNOTE 2000.
    LIGHT (lock) 500.

  8. Life Is But A Dream - Avenged Sevenfold (Original 2024)

This is an original table based upon JP Salas's Friday the 13th.  I enjoy tables based upon music and wanted to adapt a table for Avenged Sevenfold's latest album, Life Is But A Dream.  I reskinned JP's table with artwork from the album and adapted the rules to the theme.  Music tracks are all embedded in the vpx file and will play automatically depending on the selected mode.

I have created a PUP Pack with videos for each track, which can be downloaded at the link below.  By default, the script uses the embedded music, but the "UsePUPPack" constant on line 18 can be changed to True to use the PUP Pack.

There are five difficulty levels that are selectable using the flippers outside of game play.  The levels will adjust the number of balls per game, some of the timers and whether the modes reset when the ball is lost.

DOF has been configured for toys and addressable LEDs, but you will need to update your configuration.

The table has been created with VPX 10.8.

    Installation:
Copy the vpx and b2s files to the Virtual Pinball tables folder.

    Optional PUPPack
download the PUP pack from https://drive.google.com/file/d/1d3am3c4tjy5-5Q8laa0j_ZW7TVqWGevg/view?usp=drive_link
copy the PUP pack to the PinUpSystem\PUPVideos
set UsePUPPack = TRUE in the table script

    Optional Frontend Media
in attached zip file, includes rules, wheels, loading video, backglass, topper and FullDMD

  9. Tri Zone (Williams 1979)

Tri Zone... Welcome to the next dimension in futuristic fantasy!  Tri Zone integrated futuristic sounds, scoring, and visual effects for that time.

This table was done by using images from the web for the playfield and plastics, allowing me to accurately place all elements. I did use some overlays from Kiwi's prior table image as well as a couple primitives. Thanks to Redbone for enhancing that playfield, target, and backwall images.  Also thanks to  the VPW team for feedback and testing.

I updated to the latest VPW standards, physics, general illumination light mapping, shadow baking, 3D inserts, Alllamps insert routines, updated backglass for desktop, playfield mesh for a saucer bevel, roth drop targets, standalone compatibility, sling corrections, updated flipper physics, VR and fully hybrid modes, Flupper style bumpers and lighting, gBOT system and trough. Dozens and dozens of hours were spent studying gameplay videos to match the table skill shots and physics action.

  10. JAWS Balutito MOD

Hello everyone, here we are on summer vacation, so what could be better than a little game of JAWS?
Jaws is certainly my favorite original table, the work done upstream is considerable.
I also advise you to use the corresponding puppack which immerses us in the atmosphere of this exceptional film.

I hope no one will feel offended by this sharing and the changes made. If so let me know I will remove this post. Indeed most of the original authors, Rom, SLAMT1LT  and RANDR are no longer on VPU or VPF.
So Thank's to them and to:
    ' randr for VPX conversion
' TerryRed: DOF (converted from DOFLinx mod of FP table), SSF, testing, and Pup-Pack
' HauntFreaks: basic first table build, lighting and playfield images
    ' Flupper: Dome stuff
' rothbauerw: assisting with flashers code
    ' Thalamus: SSF
' LynnInDenver: PostDMD PuP Functionality - Requires TerryRed's Pup-Pack for additional files

As far as I'm concerned, I've made a lot of changes, sometimes in the details but in short, new playfield and new platics...
I tried to stay faithful to the original table while making some improvements (in my opinion)

    ENJOY

  12. Black Tiger Pinball (Williams 1981)

Black Tiger Pinball (Williams 1981) MOD v2.1
    VPX table by 32assassin
Graphics and Sound Mod by Xenonph
    Original Backglass Art by Ultrace

    Welcome to Black Tiger Pinball!!
Based on Capcom's hit arcade game Black Tiger released in 1987. (Known as Black Dragon in Japan!)

    Version 2.1
Converted images to WebP format which reduces file size.(VPX7.2 Required)
Converted Wav files in sound manager to ogg format which reduces file size.
Table size went from over 105 MB's to just under 42 MB's, with just the 2 conversions above.
I will be adding the Music files to the sound manager the next time I update this table.

    Version 2.0
Converted mp3's to ogg format, and scripted music to be played from BlackTiger folder.
(Place BlackTiger folder in your Music folder)
Added NVOffset script command, so not to interfere with other tables using same rom.
Added option at top of script for those who were getting script error when entering Dungeon.
You can change to DProb=1 and there is no Light to Dark transition time.
It changes instantly instead of slow transition, but gets rid of your error.

    Version 1.0
All sound effects and music come from the Black Tiger arcade rom.
I scripted the music to play 1 of first 2 levels music on first ball played, second ball is 1 of level 3 thru 6, third ball is levels 7 thru 9. (When Multi-Ball is activated, 1 of 3 boss music is played.)
Hitting Dungeon Kicker activates Dungeon music.
After 2-4 player game, the person with highest score gets extra time. Last mission completed music plays during this timed session.
The Black Tiger rom had 4 unused sound effects. I added them to drain hit.

I enlarged the magnets for Magna-Save and added an Auto Magna-Save Feature which can be activated in options at top of script, or toggled with Buy-In Key.(On by default)
When activated, the magnets will automatically activate for 2 seconds.(That is if you have 2 Magna-Save points. Build up your Magna-Save Points by hitting the lower playfield Skull targets.)
(Right lower drop targets fill up the right Magna-Save points, and left fill the left Magna-Save.)
Be warned that it is not perfect. The magnets catch the pinball about 96% of the time, and drops ball in inlane.
4% of the time the magnet flings ball either down side drain, or up over bumperslings if you have less than 2 Magna-Save Points.

Dropping all 6 upper playfield targets, not only advances the enemy target pics on the upper playfield targets , but also advances to next boss level upper playfield pic. The backgound in the upper playfield changes to each boss level in the game.

Added Dungeon Mode,(Brick plastics turn into Lava Plastics.),which is activated when hitting lower left kicker hole.
Dungeon Mode cannot be activated during Multi-Ball or Extra Time Mode.
You have 99 seconds before brick plastics are activated again, unless you lock a ball or lose ball in drain.

I added a modified version of JP's Lut script.(With permission.)
I used this to transition from Light to Dark.
So with the way this table works, it does not allow for the Lut option to be toggled by user.(Sorry!)

Added 6 DT Backdrops to choose from. (Click Backdrop and Options tabs on left side of editor, and on right side of editor you will see an arrow to change to desired DT Backdrop.)

I included 6 Backglasses. 3 different ones, Night and Day versions of each.

    *************************************************************
I used 32assassin's VPX Pharaoh (Williams 1981) v1.0 table to make this mod.
I first would like to thank 32assassin for allowing mods without permission.
(Although I still personally asked for his permission to make this mod.)
I would also like to thank him for making a great table!!
There is much more important info on original download page.
He put in alot of time and work on the original table, and it is appreciated!! So if you like this mod, I would encourage you to thank the original author of the table, as I have only made a few changes!

THIS TABLE IS DEDICATED TO MY BROTHER DAN!!!

I also would like to send a huge thanks to Ultrace for his artwork on the backglasses!
I used his spectacular wallpapers he created! (THANKS!!)

I also would like to thank Flupper for his great Flasher resource table!!
I would also like to thank Thalamus for telling me how to use resource tables!!
I would also like to thank STAT for his Change Team script, which I modified for the plastics and droptarget pic changes.
I also would like to thank JPSalas, Allknowing2012 and Gtxjoe for teaching me how to add timers to script!
I also would like to thank DJRobX, STAT, Gtxjoe, and nFozzy, for helping me shorten my StopSounds and PlaySounds script commands.
(They each wrote out an example, and between them all, I was able to figure it out!! BIG THANKS!!!)
I also would like to thank Steve "Slydog43" for which these VPX mods would not be possible!!

Place BlackTiger folder in your music folder located where you installed Visual Pinball.
(DO NOT PLAY THE MUSIC AS THIS MAY ADD A TAG TO MP3 AND RENDER MP3 USELESS!!)
Be sure to restart table after starting table for first time as flippers may stick on first start of table on your setup.
(You should do this with all new tables you are trying out for first time to avoid weird table behaviour.)
All pics, sounds, trademarks, Logos and copyrights belong to their respectful owners.
All Pics and sounds were found using Yahoo pics, and Google.
This table is for personal home, and non-commercial use only. This table should be considered fan art.
    Hope you enjoy!!

  13. Cheetah (Stern 1980)

    # CHEETAH (STERN 1980) by FrankEnstein
    https://www.ipdb.org/machine.cgi?id=500

While you might know me as the guy that does instruction cards, few weeks ago I got into the world of table creation and this is my first table release ever! I couldn't have done it without the help of the fabulous folks at VPW and I am eternally grateful for all the work they have done to make table creation more accessible to people like me. You guys are the BEST! Full credits below...

VLM/Blender makeover for a competition favorite featuring enough spinners for even the hungriest spinner freaks out there.
The table defaults to cheetah2.zip rom BUT many consider cheetahb2.zip the less annoying soundpack available for this game. Change the desired target ROM via the script. Whichever one you choose, its still recommended to run this with PinVol at hand and lowering the table/ROM sounds to acceptable volume. VPX 10.8.0 Required
Keep in mind that cheetah.zip ROM is the parent ROM and its is also required regardless of ROM selection. (Meaning at minimum you need cheetah.zip and cheetah2.zip to play the table as is)

    Release info
-Complete overhaul of the visuals using VLM/Blender renders, nFozzy/Roth physics and Fleep sounds by FrankEnstein
-Code tune-up and fixes by Apophis
    -VR option added by DGrimmReaper
    -Desktop backglass update by Hauntfreaks

    Thanks to:
-Apophis for his immeasurable contribution to the community, helping me on every obstacle I ran into, creating priceless tutorials on everything VPX/VLM as well as doing much needed code cleanup and bunch of fixes on the table.
-nFozzy/Rothbauer for the state of the art physics updates

  20. The Forgotten Planet - Murray Leinster EM Tribute Series 4

4th in the series, EM Table themed on the Murray Leinster novel "The Forgotten Planet"

Some updates to the series  common script on this one which I will roll out to the others at a later date, Thanks Ichigo for the suggestions.

    A Note about the art:

Although the artwork on this playfield was used as a cover for "The Forgotten Planet" it seems to be a publishing error as the image far more ressembles the Leinster book "Mad Planet." Both features giant insects. The Forgotten Planet did NOT feature giant mushrooms, though Mad Planet did, and while Mad Planet featured humanity reverted to a primitive state, as shown on the artwork, The Forgotten Planet's characters were sophisticated, space faring ne'erdowells who would not be attired as shown here. In fact the characte Burl, from Mad Planet, faces off afainst a giant beetle using a stolen mandable from another critter, in the same section that giant butterflies are described.

This error persists in publication to The Guttenberg Project, where the book published as The Forgotten Planet actually instead contains the text of Mad Planet, and nobody seems to have noticed.

    RULES
light GIANT to flash left loop, then hit left loop to light kicker. Hit that for multiball.

Light BUGS targets to light spinners x 3.

Light PLANET targets to light bumpers x 3

    top lanes for bonus multplier

    in/out lanes for ball saver.

Ball saver is lit briefly at start of ball.

Hit left loop to light left loop, double points on that loop for ten seconds once lit.

SuperGibson proposed the Bourne Identity as a possible theme for a table mod. Tilted Illusions joined
the project and proposed that we could build a complete original. After a short time it was clear that
they had something special on their hands. The two of them made a great team and they officially
joined forces to become Super Tilted. What followed was a wild ride over the span of several months,
leading up to this moment. SuperGibson worked his magic with code, graphics and sound while Tilted
focused on layout, physics, 3d models, and pulling in all the reinforcements we needed to make this
dream project a reality. Thank you so much to everyone who helped along the way. Credits below but if
we missed anyone, be sure that we are thankful for everyone who participated. It takes a village for
sure. The VPin community is an amazing place full of people willing to give their time to support this
    wonderful hobby.

  23. Bad Cats (Williams 1989) VPW Mod

    "One More Time…"

This was one of VPWs first projects a few years ago after Brad1X had done a complete vector re-draw of it. At the time we released it with a lot of added dirt and scratches, but we always wanted a version a bit more cleaned up. In addition to new toolkit lighting, it has had a physics overhaul, and a very detailed Fleep sound pass with the sound package used in Bride of Pinbot (a table from the similar era).

This update was driven primarily by Benji who did a great job updating the project with blender toolkit. Thanks to Apophis for his various scripting help and tutorials getting movables to work, Rothbauerw for various helps, Tomate for modeling new plastic ramps, Mcarter for all the script-side updates (especially Fleep sound package), Iaakki and MrGrynch for scripting support.

Special Notes: VPX 10.8 Beta 7 (or higher) required for this table. This table also takes advantage of a new options page feature in 10.8, accessed via F12 key. The 3rd page in this menu has table specific options including some sweet mirrored side blades. These are disabled by default because they come at a decent performance cost, especially if you are playing in anaglyph or VR. The ‘Day/Night’ setting here is also where you will adjust the table brightness (not to be confused with the same functionality of old Day/Night slider).

This project is dedicated to Brad1X who has done a few amazing re-draws for us and this is his favorite pinball table!

  25. Jokerz! (Williams 1988) VPW

    Quiet! We Are Playing!

VPW is proud to present Jokerz! by Williams. Another table designed by the late great Barry Ousler, Tomate saw a video of it on the PAPA youtube channel and thought it looked like an interesting and great fun table, so we decided to get it done.

Thanks to Bord we were lucky to be able to get hold of a brand new hardtop playfield and also a set of plastics, so we could build the machine properly (with the correct dimensions) from the ground up, and because of this we decided to make it one of our completely rendered tables.

We're super happy with how it turned out and we hope you enjoy it!
