Due to system limitations searching with words of 3 or less characters will not return results. For instance; Doctor Who. This will not return results as the system is trying to search for both Doctor AND Who in which Who will not be found as it's a 3 character word. To find Doctor Who; you'd search for either Doctor or "Doctor Who".
Search Tips:
For specific searches; enclose your search with quotes. Example: "Doctor Who" or "Addams Family".

Thalamus and Mecha_Enron Present: Atari Space Riders https://www.ipdb.org/machine.cgi?id=2258 For a long time, I've been quietly admiring the incredible work being done in the VPW Discord. It's a hub of creativity and innovation, with so many talented individuals that it’s almost impossible to name them all. However, some contributions are just too significant not to highlight. Shout-outs to: Sixtoe, Apophis, Tomate, Iaakki, Bord And last, but certainly not least, Niwak Niwak deserves special thanks—not only for the Blender Toolkit but also for pushing VPX 8 to levels I never imagined possible just a few years ago. Of course, the incredible efforts of Jsm174, Freezy, Toxie, Fuzzel, Gaston, and other core developers have also been invaluable. You’ve all helped make this community something to be proud to belong to. Thank you! ❤️ (Apologies if I’ve forgotten anyone—there’s just too much brilliance to keep track of!) Watching VPW's YouTube channel, especially the videos by Sixtoe, Bord, and Apophis, was very inspiring for me. Their tutorials introduced some new tricks for the editor and toolkit that I couldn’t resist trying them out myself. I had even bought a new computer capable of rendering without too much hassle—so the timing felt perfect. Around a month back or so, I came across an old update to a VP9 version of Space Riders. Frankly, it didn’t play well and, in my opinion, looked even worse. That’s when I decided to see what resources were available online to rebuild it. I started with a decent-quality playfield image and some surprisingly detailed manuals. Using these, I made the game at least playable, albeit in a bare-bones way with just walls and switches. Then I wondered: Could I take this further? After some searching, I found plastics that weren’t too bad and attempted to scale them into something close to proper proportions. The Blender Toolkit didn’t have every piece I needed, but it made the process infinitely easier. By this point, I had invested too much time to stop. So, I decided to take a more VPW-inspired approach to the build. This is the result of that journey. After sharing my progress in the Discord, Mecha_Enron showed interest in improving my work. See detailes, see table script. Space Riders isn't the most popular machine out there. It is after-all an Atari. But, I had fun using the new techniques. Who knows, maybe there will be other stuff coming from me in the future ?! This release is free for anyone except Bigus1 to improve or make changes to. If you do, I prefer to get mentioned in copies derived from this exact release.- 64 comments

Road Runner (Atari 1979) - Remastered v3.0 In my continuing quest to improve the audio and visual elements of my favorite tables, I finally finished the update to, "Road Runner" (or Roadrunner, if I'm staying true to my ornithology studies). First off, big "Thank Yous" to a couple of colleagues, as without their permission and most importantly guidance, this update would not have been possible. Thank you Kalavera, for approving of and encouragement to remaster your already existing masterpiece! And to Xenonph, for the amazing sound mod of the previous version, as it was the inspiration for pushing my understanding of the coding for this remaster. Speaking of which, Xenonph helped me out in the 11th hour by adding some excellent timer code that allowed a fun audio queue to end the game after the last ball drains. That was the icing on the cake, and really brought the table experience full circle! Thanks, Xenonph! I'm sure I've missed a few other contributors, so apologies and thank you as well! This is a great community of talented people who are always available to teach and guide. I've made two new friends through this project! As the title indicates, this is a remaster. I'm a bit of a cinephile when it comes to Warner Bros. animated shorts (I don't even call them cartoons). There is a certain charm that these held from the 1930's up through the golden era of the 1950's. I worked to bring that early era charm back to this remastered version, including using the original music score, balanced with authentic sound effects in order to help recreate that feeling of watching these as a kid (or adult) while you play the table. Playfield and Plastics: - Cleaned up imperfections on the playfield surface in preparation for adding a new Wile E. Coyote character next to the Roadrunner. - Repainted large amounts of the plastics to color correct, then accommodate the character updates. - Updated the Roadrunner and Wile E. Coyote colors and style to be consistent with the original artist model sheet references. - Included two types of Wile E. Coyote (one from the Roadrunner shorts and the other from the Ralph Sheepdog series) - Added characters and scenes to all the previously sparse areas of the plastics, including the apron and slingshots. - Added the wooden road sign title card from the animated short, "Fast and Furry-ous (1949)" to the playfield. Audio: - Removed the previous version's, "Roadrunner Show" television theme song and replaced it with music from Warner Bros. composer Carl Stalling's original orchestrated queues from the animated shorts, "There They Go Go Go (1956)" & "Zoom and Bored (1957)". These were pulled from the disc issue of, "The Carl Stalling Project" (OGG files are in music folder included in the download). - Added sound effects from the original Warner Bros. library discs, specifically used within the Roadrunner / Wile E. Coyote animated shorts. - And finally... Remember the first time you heard Wile E. Coyote speak? Voiced by the great Mel Blanc, he introduces himself (with a business card) as "Wile E. Coyote, Genius", to Bugs Bunny in 1952's "Operation: Rabbit". Prepare to have him introduce himself to you, each time you start a new game! I hope you have fun playing this remastered version! Thanks for all the support and guidance, GaryInMotion (profile name here is Pancake Tues... looking for a way to change that. :))- 11 comments

Here's my Playfield & plastics redraw of the Atarians (Atari 1976) https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1m3qYDXv288hgxw2weEfd94C4M0mx4SYQ?usp=sharing I started making this playfield and plastics redraw because I couldn't wait any longer for this table's VPX existence or no one talks about this table has existed on VPX or not so I give it a shot. The redraw is based on dboyrecords VP9 table adjusted to the Table's Blueprint taken from the manual because It was the only PF with the greatest quality out there. This is an OPEN resource so anyone can 1. Edit or adjust my PF and plastics because they aren't 100% accurate due to lack of good resources throughout the internet. 2. Use it on their VPX build This is my second time redrawing a PF and a first time I'm redrawing plastics. I also provide a PSD file on this Google drive link to edit or adjusted the Playfield and Plastics as accurate as possible. I'm welcome for your feedbacks. Thankyou

It's my first attempt to recreate a table, I hope you like it. What I did was to use a table created by TAB and modify all the graphics, if there are errors, which is very likely, I will try to solve them, as long as it is within my possibilities, if someone can help me solve them much better. I want to thank TAB for your kindness in allowing me to modify your table. Also to the JPSalas master for encouraging me to recreate this table. Also to STAT who was the one who when I made the backglass ne gave the idea of this table. -
