  1. Blood Machines (VPW Original 2022)

    **************************************
    Version 2.0 Additional instruction:
This needs VPX 10.7.3 or later and for VR it is optimized for 10.8 #814. Lighting works a bit differently per revision Scorbit uses 3 extra EXE files that should be but into VPX tables folder. Same place where you put the VPX file and BloodMachinesDMD-folder. Notice that some of these EXE files may need to be unblocked 2 of the EXE's are same than previous Scorbit tables, but this time they are just stored in tables folder. 3rd one is QRView which is made to enable QR code to be seen in VPX table. VPX doesn't normally support loading of external image files. Sources: https://github.com/iaakki/VPXQRView By default it runs still with FlexDMD. You must enable PUP from script and also remember to use options batch files under pup folder.
    **************************************

Alright, let’s do this old school…

VPinWorkshop are proud to present our very first original table, “Blood Machines”, based on the movie from Seth Ickerman with music by Carpenter Brut.

After watching Blood Machines iaakki thought that it would make a great theme for a pinball table, so we started talking about it in VPW and decided that if we were going to do it as our first completely original VPW table, that we wanted to do it properly.
With this in mind we contacted Seth Ickerman to see if they would be interested in the project and to see if there was any chance they would be able to provide any assets that we could use. Thankfully Not only were they amazed at what we were doing, but they supplied us with 70gig of 3D models and textures which were used in the film!
The only issue now was that these were so high detail that a huge amount of work was needed to optimize them so they would even load in VPX, but thankfully Flupper came to the rescue and did a fantastic job optimising the models and textures so we could put them in the table without setting your PC on fire (for example the ship went down from 8 million polygons to 130,000!)

At the time of writing this the table was at revision 335 (release candidate 1.5) with *well* over 1000 man-hours sunken into it, the amount of work has been staggering but we hope that you’ll agree that it was worth it.
The table itself has loads of features that have never been seen before in other VPX tables and we have tried our best to keep most/all of it secret as we want everyone to experience it for themselves firsthand, which is why until very recently we’ve kept details very close to our chest.

    *IMPORTANT*
In order to fully enjoy the table and play it as it was designed to be played, you will need to purchase the awesome soundtrack by Carpenter Brut (about £5/$5/5e) and place the MP3s in your vpinball music directory:
    C:\Visual Pinball\Music\BLOOD MACHINES OST
    We really hope people do support the artist and purchase it from;

  3. Beavis and Butt-head: Pinballed (Original 2024)

Butt-head: "It's about time, dumbass! What took you so damn long!? hh-huh-huh.".. Beavis: "Yeah, loser! heh-heh-heh."
Me: "Yeah, I know, I know. Sorry guys, too much procrastination."
Butt-head: "hh-huh-huh, he said 'ass'!".. Beavis: "Yeah, heh-heh-heh."

Well, after 2½ years in the making and to celebrate three decades of these two snickering metalhead idiots
who will never grow up or score, I am truly proud to finally present..

    Beavis and Butt-head in.. "Pinballed."

Thirty years ago, a cartoon show with this crazy duo aired on MTV that was so divisive that politicians were calling for it to be
removed from the air. It was crass, it was filthy, but most of all, it was downright hilarious. Beavis and Butt-Head hocked a loogie
into the pool of early 1990s pop culture and they've been doing it ever since with episode after episode and a few movies thrown in.

As an homage to Mike Judge, Beavis and Butt-head, and to all of the older school pinball diehards out there, I created this table
as it might have looked, and should have been released, back in 1993. Nothing fancy, no videos, etc. Just good ol' fun retro pinball!

I want to thank Mr. J.P. Salas for his help(and patience) with the animation scripting and give a big shout out to the original
1991 table's script writers. That table script allowed me to start with a blank canvas to design and build my complete re-theme.
I'd also like to thank the Visual Pinball and Vpinmame development teams! Without you, none of this would be possible!

I hope that everyone who downloads this table has as much fun playing it as I did creating it.

    Cheers!
    Watacaractr

    IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ!
What you'll need to do to make this table run correctly:
    1. You MUST have Vpinmame 3.6 beta or later installed to run this table (it will not run correctly without it).
Here is the link for the latest Vpinmame version zip file located atop the first page of toxie's post:
        https://www.vpforums.org/index.php?showtopic=27063&page=1
Make sure you install the correct version of Vpinmame (32 or 64bit).
    2. Please place the included altsound folder "beav_butt" in to your altsounds folder in Vpinmame.
    3. Please place the included "beav_butt.nv" file in to your nvram folder in Vpinmame.
    4. Please place the included "beav_butt.vbs" file in to your scripts folder in VPX.
    5. Please place the included rom "beav_butt" zip file in to the roms folder in Vpinmame. Do not unzip the file.
This same rom is also available as a stand-alone file on this site and elsewhere on different sites.
    6. Look for the directb2s (2 screen(4:3 ratio), 3 screen & 3 screen w/full DMD) files on this site
and on other sites as well. Wheel logo for frontends also available.
Note: These same instructions are included in the file

    That's it. Enjoy!
    "hh-huh-huh. You're gonna score!"

  5. Bad Cats (Williams 1989) VPW Mod

    "One More Time…"

This was one of VPWs first projects a few years ago after Brad1X had done a complete vector re-draw of it. At the time we released it with a lot of added dirt and scratches, but we always wanted a version a bit more cleaned up. In addition to new toolkit lighting, it has had a physics overhaul, and a very detailed Fleep sound pass with the sound package used in Bride of Pinbot (a table from the similar era).

This update was driven primarily by Benji who did a great job updating the project with blender toolkit. Thanks to Apophis for his various scripting help and tutorials getting movables to work, Rothbauerw for various helps, Tomate for modeling new plastic ramps, Mcarter for all the script-side updates (especially Fleep sound package), Iaakki and MrGrynch for scripting support.

Special Notes: VPX 10.8 Beta 7 (or higher) required for this table. This table also takes advantage of a new options page feature in 10.8, accessed via F12 key. The 3rd page in this menu has table specific options including some sweet mirrored side blades. These are disabled by default because they come at a decent performance cost, especially if you are playing in anaglyph or VR. The ‘Day/Night’ setting here is also where you will adjust the table brightness (not to be confused with the same functionality of old Day/Night slider).

This project is dedicated to Brad1X who has done a few amazing re-draws for us and this is his favorite pinball table!

  7. Batman (Data East 1991) VPW

Have You Ever Danced With the Devil in the Pale Moonlight?

The VPin Workshop members present Batman by Data East! This is actually a really fun table that benefitted from a lot from a proper rebuild from the ground up and conversion to it's correct widebody dimensions, its definitely worth a play even if you didn't enjoy it before
Includes a built in VR mode and numerous options which you can enable in the script.

    •    Main table overhaul: Cyberpez
    •    Visuals: Skitso
    •    Inserts: iaaki
    •    nFozzy physics: fluffhead35
    •    Fleep Sounds: baldgeek
    •    VR Stuff: Sixtoe
    •    Miscellaneous fixes and tweaks: Entire VPW team inc. Sixtoe, iaakki, Skitso, apophis, wylte, fluffhead35, oqqsan
    •    Apron Primitive: tomate
    •    Testing: Rik, VPW team

This release would not have been possible without the legacy of those who came before us including, in this case, Javiers VPX version, some 3D models from Dark and the original playfield by 85vett.
Thank you to Rothbauerw and nFozzy for the physics. Thanks to Fleep for sounds.

We recommend that you run this with the fabulous altsound from iDigStuff, which, like most Data East licensed tables, truly enhances the experience!

  8. Batman [The Dark Knight] (Stern 2008) bord mod

Stern's 2008 Batman is a fun game that draws its strength from the quality of the game rules. Not exactly the golden age of Stern art direction, the layout would be revisited and refined years later for the truly classic Batman '66.

This mod features rendered textures & lighting, the requisite nfozzy/roth physics, fleep sounds, etc, etc.

Built on the tt/ninuzzu release with further contributions as follows:
Physics/Sounds/Rendered textures by bord playfield and insert cleanup, script fixes by apophis flashers fixed, VR added by sixtoe lampz implemented by iakki script fixes by wylte playtested by many - the vpinball crew initially, later the VPW crew especially RIK and pinstratsdan

  9. Big Bang Bar (MOD) nFozzy, Fleep Sounds, LUT

    Hello there,

A lot of you guys complained about that i used the Bigus1 version of the table.
Well i heard you, and here is it...the MOD Version of Unclewillys Original "Big Bang Bar Table". (The old one will be removed)

You can now also switch again the blacklight On/Off and change also the ball brightness to your liking!
    Enjoy

I have implemented the nFozzy Physics, Fleep Sounds, and a LUT selector (Hold LMagna and scroll through the LUTs with the RMagna).
I have also done some rubber cleanups and small changes.
I removed also the black light LUT so it looks more natural.

I  want to thank Unclewilly for his table, VPW Team for their awesome example table and all other that are involved in there to deliver a much better VPX experience !

    Cheers and have fun

  10. Black Rose (Bally 1992) VPW Mod

Send them to Davey Jones! - VPW Presents Black Rose by Bally!

This one started with Sixtoe making some improvements on their VR version (based on the Coindropper VPX version) which included fluppers new bumpers and primitive and ramp fixes, when ebislit managed to get a new playfield stitch. Endi then came on board and did an amazing playfield redraw, and then pretty much every part of the table was tweaked and breathed on. We also now have a better understanding of how the GI lighting actually works on this table (the manual is misleading!) so it now has the funky cannon firing lighting it's supposed to have, including an updated GI makeover by Skitso.

There are loads of options in the script, including VR, ball and flipper brightness and shadows.
(If you have performance issues please turn dynamic shadows off to test)

    Enjoy Me Hearties!

  18. Battlestar Galactica (Williams 1980)

Be sure to check the version number when downloading table from "new updated tables" section. The newest version is 2.1.
Usually the file needs to be approved by an administrator before you can download the table, but for some reason it is being put at front of list before it is approved.
So just be sure to check the file version, or you may be downloading old version, thinking it is the updated version.

I first would like to thank Allknowing2012 for allowing mods without permission. I would also like to thank him for making a great table!! I also would like to thank anyone else who helped contribute to this masterpiece, including John90803, Wolis, Drybonz, Thalamus, and HauntFreaks!!
There is much more important info on original download page.
They put in alot of time and work on the original table, and it is appreciated!! So if you like this mod, I would encourage you to thank the original author of the table, as I have only made a few changes!

THIS TABLE IS DEDICATED TO MY BROTHER DAN!!! KEEP FIGHTING BRO!!!
I also would like to thank Flupper for his great Flasher resource table!!
I would also like to thank Thalamus for telling me how to use resource tables!!
I also would like to thank Allknowing2012 and Gtxjoe for teaching me how to add timers to script!
I also would like to thank DJRobX, STAT, Gtxjoe, and nFozzy, for helping me shorten my StopSounds and PlaySounds script commands.
(They each wrote out an example, and between them all, I was able to figure it out!! BIG THANKS!!!)
I would also like to thank DJRobX for showing me example of flasher script command for flasher placement in FS mode.
I also would like to thank STAT for his "Team Change script", which my script is based on.
I also would like to thank Steve "Slydog43" for which these VPX mods would not be possible!!

    v2.1
Converted all pics to WebP format to reduce overall size of table.(VPX7.2 Required)
Converted Wav files in sound manager to ogg format which reduces file size.
    File size went from 135 MB's to 48.8 MB's!!!

    v2.0
Added modified JPSalas LUT Toggled with Buy-In Key (2 Key).
Added modified JPSalas LUT script combined with STAT's TEAM Change script.
Now all pic changes are saved and loaded on next table run.
Droptarget pics toggled with M Key. Now saved and loaded on next table run.
Apron pic toggled with N Key. Now saved and loaded on next table run.
Bumpercap pics toggled with Left Magna-Save. Now saved and loaded on next table run.
FS Backdrop pics toggled with Right Magna-Save. Now saved and loaded on next table run.
Converted mp3's to ogg format, and scripted music to be played from Battlestar folder.
(Place Battlestar folder in your Music folder)
Added NVOffset script command, so not to interfere with other tables using same rom.

    Version 1.4.1
Added Missing Load Lut script command. Now Lut is saved and loaded for next time table is played.

    Version 1.4
    Added JP's Lut's script.
Press and hold Left Magna-Save, then press Right Magna-Save to toggle the different Lut's.
I moved the bumper pics to "L" key, and FS Backdrop pics to "K" key, as these were assigned to the Magna-Save keys previously.
If you click the Backdrop, and Options button in the editor when table is loaded, you can set the table to your desired Lut image on right side of editor, and then save table so this will become your personalized default Lut image.

    Version 1.3
Moved plunger activated sounds to trigger in plunger lane.
Added JP's GI Effect script, so GI Lights blink with certain events.
(Plunger release, and drop targets activate GI Effect.)
(This proved to be really hard to implement on this table, because there are only GI Lights above the plastics, and below the plastics is lit up with a lightmap.(Basically like Shadows layer added to a flasher, except this is the GI lighting instead of shadows.)
So I had to add timers and call for the visibility of the flasher to match the GI Effect script.
Added GI lighting to DT Backdrop.
Added coin being inserted sound effect, into sound manager and implemented it. (Dropping of quarter in coin box.)
Added drain sound effect.(This sound was in sound manager but not tied to drain.)
Tied upper 2 flashers to bumper hit.
Changed height of drop targets from 1 to 0.01,(Tops can still be seen when dropped.)
Connected adv left and right bonus to red and blue flasher.
Adjusted sides of the flashers above plastics.(So they are not seen off table in DT mode.)

    Version 1.02F
Fixed Shoot Again light on playfield, as it was lighting up when 2X light was on.
(Timer Interval was set to 34, same number for 2X light Timer Interval. I just set it for 1 and now it lights up correctly when you get extra ball, and not when 2X is lit.)
Fixed timers on in game rollover sound effects, so there is half of a second between each one, so none will overlap.I found a few that were set to 1 second timers, and they were 5 second sound effects. So this problem is fixed.
Added 22 more sound effects, including 3 more coin sound effects, 2 more awaiting launch sound effects, 7 more side drain sound effects, and 10 more rollover sound effects.
(No sound effects were changed in Music folder, so if you already have the old music in music folder, no need to copy again.)
Switched Default FS Backdrop pic to chrome lettering.
Added flashers from Fluppers Flasher Resource table activated by events.

    Version 1.01
Fixed timer on target6 timer. Changed from sw42 to Drain timer. It was activating launch sound effects after multiball.
Added new Instruction Card with slightly bigger resolution. (I didn't make this for frontend usage, as I don't own a cabinet. It is mainly for DT users who want to read actual instructions.)
Corrected info in Version 1.0 that I forgot to update before uploading.
(I reduced the amount of bumpercaps from 15 to 6 as alot of them didn't look good enough. I just forgot to update info before I uploaded version 1.0.)
Added 2 nvram files. One for 5 ball and one for 7 ball.
(Copy nvram into nvram folder where Visual pinball is installed. To go back to 3 ball just delete the nvram.)
(Thanks to Johngreve for asking this question, and thanks to Allknowing2012 for linking to ball adjustment tutorials made by ta2686!!)
I also ran across a post by Steve (Slydog43), asking DarthMarino in his drop target table mod support topic, about seeing top of drop target when in dropped position. So...
I raised the drop targets, So now you can see tops when dropped. (Thanks Steve!!!! Looks more realistic!!)
Added 4 more bumper pics. (another Cylon ship, a Cylon basestar, the Battlestar Galactica ship, and a cylon.)
Added 26 more sound effects mostly triggered by lower rollovers.
Added 2 more Background music sound effects. One is triggered by plunger pull, the other is a disco version of theme played during attract mode.
Added cylon sound effect to lower 2 targets, sw49(right lane to reach top of table), and kickers.
    A few other script changes.
    Version 1.0
I used Allknowing2012's 2.1b version to make this mod.
Removed Sidewood and Topwood image from being visible in FS view.
Changed Light l18 to enable bulb. (Noticed this light was brighter than rest, so found the cause and fixed.)
Tucked in metal wall under apron near plunger.(Didn't notice this until I darkened apron image.)
Straightened out Shadows ramp5 and Lightmaps flasher7 edges.(By making X and Y control points same number.)
Lowered left bullseye target under plastic so top does not show through plastic.
Lowered pegs above upper targets,(and a 4 others), so red doesn't show through plastics.
Lowered upper-left rollover divider so not seen through plastic.
Added 3 screw primitives to left side of apron.
Darkened apron and lit up cards on apron. (I was going to add Battlestar Galactica logo to apron, but then noticed there was no Scorpion logo on apron except on coin card. I didn't want to clutter apron with logo.)
Pulled bottom of side rails out slightly so side wall didn't cut through.
Changed side rail pics to ones that look like chrome.
Changed sidewalls and top wall in DT view to stars.
Added "plungerreleasefree" sound effect that plays when no pinball is in plunger lane.
Added 18 FS Backdrop pics that can be toggled with left magna-save key (L-CTRL).
Added 6 Bumper Cap pics that can be toggled with right magna-save key (R-CTRL).
Added 6 Drop Target pics that can be toggled with letter "M" on keyboard.
Default apron is darkened, but light version can be toggled with letter "N" on keyboard.
    Added 103 sound effects.
2 Background music effects are played during game, and 1 other is toggled when both pinballs are captured in left and right kickers.
(I added timers to these rollover sound effects so they won't shut off if another rollover is triggered before one that hasn't finished. Before I did this, the rollover sound effects seemed too chaotic and cut off too many sounds.)
34 cylon and galactica sound effects are triggered by upper 3 rollovers, and bottom 4 inner rollovers.
The upper 3 rollovers trigger 1 of 17 cylon sound effects.
The lower 4 rollovers trigger 1 of 17 cylon and galactica sound effects.
1 of 5 space gun sound effects is triggered with each bumper hit.
20 sound effects triggered by coin insert.
1 of 4 Beginning sound effects are triggered during attract mode, then 1 of 13 sound effects are played before 1 of 4 Ending sound effects is played.
This table has a buzzing sound that progressively goes up in pitch.
(Part of the Rom I think. I will try to remove this buzzing soon!!)
Place music in your music folder located where you installed Visual Pinball.
(DO NOT PLAY THE MUSIC AS THIS MAY ADD A TAG TO MP3 AND RENDER MP3 USELESS!!)
Added 2 nvram files. One for 5 ball and one for 7 ball. (For 3 ball no nvram is needed.)
(Copy nvram into nvram folder where Visual pinball is installed. To go back to 3 ball just delete the nvram.)
I included  with table, 3 wheel images and 2 different dB2S backglasses with 4 versions each. Regular Orange LEDs, Blue, Red, and Yellow.
Be sure to restart table after starting table for first time as flippers may stick on first start of table on your setup.
(You should do this with all new tables you are trying out for first time to avoid weird table behaviour.)
If the flippers are not working at all, you need to update to the newest VP10.5 Beta, or go to Line 228 and change..
    Const UseSolenoids=2
    To
    Const UseSolenoids=1
Change from 2 to 1 as this is activating nFozzy's FastFlips.

All pics, trademarks, Logos and sounds belong to their respectful owners. This table is for personal home, and non-commercial use only. This table should be used for educational purposes only..

  22. Black Knight 2000 (Williams 1989) w VR Room

Thank you to Flupper for the permission to mod his 1.3 version of the table.  Flupper did significant improvements to the lighting on 4k cabs, all lighting inserts, several glow ball options, and several other additions.  It looks fantastic!  I requested to make this a hybrid table for desktop and VR users.  Also, I wanted to get all the latest VPW sound and physics updates added as well.  Thanks to the VPW team for all tutorials, advice, code, etc. for the physics, sounds, etc.  A HUGE thank you to Rothbauerw for all his advice, feedback, and suggestions on this table.  It makes it play amazing!  Also thanks to PinStratsDan, Apophis, Rawd, Wylte, Fluffhead, Sixtoe, Tomate, and Flupper for testing and feedback.

There are LOTS of options on this table.  All of Flupper's cabinet mode settings from his 1.3 version are intact and are the default settings for cabinet mode (lighting, ball choice, pov, reflections, bloom, etc.).  IF you want to change that, it's all via the script options.

Options include:  VR, cab, desktop modes; VR room customizations, LUT, rail glow, brightness, bloom, flipper bats, a playfield RANSOM plate, and ball choices.  They are all at the top of the script.

NOTE:  You MUST choose which mode you are going to play in the script options at a minimum... VR, desktop, or cab_mode.

    Updates by UnclePaulie include:
    - Hybrid mode for VR, cab, and desktop
    - Two VR room environments and an option for a clock and a topper
    - Animated backglass in VR
    - Brightness, bloom, reflections, and other lighting settings
    - Updated to Roth/nFozzy phsics and flipper physics settings
    - Updated to Fleep sounds
    - Updated the ramproll and ball rolling sounds.
    - Added dynamic shadows, and optimized to reduce stutter in VR on some systems.
    - Updated to newer drop targets and drop target physics.
    - Added in updated rubberizer code for flippers for more natural bounce.
    - Additional ball options added... especially for VR users.
    - Option for bright or dark LUT.
    - Adjusted some of the inset light shapes to correct for small light leaks
    - Adjusted rollover targets to be oriented correctly, and added plywood cutouts.
    - Resized the flipper to a more natural length.
    - Added a plunger groove to keep ball from floating around in plunger lane
    - Added new relay sounds to the various light objects that turn on and off.
    - Optimized other parts of code to help with stutter.

I spent a lot of time to fix the kickers, the flashers, the GI lights, some lights, some inserts, and the Opera Jackpot inserts,...
The sounds, the code, the lighting, most visuals, the gameplay,... have been improved.
I did my best to reproduce this pinball machine as close as possible to the real model.

Some options are available in the script to improve even more the lighting (LightsMod "0" should be fully accurate) and to change some other things like the sound volumes, LUT selection, right-up flipper key, instruction cards...
Some settings are also available with dipswitches (F6 key ingame)

But I have to say I did some elements of this table too quickly, I'm not a good 3D model builder and some primitives for the big plastic ramps would be really needed (at this time they are made only with walls and ramps...). So if someone else wants to take care of this and do the remaining job, please contact me

A big thank you to Apophis who added the Fleep sounds pacakge, nFozzy physics & flippers and other physics mods: flipper rubberizer, flipper coil rampup option, target bouncer.

Big thanks to 32Assassin for the beta table he released some time ago and thanks also to hmueck for the previous VPX versions.
Their works helped me a lot to rebuild this table and I took some elements directly from their tables (no need to do again the nice jobs they already did).

Thanks also to Colver and fluffhead35 for their testings, Sheltemke for testing and helping with some arts, eMBee for the apron, HauntFreaks for the playfield color corrections and the VPinWorkshop discord team for their friendly support (sorry if I forgot someone else)

    Side Notes :
    - By default the right-up flipper is controlled by the right-magnasave button (just like the real machine)
If you prefer there is an option in the script to use the right flipper button instead.
    - Some game settings are available through dipswitches (press F6 ingame to acces).
The table should be launched again after any changes to apply the new settings

  25. Bounty Hunter (Gottlieb 1985)

Bounty Hunter is a great throwback to an earlier solid state era. It features fun gameplay and a killer art package that remains unique in all of pinball.

This project was passed on to me by armyaviation, who worked with siggi to do his incredible work on the playfield. Other big players include leandre for the plastic scans and 32assassin for script help. Behind the scenes I received a lot of great help from kingdids, benji, flupper, and tomate as I tried to get Octane for Blender up and running. Also thanks to the usual team of beta testers for the feedback and friendship. As usual thanks to rothbauerw, fleep, nfozzy for the additional framework that adds a little something special to these projects.
