This one started with Sixtoe making some improvements on their VR version (based on the Coindropper VPX version) which included fluppers new bumpers and primitive and ramp fixes, when ebislit managed to get a new playfield stitch. Endi then came on board and did an amazing playfield redraw, and then pretty much every part of the table was tweaked and breathed on. We also now have a better understanding of how the GI lighting actually works on this table (the manual is misleading!) so it now has the funky cannon firing lighting it's supposed to haveincluding an updated GI makeover by Skitso.

There are loads of options in the script, including VR, ball and flipper brightness and shadows.

(If you have performance issues please turn dynamic shadows off to test)

Enjoy Me Hearties!

Gorgeous table. Stunning work. Thank you so much!

Only two bugs keep it from a 5-star rating for me:

  1. About a third of the time, the table can't find the ball after I add coins and hit start. Exiting and relaunching the table usually fixes it.
  2. I managed to get a ball stuck up above the whirlpool, and no amount of nudging could get it to budge, and I eventually tilted trying to do so.

Response from the author:

Thanks, a couple of things;

Are you using 10.6? (you should be, 10.7 is not stable and full of issues), we've literally never had that ball lost bug reported or come up in testing?

It won't let you start a game until it's booted up properly at the beginning.

If you use manual ball control it *will* break the game in many cases due to the multiple switch configuration of the table.

Pinballs actually get stuck on real machines all the time, we do often try to fill in gaps with fake walls/objects where it's obvious things can get stuck, but due to the random nature of ball collisions (using decent physics) sometimes balls end up in peculiar places.

This is an awesome table, especially since it comes from the great ones at VPinWorkshop.  Thanks to everyone who worked on the project, it plays and looks great. 5 stars *****

I had the same problem once, i managed to move the ball away without tilting (but it was close).
I don't know the real table, perhaps there is the same problem ?

Yet another in a long line of amazing VPW tables.  Keep up the great work.  Absolutely legendary.  I said it before, and I'll say it again:  Please redo every table ever, these are amazingly awesome and well done.  Perfect really.

(Personally I want a redone classic Jurassic Park... or maybe a Lost World too 😗... [starship troopers!? I might die for (or kill for 😉?).] but I'll hold my breath and wait patiently all the same.).

Congrats on yet another epic release.
