Welcome to the Game Show!

A big thanks to TastyWaps and everyone who worked on this excellent table. I love every part of it.
They’ve made a lot of improvements that really enhance how it looks and plays.

This mod was a real challenge for me. It involved a lot of scripting, and this time I tried to make it look good on Desktop, VR, and Cabinet. I don’t have a VR setup for testing, so if you notice anything wrong with it and would like to help fix it, please get in touch. I’ve also included options to disable some of the features I’ve added.

Here’s what’s changed and what I’ve added in this mod:

Added ball rolling sounds on the playfield, ramps, and wire ramps—something I couldn’t get working in the original table.
Added a LUT option to the table settings.
Adjusted the side blade size for a better appearance in Cabinet mode.
Added two side blade color options: Normal and Warm.
Added an option to disable side blades on Cabinet and Desktop while keeping them enabled in VR.
Added flashers to the side blades and backwall, with an option to disable them.
Added the original backlight reflection option from TastyWaps’ table to the settings menu.

I’m still improving my skills, and this is my first time doing serious scripting work. If you have suggestions or find any bugs, please let me know and I’ll do my best to fix them.

Batman (Data East 1991) VPW Remix

Not the best picture but the best I can get with my crap phone.

Big thanks to the VPW crew and all the wonderful builders that help create this table, and help transform the world of Visual Pinball. When I built my first cab 12 years ago I couldn't imagine how much everything would evolve. Especially being a hobby that was created from nothing but a community with a love of pinball. Seriously, thanks to everyone for such an exciting journey. I can't wait to see what the next 12yrs will bring. Ok, on to the Remix Patch

Batman (Data East)
- Ton of lighting changes
- added some side blades
- The play field has been darkened a lot. I have a QLED play field screen and I didn't realize how bright it is till I saw my screenshot on another display. If you enjoy the new lighting but find its too dark I am including the original PF image in the download. Just swap it out, Table - Image Manager. Not sure how good it will look with a lighter play field image. I made all the plastics brighter. Dark play field and bright plastics make it easier for me to see and also it adds a little depth, just my opinion.
- Original table link for the patch to work is located at the top of the page.
- You have to use an unmoded version of the original for the patch to work. Patch will not work if anything on the original table has been changed.

*I noticed none of lights (bumpers and such) will show up on my screenshots. I took about 10 pics with different brightness levels but nothing. If anyone has an answer for why and how to remedy it that would be great. That being said, I believe the screenshot is not a fair representation of the actual table with running lights.

Beavis and Butt-head Pinballed (Original 2024) DT FSS VR VPURemix 1.0

First off Thank you to watacaractr for all his contributions to the scene, his work is excellent and he doesn't disappoint here with Beavis and Butthead, in my eyes a masterpiece. If you look at the deluxe vr room I pay homage to this table and some other ones he has created. All credit goes to him for this amazing table.

PLEASE NOTE IF YOU ARE PLAYING IN VR YOU MUST USE A B2S. IF YOU DONT HAVE B2S PLEASE SEARCH ON VPU.
Also please hide B2S DMD if it is enabled in the back glass settings and enable external DMD in the rom settings (F1) or it wont show the score in VR

Barbarella fur backdrop for desktop players

Originally I had planned to release a 4k-resolution conversion of
, but one of the authors has declined permission to do so, saying that re-releases of existing tables would stop the creation of new tables and that the existing resolution was fine for him. I have to respect that decision, although I disagree to what he said and although the Barbarella table release here on VPU says "Permission to mod:yes". The file clearly wasn't released here on VPU by Jeff Whitehead himself, as this has happened after his tragic death, so the permission to mod can be questioned. In the credits of the Barbarella table, two other authors are being mentioned except Loserman76, so I had contacted them for release permission with the result explained above. One of them had approved, the other has declined.
I'm therefore just releasing a dif that includes the new backdrop that is not based on the original author's work that I have made for those who play in desktop mode. It's an imagined re-creation of the fur-lined Barbarella space ship from the Roger Corman movie with Jane Fonda as main character.
Additionally, I've increased the bulb intensity for the inserts to my taste.

Blue Note (Gottlieb 1979) - Loserman76 update

A patch for Blue Note (Gottlieb 1979), a table by Loserman76 and GNance

- Correct the missing graphic spinner
- DOF was already there (by Arngrim), i've just updated some command and add my "epileptik option".
- Add SSF command and some sound changes
- Visual update (shadows, plastics)

@ARMYAVIATION told me a new way to have better plastics on every table !
I love the result, thank you again !
It look very nice, with thickness and light reflection on it (and it's a time devourer 😅).
So now with all the tricks teached by @bord, @ARMYAVIATION and @Thalamus (for the script) I think we have nice improvement to the crazy work of Loserman.

As usual, you need the original table download (link here on the right column), the VPUremix patch system and my file.
