  1. Jet Spin (Gottlieb 1977) 1.2.1

Jet Spin is the #2 EM (electro-mechanical) pinball table on IPDB (Internet Pinball Database) as of the time I typed this. Why is that?

Maybe it's because you can actually work a ball for more than a minute before seeing it off to the drain. It allows you to rack up some decent scores.
Maybe too it's the vari-target on the right side of the table. Something about that crazy sound it makes when you hit it; something about kicking it downfield.
And there is a rather challenging target hanging off to the left of the table. Pretty satisfying if you can manage to tap it.

We are all forever in the dept of Loserman76 for creating the initial implementation of this table for VPX. The table has seen plenty of collaborators from the community, including most recently Teisen and Cliffy. This iteration is based on the latest that Teisen uploaded. My small contribution is SSF (surround sound feedback) embellishment with Fleep sounds and new sound code. Cliffy made some tweaks to the physics, lighting....

I hope everyone continues to enjoy these community tables.

  5. Judge Dredd (Bally 1993) VPW

I AM THE LAW! - V-Pin Workshop proudly presents Judge Dredd from Bally.

This table has been a long time coming! It was started in December 2020 when Sixtoe decided to bring one of his favorite tables up to date (after having converting Dozer's version earlier in the year to VR and discovering it was still an old, albeit well made, vp9 table at heart).
It was decided that due to the complexity of the table, rather than modify an existing table we'd start from scratch using all new assets and rendering the table out, so here were are 11 months later (there were coffee breaks) and we're really happy with the way it turned out and hope you enjoy it!

     V-Pin Workshop Judge Dredd Team
Sixtoe - Project Lead, VPX Monkey, lives on gin, jack of all trades, master of none. Tomate - Primitives, Baron of Blender, helping Sixtoe to not suck (as much) at 3D stuff. iaakki - Scripting, Physics, Insert lighting, Complicated Stuff. Benji - Physics, Deadworld & Banana insert primitives. Daphishbowl & iaakki - Deadworld & Crane code (here be dragons). Flupper - Flipper & Insert primitives, ramp tutorial, general rendering assistance. Cyberpez - Opto's and VUK prims, aftermarket crane models, general assistance. RothebauerW - Physics tutorial, drop and standup target bug fixing, general assistance. Fluffhead, Apophis and Wylte - RTX Ball Shadows, general assistance. gtxjoe - Ball trough tweaking assistance. 3rdaxis - VR cabinet improvements, Working coin door and manual. Embee & Kingdids - Original crane primitive and texture redraw. EBisLit - Playfield photos. DJRobX - Still answering Sixtoes coding questions... Rik & VPW Team - Testing Everyone in VPW for their support and encouragement!
    Notes
Only use JD-L1 Rom! Lots of options in the script, including VR and Cabinet modes. Table designed on and for VPX 10.6.2 (Rev 8678), tested OK on VPX 10.7.0 Final (Rev 310)
Do not use 10.7 328 as it's broken and breaks this and other tables
    How To Play
Start Button  -  Start normal Game Plunger  -  Launch Ball (note: real machine does not have a plunger, right firebutton launches balls) Right Magnasave  -  Start "Super Game" (instant multiball - needs 2 credits) Left Magnasave  -  Change LUT until game starts, then launches ball from left plunger lane in Air Raid / Missile mode. How to activate DeadWorld  -  Hit J-U-D-G-E drop targets in order (ball in judge subway lights a letter) How to start DW multiball  -  Get 3 balls into deadworld using left pursuit ramp after lighting J-U-D-G-E. How to get Ultimate Challenge  -  Defeat all 4 dark judges or light all chain missions.

  7. Jet Spin (Gottlieb 1977)_Teisen_MOD

First I would like to thank Loserman76 for the beautiful work... wherever he is playing pinball!

small changes were made only aesthetically

small improvements in the playfield, plastics, lighting, flippers position...  I want to make it clear that the descriptions for the tables I'm sharing are "standard" for all, changes are made when there is a need for some adjustment.

version used, follow the link to the original table

Thanks to my friend Cliffy for the tips and suggestions!

Thanks to my friend Hauntfreaks for giving up his scratched ball... lol

    Here's Wildman's excellent work for the table's B2s!

    Adjustments made:

    - Playfield color correction and touch-ups
    - small improvement of plastics
    - color correction of playfield lights
    - cap bumpers colors corretion
    - added primitive to the base of the bumpers and lighting
    - lighting
    - metals
    - screws
    - new pov
    - flipper adjustments
    - target adjustments
    - other small touches

    Loserman Description:
    VPX conversion
    Artwork done by GNance
others to thank: JPSalas, Pinuck, hauntfreaks, Borgdog, Arngrim
in addition to the "standard" keys (typically "1" to start game and "5" for coin), I've added "3" as another coin input and "4" for coin and auto-start game (like I recall the dime slots generally were) to simulate 3 coin slots
when game is not in progress, holding down left flipper for about 3-5 seconds will bring up the options menu. left flipper selects item, right flipper changes option.
I've also included shadows for the ball and flippers. If you want to turn them off look for these lines at the beginning of the script:
    Const ShadowFlippersOn = true
    Const ShadowBallOn = true
change to false if you want either of the shadows not showing on your tables

  11. Johnny Mnemonic (Williams 1995)

"The Ultimate Hard (Pinball Machine) Drive"

The latest in Sixtoe's "lets build the hardest machines in pinball", VPW are proud to present Johnny Mnemonic by Williams!

v1.1 - Brighter default environment lighting. Improved ramp textures, decals, and refractions. Some mesh optimizations.
Fixed: playfield reflections, EB buy-in button, and Access Code 2 insert light

This was started way back in April 2021 because, like Iron Man, there wasn't an accurate version available, with the only available version being an old vp9 conversion. Sixtoe prefers to work on tables which don't have a "modern" version, so the process began to build from the ground up using all new assets.

It was finished to a certain point quite a while ago but we decided to wait for VPX and Niwaks toolkit project to catch up before going for another big render job, so it's sat there for about a year waiting, but now everything has caught up so here it is!
Like Iron Man, this is known as being an incredibly fast, brutal and unforgiving machine, don't expect many long games!

Sixtoe - Table-side full scratch build and scripting, VR Room - Dolphin Wrangler.
Tomate - Graphics modeling and rendering - 3D Street Preacher.

Iaakki - Glove, Matrix and Diverter - Handy Man.
Flux - Various Tweaks and assistance - LoTek Support.
    Niwak - Blender Toolkit.
    EBisLit - Playfield images.
    Clark Kent - Plastic scans.
    Baldgeek - Buying JM Glove.
Dazz - 3D Scanning JM Glove.
    Leojreimroc - VR Backglass.
    Scampa123 & RobbyKingPin - Tweaks.
Testing - PinStratsDan, Lumi, Tastywasps, Luk, BountyBob, bietekwiet, Clark Kent, CalleV, jsm174 - VPW Yakuza
Toxie - VPX and pushing out the newest 10.8 as a beta so we could release.

This uses a heavily modified version of DJRobX's glove and matrix code from Alessio/DJRobX/Ninnuzzu's version.

THIS RELEASE NEEDS AT LEAST VPX 10.8 BETA 5 and VPinMAME 3.6
    https://github.com/vpinball/vpinball/releases/tag/v10.8.0-1347-3d585e7

THIS RELEASE ALSO NEEDS VPinMAME 3.6 TO GET BEST RESULTS

  12. Judas Priest Pinball (Original 2019)

    Judas Priest Pinball (Original 2019)

This Judas Priest table is a theme of Skateball, built initially by JPSalas and Haunfreaks, and later modded by Siggi.

I updated the lighting, added more tunes from the Judas Priest catalog, and updated the ball to be a piece of molten metal, just like Judas Priest's music.  I also added music control to the Magna Save buttons:

    Music Control:
    Right Magna = Next Track
    Left Magna = Stop Music

This music begins as soon as the table loads and only stops when the ball drains.  It starts again on the next song after you launch the ball.  There are also configuration settings in the script if you want to turn off the attract music and only have in-game music, or you can mute the music altogether.  You will enjoy in-game callouts by Rob Halford and some musical adornments depending on what kind of target you hit.

I have included a modern Judas Priest backglass, but I also uploaded a whole collection of backglass options for you to choose from, one of which cycles through ALL the backglasses.

  13. Joe Bar Team (mod by ZXR) - complete package (table/backglass/music/medias...)

This is a mod I released a few years ago on VPinball, and never took time to re-upload here... my bad ! 😔
As this is a mod, all the credit goes to the previous authors, and you'll find their names at the top of the script. Thanks to them all.
Thanks also to Franck "Mussinger" for the tips he gave me when I was doing this mod.
As it was done a few years ago, this will work whatever VPX version you have 😉 !

JOE BAR TEAM is a humorous French comic about motorcycles and their proud riders, always ready to fight to prove that they are the fastest on the road... but they are less talented than they think !
To respect the original comics, the voices and writings are in French, but the love of motorcycling is international !

You'll find in the file to download a COMPLETE PACKAGE with TABLE + BACKGLASS + WHEELS + ROM  (frpwr_b7) + MUSICS (metal from the 80's, because the first volumes of the comic take place in the very late 70's to mid-80's) + ALL THE MEDIAS you'll need  for your frontend (video topper, backglass and table videos, backglass audio...)

I hope you'll like my table mod...
Keep playing real and/or virtual pinball, and make this community alive.

Joker Poker EM (Gottlieb 1978) - 'Smokey Blues Edition'
    - - - - - - - - - - - -
    UPDATE: 1.6

I accidentally uploaded the 'wrong /older' version of the table.

This newer version has a BRAND NEW Alternate Plastics set that can be assigned permanently with a variable at the top of the script OR can be changed on the fly by pressing the '2' (Buy-In Key) on your keyboard.
    - - - - - - - - - - - -

This is the original version of the Joker Poker table (with all the original artwork) I used for the 'Strip Joker Poker' table with a couple extra new add on.

29 'blues' music tracks have been added to the table. This feature can be turned off completely if desired.

Place the FOLDER 'jokerpokerEM' in your Visual Pinball/Music folder. Do not put the individual tracks in there - you must place the whole folder.

If turned ON - the Music will automatically start when the ball enters the plunger lane and you can skip tracks by pressing the RIGHT MAGNA SAVE button.

Options for table setup are at the top of the script, and an additional options menu can be turned on by holding down the LEFT FLIPPER button before you start a game. Here you can turn the music feature on and off, set the apron color, select the number of balls, freeplay, etc.

Download includes: table, BRAND NEW backglass, music files, topper, lcd dmd, wheel files.

A new - original LCD 'HIGH SCORE SAVER' has also be added to this table.

  16. Junk Yard (Williams 1996)

Time to infiltrate Crazy Bob's at the Junk Yard and build the Jalopy!

This mod includes the latest VPW enhancements to modernize the older Junk Yard version for physics, sound and playability.

    Enhancements:
    * nFozzy physics
    * Dynamic Ball Shadows
    * Fleep sounds / rolling / ramp
    * Flupper Domes
    * LUT selector
    * New playfield with better image quality
    * Lots of small tweaks to improve game play or aesthetics.
    * More detailed change log notes are in the script headers.

Also, a huge improvement to the game play experience is dtatane's amazing alt color rendering of the Junk Yard DMD located at https://vpuniverse.com/forums/topic/6943-junk-yard-64-colors

    Quick History:
The only VPX version of Junk Yard was version 1.3 (last updated 10/12/16) with mfuegemann as the main author and help from Fuzzel, Dark and Hauntfreaks. There was also a SG1bsoN mod which was mostly lighting updates to an interesting color scheme.

I gave v1.3 a quick flip and immediately realized it needed an update on the physics front. I would later realize it needed other updates as I learned more about the VPW example table packages, etc. The physics obviously jump out at you the fastest if they are using the older VPX defaults.

So, back about 6 months ago, I reached out to apophis about trying to learn how to upgrade the physics and he helped me get started with the bord YouTube tutorials / documents, etc. Fast forward here and it has been a learning journey for me to understand how VPX works, how to code the upgrade packages from the Example table, etc.

I really just wanted to see this table get better physics, aesthetics and gameplay as a general goal for the project with the intention of learning VPX along the way on something that needed a little TLC.

    Commendations:
Thanks to all of the team at Williams listed on the IPDB link.

Thanks to the original VPX authors: mfuegemann, Fuzzel, Dark and Hauntfreaks

Thanks to apophis, bord, Wylte and Sixtoe for coding assistance and thanks to PinStratsDan, Smaug, FriscoPinball and the VPW team for testing.

  17. Jungle Life (Gottlieb 1972) (VR Room)

    Description:
    ***************
The table is made by the great Jeff Whitehead (Loserman76).
May he rest in peace. :-( I hope, there are pinballs where you are, Jeff.
I would like to thank Jeff, for allowing me, to convert his tables to VR.

    Info
It is a hybrid table. So you can play in VR, desktop or cabinet mode, but you need the external backglass.
There is no need to change the script. A VR headset is automatically detected.

    I added the following things:
VR room, artwork for cabinet, backbox and flyer, animations for buttons and plungers, LUT files (change with magnasave buttons).

    '*        Table build/scripted by Loserman76
    '*        Playfield/plastics redrawn by GNance
'*        VR update by Rajo Joey

Works in 10.7.2, but best to play in VPinball_GL 10.8: https://github.com/vpinball/vpinball/actions/workflows/vpinball.yml

These are quick conversions, as I don't like playing in complete darkness.
If you want to do your own conversions, I wrote two tutorials for EM tables like Loserman76's and make templates of the tables, pictures and materials.
Also there are some .psd files, to change the artwork in an easy way for example.
In the template tables there are generic artwork for the cabinet and the backbox. Some people may be happy with that and don't need the real artwork.
There is a short tutorial for people, who know the editor and a longer one for newbies. Both instructions are in English and German.

    '*        Table build/scripted by Loserman!
    '*        Images by GNance
'*        VR update by Rajo Joey

Works in 10.7.2, but best to play in VPinball_GL 10.8: https://github.com/vpinball/vpinball/actions/workflows/vpinball.yml

  23. James Bond 60 th - Timblo (grafic Mod) V 1.1

First of all, thanks to marty02 for allowing me to mod this fantastic table.
further thanks to all who were involved in any way in the creation of this table.
I didn't change anything in the gameplay, because the table is already running perfectly - this work is due to marty02.

    Changes V1.1
    - optimization of Playfield and Plastics
    - ball now comes through an opening from back playfield wall (before magically through a movie poster - now looks a bit more realistic)
    - spelling mistakes were corrected (hopefully all)
    - Gameplay optimization

    Changes V1.0
    - Playfield and Plastics grafics and inserts
    - Bumper Sound combined with original sound of machine gun and bumper hit
    - some Sounds pushed to the Backglas (better for SSF)
    - Tank Dragon change
    - LUT adapted...but everyone can adapt this to their own taste. (Change in Script)
    - Steel ball exchanged
I hope you will like the work have fun with my version of the table
I also made a Dr. No Backglas (this is available here "

happy about feedback and a little thank you on the LIKE button

This is a fun table with fast loop, fun ramp shots and hi-tech ball lock.

    Includes the following updates:
nFozzy physics Fleep mechanical sounds LUT selection - trigger LUT selection on "." and "," keys or use magna keys if game just loaded or while ball is parked in plunger lane Flipper, ball shadows

  25. Jungle Lord (Williams 1981) w VR Room

Thank you to Tony the Wrench who originally did this table in 2016.  I was unable to reach him, however he indicated there is Full permission to mod without approval.  I wanted to do this table to complete the series of the Williams early 80's tables that had the double playfields and magna saves (Black Knight, Solar Fire, Pharaoh, and Jungle Lord).

I also would like to thank the VPW team for testing and feedback (especially Wylte, BountyBob, Thalamus, Astronasty, bietekwiet, leojreimroc, smaug, and PinStratsDan!)! And... an additional Thank you to leojreimroc for assisting with the VR backglass lighting!

Updates in Version 2.0 done by UnclePaulie.  Added VR, Desktop, and cab hybrid modes.  Updated physics, drop targets, flippers, dynamic shadows, and lots of other updates to the VPW standards.  Also added 3D inserts, updated lighting, the latest VPW physics, sounds, sling corrections and GI brightness and fading routines. Some other various fixes done. I also updated the desktop backglass as well as the VR backglass and other VR options. There are also some performance improvements, and  I added a playfield mesh for upper and lower playfields, so there's a realistic bevel in the saucers.  Significant changes were done overall, as the original table wasn't sized to the Williams era sizes.  That resulted in nearly changing everything, lights, walls, ramps, etc.

There are several options in the script.  Including VR, ball brightness, and LUT lighting options.  Since this table heavily relies on the usage of the magnasave buttons, the LUT changes are done by holding cntl (or left mangasave) and then while holding, scroll through the options with the right magnasave.

This is a hybrid table, and it will automatically choose between desktop and cabinet, however, if you are playing in VR, you MUST change VR_Room to 1 in the script.   Additional options in the script include two VR environments, a VR clock, and settings for dynamic shadows if you experience a performance hit.

Thanks again to everyone that tested, provided feedback, and assisted!
