  1. Judas Priest Pinball (Original 2019)

    Judas Priest Pinball (Original 2019)

This Judas Priest table is a theme of Skateball, built initially by JPSalas and Haunfreaks, and later modded by Siggi.

I updated the lighting, added more tunes from the Judas Priest catalog, and updated the ball to be a piece of molten metal, just like Judas Priest's music.  I also added music control to the Magna Save buttons:

    Music Control:
    Right Magna = Next Track
    Left Magna = Stop Music

This music begins as soon as the table loads and only stops when the ball drains.  It starts again on the next song after you launch the ball.  There are also configuration settings in the script if you want to turn off the attract music and only have in-game music, or you can mute the music altogether.  You will enjoy in-game callouts by Rob Halford and some musical adornments depending on what kind of target you hit.

I have included a modern Judas Priest backglass, but I also uploaded a whole collection of backglass options for you to choose from, one of which cycles through ALL the backglasses.

    ##IMPORTANT##
You must create an entry in your VPMAlias.txt file: judas, skatebll

Place the judas music directory in your Music folder.

  2. Joe Bar Team (mod by ZXR) - complete package (table/backglass/music/medias...)

This is a mod I released a few years ago on VPinball, and never took time to re-upload here... my bad ! 😔
As this is a mod, all the credit goes to the previous authors, and you'll find their names at the top of the script. Thanks to them all.
Thanks also to Franck "Mussinger" for the tips he gave me when I was doing this mod.
As it was done a few years ago, this will work whatever VPX version you have 😉 !

JOE BAR TEAM is a humorous French comic about motorcycles and their proud riders, always ready to fight to prove that they are the fastest on the road... but they are less talented than they think !
To respect the original comics, the voices and writings are in French, but the love of motorcycling is international !

You'll find in the file to download a COMPLETE PACKAGE with TABLE + BACKGLASS + WHEELS + ROM  (frpwr_b7) + MUSICS (metal from the 80's, because the first volumes of the comic take place in the very late 70's to mid-80's) + ALL THE MEDIAS you'll need  for your frontend (video topper, backglass and table videos, backglass audio...)

I hope you'll like my table mod...
Keep playing real and/or virtual pinball, and make this community alive.

  4. Junk Yard (Williams 1996)

Time to infiltrate Crazy Bob's at the Junk Yard and build the Jalopy!

This mod includes the latest VPW enhancements to modernize the older Junk Yard version for physics, sound and playability.

    Enhancements:
    * nFozzy physics
    * Dynamic Ball Shadows
    * Fleep sounds / rolling / ramp
    * Flupper Domes
    * LUT selector
    * New playfield with better image quality
    * Lots of small tweaks to improve game play or aesthetics.
    * More detailed change log notes are in the script headers.

Also, a huge improvement to the game play experience is dtatane's amazing alt color rendering of the Junk Yard DMD located at https://vpuniverse.com/forums/topic/6943-junk-yard-64-colors

    Quick History:
The only VPX version of Junk Yard was version 1.3 (last updated 10/12/16) with mfuegemann as the main author and help from Fuzzel, Dark and Hauntfreaks. There was also a SG1bsoN mod which was mostly lighting updates to an interesting color scheme.

I gave v1.3 a quick flip and immediately realized it needed an update on the physics front. I would later realize it needed other updates as I learned more about the VPW example table packages, etc. The physics obviously jump out at you the fastest if they are using the older VPX defaults.

So, back about 6 months ago, I reached out to apophis about trying to learn how to upgrade the physics and he helped me get started with the bord YouTube tutorials / documents, etc. Fast forward here and it has been a learning journey for me to understand how VPX works, how to code the upgrade packages from the Example table, etc.

I really just wanted to see this table get better physics, aesthetics and gameplay as a general goal for the project with the intention of learning VPX along the way on something that needed a little TLC.

    Commendations:
Thanks to all of the team at Williams listed on the IPDB link.

Thanks to the original VPX authors: mfuegemann, Fuzzel, Dark and Hauntfreaks

Thanks to apophis, bord, Wylte and Sixtoe for coding assistance and thanks to PinStratsDan, Smaug, FriscoPinball and the VPW team for testing.

    Description:

The table is made by the great Jeff Whitehead (Loserman76).
May he rest in peace. :-( I hope, there are pinballs where you are, Jeff.
I would like to thank Jeff, for allowing me, to convert his tables to VR.

    Info
It is a hybrid table. So you can play in VR, desktop or cabinet mode, but you need the external backglass.
There is no need to change the script. A VR headset is automatically detected.

    I added the following things:
VR room, artwork for cabinet, backbox and flyer, animations for buttons and plungers, LUT files (change with magnasave buttons).

    '*        Table build/scripted by Loserman76
    '*        Playfield/plastics redrawn by GNance
'*        VR update by Rajo Joey

Works in 10.7.2, but best to play in VPinball_GL 10.8: https://github.com/vpinball/vpinball/actions/workflows/vpinball.yml

These are quick conversions, as I don't like playing in complete darkness.
If you want to do your own conversions, I wrote two tutorials for EM tables like Loserman76's and make templates of the tables, pictures and materials.
Also there are some .psd files, to change the artwork in an easy way for example.
In the template tables there are generic artwork for the cabinet and the backbox. Some people may be happy with that and don't need the real artwork.
There is a short tutorial for people, who know the editor and a longer one for newbies. Both instructions are in English and German.

  11. James Bond 60 th - Timblo (grafic Mod) V 1.1

First of all, thanks to marty02 for allowing me to mod this fantastic table.
further thanks to all who were involved in any way in the creation of this table.
I didn't change anything in the gameplay, because the table is already running perfectly - this work is due to marty02.

    Changes V1.1
    - optimization of Playfield and Plastics
    - ball now comes through an opening from back playfield wall (before magically through a movie poster - now looks a bit more realistic)
    - spelling mistakes were corrected (hopefully all)
    - Gameplay optimization

    Changes V1.0
    - Playfield and Plastics grafics and inserts
    - Bumper Sound combined with original sound of machine gun and bumper hit
    - some Sounds pushed to the Backglas (better for SSF)
    - Tank Dragon change
    - LUT adapted...but everyone can adapt this to their own taste. (Change in Script)
    - Steel ball exchanged
I hope you will like the work have fun with my version of the table
I also made a Dr. No Backglas (this is available here "

  13. Jungle Lord (Williams 1981) w VR Room

Thank you to Tony the Wrench who originally did this table in 2016.  I was unable to reach him, however he indicated there is Full permission to mod without approval.  I wanted to do this table to complete the series of the Williams early 80's tables that had the double playfields and magna saves (Black Knight, Solar Fire, Pharaoh, and Jungle Lord).

I also would like to thank the VPW team for testing and feedback (especially Wylte, BountyBob, Thalamus, Astronasty, bietekwiet, leojreimroc, smaug, and PinStratsDan!)! And... an additional Thank you to leojreimroc for assisting with the VR backglass lighting!

Updates in Version 2.0 done by UnclePaulie.  Added VR, Desktop, and cab hybrid modes.  Updated physics, drop targets, flippers, dynamic shadows, and lots of other updates to the VPW standards.  Also added 3D inserts, updated lighting, the latest VPW physics, sounds, sling corrections and GI brightness and fading routines. Some other various fixes done. I also updated the desktop backglass as well as the VR backglass and other VR options. There are also some performance improvements, and  I added a playfield mesh for upper and lower playfields, so there's a realistic bevel in the saucers.  Significant changes were done overall, as the original table wasn't sized to the Williams era sizes.  That resulted in nearly changing everything, lights, walls, ramps, etc.

There are several options in the script.  Including VR, ball brightness, and LUT lighting options.  Since this table heavily relies on the usage of the magnasave buttons, the LUT changes are done by holding cntl (or left mangasave) and then while holding, scroll through the options with the right magnasave.

This is a hybrid table, and it will automatically choose between desktop and cabinet, however, if you are playing in VR, you MUST change VR_Room to 1 in the script.   Additional options in the script include two VR environments, a VR clock, and settings for dynamic shadows if you experience a performance hit.

Thanks again to everyone that tested, provided feedback, and assisted!

  16. Johnny Mnemonic (Williams 1995) 1.0.0

This is a hybrid table. So you can play in DT, FS or VR.

    What happened so far...
A few months ago, someone asked me on Facebook, if I could convert the "Johnny Mnemonic" table to VR.
Although I prefer to do the older tables of the 70s and 80s, I started with the table.
Unfortunately, it has the wrong dimensions and therefore many objects are not correct. 😒
So after a short time I lost interest in the table and dedicated myself to other projects.
But since I had the table on my hard disk, I made it playable a few weeks ago and wanted to upload it as it is.
Shortly before that, I read a message from @Sixtoe, that he will completely rebuild this table.
Thereupon it was clear to me, that my upload will be only a bad copy of it and I didn't upload it.
Again, several weeks have gone by and it doesn't look like @Sixtoe will have JM ready anytime soon.
This guy is involved in so many projects. No idea, when he sleeps. 😉
But since his release is not expected for a few weeks or months, I have now decided, to upload this version.
It is playable. And if you don't know the real table, you might not notice the wrong dimensions.
I don't like the physics, but I don't want to change them.
But since I have no further interest in the table, there will be no support for it.
If you don't like it; just wait for Sixtoe's release.

The table is made by Delano; the original table is made by Ninuzzu.

  19. Jive Time (Williams 1970)

It's official and it's only on vpuniverse.com.  The only ever released version of Jive Time on visual pinball (to my knowledge).

Version 2.0 supports desktop, fullscreen, FSS, and VR.  It comes with updated physics, a few minor rule fixes, and rendering by bord.  Definitely worth updating if you already have this table.  The download includes 2 B2S options and media.

I'm very pleased with this build.  It was a ton fun putting together and I really feel like the look and feel and game play (physics) are true to the real table.  I tried to simulate the actual mechanical behavior of the machine and I'm very happy with the end result.

Options (at the top of the script):

VR Room: 0 - desktop, FSS, or Fullscreen (default), 1 - VR room
Balls per game: set to 3, 5 (default), or 10
West gate: 0 - keeps gate open until end of ball (default), 1 - will close when award is scored
Reset Bonus : 0 - bonus carries over to next game (default), 1 - Reset bonus each game (for competition)
Restore game: 0 - will begin in game over at restart (default), 1 - remembers where you left off and will resume on restart
Experimental Slings:  0 - use traditional sling physics, 1 - use new sling physics using flippers that I think provides more realistic rebound angles, I believe kiwi originally came up with this idea (default)
Chimes:  0 - DOF chimes disabled (default), 1 - DOF chimes enabled

This table uses two bells.  The sounds were pulled from the actual machine and they are somewhat unique to this table, chimes don't feel right.

This download contains everything you should need.  FSS, FS, DT, POV, B2S, and media.  There are two backglasses, one with a border to help make the spinner wheel a little more proportional on a wide screen.
For those that haven't tried FSS yet, I encourage you to try at least one game of this table in FSS mode.  Turn your screen to portrait, click the FSS box, then click the Test Desktop box.  While I will mostly play this on my cab, the FSS version is by far my favorite.  I feel like I'm sitting in front of the machine.  Check out the EM Reels and spinner (same as desktop).

    Credits:

Playfield: rothbauerw (redraw/clean-up), bord (stitch, and very well done!)
    Plastics: rothbauerw, bord
    Backglass: rothbauerw
    Render: bord
    B2S: rothbauerw, STAT, randr
    Primitives: bord, 32assassin, kiwi, acronovum
    Misc: borgdog, loserman, randr, acronovum
    Sound package: Fleep
Original VR Room: Basti, Rawd, Rascal, Steely

  20. Jimi Hendrix V1

If like me you are a fan of Jimi, I hope you will enjoy discovering this musical table.

BIG THANKS to JPSalas for these tables and for allowing them to modify their Iron Maiden Stern 1981 table.
He confessed to me being a fan of jimi too

It is a musical table so you can change the song during the game with the magna save if you are equipped, look in the options of the script.
    You can also add some!

Be careful, this table can cause intense pleasure and a furious desire to get high 🙃

others to thank: JPSalas, Pinuck, hauntfreaks, Borgdog, Arngrim
in addition to the "standard" keys (typically "1" to start game and "5" for coin), I've added "3" as another coin input and "4" for coin and auto-start game (like I recall the dime slots generally were) to simulate 3 coin slots
when game is not in progress, holding down left flipper for about 3-5 seconds will bring up the options menu. left flipper selects item, right flipper changes option.
I've also included shadows for the ball and flippers. If you want to turn them off look for these lines at the beginning of the script:
    Const ShadowFlippersOn = true
    Const ShadowBallOn = true
change to false if you want either of the shadows not showing on your tables
