South Park VPinMAME Alt Sound Clip Mod
This is a drop in replacement alt sound file for the South Park table.
It restores the unrated "Suck My A$$" sound clip when you drop in credits. It just didn't seem right to leave this classic line bleeped out, so I took the liberty of fixing it.
This file will restores the unbleeped credit sound clip for the South Park table via a quick file swap.
Installation Instructions:
If you want to uncensor your table, follow these quick steps:
Navigate to your standard VPinMAME alt sound directory.
The default path is typically: C:\vPinball\VisualPinball\VPinMAME\altsound
Open the South Park folder named sprk_103.
Locate the original file named 0xFEA1-unlabeled_ipane.ogg and make a backup copy of it just in case.
Drop the new replacement file into the folder and confirm the file overwrite.
Enjoy all the A$$ you can!

Installation guide:
- Unzip folder to your \VisualPinball\VPinMAME\altsound directory
- Boot-up the table and hit F1
- Change "Alt. Sound Mode (0-3)" from 0 to 1
- Restart table and....your good 2 go 👌
Theres some different releases out there, my current choice: "Torpedo Alley (Data East 1988) V2.2 - JPJ - DOZER - TeamPP - ChuckyPOV" amazing recreation

Resident Alien Original (2024) - Altsound - BO

Description
This package updates the original soundtrack of the TV series used on the table, adding some new tracks and improving the overall music selection.
The work has been done with the permission of the table’s creator, Icepinball, and is intended to better match the atmosphere and pacing of the game.
Installation
Download the .zip file.
Unzip it.
Place the extracted folder directly into your Music folder of Visual Pinball X (VPX).
Example:
…\Visual Pinball\Music\
Make sure VPX is closed while copying the files, then restart the game and launch the table.

Original table: Icepinball
Updated music pack / soundtrack refresh: JRVirtual34 (altsound/music update)
Feel free to tweak it if you want to add the exact table name or your alias.

Funhouse Altsound 2 Pack
Let's try to put a little more "FUN" in Funhouse
This has always been one of my favorite tables. But let's face it, the sound has always been pretty messy.
I have done my best to clean up good old Rudy's callouts and table sounds, but don't expect miracles.
Short of getting the original recordings, hiring a voice actor, this is it.
Also included is a brand new version with "text to speech" callouts.
I tried to get as close to the originals as possible. I am very pleased with the results.

Elvira and the Playboy Mansion (altsound)

This mashup is something I threw together while working on the Playboy altsound. Kind of a "what if Elvira and the Party Monsters crashed the party at Playboy Mansion" sort of thing.
To be clear, this release is NOT a table mod, it's an altsound. The preview is essentially the Stern Playboy table, but with a few images of Elvira swapped in for the demo. The images used are included with the altsound.
The folder is playboys, but if you want to try the altsound without affecting the original game, I suggest the following:
1. Rename the folder to elvirapb
2. Add this to VPMAlias.txt:
elvirapb,playboys
3. Make a copy of the VPX table and open the table script. Look for
OptRom = "playboys"
and change it to
OptRom = "elvirapb"

Playboy (Stern 2002) altsound

This is an altsound of Stern's Playboy. Using the original sound package over at http://altsound.vpin24.com/ as a base, I decided to change it - mainly to change the default music. It's something I wanted to do for myself, but decided to upload it today in case anyone is interested.
EDIT - temporarily removed preview links as I need to re-organize my cloud storage. No changes to the altsound itself.

I wanted a different 60''s vibe ost for this table, so i just did it. It's 90% complete, but i haven't touch it for months, so i decide to release this current version. Put it to your altsound folder in vpinmame and set 1 in your vpinmame rom menu for sound.

Maverick Data East german altsound

This is my first attempt on a sound mod, i own the original table and love to play it but disliked the original sound.
Because the table is western themed and i love the oldscool sounds of Terence and Bud i tried my best to combine.
Thx to vpw to bring this table to a brilliant vpx quality.
I hope u like and enjoy my little addon.
Installation:
just extract in your Altsound folder and set Altsound mode to 1 in Vpinmame table menu (F1).
I only used shortcuts from internet and hope there is no copyright violation 😉

Altsound Godzilla Limited Edition

Update Info. It can be used with the new VPW Godzilla Table as well as previously mentioned Marty02 and Hauntfreaks Table(s)
This is a direct replacement of Files for the Godzilla Altsound by Bbrice66.
You will have to download the Altsound -Godzilla (Sega 1988) file from bbrice66.
After unzip of bbrice66 Altsound place the files from this download into same folder and overwrite.
This altsound can be used for the VPW Godzilla Table as well as the Tables by Marty02 or the mod table
by Hauntfreaks to add additional enjoyment. You will even here the famous
Raymond Burr quote.
The more you play different sound tracks you will hear.

this is a customized sound mod set for the lotr vpw 1.6.
it's a package of WAV audio files for sound manager import (custom target,ball ,wall hits,drops,slings - bumpers. etc;some of them remaining unchanged tough)
i'm also using this for other vpw tables and are coming directly from real flipper recordings .
i used to have the lotr special edition and thanks to the amazing job from the vpw team,i was able
to enjoy it again.

altsound Batman forever Alt sound

This is my first attempt on a sound mod, don't hesitate to provide feedback to help me improve.
I love this table but I think the 8-16 bit like music style is horrible here !
So i try to add some "epic feeling" in this table
it's an Altsound, maybe if i have the motivation, i'll update to Gsound
I don't have touched Voices and callout, only the music (and maybe one or two other things)
Installation Notes:
extract in your Altsound folder and set Altsound mode to 1 in Vpinmame table menu (F1).
Included in the download, you'll find a convenient .CSV file and a .ini file.
Works with batmanf501 modified rom (should also work with batmanf, but i haven't tested yet)
