Glad to bring you my second g-sound project. This one has been in the works for quite a while. Sega tables have been tricky to decipher the way the MPU handles sound calls but I think I've finally figured it out. I try to recreate the original faithfully however if you find an issue please let me know in the comments. What does OST Remastered mean? Original Soundtrack remastered means I used the original source of the dialogue and soundtrack then edited to match the sound design of the original table as best I could. Featuring: -NEW Music (Original TV Score) -NEW Callouts (Original TV Dialogue) -Updated Sound Design Elements Installation Notes: Place the download in your Altsound folder and set Altsound mode to 1 in Vpinmame table menu (F1). Included in the download, you'll find a convenient .CSV file, just like before, and now, a separate .ini file. No need to touch the included .ini file. Everything is set. Update Info. It can be used with the new VPW Godzilla Table as well as previously mentioned Marty02 and Hauntfreaks Table(s) This is a direct replacement of Files for the Godzilla Altsound by Bbrice66. You will have to download the Altsound -Godzilla (Sega 1988) file from bbrice66. After unzip of bbrice66 Altsound place the files from this download into same folder and overwrite. This altsound can be used for the VPW Godzilla Table as well as the Tables by Marty02 or the mod table by Hauntfreaks to add additional enjoyment. You will even here the famous Raymond Burr quote. Edit: As of Sept 30, 2023, idigstuff released an altsounds 2 package for this table. Go get that one. I'll leave this up for now but idigstuff has the skill to make older altsounds obsolete. Thanks everyone for liking this one for a couple of years! This is an altsound conversion of the amazing pinsound package by Julian42 featuring high quality GnR songs and enhanced sounds. Does not required pinsound studio to play Instructions: unzip gnr_300 folder with files into vPinMAME/altsound folder (create the folder if you haven't already), start table, hit F1, and change alt sound mode to 1. Exit table and restart. Changes from original pinsound package: original pinsound had random song choices for various modes, I don't know how to do random in altsound so I chose the songs I like best (idigstuff has provided instructions so I will be revising it when I can, this will be updated here when finished) Issues: Some modes may still play rom songs Youtube search Guns and Roses pinsound to see if you like it. -

This mashup is something I threw together while working on the Playboy altsound. Kind of a "what if Elvira and the Party Monsters crashed the party at Playboy Mansion" sort of thing. To be clear, this release is NOT a table mod, it's an altsound. The preview is essentially the Stern Playboy table, but with a few images of Elvira swapped in for the demo. The images used are included with the altsound. The folder is playboys, but if you want to try the altsound without affecting the original game, I suggest the following: 1. Rename the folder to elvirapb 2. Add this to VPMAlias.txt: elvirapb,playboys 3. Make a copy of the VPX table and open the table script. I know there's a few caddyshack Altsounds already, but I thought I'd make my own. This is based upon using most of the songs from the soundtrack. The only one that was not used was "Lead the Way", but songs that are used are - 1) "I'm Alright" - Kenny Loggins 2) "Boogie Wonderland" - Earth, Wind & Fire 3) "Divine Intervention" 4) "Something on Your Mind" (Instrumental) - Hilly Michaels 5) "Make the Move" - Kenny Loggins 6) "Marina" 7) "Mr. Night" - Kenny Loggins 08) "The Big Bang" 9) "There She Goes!" 10) "Any Way You Want It" - Journey Included is two sections of quotes from Bill Murray and Rodney Dangerfield (HOWEVER, only Bill Murrays bit is on the shooter section as Rodney's is the ball drain theme and it made it even more funnier as it plays his characters car horn when you drain the ball!) as well as the Chicken Dance, however, I have sped it up 2x-4x in the "2, 3 and 4" music. Edit: Some reason as a few people on here and on the facebook group I am in (hey guys! XD), have said that the music is quite low, so apologies for that. -

Balrog's theme starts quiet, but it does kick in about a minute into the battle, somewhere down the line I might revisit this altsound and edit the "Khazad-Dum" song so it kicks in once you start the Balrog fight. Unfortunately because I'm absolute bad at this table, I have only managed to check out some songs like Fellowship Multiball or the Ring Mission: Ents.- 2 comments

Hey everyone. I'm needing some help with my recent mod release of Catacomb. There are some awful persistent sounds while playing and I don't want to turn the sounds off via F1. I'd rather keep most of the sounds and then just replacing the most annoying ones or silencing them out. I've loaded up pinmame and launched catacomb. I just don't know how to find the files and then of course extract them creating an altsound.csv. Currently I'm trying to just let it go through the whole thing by pressing F6, but I'm 600+ files in right now and still no audio. What to do from here? -

Now i think a lot of you doesnt have it, and, why not to reload it in Vpuniverse, now for me the reference web of virtual pinball. There is two versions of the puppack: - the original created in spanish version (thanks to Oker for the artworks) - the english version,(thanks to Deathinc) Furthermore, i have made an altsound file, to avoid the same voices sounds together in the rom and the puppack The pupoptions are for diferent configurations (2 screens, 3, etc...) I have made this puppack only for fun and all the rights of the film are property of NewlineCinema. Im a fanboy of all the LOTR products, and when i did this puppack was the first, and i thought this table is more fun whit it. I will hope you enjoy it!
