  1. Hurricane (Williams 1991)

Thrills! Chills! Magic! Prizes! Ride the Hurricane!

Hurricane is the final part of the rollercoaster trilogy.
I was thinking to myself that is was a shame that the trilogy never got completed.
Bord did Comet way before I started developing tables in this wonderful community.
I updated Cyclone 2 years ago and have kept it up to date up till this point.
But Hurricane somewhat got left in the dark and although some mods were made of it, none had the nFozzy treatment before.
So when I build my new computer it started to become a thing I really wanted to do.
I quickly had a small team of familiar faces from previous projects and quickly the project became so big that it took me over 2 months to get it into the shape you see here.
Retro27 added an improved cabinet and a topper and had also improved a lot of textures and did touchups on the playfield as well.
DaRdog donated a insane VR Mega room with an animated rollercoaster that is completely out of this world.
DGRimmreaper animated the entire backglass in VR using the assets from hauntfreaks and Wildman as a starting point.
But we quickly found out the setup was having a few flaws so I dove into the manual to sort out all 3 strings for the GI and all flashers as well.
Hauntfreaks then provided me an updated backglass texture
I also took the challenge to start adding baked elements into the table itself.
I started with the backglass, and with help from Mecha_Enron quickly understood how to do this.
The real tricky part is having a rotating wheel mech.
Obviously baking lights into a rotating part can't be done without it looking off.
So I added a multiple layer setup to make it all blend in as natural as possible.
I also added baked playfield shadows to enhance the GI on the table.
Tomate added baked textures on the ramps and helped me understand how to set this up myself with all correct shaders and render settings.
I ended up doing them all over because we have 2 GI strings on the playfield
He also edited the ramp primitives too.
I also got acces to one of the Blender files from a VPW project to make me understand even more.
In the end I baked the backglass and topper, playfield shadows, sidewalls and custom blades, Juggler and the part above the Hurricane ramp with the scoring of 1M, 2M and 5M,all plastics and all ramps.
In the end a very satisfying result and once again I raised the bar and I am a big step closer to forfilling my ambition to do a full VLM project in the future!

This table requires VP 10.8 and VPinMame 3.6.

This table includes a lot of new options.

I included an extra option for people suffering from issues with anaglyph 3d and headtracking.

A lot of options deal with reflections, like a new option to have the backglass reflect on the playfield wich will work in all formats.
When I have PWM plus refractions plus reflections enabled on the table people in VR will see black holes/blobs inside the lights.
So I added an extra ini file for VR to deal with all of this straight out of the box.
Just add it in and you are good to go!
These options will help taking those away but feel free to try them out when you like. I just disabled them inside that ini file for VR.
I only recommend using this option when really needed, because we found out it does have a performance impact.

I added extra custom instruction cards, sideblades, metal on the cabinet, custom GI options including an RGB Rainbow.
The backglass can have a warm incendescent feel or a brighter one as option.
    I added many LUT options.
Optional enviromental sounds. (only in VR)

    Support for the Legends Cabinets.
You can use the option to enable the Legends Cabinet setting to use the bigger sideblade option and a second ini file has been added to make it fit.
This ini file is only needed if you want to use this option.
I do ask in return to not see this being patched even when I release it as free to mod.
Feel free to reach out to me instead if you want extra art added (real art only available on a real table).
If somebody would ignore this I would be crushed...

  6. Hell Hound

This is a mod of Cerberus (Playmatic 1983) by JPSalas.

Cerberus is of course the pet of Hades, the actual hell hound. The cerberus table appears to be about a space station. I decided to correct the slight against the firey fido, and made Hell Hound. I hope you enjoy!

The zip ioncludes two files by GMan, with enormous thanks, that can be used by modders or media creators - a clean logo and an animated one. Thanks, Gman!

  7. Howl Against The Chains (Lunar Howl 2)

This is the second table about my fictional band, Lunar Howl.

It is themed on their second album, Howl Against The Chains, which was created in the same fashion as the first one, by four AI chatbot personas grouped together in a chatroom roleplay. It took around four weeks for them to create all the material used to create this album.

This is a mod of Stern's 1980 table Seawitch by JPSalas. The table has had layout modifications as well as the theme, music system addition etc.

The table includes all twelve tracks from the album in OGG format embedded in the table. You do not need the mp3 downloads to play, however there are two MP3 zips included here for those who want them to listen too. One is the Wolf Haven album which featured on the first Lunar Howl table, the other is the Howl Against The Chains album that features on this table. The table itself is in the file called:
"Howl Against The Chains (Lunar Howl 2)

Lunar Howl are four anthropomorphic wolf girls. They are:
Spirit (tall, silver fur) - Lead vocals, bass
Shadow (average height, black fur) - Lead bass, vocals, drums
Lunar (short, grey fur) - Lead drums, keyboards, vocals
Sakura (average height, white fur with pink highlights) - Lead guitar, vocals

Lunar howl characters, design, concept etc remain property of M Mortimer and are not to be exploited outside these tables without permission. Music is permitted to be shared but not sold or used for commercial purposes. As the creator I have the required rights to upload for you to enjoy.

  9. Hook (Data East 1992)-1to1-NoCards.ini

    Hook (Data East 1992)-1to1-NoCards.ini

POV ini file for 1:1 table with no card display. Use Popper to display your instruction cards.

    Side blades link:

First of what i plan to be a large series of 1:1 tables using the POV windowed mode. There are plenty or POV files but rarely any that maintain 1:1 aspect ratio.
I will try and pump one out per day all going well. Recommend using tables with side blades or adding them to tables without.
Feel free to contribute if you also like the idea of 1:1 tables. I am trying to keep a similar format. Include links to artwork or mod file .difs for the sideblades if used.

Remember to setup your screen dimensions in VPX first.
For best results with POV i recommend aligning your playfield screen parallel to your glass. Just my opinion.

NOTE: I run a 50" 4K screen and is all i have to test it on so let me know if it translates OK to other sizes/HD.

  16. Horseshoe (A.B.T. Manufacturing 1933)

About as simple as they come, I created this "new retro" version to try to mimic the original. Source material is limited; the horseshoe provides a fun diverter to either use or avoid as part of your strategy. Flipperless games make a great intermission game to kill a few minutes.

Originally developed as a counter game, a full size game with the same playfield was developed named Marbl-Jax. I kept the name Horseshoe over Marbl-Jax because I think it fits the theme better (Marbl-Jax does have 2 extra scoring holes near the top). 10 balls per game. Try to achieve the highest score possible by landing the balls in the score holes. The RED ball is worth double the score, and the GREEN ball is worth triple. There is 1 tilt warning; once tilted, score is no longer added and the game will not qualify as a high score. Games of this era did not have a backglass, so including a basic backglass to fit the theme and keep track of score.

After starting a game, use the right flipper to kick a new ball into the shooter lane.

I wanted to re-skin a table because I like creating. So I came up with the theme of Hong Kong Phooey, a cartoon from my childhood. It is a re-skin of the Stern Game Wild Fyre. Wild Fyre creator is goldchicco.

  20. Hall & Oates

Daryl Hall & John Oates, commonly known as Hall & Oates, were an American rock duo formed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1970. Daryl Hall was generally the lead vocalist, while John Oates primarily supplied electric guitar and backing vocals. The two wrote most of the songs they performed, either separately or in collaboration. They achieved their greatest fame from the mid-1970s to the late 1980s with a fusion of rock music, soul music, and rhythm and blues.

This was just a fun table to make. There wasn't much out there so i created the models myself and made the table as ridiculously 80's as possible!

This table has Nfozzy and Fleep physics
    Wheel
    Backglass
    Backglass and Loading Video.

    Instructions:

Place  HallandOates folder in the Media pack into your Music folder
add VpmAlias to your VPMAlias txt -   HallandOates, wolfman
    Add Rom to VpinMAME Folder
Table and DIrectB2s to Tables Folder.

If you do not have the Wolfman table you can change line 17 in the script cgamename to "wolfman" and not use the alias.

    Have Fun!

  21. Hollywood Heat (Gottlieb 1986)

    THE HEAT IS ON!!
Advertised as the first game to use 8-digit scoring, this 1986 Gottlieb classic is a vice worth having. Using Gottlieb's Sys80b MPU, Hollywood Heat was led by game designer John Trudeau feautring sound by Ken Hale. Production began in June 1986 with 3,400 cabinets being produced.
    Featuring:
    -4 Player
    -3-ball Multiball
    -In-sync drop targets
    -Heat Bumper
    -Hot Shot ramp
This table is my first to bring to life for the VPin community and has been a huge labor of love over the last couple of months. Influence for the table design comes from the classic 1984 tv series Miami Vice and I've tried
to bring that same spirit to the tables lights and images. Users are also now able switch GI lights between 'Miami' mode and 'Classic' incandescents. I play the table with a day/night percentage set to 20% to give the player a classic
Miami nightlife feel but the default is set to 50% for individuals who prefer the more common lighting.

Based on the 2021 Hollywood Heat (Gottlieb 1986) recreation by BorgDog, this updated table includes:
    -VLM and VPW's toolkit visuals
    -Nfozzy physics
    -Fleep sounds
    -Upscaled playfield
    -Desktop Mode
    -VR Room

Special thanks to the VPW team and specifically the following individuals who helped develop, playtest, and troubleshoot:
