  2. Lady Luck (Bally 1986)

Thanks to destruk for its VP8 version, and to Xenonph for its conversion to VP9 and rotation for FS.
This table caught my attention, because I like the subject that inspires it, and because it seemed to me that I needed a VPX version since the versions there are from several years ago.
I started recreating the playfield, based on images I got on the internet, which I used as a model to recreate everything, since this is a complete recreation, the table was made in 4k as all my last tables, the only detail that did not fit so well is the plastic where the girls appear, I could not get any better image and recreate that would have taken me a lot more time, I hope someone wants to make a mod of this table improving those graphics.
Well I hope you enjoy it and as you know if you find any errors or something that you think could be improved, leave your query on the table support site

  6. Laser Ball (Williams 1979)

Table based on Laser Ball Williams 1979.

After a long time I can recreate a table and one that several years ago I wanted to do because my pincab is made on the basis of a laser ball that I bought some 5 years ago and that I was able to rescue the plastic that was the only thing that served, but I was missing a Playfield with good quality, a week ago browsing the web I found one with a quality that exceeds excellent and I am motivated to recreate it.
I am quite out of date with the scene, I apologize if it is not up to the new techniques.

The image of the apron and the spinners are from the version of allknowing2012.

PD: The table recreates in a couple of days because I'm on vacation if they find a bug I will try to fix it as soon as possible.

    Cheers,
    Javier..

  7. Laser Cue (Williams 1984) w VR Room

A version of Laser Cue VPX was originally done by Goldchicco, however in this release, most everything was done or redone once again, as the original table size was incorrect, and the playfield he used was high rez, but wasn't aligned correctly.  This required me to completely redo everything like I did on Jungle Lord and Barracora. Thank you to Hauntfreaks for helping with the initial playfield image.  He used his magic to get it upscaled and enhanced.  I then got the text looking good, as well as various color mods.

This is another early 80's Williams table like Black Knight, Solar Fire, Jungle Lord, Pharaoh, etc.  This has a very basic ruleset, but good game play, Table instructions are included in the Table info section.  Laser Cue is a four flipper game from 1984, and features an unusual “billiards in space”, science-fiction theme.  The game is equipped with a bell that rings when billiard balls are collected or extra balls achieved. The main bank of drop targets are individually controlled, and must be collected in the indicated order to remain dropped. Extra ball play guarantees the player twenty-five seconds of play time, serving all lost balls within that time back to the shooter lane. (excerpt from Pinside).

Since the table is basic, there were essentially two ways the table was set up to play... easy and hard.  I have it defaulted to HARD.  There is an option in the script to make it easy.  (Easy mode adds a rail between the right two flippers.   const FlipperGuideHard =    "0" is the easy setting, and adds a guard rail between right flippers. "1" removes it. (Default is "1" / hard).

Included in this Version 2.0 is Hybrid VR/desktop/cabinet modes, new upscaled playfield and plastics, VPW physics, flipper tricks, dynamic shadows, Fleep sounds, Lampz, 3D inserts, new general illumination lighting, sling corrections, drop and stand-up targets, etc.  Significant time was spent on researching online videos, to ensure accuracy of shots, ball drops, and overall playability.  I also created a desktop backglass with a cool lighting effect, as well as the VR backglass and other VR options. There are also some performance improvements.

I would like to thank the VPW team for testing and feedback (especially Hauntfreaks, Apophis, Tastywasps, PinStratsDan and all others who tested!) Also thanks for prior assistance on items used in this table, including Tomate (lower rail prim), Goldchicco, and the rest of the VPW team!

There are several options in the script.  Including VR, ball brightness, LUT lighting options, and you can turn the bell off if you don't like that sound. Also, you can set the difficulty level, and the volume of the bell.

The LUT changes are done by holding cntl (or left mangasave) and then while holding, scroll through the options with the right magnasave.
This is a hybrid table done in VPX 10.72, and I have code in here to automatically choose between VR, desktop, and cabinet.   Additional options in the script include two VR environments, a VR clock, a topper, posters, and settings for dynamic shadows if you experience a performance hit.

Thanks again to the VPW team for feedback!

  8. Laser War (Data East 1987) w VR Room

Laser War!  This table was originally done by Herwey (with help from others noted in the script), and he gave me the permission to add all the latest physics, sounds, etc. to this fun table.  Thank you very much, Herwey!  It's a fun yet challenging table.  Testers have indicated that the balls falling to the drain is tough, but acts identical to a real table.  So, you might need to work on your nudging technique to save the ball from draining.

I did quite a few updates in version 2.0 mentioned below (and detailed in the vpx script), essentially getting up to the latest VPW physics and sounds, 3D inserts, and other corrections, and making it a hybrid table (desktop, cabinet, and VR).  Also thank you to all the testers on the VPW team for testing, feedback, and suggestions for improvement:  Tomate (fixed ramp and wall primitives), Sixtoe (upper right wall placement), leojreimroc (VR backglass enhancements), and then AstroNasty, PinStratsDan, Smaug, and Rajo Joey for testing and feedback!

If you are playing in VR... you MUST select VR_Room = 1 in the script!!  Desktop and Cabinet mode should be automatic.

There are several options to select in the script, including ball brightness, sidewalls and blades, color mods, GI and Flasher options, VR Room, VR clock, VR posters, VR topper.  GI mods and ramp color can be changed by clicking the right and left magna save buttons if you have that option on in the script as well.

IF YOU experience performance issues... there are options you can try to change that.  First of all, you can uncheck "Reflect Elements on Playfield in the table options window.  Also, you can turn dynamic shadows off for additional performance if needed.  Also, you can turn off In-Game AO, Post-proc AA, and 4xAA on the table options.

    Version 2.0 Updates include:
    - Implemented the table to a hybrid (desktop, cab, and VR), and has options for ball brightness.
    - Added VR to include an animated backglass (image from Wildman), and several VR options (room, poster, clock, topper).  (Thanks to Sixtoe's VR templates). Also animated all the flippers, plunger, etc.  And thanks to leojreimroc for backglass enhancements.
    - The table and flipper physics have been updated to the latest VPW standards, as well as dynamic shadows, standup targets, ramprolling sounds, sling corrections, and several other tweaks.
    - Fleep sounds added, as well as relay sounds.
    - Added Flupper domes.
    - Adjusted the flippers to be actual size, and tweaked the flipper physics.
    - Added 3D insert primitives and tuned the lighting significantly for those.  Lots of work on the playfield cutouts, and associated text layer.
    - Changed lamp control to VPW Lampz.
    - Corrected some errors in the table.
    - Adjusted the lighting levels, and GI overhead.
    - Tomate fixed an issue with the ramp and wall primitive... as it wasn't built correctly in blender.
    - Enhanced performance as much as I could by removing all getballs calls and no longer destroy and recreate balls.  I implemented only the gBOT global call.
    - Updated the trough code to manage all balls on the table.
    - Created new background for desktop mode, with animated lighting.
    - And so many other updates, all documented in the script.

Once again thank you to Herwey, the VPW team, especially Tomate, AstroNasty, Sixtoe, PinStratsDan, Smaug, leojreimroc, and Rajo Joey for testing, feedback, and some updates!

  10. Last Action Hero Balutito MOD

hello to all, I retouched the playfield of the LAH table because I found the drawing a bit average.
I  therefore propose this version which perfectly respects the original. I also took over the plastics and the textures.
The original table is that of @SG1bsoN , its work is really superb. Also thanks to him and Thank's to Fransisco666, Javier  who work on this table before

  11. Last Starfighter, The (Taito, 1983)

Last Starfighter, The (Taito, 1983) v1.01 PUP and Non-PUP (VPX7.2 Required)
    by Xenonph and HiRez00

    Original VPX table by JPSalas
Graphics, PUP Videos, and Animations by HiRez00
    Backglass and Wheels by HiRez00
Gunstar Ship 3D Toy by DonRutler
Sounds and extra lighting by Xenonph

This is a graphics and sound mod of Fire Action De Lux (Taito 1983) v4.0.

THIS TABLE IS DEDICATED TO MY BROTHER DAN!!!

This table is based on a SciFi movie named "The Last Starfighter" made in 1983.
While TRON stole most of the thunder just the year before for groundbreaking special effects, The Last Starfighter was made with the best special effect technology at the time.
It is also a great story!! What video game junkies only dream about!!
Being recruited to a space force because you are good at playing a video game!!!
(I am still waiting for Skywalker to come pick me up, as I am a damn good X-Wing pilot on Playstation!! lol)
Anyways, Video Game master gets recruited to spaceforce, saves the world and possibly the galaxy!!
    Who wouldn't love it!!

    There are 2 versions available.
All of the following changes are on both versions, except the Pup version has animated apron videos.

    v1.01 PUP and Non-PUP
Moved the "holes" for the right slingshot from the playfield, to under right slingshot.
Added a lighting effect "under" the explosions animations.
Added holes and wood areas in the playfield under the 6 targets.
Added a very light "shadow" to the playfield art for the plastics.
Re-worked the apron preparing it for the pup version.
Translated the instruction card to english and moved it to the right.
Shifted some art around on the apron to accommodate.
Added "white" under the plastics on the playfield, and adjusted some lights to line up in the holes.
Made the wire thickness of the roll-overs thinner.
Ball Shadows were playing on exact same plane as playfield, so script was editted and there is no flickering now.
Added Pup Videos that are played on the apron. Put the pup pack in your PupVideos folder.

    v1.0
Added 156 sound FX and Music.
    Added Fluppers Flashers.
Backwall graphics can be toggled with the Buy-In key. (2 key)
LUT's toggled with Left and Right Magna-Save keys.
DonRutler made a 3D Gunstar Ship.
HiRez00 added 2 explosion animations and did all graphics.
An animated Apron version is in the works so stay tuned!

    Acknowledgements and Thanks:
I first would like to thank JPSalas for allowing mods without permission. (I asked his permission anyways)
I would also like to thank him for making a great table!!!
This table was made in the same year as the movie!!
I used his version 4.0 for this mod.
There is much more important info on original download page.
He put in alot of time and work on the original table, and it is appreciated!! So if you like this mod, I would encourage you to thank the original author of the table, as I have only made a few changes!

I also would like to thank STAT for his "Team Change script", which my script is based on.
I also would like to thank Steve "Slydog43" for which these VPX mods would not be possible!!

Place LStarfighter folder in your music folder located where you installed Visual Pinball.
Be sure to restart table after starting table for first time as flippers may stick on first start of table on your setup.
(You should do this with all new tables you are trying out for first time to avoid weird table behaviour.)

  12. Last Starfighter, The (Taito, 1983) hybrid

This is a hybrid non-pup mod of The Last Starfighter reskin of Jp's original Taito 1983 Fire Action Deluxe by Xenonph and HiRez00. All credits are the same as their release and you need to download their release to get all the additional files included. Here is a link to their table download. All the features and options that are in Xenonph's and HiRez00's release still apply to this update.
    https://vpuniverse.com/files/file/13479-last-starfighter-the-taito-1983/

This release is only a update table file that includes four views which are Desktop, Fullscreen, Fullscreen Single Screen, and VR (with two VR Room choices, arcade sphere and trailer court general store/gas station). There are options near the top of the script for making changes with descriptions for what they do.

Special thanks go out to Xenonph and HiRex00 for allowing me permission to update the table.
Thanks to jpsalas for the Fire Action Deluxe table.
Thanks to all the contributors to the table over time.
Thanks to the VPW crew for VR room stuff.
Thanks to Rawd for being Rawd and a good friend.

    Artwork done by GNance
    Original art by Popotte
others to thank: JPSalas, Pinuck, hauntfreaks, Borgdog, Arngrim
in addition to the "standard" keys (typically "1" to start game and "5" for coin), I've added "3" as another coin input and "4" for coin and auto-start game (like I recall the dime slots generally were) to simulate 3 coin slots
when game is not in progress, holding down left flipper for about 3-5 seconds will bring up the options menu. left flipper selects item, right flipper changes option.
I've also included shadows for the ball and flippers. If you want to turn them off look for these lines at the beginning of the script:
    Const ShadowFlippersOn = true
    Const ShadowBallOn = true
change to false if you want either of the shadows not showing on your tables

  14. Lectronamo (Stern 1978)

Based on initial stuff (v0.9) by 32assassin
    v1.0 (January 3rd, 2024):
    - reworked red lights on playfield: now dark red when unlit.
    - Fixed the 3rd light near spinner: now white (like real machine), instead of red.

The zip archive provides two .nv (NVRam) files, in order to be coherent with scoring & instruction cards on apron:
    - One .nv file is set with high score to date to 0 point.
    - Second is set with (realistic) high score to date to 880,000 points.
Beating high score to date gives 3 replays (cannot be disabled on this machine).

Simply copy provided lectrono.nv file you'll want to use (it's optional), to VPinMAME\nvram subfolder.

This table is saved by using VPX v10.7.3 (32-bit).

This mod requires the Pup Pack. You can find the link to download the updated Pup Pack at the top of the script as well.

I added 3 Pup Pack Options in the root of the Pup Pack folder (Led Zeppelin)
Option 1 - VR_Color_Hauntfreaks_BG (This will switch the Backglass to the Color design by Hauntfreaks that suits the color table)
Option 2 - VR_Original_BG (This will use the original backglass that suits the Black and White table)
Option 3 - Original_3_Screen_Setup (This will reset the Pup Pack back to default (For cabinet or desktop play)

I have added 2 bonus music videos to the Pup Pack as well
Rock and Roll and Black Dog

I have a music video add on pack with another 26 amazing Zeppelin songs at the link at the top.

Please take the time to acknowledge all the people involved below to make this incredible table happen in the first place.

  17. Legends of Valhalla (RyGuy417 2023) Tribute

Riot Pinball and American Pinball introduced this beauty in 2021. This is not a full recreation of that table. It's a tribute in terms of graphics and basic modes.

Rather, it is a mod of @Nesta78's rockin' Vikings table (based on the TV show), which is a mod of @ivantba's Terminator table. It also borrows some of the 3d models from @fastdraw's original submission. All necessary permissions have been obtained

For those who have played Nesta78's Vikings table, here's what's new:
New playfield based on Legends of Valhalla New 3D models and plastics; side art and back wall New scoring mode to allow for hi-scores saved and presented on the UltraDMD; user interface pops up automatically on-screen to get your initials Uses @TerryRed's DOFLinx_Effects rom to pull in DOF for the first time on this table. Flashers, matrix, fan, beacon, contactors, all should work. Any DOF masters out there--feel free to add to the script and we can share it. Pup pack uses videos pulled from playthroughs of the real thing, modified slightly to match the "simple" version represented here. 2scr and 3scr options included, with the 2scr intended to mimic the "real" experience.
Again, this is only a tribute--if you want to play the real thing, you're going to need a real table

Update 4/6/23: Added .bat overlay option for 3screen users with a RealDMD

  19. Lethal Weapon 3 (Data East 1992) VPWmod

    OK, OK, OK!
Lethal Weapon 3 table Tune-Up by VPin Workshop.
It all started by again by just thinking about adding nFozzy’s physics and some missing textures in the original table, then we started replacing some primitives and reworking the existing ones, then the apron, cabinet, metal ramp, bats and a few other things were replaced. Totally new 3d inserts. Then different lamps were added to have a better lighting of all the new baked textures and finally adding a built in VR room...

    • New/reworked primitives: tomate
    • Baked ON/OFF textures: tomate
    • Inserts: Sheltemke, oqqsan
    • Scripting: oqqsan
    • nFozzys physics: tomate, iaakki
    • Fleep sounds: apophis
    • Flashes & Lighting Overhaul: tomate, Sixtoe
    • VR Room and fixes: Sixtoe, 360 Room by pattyg234.
    • Miscellaneous tweaks: Sixtoe, tomate, oqqsan
    • Testing: Bord, Rik, oqqsan, VPW team

This release would not have been possible without the legacy of those who came before us, including most notably, Javier for the original vpx table, EBisLit for the new playfield image and 32Assassin for the rework. Thank you.
Thanks to Flupper for his beautiful domes and Bumpers caps, Rothbauerw for nFozzy physics and Fleep for sounds.

    Enjoy!

With my manual ball lift tables, you can press whatever key you have configured to start a new game (typically a "1") or the "A" key to load the ball to the shooter lane
Alternatively, in the options menu (when a game is not in play, hold the left shift key for 3 seconds to bring it up) you can set it to auto-lift the ball

  21. Linkin Park Music Table with PupPack

Linkin Park Music Table with PupPack!
I plan on redoing most of my music tables so if you have the old version of Linkin Park Pup table please delete everything before installing this one.
The zip file includes the vpx table, wheel image and the pup pack.  The puppack comes with a bunch screen options to suit your cabinet needs, just choose your bat file. You can also add your favorite Linkin Park videos to the favorites folder within the LINKINPARKPUP folder.

Shout-outs!!!!  I want to thank TeamTuga and JP salas for their work on the original table. If it wasn't for these amazing guys, I wouldn't have been able to create this table. They are the best!

    Hope you enjoy!

  24. Little Joe (Bally 1972)_Teisen_MOD

First I would like to thank Loserman76 for the beautiful work... wherever he is playing pinball!

small changes were made only aesthetically

small improvements in the playfield, plastics, lighting, flippers position...  I want to make it clear that the descriptions for the tables I'm sharing are "standard" for all, changes are made when there is a need for some adjustment.

version used, follow the link to the original table

    Adjustments made:
    - lighting and playfield lights
    - adjust targets
    - new POV
    - new metals
    - screw adjustment

Unfortunately, I don't have a description of Loserman for this table and therefore I don't know the collaborators who helped him carry out this work... So, if you participated in this, I would like to thank you and I hope you feel honored!

  25. Loch Ness Monster (Game Plan 1985)

Loch Ness Monster (Game Plan 1985)

Loch Ness Monster was the last pinball machine created by Game Plan in 1985.  The only real world version of the machine is the prototype.  Making this machine extremely rare.  The resources available for this machine is very limited.  There is no known rom and/or video of the actual game play.  The recreation of this table was started by Roccodimarco with his VP9 creation.  This was then converted to VPX by Goldchicco.  With their permission I improved the playfield with better graphics.  Recreated all of the plastics.  Made a bunch of changes to the script including scripting it for B2s.  I re-did all of the rubbers and cleaned up the playfield elements so they are properly aligned.  I really don't remember everything I did but it was pretty extensive.

The file download also includes the B2s and wheel image I created for this release.

    Enjoy!
