  1. Star Gazer (Stern 1980)(VR Room)

It is a hybrid table. You can play it in FS, DT or VR.
You have to play it in VPX 10.7!

The table was created by Felsir.
I would like to thank Felsir for allowing me to convert this table.

    Info
Felsir paint a great new playfield. I have revised the playfield a little bit more.

Also I inserted some things like nFozzy physics, Fleep sounds and dyn. ballshadows.

There are 16 LUT files in the table. You can change them with the left MagnaSave button.

You can change the VR rooms with the right MagnaSave button.

You can change the DIP settings by pressing F6 after starting the table.

  2. Spanish Eyes (Williams 1972) FS/DT VP10.1

Spanish Eyes a Williams EM table from 1972. Spent a couple or five dollars playing this table in the City Museum in St. Louis a few weeks back. I loved the layout with the bumper between the flippers. So here is a ground up VPX build.

Can thank these below enough!! Without them this table would not be possible at all.

Popotte - Artwork from the FP version.
Eala Dubh Sidhe - Original script from 2001 vp table.
Borgdog - Modification of the original script to work with VPX, Db2s backglass, and testing.
Hauntfreaks - Graphics mods, sounds, materials, and table testing.

    Thank you all again.

Hope everyone enjoys it as much as I do. If you notice any issues let me know.

Here are the rules of play.
    -5 ball play
-Light all lanes A-E for extra ball.
-Light all targets 1-6 to light special loop, hit loop for extra ball and out lanes for 5000 pts.
-Hole hit is 1000 pts for every target lit or 500 pts with none.
-Top rollover lights all bumpers for 100 pts per hit.

  3. Space Sheriff Gavan (X-Or)

Table Based on Sword of Fury (Williams 1988) by Takut, which I thank.
I intentionally left the sound of the table on, but you can mute in the script, I put whatever it takes. The music file is in the table and the B2S archive as well as the logos and the dmd background for pinball X.
A Puppack is also available in the link to display a DMD.

  4. Stripping Funny (Inder 1974)

A friend sent me a picture of herself with this pinball machine when she was little. So after some (very careful) searching I found so very little about this table and no recreations so thought I would have a go, but this could be a challenge.

After making the WIP and mostly completing the table, I found out that kanario40 and JPSalas are working on Inder Tables so I am adding this as a "Work in Progress" that is complete enough to play

The rules will be incorrect I'm sure as there is no manual or schematics. What is there I have made up from the playfield and instruction card as best as I can.

Rough backglass also included in the zip file

  5. Solar Ride (Gottlieb 1979)

    re-up of old vpinball table.

This is a mod, with permission, of LynnInDenver's Solar Ride. Started mainly to fix the playfield to be proper size and position, and did lots of other scripting, graphical and object changes/updates with much help from hauntfreaks and sliderpoint.

There are a few options at the top of the script for turning on ball and flipper shadows and changing flipper rubber color.

zip includes solaride.nv nvram file that sets the replay values to match the score cards. place in vpinmamenvram folder, as usual press F6 to change some of the rom options

  12. Solar Ride (Gottlieb, 1979)

I took 32assassin's build of Totem, and altered it to become Solar Ride. Playfield came from a French site regarding a restoration. Plastics, backglass image and machine certificate came from the machine I actually happen to have.

Do note that there is only one slingshot on the original table, and this asymmetrical layout has been duplicated in this recreation.

  13. Star Wars (Gottlieb 1978)

This is my single player wedgehead version of the pretend Gottlieb table from 1978 (yes not really a Gottlieb). I created this to go with my Star Wars themed wedgehead design virtual cabinet.  Much help from hauntfreaks and sliderpoint, and I'm sure others.

Hold down left flipper button while not in a game to bring up the options menu.

NOTE: this was made in 2016 for whatever version of VPX was out at the time, I have NOT gone through and retested everything to see if it still works correctly in 10.6 or 10.7beta.

Description pulled from wayback archive of vpinball:

This is a recreation of Gottlieb's 1978 Star Wars Wedgehead. See below the instructions for the story behind this machine.
Big thanks to hauntfreaks and sliderpoint for graphics, primitives, testing and gameplay ideas.  Graphics for the table predominately come from the 1977 Marvel comic series rendition of the Star Wars movie.  As usual several options are available through the options menu (hold left flipper before starting game).  A few more options are available in the script near the top.
    directb2s included in download
FS settings for my cab which has playfield in portrait orientation, you may need to adjust.
    Instructions:
Complete three missions to activate the tractor beam.
    1. Advance Lukes Jedi training by hitting the labeled targets.
    2. Retrieve the Death Star plans by clearing the top rollovers.
    3. Rescue the princess by blasting down the drop targets.
Once the tractor beam is active complete a trench run to lock a ball in the Death Star.
Release the tractor beam by hitting the labeled hole in R2-D2, starting Death Star multi-ball, opening the portal access, and resetting the missions.
Hit the portal within the multiballs lives to earn extra ball, or the portal closes again.

The Story of Gottlieb's 1978 STAR WARS (fan FICTION)
What was that?  You haven’t heard of one of Gottlieb’s last wedgehead pinball machines called Star Wars?  Well, not many have.  Let me take you back to a more innocent time and tell you all about it.
It was the spring of 1977, a teenage DorgBog, mild mannered alter ego to the more famous and notorious BorgDog, had just gotten home from his favorite comic store.  In his hands was Marvel’s newest release ahead of the much anticipated motion picture Star Wars.  This was the first of what was to be a 6 issue comic rendition of the movie.  DorgBog was very enthralled by this comic, and the following month by the epic space fantasy movie of the same name.  Luke, Han, R2-D2 and the rest occupied every waking moment of the young man’s mind.   This was of course before he discovered girls were more than annoyances, but I digress.
DorgBog, unknown to all but his closest confidants, was also a pinball junkie.  His meager allowance and pay from his paper route invariably wound up feeding the silver balled gods and goddesses of his favorite Gottliebs. And in young DorgBog’s mind was churning the maelstrom of a the most awesome collaboration of epic forces to ever grace the pinball world!  DorgBog was on a mission to combine the might of Marvel’s comics, Gottlieb’s pinball prowess, and Lucas’ Star Wars empire (pun intended into the greatest wedgehead known to man!
DorgBog was consumed by this idea.  Spending countless hours writing letters, on paper no less this was after all before the age of the internet and email, and begging stamps from his parents, entreating the 3 parties to consider his idea.  Young DorgBog began including sketches of his ideas for the machine including things such as a giant Death Star complete with trench run, and multiple balls in play at the same time; unheard of in Gottlieb’s vast arsenal of pinball wizardry!
Finally when DorgBog had almost given up hope after weeks and weeks of writing (that’s a long time in a young boys life). DorgBog received an envelope marked with a return address of the D. Gottlieb & Company in Northlake, Illinois.  DorgBog raced with his treasure to his tiny closet of a room, and into the closest of the tiny closet of a room, this was after all top-secret type stuff.  Upon opening the envelope young DorgBog’s heart fell, his dreams crushed with a cease and desist letter telling him to stop harassing the company, that there was no way a license deal could be arranged, and no way the pinball machine would be built.  Multiball?! Scandalous!
A few weeks later, when DorgBog was finally coming to grips with his lost dream, another letter arrived in the mail.  This one in a plain envelope and with no return address.  What he found inside rekindled his faith in humanity and restored joy to the young man.  An engineer at Gottlieb had found the discards of Dorgbog’s plans and thought them a grand idea.  So without knowledge of his supervisors this young, and also Star Wars crazed engineer, begin building a prototype table to present to his bosses and convince them it was the best idea ever!  Buying numerous copies of the comics and cutting out panels to adorn his secret project, the Star Wars wedgehead was born!
Well one was birthed, a prototype, that never did see production as Gottlieb had changed directions and was on its way to the future with computer chips and processing units, and all those other fancy terms and the single player wedgehead was to be no more.  Eventually when the young disgruntled engineer abandoned Gottlieb, he took his prototype with him, smuggled out piece by piece as there were trademark and copy write issues you know.  Feeling bad for having raised the hopes of a young pinhead, he drove through the dark and gloomy night to the home of young DorgBog and bestowed upon him the gift of the Star Wars wedgehead prototype, with the strict admonishment that it never, EVER, be seen by the general public.
DorgBog kept his promise to that engineer and kept Star Wars carefully hidden from all eyes.  Unfortunately for the mild mannered DorgBog, he was taken over by the nefarious BorgDog alter ego, who subsequently proceeded to rampage the countryside, oh and turned to the dark side of video games because by then, Asteroids, Defender, Pac Man and too many glorious glowing gems of greatness had burst upon the scene and pinball began a long decline.  DorgBog’s beloved Star Wars was lost to the annals of time, until recently when a fine aged BorgDog finally discovered the silver balled gods for himself and recalled that now decrepit machine languishing in storage.
So here, finally, after many long lost years is the long lost prototype edition of Gottlieb’s 1978 Star Wars wedgehead.  Just don’t tell Marvel or Lucas (Disney, whatever) as I’m sure they’d want in on the action.

This is a work of fiction, any resemblance to real or imagined characters is entirely coincidental.

  14. Star Action (Williams 1973) 1.1

Remember 1973? Pink Floyd’s, Dark Side of the Moon, Wings album, Band on the Run, William’s Star Action pinball machine…. No, not that last one? Here’s your chance to enjoy this table from over 50 years ago.

Star Action features a unique turntable (in playfield-center) that spins when you hit one of two posts (remind anyone of the lamp from Tales of the Arabian Nights?). Spin it to advance through the ten lights around its circumference to get Double, then Triple scoring. Wide flippers are a little more forgiving than the sometimes shorter variant you often see in older tables.

This version, 1.1, features beautiful plastics, playfield, apron — and when combined with a masterclass backglass by @hauntfreaks hopefully it makes for a top-notch EM (electro-mechanical) table worthy as an update to @loserman76’s VPX contribution.

Hold left flipper (shift) before game start for options menu. Options include:
5 ball or 3 ball play Reset high scores Change scoring values Enable/disable add a ball star mode
    Contributors include @Cliffy, @teisen, @hauntfreaks and @JCalhoun.

  15. SupermanTAS

This was my favorite release as I worked on BatmanTAS and SupermanTAS at the same time and did a duo drop on the same day. I thought it was a great surprise. I was a big fan of both of these shows when I was younger. I love the color themes on both. This was the first time I decided that I would never make a traditional table again. I loved the idea of having goals, so that you had to explore the entire table. This was the first time we added Orbital Scoreboard to my tables. There was quite a bit back and forth between Rik Laubach, Mike Minnier and myself on this one with Rik ultimately being the king. The ball saves on the outer lanes are the key to this table and have been a staple on my adventure tables (need great reflexes). Batman lit up saves one lane. Robin lit up saves the other. I also did a little voice acting in these. Finishers of all goals treating to a satisfying finish. I have updated the media on these to prevent crashes that was an issue with the original release.

  17. Space Walk (Gottlieb 1979)

Same as version that was on vpinball.com. no need to redownload if you have that one.

Here is an update to my recreation of Gottlieb's 1979 Space Walk.  This was the last em made by Gottlieb, and also has an ss version Count-Down (which is frankly a better game as the drops reset during a ball, once you get all the drops down on this one not much to do). Added scanned images of the plastics off my Count-Down, changed quite a lot of the scripting to newer methods and playfield objects, high score sticky note with initials, added more to the on-screen menu (hold down left flipper after starting table before starting a game to get to options), and other stuff
Thanks to Drybonz for testing and feedback.

  18. Solids n Stripes (Williams 1971)_Teisen_MOD

First I would like to thank Loserman76 for the beautiful work... wherever he is playing pinball!

small changes were made only aesthetically...

small improvements in the playfield, plastics, lighting, flippers position...  I want to make it clear that the descriptions for the tables I'm sharing are "standard" for all, changes are made when there is a need for some adjustment.

    - new apron
    - subtle touches to the playfield
    - lighting
    - new upper guide plastics
    - new side ramp metals, height correction
    - adjustment of the position of the holes
    - added lighting on the button between the "save ball" flippers

version used, follow the link to the original table  https://www.vpforums...showtopic=40102

Excellent work by Hauntfreaks with this B2S that goes very well with this table! Thanks Haunt.

    Description of Loserman76:

'*  hauntfreaks - newer postit note images, environment file, lighting information, primitives
'*  BorgDog - his tables that helped me to understand more with VPX - and I probably lifted a primitive or 2 from them as well
'*  GNance - score motor tweaks to behave like a real EM, PostIt routines, Options menu
    '*  JPSalas - gameroom backdrop
'*  Pinuck - Gottlieb chimes and score motor routines
'*  Arngrim - DOF coding and information
when game is not in progress, holding down left flipper for about 3-5 seconds will bring up the options menu. left flipper selects item, right flipper changes option
in addition to the "standard" keys (typically "1" to start game and "5" for coin), I've added "3" for coin and "4" for coin and auto-start game to simulate 3 coin slots
    Shadow config settings:
Look for these 2 lines near the beginning of the scripting:
    Const ShadowFlippersOn = true
    Const ShadowBallOn = true
change to false if you want either of the shadows not showing on your tables

  21. SOTN (Mephisto MOD)

This is my first completed table mod. I am just getting started with VPX and virtual pinball.

This is tribute to one of my favorite video games of all time. Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (SOTN). Originally released on Playstation 1. Filled with lots of the original sounds and artwork from SOTN.

I based this on JPSalas's amazing Mephisto table. Thanks JP for permission to mod this super fun table.

I made many little design changes and a complete reskin. Some adjustments to the rules and added features. Be sure to hit the double-jump skillshot in the plunger lane for a little bonus at the start of each ball! The ruleset is pretty easy to understand. Mostly just look for blinking lights to identify your next target!

I worked hard to iron out any bugs but I'm sure there are still some in there. Please let me know if you find anything that doesn't work properly.

    Enjoy!

  24. Space Gambler (playmatic 1978)

Space Gambler was probably the first SS game by Playmatic.
The backglass artwork depicts elements from the Star Wars movies: the droids R2-D2 and C-3PO, and TIE fighter spacecraft. Also depicted is a lady with an unusual helmet seen previously on the backglass of Gottlieb's 1976 'Target Alpha'.
Flippers (2), Pop bumpers (2), Mushroom bumpers (4), Slingshots (2), Drop targets (4), Standup targets (3), Rollover buttons (3), Spinning target (1). 3 or 5 ball play.

thanks to TAB and Destruk for the vp9 version!!!

  25. Sheriff (Gottlieb 1971)_Teisen_MOD

First I would like to thank Loserman76 for the beautiful work... wherever he is playing pinball!

small changes were made only aesthetically

small improvements in the playfield, plastics, lighting, flippers position...  I want to make it clear that the descriptions for the tables I'm sharing are "standard" for all, changes are made when there is a need for some adjustment.

version used, follow the link to the original table

    Adjustments made:

    - Playfield color correction and touch-ups
    - cap bumpers corretion (IPDB)
    - added primitive to the base of the bumpers and lighting
    - lighting
    - metals
    - screws
    - new pov
    - target adjustments
    - flippers adjustment
    - new top tabs
    - red pins (IPDB)
    - other small touches

    Loserman Description:

    VPX conversion
    Artwork done by GNance
    Original art by Popotte
others to thank: JPSalas, Pinuck, hauntfreaks, Borgdog, Arngrim
in addition to the "standard" keys (typically "1" to start game and "5" for coin), I've added "3" as another coin input and "4" for coin and auto-start game (like I recall the dime slots generally were) to simulate 3 coin slots
when game is not in progress, holding down left flipper for about 3-5 seconds will bring up the options menu. left flipper selects item, right flipper changes option.
I've also included shadows for the ball and flippers. If you want to turn them off look for these lines at the beginning of the script:
    Const ShadowFlippersOn = true
    Const ShadowBallOn = true
change to false if you want either of the shadows not showing on your tables
