    PLEASE REMEMBER TO 'THANK YOU' AND 'LIKE' THE POST.
     
    Started with a "blah" backglass image. Clean up as best as possible. Recreated title and entire grill area to match the original.
     
    If anyone ever comes up with a BETTER backglass image - then I can swap it out for the existing one.
     
    In no way is the backglass perfect, but it is "ok" quality now.
     
    I also created an "alternate" version with a different character featured.
     
    The original backglass had a single fluorescent light illuminating the whole backglass - so I did my best to keep it authentic.
     
    Backglass only has a basic simulated "TURN ON" animation.
     
    Includes grill for 2-screen users with the option to 'Hide Grill' for 3-screen / cab users. Use the Grill: Hidden feature of B2S Backglass Server to hide the grill for 3 screen users.
     
    Also included is 2 new wheel images for your front end.
     
    Be sure to "rename" the backglass to the same file name as your VPX table.

    Went ahead and made this since it was very similar to Asteroids Annie, before I found out that Wildman had already made one.
    So this ones posted with Wildman's Permission, Thanks again man for all the help.
    This is as close to authentic as I could get, after watching several Youtube videos and doing some Gimp touch up work.
    I could not find any consistency with backglass animation in the videos, I think what ther is may be user mods.
    Anyway, here is my second B2S backglass, hope you like it.

    Ok, so I decided to find some alternate sources and edit/clean up to make a new image. I also added several animation snippets to give this some life, but still subtle and not over the top. Lasers look like they are firing and targets getting hit, etc.
    LED reel is on the backglass image so you can see scores and stuff.
    This is for the original backglass, if you are looking for an alternate image backglass Laylow recently posted a really nice one.

    ATTENTION: AndyMcDandy has found if your using PinballX, you must say "NO" to the setting under "Display Settings" to auto position the B2S.... again set to NO.... 
    if your having an issue getting your 3 screens setup, ...please use this tool.... works perfect, easy to use!!  (i'm looking into issues some users are having)
    also make sure in the b2s setup "bring BG form to Top" is UNCHECKED

    the lightbox on this has a combo of incandescent bulbs and also a fluorescent tube
    it has accurate placement of these bulbs and tube

    This is a brand new high-resolution 2500px backglass for Rapid Fire (Bally 1982) with authentic lighting and coloring.
     
    Backglass has Authentic (turn on) lighting using a reverse matte from the backside of the original backglass. It also has Fantasy Mode (Select by Right Clicking the Backglass and Set Mode to 'Fantasy') that has the same turn on feature - but all an animation of the projectiles from the laser gun.
     
    Includes new high-quality Wheel as well to match the backglass.
     
    I don't think the Rapid Fire VPX table was ever DOF'ed, but Hyperball has DOF included currently. So if someone wants to DOF the Rapid Fire VPX table (someone who knows how to do it properly), and let me know, that would be greatly appreciated.

    'Rapid Fire' was Bally's response to Williams' 1981 'Hyperball'. The pre-production working name of this game was 'Cross Fire' as evidenced in Bally's "Numerical List of Machines".
     
    At Chicago Expo 2009, former President of Williams Electronics Michael Stroll said that at the time of this game's making, Williams referred to it as "Operation Xerox".
     
    Jim Patla told us that the rush to get this game to market meant that it was produced in only 6 weeks (instead of a normal one year's time) but there were problems with the gun assembly.
     
    Patla estimated that it fired at 14 balls per second which in the course of steady use caused gun failure on location. He wanted a spare gun to be included in the cash box of each shipped game but management didn't agree, saying that that would be acknowledging that the game had troubles.
     
    Leftover cabinets from this production run were used in producing the following games:
     
    'Mr. & Mrs. Pac-Man Pinball', May 1982
    'Eight Ball Deluxe Limited Edition'', October 1982
    'Centaur II', June 1983

    I really liked Unclewilly's vpx conversion (search it on VPF), so I made a fulldmd b2s version for it, which I now share with everyone.
    It is static, so it has permanent lights. Since the dmd display takes up space on the apron, the fulldmd image is (for now) also a static image. Enjoy!
     
    UPDATE: The table already works with flexdmd, so I made a new version for those who use it as well.

    B2s backglass for 1979 Atari table "Road Runner". The available backglasses are no match in terms of resolution and quality for the new table release by GaryInMotion over at VPF, so I cleaned the backglass graphics as good as I could and upscaled to a better resolution.
