X-Men (Stern 2012) - Kid Mode

New version 1.1 is pending approval. Current version causes some textures to display like black holes in some parts. Like in the screenshot.
Another SuperGibson Kid Mode mod. This time it's X-Men Stern 2012, based on Mason's Color Rush 1.5 version (on VPForums)

"Look Out X-Men!" - Charles Xavier.
This time I had to put the enable/disable on the Left Magnasave because this tables uses Right Magna for the LUT selector. Charles uses his psychic powers to create a force field between the flippers. One of 13 random audio clips play when enabling the force field. Can be toggled at any time to keep your junior x-men safe!

Made by special request for @cl4ve this is a simple little mod of the awesome table from @retro27 which was based on the version from @cyberpez.
Thanks to retro27 for the permission to mod.
I was asked if I could add a "Kid Mode" to this table. Some creative way to block the space between the flippers so that cl4ave's kid could play with him without getting frustrated by draining all the time.
Enabled/Disabled by pushing Right Magnasave, the added sewer cover between the flippers pops us to keep your little dudes or dudettes safe. Can be toggled at any time making it easy to play 2 players with your little ninja.
All the credits can be found on retro27's version.
There are more SuperGibson Kid Mode mods coming soon. Just waiting on approval for a few that are already done.

Surf Champ (Gottlieb 1976)

1976 EM table by Gottlieb "Surf Champ" was designed by Ed Krynski. The VPX table v1.0 was initially released in 2018 by Loserman76 with graphics by @GNance. The table also contains contributions from foxyt, @hauntfreaks, @BorgDog, @jpsalas, @pinuck, @arngrim and @teisen. Most regulars are aware that Loserman76 has passed, so he can't be contacted for approval. However, his releases contain the "permission to mod" toggle set to "yes", so I hope everyone who contributed is happy with my mod as well.
My version is based on
I've upscaled the playfield, plastics, spinner, drop targets, apron & backdrop and added a pup-pack toggle for usage with
or similar. The main contribution is the increased resolution that will be most noticeable for cabinet users.

The original members of the Sinister Six included Kraven the Hunter, Mysterio, Doctor Octopus, Vulture, Sandman, and Electro, but a revolving door of villains has come in and out of the ranks. Over the years, many a Spidey rogue has joined their ranks. However, certain linchpin members keep signing on over and over.

Fixed "Ambient Occlusion Scale" setting.

First off, there are 2 sound modes on this table.
Classic and New, which can be toggled with Buy-In key (2 key).
Or find option at the top of the script.
Selection is saved and loaded on next table run.
The Classic version has all of the same music and sound fx that are in my old sound mod, but with a few changes.
Classic version changes:
All new scripting.
Lowered volume on all music and sound fx.
Added script where voice effects are not cut off when hitting consecutive rollovers or kickers.
I ran the plastics through an AI tool and got rid of the blurryness.
You can compare with old plastics and see a huge difference!
JoePicasso added new apron art, and he totally remade the original apron, so no more blurred apron!
New Version:
JoePicasso added 15 villian models, and 2 Spiderman models!
(Spiderman models can be toggled with Left Magna-Save when not playing game.)
He made models of Carnage, Doctor Octopus, Electro, Green Goblin, Kingpin, Kraven, Lizardman, Mysterio, Rhino, Sandman, Scorpion, Shocker, Spiderman, Tombstone, Venom, and Vulture!
Inspired by his Model Mod, and wanting to upgrade my old Sound Mod, I began gathering voice effects for all of them!
I have added 733 new voice effects divided between all of the villians and Spiderman!
Spiderman has 127 voice fx alone! (Not counting Attract Mode.)
There are 4 villians that have less voice fx than the others.
Electro only has 3 voice effects that were part of the original sound mod.
It was hard to find his voice effects.
Same with Kingpin, Tombstone, and Kraven.
I think they only have 15 divided between the 3 of them.
Player Start has 109 voice effects!
Plunger Attract has 63 voice effects! (Start game and don't plunge ball to hear. Some are hilarious!)
Drain has 153 voice effects!
Upper 3 Kickers have 139 voice effects!
Rollovers have over 207 voice effects!
Carnage has 22 voice fx.
Doctor Octopus has 50 voice fx.
Electro has 3 voice fx.
Goblin has 38 voice fx.
Kingpin has 6 voice fx.
Kraven has 4 voice fx.
Lizardman has 41 voice fx.
Mysterio has 25 voice fx.
Rhino has 93 voice fx.
Sandman has 64 voice fx.
Scorpion has 55 voice fx.
Shocker has 57 voice fx.
Spiderman has 127 voice fx.
Tombstone has 5 voice fx.
Venom has 85 voice fx.
Vulture has 58 voice fx.
So you will rarely hear the same voice effect twice!
With each villian voice effect, the corresponding villian model lights up and blinks while they talk!
These new voice effects are clear and sound great!
I couldn't find any better in-game background music, so I just left the classic music in it.
New version plays a newer version of 60's cartoon theme song during Attract Mode.
I modified BorgDogs DT Backdrop pic, and added 7 Desktop Backdrop pics to the Image Manager, with a different villian on each one on the left side. (Find them at the top of image list. Click Backdrop tab on left side of editor, then on right side of editor you will see where to toggle pics.) I had to move a few textbox lights, and also made them transparent.
I also added a light on DT Backdrop left side, to light the villians up with the GI Lighting.
Added 10 Flashers. Red and Blue randomly chosen on Bumpers, Slings, and Drain.
Added Match script, so it plays 1 of 3 Spiderman voice fx when hitting Match, or High Score, or Free game during play.
Added Tilt script, so it plays 1 of 11 voice fx when Tilted.
Exported all pics out of Image Manager, converted to WebP format at highest quality setting, imported back into Image Manager, and saved over 50 MB's on file size!
Added cleaned up Playfield pic, (New Default Playfield pic), but left the worn Playfield pic in the Image Manager.
They are labeled "spidermanPFold", and "spidermanPFnew".
JoePicasso sent me the artwork for backglass, and I made all of the snippits for the lights.
I made a couple of wheels for those who use front ends.
Left Magna-Save toggles 2 apron Spiderman models, and toggles 3 different bumper pics.
So there are 6 choices altogether.
Right Magna-Save toggles LUT selection.
These choices are saved and loaded on next table run.
THESE OPTIONS CAN ONLY BE TOGGLED DURING GAME OVER. (To prevent accidental toggling.)

His Mod is based on a table from TastyWasps which is based on a table from JPSalas and Sliderpoint.
Brief history why I share this table. I love pinball and I love LED I have owned about 40 real pinball machines. For me, these have become part of the decor at home. I have always tried to match lamps with the color of the plastic and the surroundings or to put two different colors next to each other to create a combined color. When I discovered VPX I was instantly hooked! I was thinking of focusing on LED-converting finished tables. I have a couple of tables ready but waiting for approval to Mod. I know there are mixed opinions about LED...some like it, some don't I spend a couple of days on each table. Not only changes the color of current lights but goes through each light, adjusts, adds, removes. Also makes sure that things like objects, metal parts and the like match the surroundings. In some cases I may add sideblades and the like.
Didn't turn out to be a short story anyway

One of my favorite tables, I thought it should receive a graphics update, to stand up to other great tables that are being launched.

Demolition Man (Williams 1994) - Limited Cryo Edition - OttoPinball MOD

Hi, I'm pleased to present my first Mod table called Demolition Man "Limited Cryo Edition". I spent a lot of time modifying the original table while trying to keep the atmosphere of the basic table intact. It's up to you to tell me if I've succeeded in this attempt (if not, be nice, it's my first one lol). Many "fan service" details were added to the playfield. The lights were modified and a nudge configuration was added to the script. The pack contains the modified table, an Ini file (pov), 2 loading screens, 1 Wheel, a playfield video, 2 rom and 2 nvram ( 1 Vulgar speech version and one without. See doc "info" in the Rom/Nvram folder). Finally, I'm happy with the result and hope you'll agree...

Salut, je suis heureux de vous présenter mon premier Mod sur Demolition Man nommé "Limited Cryo Edition". J'ai passé beaucoup de temps à modifier la table originale tout en essayant de garder intacte l'ambiance dégagé par la table de base. A vous de me dire si j'ai réussi dans cette tentative (sinon soyez sympa c'est ma première lol). Beaucoup de détails "Fan service" on été ajouté sur le playfield.
