Ice Fever (Gottlieb 1985) VPW

My native country of Norway got a first time bronze medal in this years Ice Hockey World Championship. I still can´t believe this happened, and a rare event for sure. As a perfect aftermath, VPW has recreated this Gottlieb rarity,  Ice Fever. Hockey themed pinball games are as rare as this bronze,  and the recreation of Ice Fever utilizes VPX Lightmapper to the MAX. Damn this looks and plays great. A superfun and fast table that really gives the superb  feel of a hockey arena from the 80´s. Thank you so much for this @VPinWorkshop

Holy cow, what a surprise!

One of the very few hockey-themed pinball tables out there has finally received the facelift it deserved—and what an incredible makeover it got! I always had a guilty pleasure for the original version, but it was definitely showing its age. This new release is absolutely gorgeous and an instant must-have.

As a Canadian, I've always been surprised by the lack of hockey-themed pinball tables. There are only a handful that come to mind, including this one and Bobby Orr Power Play. In my opinion, this is easily the best hockey-themed table available, and the team absolutely knocked it out of the park.

I'll be spending a lot of time enjoying this one. Thank you to everyone who worked on this project—I truly appreciate the effort, passion, and craftsmanship that went into it.

VPW continues to set the gold standard in the virtual pinball community, and this table is a perfect example of why. This is a no-brainer addition to any collection.

Time to hit the ice! 🏒

Please correct me if I'm wrong but I think the terribly bad performance on this table it's because it uses VLM maps for every single light/insert.
