Eclipse (Gottlieb 1982)
By BorgDog
Eclipse is basically a single level version of Gottlieb's 1981 Black Hole. the targets that were on the lower level are moved up to the middle of the playfield, and the entrance to the hole is now a ball lock for multiball. to get to multiball you first need to clear the 4 stand-up targets on the right side, then it lights the lower left hole for lock. after you lock a ball you then need to clear the 4 stand-up targets to the right of the upper left flipper, which then lights the upper hole entrance through the spinner for lock. once a ball is locked there as soon as the next ball launch hits a playfield switch it releases the other 2 balls for 3 ball multi-ball. easy right.. not so much. before someone gets there and asks (like anybody reads this) if you drain after locking the first ball it will kick the locked ball out before giving you the next ball and you will need to re-lock it, however it will be lit to lock it, don't have to do everything over.
playfield and plastic images are from pinsider IamNaN without whom this would not have been made. playfield image cleaned up by my buddy hauntfreaks (this has been in works awhile)
included db2s made by hauntfreaks with some modifications by me, don't remember where the image came from
bord did the awesome lighting/shadows and plastics, made swapable rubber primitives (see option in script to change from black rails/rubber to stock), fixed my primitives, and made the flipper primitives and probably other stuff I'm forgetting. thanks man.

Card Whiz (Gottlieb 1976)
By BorgDog
re-upload of table on vpinball.com, no changes or testing has occurred.
Gottlieb's 1976 Card Whiz. This 2 player table was also made in a much more common 4 player version, Royal Flush. I'm partial to 2 player machines, so made Card Whiz, but it would be a fairly easy conversion to Royal Flush if there is enough demand for the 4 player as well (I don't have that many friends). As far as I can tell this truly em scripted version of royal Flush or Card Whiz has not been made in vp before, although there was a couple versions that used the 1983 Royal Flush Deluxe rom with this playfield (no I don't know the gameplay differences), and there is an FP version as well.
the playfield started with Popette's FP version, and has been much modified/upscaled/stretched etc to more accurately match images of stripped playfields I found as well as better match the playfield map from the Royal Flush manual which I found online (don't tell Steve @ PBR). Most if not all the insert images were replaced with better copies I found on line.
The image for the backglass came from a collection by Scott Amus on flickr.
Couple things I'm not sure on, the first is the ball return gate. The rollover on the right opens the gate so the ball can return to the plunger lane. I'm fairly certain that once it does the trigger in the plunger lane closes the gate and also fairly certain the kick hole on the right side of the playfield also closes it, just not sure if those are the only things?? The rollover in the plunger lane would also be triggered and close the ball return gate on the next plunge. The other thing that I'm not sure of is that post on the left side that deflects balls coming down from the upper left joker rollovers. In watching videos there seems to be some wide variety in how that deflects, and actually a lot of times it seems to not get hit at all which happens very rarely on my version. I'm pretty sure I have it in the right spot, but I think something above that may be causing the ball to miss it.. again not sure, having never actually played on in the wild that I can recall.
Directb2s included, hold down left flipper before starting a game to get some options.
As usual thanks to everyone for everything, blah blah blah..

Cactus Jacks (Gottlieb 1991)
By BorgDog
Welcome to Cactus Jacks, it's Party Time!
So first up the kudos:
@bodydump for the initial working version with his great redraws of the playfield and plastics
@dark for all the cactus models, including the animations of the big 3 back cacti
@bord for all the lighting and shadow stuff he does that he did for this
@rothbauerw for his physics tutorial and updates and play testing and tweaking
So, I think that's about it for now, hope you all enjoy it, I'm sure there are things not quite right and updates to be done still but it's time for me to throw it out there.

Buck Rogers (Gottlieb 1980)
By BorgDog
re-upload of old vpinball table. hope to update someday now that I own a real one.
This started out as an upgrade to Sindbad's vp9 table found over on VPF. Hauntfreaks did the inital layout and lighting etc in VPX last summer from a beta sindbad had put out during the vp10 beta phase and it's been mostly hanging out since then. I rebuilt all the code, keeping mainly the vari-target scripting form Sindbad's table, found some nicer plastic images courtesy of the interwebs and went to town this week.
New the top of the script is a line that currently reads "Const VT_Delay_Factor = .88". What this line does is controls how fast the vari-target slows down the captive ball that hit's it. The smaller the number the more it slows it down. I'm not sure exactly where this number should be, but I do know a couple things: 1. it is possible to set the vari-target to the very back in one shot, I've seen it done in videos, 2. .8 I think makes it too hard to every achieve the 1 shot reset of the vari-target, 3. .95 makes it too easy to make that shot. So somewhere in the middle is where we sit. I have not yet made it in one hit with the current settings, but I have come close, it takes a timing shot with momentum on the ball to make it happen. Feel free to play with this variable and report back what happens.

Star Trek (Gottlieb 1971)
By BorgDog
re-upload of vpinball table, no changes.
This is Gottlieb's 1971 Star Trek. This is the export (Italy) version of Astro. This is an add-a-ball game only. The replay version of this with different artwork is 4 square.
This update has new logic thanks to allknowing2012/Daryl who found some backglass images on ebay that showed why there is that crazy area in the upper left of the backglass. It is there for the 10 rollover values, 100,000 to 1,000,000. So I needed to modify the logic and the backglass due to the new info.
Hold down left flipper key before starting a game for a couple seconds to open the option menu (inspired by loserman76 and gnance) Many thanks to sliderpoint and StevOz for physics and bug testing! Thanks to Plumb on vpf for the Astro playfield scan that started this.
directb2s included DOF enabled FS settings in the table are for my cab which has the playfield in portrait mode, most of you will need to adjust the Backdrop settings.

Darling (Williams 1973)
By BorgDog
another vpinball.com re-upload, no changes made
original description and changelog
So I started on this table like 2 years ago, got sidetracked by other things and somewhere along the line lost everything I had done on it, including a playfield redraw I had started on. I found bits and pieces again, including a start on a db2s hauntfreaks had done touchup on the artwork for. So I finished up the db2s and put the table together. I always thought the 5 ball captive ball thing was pretty cool so was fun to get it going. Hauntfreaks came through again with a redraw of the playfield and fixing all my lighting for me and sliderpoint provided feedback as usual. Gameplay is pretty basic so scripting was fairly straight forward although I did try a few new things out that I ended up incorporated into my base template. I made some new primitives as well while slowly learning fusion 360.
Includes my version of the loserman and gnance option menu, hold down left flipper before starting a game for 3 or 5 ball, free play, and extra ball options.
Also includes the db2s and portrait and landscape POV files.
1.1.1 fix (hopefully) for occasional lost ball from captive balls.
1.1 Updates.
fancy new plastics thanks to Scotty VH!
changes to db2s suggested by Scottacus to make match more visible
fixed match in scripting so it all works.. I think also found by Scottacus, thanks!
note match does not show when playing in extra ball mode.

Hollywood Heat (Gottlieb 1986)
By BorgDog
another old re-upload from vpinball, no need to re-download if you already have, nothing has changed.
I initially chose this table as something that looked fun to re-theme for Hauntfreaks awesome Bubba the Redneck Werewolf table and also because it had not been built in VP for a long long time. I built the Bubba table based on the map in the manual. After getting that going I went in search of quality images to build the Hollywood Heat, and found some, sorta kinda OK playfield images. But alas get them forged into shape again with help from my buddy haunt. Found some pretty good plastic images on the internet for most of them, and rebuilt a few that weren't so good. Bord was nice enough to offer his services to build the ramp as he did for Bubba, and I think it turned out amazing, so another big thanks to bord. Thanks also to sliderpoint for all the play testing, advice, critiques, and helping out a lot.
I think that covers the bulk of it and I'm sure I missed others..but thanks for ball control script by rothbauerw, ball shadows by ninuzzu, fastflips by nfozzy, primitives by dark, slider, haunt and others I'm sure.
I'm sure there are things that will need to be fixed, that's the way of these things, so be sure to let me know about them and I hope you have as much fun playing it as I did building it.. back to em and system 1's for me.

Jungle Princess (Gottlieb 1977)
By BorgDog
re-upload of table from vpinball, no changes. This one is quite old and I have not tested it in newer vpx versions.
Gottlieb's 1977 Jungle Princess, the 2 player version of Jungle Queen (4 player).
Most of the graphics was given me by Starman from his vp9 Jungle Queen table. Much of the play logic comes from him as well.
thanks to hauntfreaks as usual for graphics, lighting, and primitive updates
thanks to sliderpoint for play testing and bug catching (mostly by letting me play on his vp cab where I could actually see things, gotta get my fullsize done soon)
like all my tables hold down left flipper before starting a game to bring up options menu. This is the first one I've done with a freeplay option as well.

CARtoons RC (Nailed Mod)
By Wylte
This is a modification of CARtoons RC (2017) v2.3, by HauntFreaks, BorgDog, and SliderPoint - with contributions from Dark, Randr, Toxie, and Fuzzel
>>>>>>ORIGINAL TABLE<<<<
Major changes in Nailed: RtxBS ON, Physics, Nails, Multiball, Outlane Save Roach, Shadows, Lights, Sounds, Breakable Elements
My goal was to give it a couple more features, while staying true to its 'aged' aesthetic. I'd like to think I pulled it off!
Hold left flipper before starting game for Operator's Menu, left flipper scrolls menu items > right flipper picks item
See script for more toggle-able options
**Arachnophobe Warning** turn off spider in script, I don't want to freak anyone out (too much)
Thank you to Toxie and Fuzzel for VPX in general, and for their excellent documentation and posts clarifying all of its features.
Special thanks to JPSalas for the physics, shadows, and sounds in his excellent Arcade Physics v3 2nd edition, and for advising me to lower the max velocity of the ball - which led to fine-tuning the physics of the whole table, then tweaking the flippers to be more worn out like the original.
"My boss found this old pinball machine in his barn and stuck it in our break room, bugs and all! I thought it was old and unfair, so I hammered some nails in...hopefully I didn't break anything...

Big Brave (Gottlieb 1974)
this is sentimental table for me, I had this machine in my bedroom when I was a kid and its what made me stumble into this silly hobby in the first place... Carlos past some photos on to Loserman and I which sparked some interest in building the table... so Loserman and I took on the task, I used Losermans gottlieb EM template to layout and build the visuals of the table, then past it back to Loserman for him to code the table.... Loserment is one top EM coders in the hobby also thanks to Carlos for the inspiration, and Borgdog for making a few primitive cutouts and testing
4kish...lol PF and plastics
full shadow treatment
detailed lighting
full set of primitive cutout

Harley Quinn (HauntFreaks 2017) in ultra-mega-real 4k
By hauntfreaks
(re-upload from 2017)
Harley Quinn (HauntFreaks 2017) supercalifragilisticexpialidocious real 4K
originally diamond lady by JPsalas
Graphics and Layout mod by HauntFreaks
RGB LED effects and F6 menu implementation by Ninuzzu
Drop Target lighting by BorgDog
I am NOT a fan at all of pins with photos, especially on the playfield…
BUT the table looked to me to have good bones, and since JP did the original I knew it was done right… also I’m not really a fan of Harley Quinn (suicide squad was terrible) BUT again she is the Queen of Diamonds and has an overabundance of artwork it was a no brainer to put two and two together… so after editing 50-80+ images for the PF, Plastics and BG… and also altering the tables layout my end of the project was good to go….
after that having Ninuzzu implement my vision of RBG LED inserts, he went above and beyond by adding f6 menu function and a bunch of other opinion goodies…
BorgDog as always bailed me out when i cant figure stuff out myself by adding droptarget lighting…
F6 menu options:
-RGB inserts off and on
-RGB GI off and on
-Ball standard, harley logo, and glow balls
-Flippers standard, and glow bats
>>>>>>B2S LINK<<<<<<
WARNING!!! Exclusive Fullscreen users!!
this table uses the f6 menu system, before setting the tables default settings turn off Exclusive Fullscreen set defaults then reactivate Exclusive Fullscreen…. if this is a problem , you shouldn’t be using Exclusive Fullscreen in the first place

Space Walk (Gottlieb 1979)
By BorgDog
Same as version that was on vpinball.com. no need to redownload if you have that one.
Here is an update to my recreation of Gottlieb's 1979 Space Walk. This was the last em made by Gottlieb, and also has an ss version Count-Down (which is frankly a better game as the drops reset during a ball, once you get all the drops down on this one not much to do). Added scanned images of the plastics off my Count-Down, changed quite a lot of the scripting to newer methods and playfield objects, high score sticky note with initials, added more to the on-screen menu (hold down left flipper after starting table before starting a game to get to options), and other stuff
Thanks to Drybonz for testing and feedback.

Asteroid Annie (Gottlieb 1980)
By BorgDog
Re-upload of vpinball.com table. No changes made.
This is a complete VPX rebuild of hauntfreaks vp9 Asteroid Annie, using mostly haunts resources that he gave me sometime last year. I found some better plastics images online, but I am currently in conversion with a guy on pinside that has 2 (yes 2! they only made like 200 of them) Annie's he is going to restore and he is willing to get me some better resources, mainly the playfield is a pieced together hack that is not likely very accurate as far as placement of everything goes, so hopefully in the not to distant future I will rebuild again! In the mean time, enjoy, it is a fun machine.

Neptune (Gottlieb 1978)
By BorgDog
This is the same table that was on vpinball.com, so if you have it no need to re-download. Note loserman76 has also done a version of Neptune, this is not it
Continuing with the grunge series of tables (I do live near Seattle) Hauntfreaks and I present to you our deluxe 1.5K edition of Gottlieb's 1978 Neptune. Haunt brought this project to me as a rebuild of vp9 version with someone's redraw which during my course of setting it up became apparent it was not sized right. Also while looking around I ran across a decent resolution full stripped playfield shot of Poseidon, the export version of this table, on IPDB that had a nice worn look to it, well OK it was/is pretty trashed, but at least it was complete and could be sized to the correct proportions and have everything in the right places. haunt did some magic and improved the main feature of the playfield graphics, but again we went with the worn and rusty look. We did do some partial restores with some new metal and plastic bits, but this is a well loved machine.

Double-Up (Bally 1970)
By BorgDog
This is a re-upload of my table from vpinball.com, if you have that version this is the same so no reason to re-download.
Bally's 1970 Double-Up, supposedly only 55 of these were produced. I got turned onto this table by a restoration going on at Pinside by Pecos (who also goes by Alan). I ended up deciding to take on my first playfield redraw in Illustrator with much help and advice from such characters as krugge99, hauntfreaks, bodydump, mfuegemann, and wrd1972 who was going through his first redraw as well and who's thread I hijacked Thanks All!
Pecos has been very helpful with additional photos, sound bites, and even a very nice written and video run through of the complete ruleset, I wish I had that much info for all my table builds. Be sure to check out his thread linked above (tells you how to play). He also provided some great feedback from a short gameplay video I provided him.
Hauntfreaks went above and beyond getting the backglass image from a low res dark image into something usable, getting the plastics cleaned up as well, and making me some nice primitives for these old school ball gate brackets. big thanks.
Enjoy, it's a fun but merciless table. Still things to tweak (always) and feedback is very welcome.
directb2s file is included hold down left flipper to access the options menu (thanks for the idea loserman76 and gnance)
FS settings in the table are for my cab which has the playfield in portrait mode, most of you will need to adjust the Backdrop settings.

Amazing Spider-Man (Gottlieb 1980)
By BorgDog
This is a re-upload of my table from vpinball.com. if you have that version no need to re-download as nothing has changed.
Because there were not enough versions already I went ahead and did a fairly quick build of Gottlieb's 1980 Amazing Spider-man. There were a couple things that prompted me to do so, firstly the others were all built as a standard width whereas Amazing Spider-man is a wide-body (and despite my rants to the contrary I used the dimensions in the so called dimensions manager instead of doing math, I am on vacation). Secondly the other versions were also made with 7 digit displays and use the 7-digit rom, Spider-man was origianlly a 6-digit display so I went back to the stock version. And I wanted to put the desktop score displays on the backdrop instead of having the dmd display.
Most of the image resources for this are from gtxjoe's version of the table, thanks for the blanket permission to mod.
The desktop score lights I originally borrowed from a 32assassin table and at some point re-drew all the lights so the individual leds better matched the Gottlieb displays, not sure which of my tables has the redrawn ones Nobs for sure and this one.
The included direcdtb2s is a quick mod of wildman's 7- digit version to 6 digit with color change.

Golden Arrow (Gottlieb 1977)
By BorgDog
This is a re-upload of my file that was hosted on vpinball.com. no changes have been made so if you have that version no need to re-download.
Golden Arrow was the first table I ever worked on in VP, updating vp9 versions (from dboyrecords, itchigo and pinball person), creating the vpx version while vpx was still in beta. This version has been almost totally overhauled from that one with a new playfield scanned from my recently acquired real machine, new plastics scans, and new backglass photo (my scanner did not like the backglass). Scoring and rules were redone to match my real table as well. Also added new features including a few animated rubbers, animated spinner rods and new options in the options menu (hold left flipper before starting a game). A couple options are:
3 ball with 5 ball rules - a common simple mod on real machines to make it a tougher game to score specials. normal 3 ball pairs some of the lights, 2-3, 5-9, 6-10 so clearing one clears the other, all 10 lights cleared lights special. 5 ball and this mode do not pair them
reset after special - I have not seen this done on a real one (haven't looked) but basically to add more scoring if you want. on the ball you first score a special you can keep scoring specials, but once that ball drains the lights reset and you have to clear them all again in my scenario.
db2s file included.
Thanks once more to hauntfreaks and sliderpoint for not only helping on the original build but for help and testing on this one as well. Special thanks to haunt for piecing together my playfield scans into one nice image.
