  4. VR Room Superman (Atari 1979)

    It's a bird! It's a plane! It's Superman!

    Great table made by Goldchicco.

I don't found an template for an Atari widebody pincab. So I have to make one for myself.

I converted Goldchicco's table version 1.1 with small changes:
I increased the force of the bumpers and slingshots.
So for me the playing looks more like the real pin, which I have seen in videos.
The pinball is faster, but very good playable.

I would like to thank the following people:
Goldchicco for the permission to put the table in a vr-room.
Sixtoe for his templates of vr-rooms and cabinets.
Rawd for the analog clock from his toyroom (this was originally taken from Rascal VP9 clock table).
    And everyone I have forgotten.

    Info
There are two rooms: the minimal room and a sphere.
You can easily switch rooms by pressing the magna save-buttons.

There are 16 LUT-files in the table. So you can change the lightning.
Hold the left magna save-button and click the right magna save-button to change the LUT-file.

  15. VR ROOM Roller Derby (Bally 1960)

Many thanks to HSM from VPforum for creating this table and permission to port to VR.

Apologies in advance for the poor graphics on the cabinet. I struggled to find any true images so what you see is not high resolution.

This is a bingo pinball. When you launch the table in VR, press the R key from your keyboard to see the rules and coin operation on your left hand side. Your flipper buttons and magnasave have other operations in this game so please review the instruction card once the game is loaded.

Once the ball is at the plunger, you can press the R key to zoom in on the ROLLER card for special features.

I am keen for feedback on how to make the table play more realistic. I would like the holes to be more realistic if anyone has any suggestions after playing.

  18. Space Station VR (Williams 1987)

    Update Version 1.1.0!

VR ROOM version of nFozzy's Space Station!  I had so much fun building this room around this incredible table.  I hope you all enjoy it!  Full credit goes to nFozzy for this really advanced and well made VPX table. It has always been one of my favourites and I have enjoyed playing it a lot.  I have not touched the physics, graphics, or gameplay.  nFozzy had already coded the segmented display, so it was fairly easy to move and get working in VPVR.  DMD capture software is NOT required for this table.  I was unable to get hold of nFozzy, and therefore I do not have his express permission to release this.  He has not been active in the forums for over a year.   I hope all is well with him, and when he gets back, he is able to enjoy this version of his table.  If for any reason he is unhappy with this release (mod of his table), I told him in a message sent, that I would respect his wishes and take the file down.

    VPX table: nFozzy
    Based on Hmueck's VP9 table
SFX by Knorr and Clark Kent
Thanks to 3rdAxis for the new metal and plastic for the ramps and wires.  3rdAxis also provided the cabinet components.
Thanks to Rascal for the Space Station topper model.
Thanks to Steely for the Skybox primitive.
Thanks to The Loafer for beta testing.
Thanks to Leojreimroc for the new backglass work in 1.1.0

  22. VR ROOM Zodiac (Williams 1971)

I would like to thank all in the VPX community for inspiring me to try to build a table from the ground up. This is not a port from an existing table in VPX to VPVR as I could not find any other creations of this table. However, it contains elements/components from many different tables.

leojreimroc in particular made some good suggestions on the backglass flashers that really make it look good. 🙂

This is a pinball I played a few times as a kid but it was (and still is) very hard to crack. Only around 700 or so made so not a huge production run. The game logic I used is just based on a couple of youtube clips and the Information card for the game. Thankfully one of the YouTube clips did a real deep dive on the logic which helped a ton.
It's a little slow paced by modern standards but has some good features and an attractive backglass.

Seeing the 1971 table/cabinet looks to be originally based on Winner, I have used that as the baseline (cabinet mainly) to add the Zodiac specific elements and coding.
    Things to note:

    - this is an initial release. I am working on the artwork for the playfield and plastics and when that is ready, I will update
    - The spinning disc uses some coding and logic from a couple of other tables so thanks to the original coders for that. I think they nailed the physics. The player can choose one or two posts on the disc in the script.
    - there are some game options you can alter in the code: eg 3/5 balls & replay scores etc
    - I am not sure if this was a first in 1971, but the table uses a magnetic hold to count down the bonus score.

Please let me know your thoughts or issues you may find with the table to help me learn and improve my VPVR development
    enjoy

  24. High Speed (Williams 1986) VR ROOM

Version 1.1.0 - Thanks to 32Assassin for this beautiful version of Williams High Speed.  There were a few modifications needed to make things look good in VR, but the physics and gameplay have not been touched from 32Assassins original version.  Thanks to Walter Whitmer for building all of the cabinet components from the ground up.  I think they look spectacular!

    Thanks goes to..

    VPX table: 32Assassin

All cabinet components and room mockup: Walter Whitmer

Thanks always to Randy Davis, The VP development team, and Caligula for bringing us VPVR.  Thanks also to DJRobX and Rawnei for their continued support.
This table plays very smooth on my system, and I'm hoping it does for others as well.  We have left the room toggle option non-existent in this table, because the traffic lights and police light are really part of the atmosphere.  We've also left the table glass off on this table, as it caused more problems than good.

    ENJOY!
