Due to system limitations searching with words of 3 or less characters will not return results. For instance; Doctor Who. This will not return results as the system is trying to search for both Doctor AND Who in which Who will not be found as it's a 3 character word. To find Doctor Who; you'd search for either Doctor or "Doctor Who".
Search Tips:
For specific searches; enclose your search with quotes. Example: "Doctor Who" or "Addams Family".

About 2 months ago, when I was suddenly faced with copious amount of free time I decided to dive into VPX table creation/modding and took at stab at using VLM/Blender to rejuvenate one of my favorites 80s table... Fathom. I hit so many walls and limitations of my knowledge that after 2 weeks I gave up and decided to tackle a simpler project (Stern's Cheetah). Having released that few weeks ago, I took what I learned during that process and what knowledge the fine VPW folks shared with me in meantime and felt more confident to revisit Fathom. The table has been cooking and been tested by the VPW Team for few weeks now and today, I'm finally ready to part with a version of it and share it with you guys. Hope you all enjoy it! p.s. (Frankly, I could easily spend another week or 2 to nitpick even more details and get the VR setup to integrate better with the baked lighting (and use a proper cabinet), hope there is plenty to enjoy in the table in its current shape.) # Version 3.0 by FrankEnstein based on Version 2.0 by UnclePaulie **v3.0 info:** This version is FrankEnstein's VLM/Blender makeover of UnclePaulies already excellent table from 2023 so it has all the goodies he and redbone put in, but jazzed up with raytraced renders and all the goodness Blender has to offer. Certain parts were replaced and remodeled for proper raytracing but the table still largely uses most of the assets from the previous version, therefore including the previous detailed credits below. Thanks to Apophis for his code updates, code cleanup, tying the room brightness controls to the VR setup, and immense knowledge of all things VPX and the willingness to share it. Thanks to all the folks on the VPW team that helped with testing and advice (Apophis, tomate, Passion4Pins, DGrimmReaper, Sturdlygoorite, Sixtoe, Darth Vito, redbone...) as well as all contributors to the VLM Kit parts library. Most of all thanks to Uncle Paulie and Redbone for their excellent v2.0 that I used as a starting point and used most of the assets from and his permission to mod his table. **v2.0 info/credits:** Table includes Hybrid VR/desktop/cabinet modes, new upscaled playfield by EBisLIT and Redbone, VPW physics, Fleep sounds, 3D inserts, new GI, sling corrections, targets, saucers, playfield mesh, etc. Updated playfield, plastics, targets, apron, flippers, and more. This version done with UnclePaulie's prior Bally tables as a baseline to start. Built everything ground up from there. Used a few prims and images from Goldchicco's prior table, as well as some logic. I used EBisLit's playfield as a baseline, and Redbone did lots graphics updates to that playfield, as well as the plastics, targets, apron, flippers, and others. The VPW team did lots of testing and recommended that I use Circus's VR room as an option, as it has you playing on the ocean floor with fish swimming around you, so his very cool environment is also included, and is the default environment for VR users. ___________________________________________________________ Required Software (64-bit versions): VPX 10.8.0 RC4 or later: https://github.com/vpinball/vpinball/releases/tag/v10.8.0-1975-051104c VPinMame 3.6.0-998 or later: https://github.com/vpinball/pinmame/releases/tag/v3.6.0-998-a77c2d2 B2S Server 2.1.2 or later (if B2S used): https://github.com/vpinball/b2s-backglass/releases/tag/v2.1.2 -

Thank you very much @jarr3, this would not be possible without your amazing b2s designer software. All credits goes to @hauntfreaks for his tremendous amount of work. Credits also goes to @Wildman, @ryguy417, @Walterwhite, @Rickochet, @chucky87, @Manbearpig, @iDigStuff, @PIPAllah Thank you all for allowing me to use your work. Extra thanks to @Herweh, @WaRcLaWz, @Blacksad, @RajoJoey All backglass remains exactly the same as the originals, I only modified the DMDs. The leds and illumination frames as well as the snippits has been scrupulously put back in the right place, after modifying the image in Photoshop. DMDs are 1480x320.- 14 comments

This table was modded after talking with Vogliadicane and Goldchicco. I settled on using Goldchicco's table because it was the most recent updated with some modern scripting features. I debated with myself quite a bit about even doing one because their 3 tables are really awesome. The LED and Antique MODS from Vogliadicane are undeniably unique and awesome. Goldchicco's table has the modern scripting and a bit of fixes. I knew there were some gains to be had on playfield quality and slight gains on plastics. I ended up recreating both by going back and pulling together some some online resources, ideas from Vogliadicane's plastics and even some of 32assassin's playfield. Beyond playfield and plastics, my focus was some accents on certain playfield elements using lights. I just really wanted to have some fun with this table. Some of you purists may not like it. You can turn these on/off in the script if you don't like them. Several lights and hues were tweaked to accent portions of the plastics as well. One of the last bigger things I did was create new bumper caps. I actually used a picture of an antique iridescent plate I found on ebay to create these. I thought it worked pretty nice. The inserts got worked a bit too and again.. colors added everywhere. I tried to make it new and interesting without overdoing it. Here are some more highlights - -rebuilt and upscaled playfield -extended some graphics on playfield -new iridescent bumper caps -new octopus and colors on bumper caps -rebuilt spinner -new ball images -playfield color corrections on upper left mermaid -rebuilt and upscaled plastics -drop target graphics rebuilt and realigned -triton graphic on left drop targets -lighting tweaks everywhere - COLORS -many inlays redone -lots of accent lighting added -bumpers to 11 (from 7) for more speed -flippers to 2000 (from 1800) for more speed -lots of new text for correct font -reworked other misc graphics -fixed a few lights not coming on -added a couple of easter eggs on the playfield Who can find them first? lol think... "I'm Old Gregg" ***EASTER EGGS - WHERE ARE THEY?*** Below are notes from Goldchicco's release: This is a complete rebuilt of 32assassin table ver 2.0 Big thank you to you to: Vogliadicane for the Plastics image/ agentEighty6 for adding the nFozzy flippers What's new: * New lights, new lighting * New table physics * Added nFozzy flippers (thanks @agentEighty6) * Reworked all the images, cleaned and upscaled * New Plastics image (thanks @Vogliadicane) * Added Flippers Shadows and Ball Shadows * Added light bulbs primitives for GI * Added missing mechanical sounds and replaced ball rolling sound * Tuned Slingshots and Bumpers force * Corrected Rubbers Hit Height * Added JP's LUT code * New instruction Cards in the apron * Repositioned Bumpers correctly * Changed Drop Targets height so they don't disappear when down To rotate and select between the nine LUT files press and Hold the Left Magnasave and rotate pressing the Right Magnasave. Bally's legendary 1981 release "Fathom" has always been one of my favourite machines. The art package is phenomenal, the gameplay straightforward but challenging and rewarding. Luckily we have a fantastic VPX version by 32assassin, Vogliodicane and Arconovum (FSS). Here's my take on a VR room for this stunning table. No killer mermaids around at the moment, but the signs of their handiwork are everywhere... A re-upload and update from VPinball.com - v1.1 has a fix for a crash when hitting the magnasave buttons. Thanks so much to the original authors 32assassin, Vogliodicane and Arconovum for their permission to modify their tables. Also many thanks to Rawd for his help with tweaks and fixes, Sixtoe for the minimal room assets, a great unnamed modeller for the cabinet, DJRobX and Rawnei for their continued improvements to VPVR, Caligula for starting it all off, Senseless and other VR room creators for encouragement, advice, and playtesting, and all table authors! Controls: - Left Magnasave: Toggle between the full room, the minimal room, and the void - S key - disable the environmental sound - F key - fast fish! -
untilHello pin fans, I'm starting a new series of event themed on 'Early SS' pins from 1979 to 1984, and I'm starting with Bally's 1981 title 'Fathom'. The tournament starts today, Saturday March 15 through to Thursday March 20 (5 days) via my own Discord called 'Max Velocity Gaming'. Interested and want to know more? Just let me know either on here or the VPUniverse Discord (or any of the other 'main' pinball ones) and I'll point you in the right direction! Feel free to join in the fun! Regards, Max Velocity

This is the CPR topper. Special thanks to pinsider mattmarr for photos. This topper works so well with the backglass art. Didn't see a need to animate. Three versions. Vintage, LED, and Normal colors so it looks right for the various versions of the game expecially Vogliadicane's vintage and LED mods. Files with VX822 have a 1920x822 ratio.
