  1. Piggy Bank Blitz

    Welcome to Piggy Bank Blitz! Use the flipper keys to move your piggy bank. Collect as much money as you can. Get the power-ups and avoid the debuffs. You have 3 minutes.

    The full rules, including every available power-up / debuff and what they do, are located in a PDF document inside the ZIP file.

    Piggy Bank Blitz is a fun / addictive arcade-style non-pinball game made in VPX. It was originally made by me in VP8 as a fun proof-of-concept that Visual Pinball can be used to make more than just pinball games. The first version was never publicly released. I decided to re-create it for VPX and publicly release it for everyone's enjoyment. Please consider leaving a constructive comment or review if you download and play it.

    Music - Jethro on the Run by Kevin MacLeod (licensed under Creative Commons 0 by freepd.com)
    Artwork - A combination of graphics by Arelyel, Artificial Intelligence (Stable Diffusion with the Anything 4.5 model), and emojis. Also, Movieg1 provided the underlay, backglass image, and Wheel.
    DirectB2S - iwantpinball.
    Sound effects - Various Creative Commons 0 no-attribution sounds from freesound.org (except for the coin dropping sounds; those were recorded by Arelyel)
    Beta testing - Studygoorite; Movieg1

    This game requires Visual Pinball X 10.8 or higher (any build should work) and flexDMD 1.9 or higher. The DMD folder is included in the ZIP file and should be placed in the same location as the table. Game must be frame-limited to 60 FPS (this is set in the table settings by default) both to prevent GPU overload and to ensure timer-based opacity adjustments on the flashers work correctly.

  2. Princess Bride - Table and Puppack

    Princess Bride -- My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die...

    This was a project I started several years ago when covid hit but l let go of and didn't really return to. It was based off the original orbital pin Clue table. I made a bunch of animated wheels but wanted to try making a table. I didn't want to simply do a reskin but found that I was (and still am) completely unqualified to make a table - both the art or the coding.  It is unfinished but with the pace vpins have been improving, I would never be able to produce anything close to the new quality tables that have been put out. So anyone out there, PLEASE feel free to take the table and make any improvements you would like. There are more problems than I can list. When I last saved the file we were on 7.01. Some of the images seem to have become pixelized once saving to .8. Thank  you to the original Clue table this is based on and Scotty Wic who's videos gave me inspiration. I'm sorry my coding and art skills let you down. -- Regardless, I still enjoy the table and love the movie. Thank you all. Please don't be to hard on this noob. At least my wheels were helpful to the community.

    Files included:
    Pup pack files all belong in the folder - Princess Bride
    Princess Bride Pup pack

    There is a text/doc file that includes the table rules though there may be some malfunctions.

  3. Embryon (Bally 1981) w VR Room

    Version 2.0 by UnclePaulie 2023

    This version done with UnclePaulie's Medusa as a baseline to start, since both were Bally 1981.  Built everything ground up from there.

    Included in this Version 2.0 is Hybrid VR/desktop/cabinet modes, enhanced playfield, VPW physics, flipper tricks, dynamic shadows, Fleep sounds, Lampz, 3D inserts, new baked general illumination lighting and AO shadows, sling corrections, drop and stand-up targets, saucer, playfield meshes, various primitives, etc.  Significant time was spent on researching online videos, to ensure accuracy of shots, ball drops, kickouts, and overall playability.  I also created a desktop backglass with a cool lighting effect, as well as the VR backglass and other VR options. There are also some performance improvements, and I added a playfield mesh for the playfield, so there's a realistic bevel in the saucer.

    Thank you to Redbone, Movieguru, and Hauntfreaks for the updated graphics. The playfield used was upscaled by Movieguru, and then later enhanced by Redbone.  Redbone also enhanced several other graphics as well.  The VR Backglass was originally by Wildman, and Hauntfreaks enhanced it. And thank you to the VPW team for testing, especially PinstratsDan, Apophis, Tastywasps, Hauntfreaks, Wylte, jsm174, somatik, and bietekwiet!

    NOTE:  This table is a widebody.  It doesn't fit in a pincab like other standard width tables.  I have a 1:1 ratio'ed pov in the vpx file, however I've included another pov if you'd like it stretched to fit the whole cab (this will distort/stretch all images, however).

    Also NOTE:  There are a few ROMs available.  This orginal table used a 6 digit LED for player scores.  Later there was a ROM that updated to a 7 digit.  I have decided to implement ONLY the 7 digit ROM, embryond.zip.  (this way when you score a lot, you can see the full score...).  This is important to get the B2S that supports the 7 digit ROM.  Wildman's and Hauntfreaks both support it, they are on VPU.

    There are several options in the script.  Including VR, ball brightness, and LUT lighting options.  The LUT changes are done by holding cntl (or left mangasave) and then while holding, scroll through the options with the right magnasave.  The Dip Switch settings are done in the script and are hardcoded.  IF... you want to change them, there's a setting in the script to manually override that, and then use F6 during gameplay to bring up the Dip Switch setting.

    This is a hybrid table done in VPX 10.74, and I have code in here to automatically choose between VR, desktop, and cabinet.   Additional VR options in the script include two VR environments, a VR clock, a topper, posters, and settings for dynamic shadows if you experience a performance hit.

    Thanks again to Redbone, PinstratsDan, Apophis, Tastywasps, Movieguru, Hauntfreaks, Wylte, jsm174, somatik, bietekwiet, and the VPW team!

    small changes were made only aesthetically

    small improvements in the playfield, plastics, lighting,flippers position...  I want to make it clear that the descriptions for the tables I'm sharing are "standard" for all, changes are made when there is a need for some adjustment.

    version used, follow the link to the original table

    Adjustments made:
    - lighting and playfield lights
    - adjust targets
    - new POV
    - new metals
    - screw adjustment

    Unfortunately, I don't have a description of Loserman for this table and therefore I don't know the collaborators who helped him carry out this work... So, if you participated in this, I would like to thank you and I hope you feel honored!

    Do you still remember: Ducktales "the quest for gold" from 1990 and DOS?
    https://retrofreakre...les-dos-review/

    I used graphics in the DMD from the DOS area! And made a pin named "Quest for money"

    Go on a adventure to the Amazon,Egypt,Africa and the Himalayas with all there own 8bit music.

    You will be send of by Launchpad McQuack but it can be in 4 directions to start the adventure.

    Aim on the piggy bank to get money and after 5 times scrooge golden money bin will appear for extra points.

    Knock the doors 2 times to get the "monsters" out and hit the "monsters" 3 times to have a change to get the treasure!

    Launchpad McQuack will fly you in the dmd to the nearest airport where a multiball bonus is waiting for you.
    Do you have them al and win the jackpot?
    Don't forget the beagle boys and magica! on 1,3 and 5 million you will get an extra ball to play more!

    This pin cost me 3 weeks to make it, so please leave a reply and rate it!(very much appreciated, I like to read them a lot!)

    Thanks to ivantba for giving me other lights and ofcource to jpsalas for helping troubleshooting, his code we can use and for the lights that he gave.

    I hope you like it and duck on!

    ========
    Original build 8/7/2018 v1.0
    Last update to original physics etc. 10/3/2020 v1.22

    Notes from when it was released on Monster Bash Pincab. Hopefully it acknowledges everyone involved.

    //IMPORTANT NOTE////////////////////////////////////////////

    NOTE: Please update VPINMAME.DLL for WPC-95 Fast Flips
    Latest version at time of release SAMBuild R4550 (contains the DLL needed):
    http://vpuniverse.com/forums/topic/3461-sambuild31-beta-thread/

    //FEATURES/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

    Surround Sound Feedback (SSF by DJRobX)
    Fast Flips (WPC-95 FF developed as part of this production by DJRobX)
    Optimised for Cab POV does include Desktop mode setup (some of the poor mans SSR might be off from that angle)
    For 4k users I recommend using Post Processed Anti Aliasing - Set to QUALITY SMAA

    //THANKS/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

    Thank you to the previous AFM authors for their work that gave me the building blocks for this build. Thank you to all those who contributed resources early in the process, took photos and sent me things that helped with the project. For all the kind words and the hype that has built over this release on both MB and VP Junkies. Special shouts to JimmyFingers for passing on his knowledge on GI. To Arrie for photos he took to help with the apron, to virriguy, CK and Peter Docter who supplied a heap of images that also helped. I’ve probably forgotten some people because as Lars has regularly noted this has taken a while. Thanks to flupper for insight on some of the techniques he used on White Water.

    Finally the biggest thanks to my collaborators; Tom Tower for his models of the aliens, main saucer and clear ramps and to DJRobX for his development support in the background throughout, implementation of Surround Sound Feedback (SSF) and solving the FastFlips puzzle for yet another machine. Fast Flips doesn’t just happen with a few lines of code, each generation of machine requires a different solution that DJRobX solved for this release and we now have it for all WPC-95 roms.

    This has been a labour of love, production started exactly 3 months ago and I've average between 15-20 hours a week on it since then. Then add Tom's and Robs time too.

    Enjoy!

    //FINAL NOTE//////////////////////////////////////////////////////
    I don’t think there is anything that will cause compatibility issues but this was developed using a 10.5 beta so if you have problems you may need to update. I’ve used all 11 layers so not sure if that causes issues for older installs with 8 layers. I also expect people with lesser machines could be borderline performance wise. This is a very heavy build as you can see by the download size. It performs very well on a baseline machine in 4k (trust me it's nothing special) so I hope it behaves.

    I hope that people will be able to finish it because I no longer have time to finish it and also a lack of knowledge in vpx.

  11. Fathom (Bally 1981) w VR Room

    Version 2.0 by UnclePaulie 2023

    This version was done with my Medusa table and other recent Bally tables as a baseline to start, since they were Bally 1981.  Built everything ground up from there.  Used a few prims and images from Goldchicco's prior table, as well as some logic.  I used EBisLit's playfield as a baseline, and Redbone did lots graphics updates to that playfield, as well as the plastics, targets, apron, flippers, and many others.  The VPW team did lots of testing and recommended that I use Circus's VR room as an option, as it has you playing on the ocean floor with fish swimming around you, so his very cool environment is also included, and is the default environment for VR users.  Thanks to Circus for permission!

    Included in this Version 2.0 is Hybrid VR/desktop/cabinet modes, new playfield, VPW physics, flipper tricks, dynamic shadows, Fleep sounds, Lampz, 3D inserts, new baked general illumination lighting and AO shadows, sling corrections, drop and stand-up targets, saucer, playfield meshes, various primitives, etc.  Significant time was spent on researching online videos, to ensure accuracy of shots, ball drops, kickouts, and overall playability.  I also created a desktop backglass with a lighting effect, as well as the VR backglass (image from Hauntfreaks) and other VR options. There are also some performance improvements and I added a playfield mesh for the playfield, so there's a realistic bevel in the saucer.

    Thank you to EBisLit for the playfield image, and Redbone for upscaling and cleaning up the all the images.  Thank you to Circus for the ocean VR environment.  And thank you to the VPW team for testing, especially redbone, apophis, bountybob, dgrimmreaper, studlygoorite, pinstratsdan, wylte, trytotilt, bietekwiet, astronasty, and hauntfreaks.

    There are several options in the script.  Including VR rooms and environments, ball brightness, ocean environment sounds, and LUT lighting options.

    This is a hybrid table done in VPX 10.74 (but will run fine in 10.8), and I have code in here to automatically choose between VR, desktop, and cabinet.   Additional VR options in the script include three VR environments, a VR clock, a topper, posters, and settings for dynamic shadows if you experience a performance hit.

    Thanks again to the VPW team for all the testing, Circus for the Ocean VR environment, and Redbone for all the graphics enhancements!

  18. Crescendo (Gottlieb 1970)_Teisen_MOD

    First I would like to thank Loserman76 for the beautiful work... wherever he is playing pinball!

    small changes were made only aesthetically

    small improvements in the playfield, plastics, lighting,flippers position...  I want to make it clear that the descriptions for the tables I'm sharing are "standard" for all, changes are made when there is a need for some adjustment.

    version used, follow the link to the original table

    Link to Wildman's new B2S

    Adjustments made:
    - lighting and playfield lights
    - new cap bumpers
    - metal side guides
    - adjust targets
    - adjust screws
    - new POV
    - plastic transparency adjustment
    - adjust playfield color

    VPX conversion
    Artwork done by GNance
    Source images from Noah Fentz
    others to thank: JPSalas, Pinuck, hauntfreaks, Borgdog, Arngrim
    in addition to the "standard" keys (typically "1" to start game and "5" for coin), I've added "3" as another coin input and "4" for coin and auto-start game (like I recall the dime slots generally were) to simulate 3 coin slots
    when game is not in progress, holding down left flipper for about 3-5 seconds will bring up the options menu. left flipper selects item, right flipper changes option.
    I've also included shadows for the ball and flippers. If you want to turn them off look for these lines at the beginning of the script:
    Const ShadowFlippersOn = true
    Const ShadowBallOn = true
    change to false if you want either of the shadows not showing on your tables

  19. Big Game (Rock-ola 1935)

    Some history of the table: Released in July 1935 by Rock-Ola. It’s claimed in “Encyclopedia of Pinball Vol. 2” that this is the first pinball table with synthesized sounds. In this table, hitting the skill shot (AKA the trigger hole) activates a gunshot sound. (I pulled the actual audio of a table from a YouTube video, so you’ll hear approximately what people experiencing the first pinball sounds heard over 80 years ago).

    Some background on the project: I’ve worked on this table on and off (mostly off) for ~2 years. Like basically all of my tables, I saw a video of one on YouTube and I decided to take a crack at recreating it. The real thing is pretty basic by modern standards, and that’s also heightened by my very rudimentary VP skills. Sure, I wish the table lighting was better and I wish the backglass was more realistic looking (or at least also had better lighting) and the gates above the cannon have a very basic animation that would be improved and on and on. But the game should function more or less as intended and it’s better than having no table at all, so I think it’s time to just go ahead and share it.

    If you notice any unreported issues, go ahead and mention them in the support thread. If you have any potential improvements you’re ready to offer or solutions to issues that pop up in the thread, please get in touch. Otherwise, I hope you all enjoy the table!

    ~~~
    Some notes about controls and such:
    1 – Start Game
    Right Flipper or Right Magna Save – Lift a ball into the shooter lane
    Plunger – Shoot the ball
    The game was mostly built in VPX 10.6, but when I tested it on a cabinet I made a couple of final tweaks in 10.7, so that’s what I’d recommend using.
    Included in the download:
    -        The table
    -        Backglass [NOTE: There is an intentional black space above the image. The backglass might appear to not fill up your screen, but that is intentional. This was my way of preventing the backglass from being stretched out of its original proportions.]
    -        A Tarcisio style wheel
    -        A Non-Tarcisio style wheel
  20. WWE Wrestlemania LE (Legends of Wrestlemania) (RyGuy417 2023)
    This is a mod of a much better table, Gottlieb's Tag Team by @roccodimarco (thank you for the permission to release), but updated with the artwork and other visuals from Stern's far inferior WWE Wrestlemania LE table (don't believe me? Find a table nearby and give it a go--it's by far one of their worse tables).
    Resources are surprising light, but cobbled together what I could. I would eventually like to update the audio in the table to add some classic WWE/WWF callouts, music, etc. Hoping someone else on here has the energy and skill to get that done.
    Note: V1.1 includes a basic pup pack to play music. Use magna to change tracks.
    Plastics culled from images on the internet
    Uses Bord's new primitive flippers - these look so nice.
    ZIP includes B2S and wheel
    not sure who did the wheel as I've had it sitting on my hard drive for a while.
    Setup is like all of my tables - 3 & 5 insert coins. 4 is coin and auto-starts the game.
    Since this one is a center shooter type table, the right flipper is used to launch the ball.
    Uses VPX 10.5 - I'm not a fan of using betas for table releases
  24. Warriors The (1979) Edition 2023 Reskin (Iceman 2023)
    New York City, late 1970s
    The city is populated by hundreds of gangs, all of which observe a truce to prevent turf wars.
    The leader of the Gramercy Riffs, gangster boss Cyrus, plans to unite all the gangs into a huge "Army of the Night", which would have about 80,000 members.
    This "army" would outnumber the police 4:1
    inclusion of transparent upper left plastic with support pin
    new backdrop with image of Wildman's new B2S
    I want to say a big thank you to Wildman for allowing his new B2S to be used for this table! follow link of your new work
    Description of Loserman76:
    Gottlieb's Flip A Card (1970)
    Table primary build/scripted by Loserman!
    Thanks to the following for their contributions (whether they know it or not!)
    If I have missed anyone, let me know as this table would not exist without the
    folks in the community.
    Hauntfreaks - new images for table and plastics
    Grizz - image cuts/pastes from some of his images used on my redraw
    JPSalas - gameroom backdrop and methods gleaned from his fantastic tables
    EalaDubhSidhe - table object templates
    Black - HS save/load routines
    Itchigo - table templates which gave me ideas on how to accomplish what I wanted in this table
    CONRAM - various code ideas learned by tracing through code on his tables
    akiles50000 - for that totally awesome tutorial on table building. So much stuff I now understand because of the work put into this tutorial
    Inkochnito - scorecards/instruction cards
    Pinuck - Gottlieb chimes and score motor routines
    Herweh - directB2S designer and tools
    JimmyFingers - rolling ball and other objects' sound routines
    GNance - update to spinner code to replicate slowing down
    The options menu is now available by holding down the left flipper key for about 2 seconds when a game is not in progress. Once opened, left flipper moves between the different menu items and the right flipper goes through that item's available choices.
    For this table, I am using my new method for enabling/disabling the dB2S backglass. By default the backglass is disabled. The easy way to enable it is this method:
    1.Launch table and then exit. It will auto-create a file in the USER folder of VPinball named "LMEMTables.txt"
    2.Open this file in notepad and change the "0" to a "1" and save.
    3.Next time you launch, the backglass will launch.
    Or for the die hards out there, create a text file in the USER folder named LMEMTables.txt and put a "1" (no quotes) on the first line and save it.
