Banzai Run (Williams 1988) Animated B2S with full DMD

This is a bit of a WIP, but certainly useable as is. The backglass is fully animated with all the same lamps that are on the real table, as well as working flippers. Just missing the ball part of pinball.

This is a b2s with a full DMD that can be set to your full DMD or (as shown in the image) as your topper. I'm including a custom .res file that is very specific to my setup, but it'll show you how you can manipulate b2s settings for only this table.

The topper graphic comes from a backglass @Pookamoondo created in 2019. The playfield images are from JP's awesome new release, with additional elements from @Manbearpig.

I'm also attaching a video so you can see how it all works when done correctly.

Beat The Clock (Bally 1985) backglass

There are two tables that are called "Beat The Clock": one from 1963 and one from 1985. The 1985 Bally table was released as work in progress by goldchicco two years ago. I find the concept of the game interessting, so I created a backglass for it based on the images taken from ipdb.org.

Banzai Run (Williams 1988) Marquee Backglass

Technically, Banzai Run did not have a backglass because the backglass area of this pin utilized a second playfield, so this is the marque re-sized to 16x9 and adjusted to server as a marquee / backglass.

Lower grill area was added to keep the image 16x9 without distortion. Original marquee was lit with a single fluorescent light.

Very clean 2k image scanned from the original marquee from the table.

Also included an "ABC Sports" sounding .mp3 music track to use in your front end.

Banzai Run 2 screen setup

Inspired by Ryguy417's backglass, I wanted to have the same experience on my two screen setup. After much tinkering, I was finally able to put it all together! All lights are mapped as well as Pookamoondo marquee lights. Users will notice that when they flip the right flipper, the backglass will shift ever so slightly, and this is because no matter how much I tried, I was unable to get the snippet to match with the other snippets. I did try to modify it today at work, but wasn't able to see if it's as bad as it was this morning. If someone can help fix that problem that would be awesome. Regardless, this is as good as I can make it! Feel free to make it better. Enjoy!

So I originally was just going to make this for myself, but then I couldn't stop adding to it.

I wanted to have the upper PF as the BG even though it doesn't really fit on a wide screen monitor. I didn't wat to over stretch it, so jazzed up the side with the flashers.
Tried to get a lot of the visual bumpers and targets added so it looked complete. Used JPSalas art (cleaned up some spots) and some found art.

Hope you enjoy it!

And as always, thanks to JP for making this VPX version happen!

ATTENTION: AndyMcDandy has found if your using PinballX, you must say "NO" to the setting under "Display Settings" to auto position the B2S.... again set to NO....
