    An early Christmas present for VPU members.
     
    Today I am starting upload to VPU of my complete Rickochet theme for Popper. This theme is a real labour of love for me and months of work has gone into both creating and sourcing the media for this system theme. 
     
    Check out the other downloads for the other playlist themes which form part of this set.
     
    This theme is designed primarily for 3 screen setups though will work for 2 screen setups though in some cases you will lose a screen in some cases and so for 2 screen setups where a BG file is provided it is recommended that you use this as your 2nd screen and lose the DMD screen.
     
    The theme system has been designed so that for 3 screen setups a standard attract mode cabinet video can run on the backglass whilst the playfield and DMD screen change whilst browsing the main wheel. Once in theme areas/decades etc. then the attract mode video for your cabinet will be replaced by the theme specific BG video.
     
    This download is for the Creator (sub level) wheel. There is a Wheel, Playfield and FullDMD file for each. The Backglass screen is intended to run from the Default/Home Theme (check my other downloads for this and further instructions)
     
    No music or sound is included in these files so that you can include your own music tastes/preferences and are in 1080p format to reduce performance overhead on VLC and file size. The intended design is to apply no music/sound to the main menu playlists themselves and add a single music file to the Default/Home theme and have this play continuously whilst browsing main menu. Once in sub menus then other music is suggested for certain themes and where these are advised or recommended music to accompany the theme this will be listed on the download page of the instructions.

    Pup Pack rated R for violence & profanity.  This is not for the babies.
     
    "They'll fix you, they fix everything."
     
    Unzip and place the robo_a34 folder in your pup folder and take the B2s out of the robo_a34 folder and put it in your table folder. 
     
    This Pup works off the robo_a34 rom.  Any table using this rom should work.  I used the drakkon and Bigus1 tables.  If using the Bigus1 3.0 table, disable the flexDMD in the table script.
     
    This pup is setup for 1, 2, and 3 screens.  Bat files have been added so just pick the bat that fits your system.  This pup works with Flex-DMD, so you'll need it to move the score around.  My own custom DMD video and 16x9 B2s are included.  Three screen cabs can go with the DMD or a B2s and the FullDMD.
     
    There is already a Robocop pup pack available.  This one is for people who want the uncensored DC (Director's Cut) of the movie.  This preserves all the over-the-top violence and profanity.  I do not recommend this for pinballers under 18.  My vision for this pup pack was to make sure the gore, violence, and profanity is intact, along with all the callouts.  I like this table and wanted to add my stink to it's accessories.  I didn't play it in college because they didn't have one on my campus.  Otherwise this pup pack would be a part of my college series.  As with several of my other pup packs, my scores got better after playing with the pup pack installed.  I love it and I hope you like it also.
     
    I will make upgrades to all my Pup Packs when necessary and as my understanding of this craft increases.  Otherwise....... Enjoy!

    Planet Coaster 2 comes out November 6th, 2024 for PC and consoles.

    1.  Remove any Rollercoaster clips you do not want to use by deleting them from the "Rollercoaster" folder to save drive space if that is a concern for you.  This pup was originally 10 GB before final cuts.
     
    2.  Mini-Pup is powered by pupevent which means use VPX Remix system for the .dif conversion, no changes other than adding pupevent.  Did heavy testing for pupcapture functionality for this table, its still not working so no meaningful triggers.  It's eyecandy only , which I am ok with.  I tried.
     
    3.  Add any attract you want to the "Attract Randomizer" folder, it will select randomly.
     
    4.  Music Folder can be expanded upon or edited.  Selects randomly.  Make sure to click  the "normalize audio.bat" file to get any music you add in sync with the other media volume levels.  (same with adding new clips, convert to 1080p then normalize audio).... leaving those tools in their proper locations for this pup since its highly customizable. These are the only music tracks i enjoyed from the actual video game.
     
    5.  If you use altsound or ROM sound and do not want the pup controlled music, just select a pupoption labeled with "music OFF"

    Let me start out by saying I supremely love this amazing table.  From day 1 this table released I have never used the ROM music, (never even had the desire to turn on and test the ROM music, altmusic or sound)  ... i absolutely love the mechanical sounds,  flawless physics,  realism, flow and fun of this table in its rawest form.  The 1st minute I played it I knew I would have to eventually do a pup for it, it is a great theme and I wanted to make a pup with a lot of eyecandy to make it just awesome to look at and play. I play a lot of video games from this genre.   After spending hours collecting the music, right media for callouts and making text callouts, I tested the pupcapture for the 1st time  and realized the pupcapture doesn't work AT ALL for this table for some unknown reason..... bummed me out because all the time I spent finding callouts and making texts was wasted.  
     
    For this reason I can't really call this a true pup pack, its a completely downsizeable and customizable MINI pup for the table now. Bummed me out a lot when I found out pupcapture doesn't work, I almost didn't bother releasing it at all for this reason but I think someone will enjoy my vision for it.  Thanks to @PIPAllah for looking for a reason why the pupcapture wont work, thank you for the effort bro.
    If i can find any pupevent coding spots for any of those callouts in the Topper Callouts folder,  they can be added be added through pupevent only if I can get someone to help me find spots for them.  it is quite the chore..... pupevent will be the ONLY option for updates on this mini-pup.

I just hope one day can figure out why pupcapture wont work on it, could finish pup if its figured out.

    An early Christmas present for VPU members.
     
    Today I am starting upload to VPU of my complete Rickochet theme for Popper. This theme is a real labour of love for me and months of work has gone into both creating and sourcing the media for this system theme. 
     
    Check out the other downloads for the other playlist themes which form part of this set.
     
    This theme is designed primarily for 3 screen setups though will work for 2 screen setups though in some cases you will lose a screen in some cases and so for 2 screen setups where a BG file is provided it is recommended that you use this as your 2nd screen and lose the DMD screen.
     
    The theme system has been designed so that for 3 screen setups a standard attract mode cabinet video can run on the backglass whilst the playfield and DMD screen change whilst browsing the main wheel. Once in theme areas/decades etc. then the attract mode video for your cabinet will be replaced by the theme specific BG video.
     
    This download is for the Letters A-Z (sub level) wheel. There is a Wheel, Playfield and FullDMD file for each. The Backglass screen is intended to run from the Default/Home Theme (check my other downloads for this and further instructions)
     
    No music or sound is included in these files so that you can include your own music tastes/preferences and are in 1080p format to reduce performance overhead on VLC and file size. The intended design is to apply no music/sound to the main menu playlists themselves and add a single music file to the Default/Home theme and have this play continuously whilst browsing main menu. Once in theme areas/decades etc. then the attract mode video for your cabinet will be replaced by the theme specific BG video.
     
    This download is for the Decades (sub level) wheel. There is a Wheel, Backglass, Playfield and FullDMD file for each. The Backglass in this submenu is montages of pop culture from the era.
     
    No music or sound is included in these files so that you can include your own music tastes/preferences and are in 1080p format to reduce performance overhead on VLC and file size. The intended design is to apply no music/sound to the main menu playlists themselves and add a single music file to the Default/Home theme and have this play continuously whilst browsing main menu. Once in sub menus then other music is suggested for certain themes and where these are advised or recommended music to accompany the theme this will be listed on the download page of the instructions.

    This download is for the Programs (sub level) wheel. There is a Wheel, Backglass, Playfield, FullDMD and Logo file for each. I could not find logos for VPX and FP that I liked and in high enough resolution that would work with the theme so created my own and I have included the logos here should you wish to use them in your own projects. The Backglass screen is intended to run from the Default/Home Theme (check my other downloads for this and further instructions)

    I recommend that you download your favourite music track or something suitable for this Default/Home theme that will play across your cabinet when you are navigating the menus and where the menu option does not have a song itself. I personally use The Who - Pinball Wizard but know this may not be to everyones tastes and a little cliche.
     
    I also recommend that you use this Default/Home theme when you download it purely as a reference and create your own. This allows you to have your own unique style on your cabinet with minimal modification required for any of the other areas. If anyone would like assistance with this please feel free to drop me a message or put a note in the comments.

    An early Christmas present for VPU members.
     
    Today I am starting upload to VPU of my complete Rickochet theme for Popper. This theme is a real labour of love for me and months of work has gone into both creating and sourcing the media for this system theme. 
     
    Check out the other downloads for the other playlist themes which form part of this set.
     
    This theme is designed primarily for 3 screen setups though will work for 2 screen setups though in some cases you will lose a screen in some cases and so for 2 screen setups where a BG file is provided it is recommended that you use this as your 2nd screen and lose the DMD screen.
     
    The theme system has been designed so that for 3 screen setups a standard attract mode cabinet video can run on the backglass whilst the playfield and DMD screen change whilst browsing the main wheel. Once in theme areas/decades etc. then the attract mode video for your cabinet will be replaced by the theme specific BG video.
     
    This download is for the Types (sub level) wheel. There is a Wheel, Playfield and FullDMD file for each. The Backglass screen is intended to run from the Default/Home Theme (check my other downloads for this and further instructions)
     
    No music or sound is included in these files so that you can include your own music tastes/preferences and are in 1080p format to reduce performance overhead on VLC and file size. The intended design is to apply no music/sound to the main menu playlists themselves and add a single music file to the Default/Home theme and have this play continuously whilst browsing main menu. Once in sub menus then other music is suggested for certain themes and where these are advised or recommended music to accompany the theme this will be listed on the download page of the instructions.
     
    The playlist/theme map and themes available for this system are outlined below. Should there be any that you think should be included please drop me a message and I will consider them for future inclusion

I could not find logos for VPX and FP that I liked and in high enough resolution that would work with the theme so created my own and I have included the logos here should you wish to use them in your own projects.
