Hello everone,
While it is great in cabinet mode, in VR it lacks quite a bit. I decided that I wanted at least to see a cabinet and after googling a bit, I decided I may be able venture into VPX for the first time.
This is the result after a few hours learning and editing the image template for the cabinet and figuring out how VPX works and also how to disable/enable objects depending on the view.
Unfortunately as you guys can see, it is not perfect; the backbox has no art around the DMD and speakers, and below the backglass there's a purple piece I could not remove
It still beats a playfield and backglass in the air so I decided to share it like this because I hope someone can pick this up and improve it.
As a bonus, I've added a way enable / disable the logo on the right of the table. Search for "Logo" at the top of the script.
I have not tested desktop mode but cabinet and VR should work. I don't have a .ini since the table just looks fine here (Screen Size Calibration.vpx FTW )
Gr33tz go to:
- Kiwi for the original table
- VPW for the example table
- Dardog81 for the VR PinCab & Minimal Room Template Toolkit v2.2
- Everyone that created tutorials on YT
- VPX devs
