  1. More information about "Robo-War (Gottlieb 1988)"

    Robo-War (Gottlieb 1988)

    By Rivermatty

Gottlieb made a number of Pinball Tables with the Grills above the Backglass, Excalibur was one, TX-Sector was another, and Robo-War shown here. None of them look right on a 2 screen cab in my opinion as they all had a 3 dimensional back box so I've tried to give them more of that 3d look.

This is Robo-War, I found a decent image of the whole Back Box, Cleaned up the Picture and Grill separately using Chat GPT and then cobbled the whole thing together to create a sort of 3d looking 2 screen Backglass.

Thanks to other creators for the Rom id numbers for flashing lights.

I'm calling this an Alternate Backglass because there are others available which you may like more, but on my Cab this looks good to me at least.

Rocky Legends (Original 2026) Backglass and Full DMD

    By Autobott

I take no credit for this, I simply combined JoeD's Art provided with Rocky Legends into a B2S and added a little lighting animation.

I made this to go along with JoeD's PUP that I wanted to put on my full dmd screen.
I included Full DMD in the B2S, you will need to disable it to use along with the PUP.

    Rat Fink (Original 2025) b2s
THIS IS NOT FOR MY OLD RAT FINK TABLE!
JP recently recreated a Rat Fink table that was a reskin of a Brazilian machine in real life
after seeing this build, I noticed the BG was a print by artist Todd Schorr
I also used this print in 2015 for my Rat Fink table, so I knew I had a high-res version
so using the reskin version as a template... I built this version from scratch
super clean, high-res, high-detail, 3k image SS style GI lighting, blooms and feature lamps taito cab art on the dmd with on animation

Ren & Stimpy - Space Madness (Original) - Alt B2S with Full DMD

    By WaRcLaWz

I created this alternative DirectB2S backglass to go with the great Ren & Stimpy - Space Madness table created by @clairvius

It was originally created to work alongside the PUP Pack for the full DMD, but you can also use this as a standalone B2S if you want. It has an image in the full DMD if you go that route. This backglass is static and does not have any lighting animations, as I was not able to implement them properly with the PUP Pack in effect.

    Enjoy!

Ren & Stimpy Space Madness (Clairvius 2024) Animated B2S for 2 screens and 3 screens

    By marcobus2005

    Hi,

Here are 2 versions of animated B2S:

"Ren and Stimpy Space Madness.directb2s" wich can be use for 3 screens cabinet. In this case , copy files contained  in "pup.rar" in puppack (replace it) to get sound working.
"Ren and Stimpy Space Madness-2S.directb2s" wich can be use for 3 screens cabinet with pup on full dmd and 2 screens cabinet .
For 2 screens cabinet use pup as described before.
    Enjoy

Robots Invasion (Original) - Animated B2S with Full DMD

    By WaRcLaWz

I created this animated B2S to go with the very cool Robots Invasion table that was converted from Future Pinball for VPX by Unclewilly at VPForums.

You can get the table at VPForums.org here: https://www.vpforums.org/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=18390

This animated backglass and DMD combo supports 2-screen and 3-screen scenarios, plus I included two versions for DMD frame and without, depending upon your preference. The table has a DMD on the playfield, so some people will choose not to have another FlexDMD image on the DMD.

    Enjoy!

I really liked Unclewilly's vpx conversion (search it on VPF), so I made a fulldmd b2s version for it, which I now share with everyone.
It is static, so it has permanent lights. Since the dmd display takes up space on the apron, the fulldmd image is (for now) also a static image. Enjoy!

UPDATE: The table already works with flexdmd, so I made a new version for those who use it as well.

Greetings,  I have embedded a 10 minute Road Runner cartoon in the DMD of Wildman's Epic Backglass.  Thanks @Wildman for letting me use it.

The size the B2s file is now much larger, so it will take some time to load, around 14 seconds.
