Due to system limitations searching with words of 3 or less characters will not return results. For instance; Doctor Who. This will not return results as the system is trying to search for both Doctor AND Who in which Who will not be found as it's a 3 character word. To find Doctor Who; you'd search for either Doctor or "Doctor Who".
Search Tips:
For specific searches; enclose your search with quotes. Example: "Doctor Who" or "Addams Family".

This is an altsound in G-Sound format for Alien Star (Gottlieb 1984). I tried to tastefully do it without "overdoing it". Hopefully, you will enjoy. I feel like the game play sounds of targets, bumpers, and slings match the game and also some pretty dramatic endgame sounds that are pretty cool. @DarthVito said "I love the sfx you have when the ball loads up after a drain, very very cool. Almost don’t mind draining lol! " Hehe, I take that as a compliment and actually feel the same way. Cheers man! This has ended up being a culmination of original (pseudo stereo processed), replaced, and supplemented sounds that seem to go really good with this table. Please make sure you read the latest versions release notes nad update your VpinMame to a version that supports Gottlieb System 80A altsound processing. ***NOW FIXED*** see v4 release notes. Please note that some roms (like this one) appear to have a clocking pattern of sound calls that seem to get in the way of sound playback. You will probably experience some sounds not registering from time to time or even the background sounds not appearing at first, but them come in on the 2nd ball. 90% of the time it's all good though and some of the intermittent sounds missed aren't really that bad. I talked to @MrGrynch about this and hopefully one day there will be a modification to the altsound processing to drop these unnecessary calls. This rom in particular sends out a flood of calls to 0x000. When this happens, hopefully these sounds drops will stop. For now, this is what we have and I do hope you enjoy. Be on the lookout for @UnclePaulie's release of Alien Star and @hauntfreaks backglass. It's a fun table and where at all possible, I want to give @BorgDog much thanks for providing the graphic assets! This table would not have been possible if he didn't give permission to redo it and hand off his graphics like he did. Thank you kind sir! Here's a quick youtube video to demonstrate all the various sounds that are in this pack: -

All credit goes to the original author 32Assassin. Also to Bigus1 for his mod, and to hmueck for his mod to add the VR cabinet and room. Spy Hunter blends fast flow, controlled chaos, and a surprisingly smooth shooting layout into one of Bally’s most memorable early ’80s tables. Between the upper playfield, hidden ball lock, and constant mission-style callouts, it keeps you engaged without relying on gimmicks. Credits for this version: I added nFozzy and Fleep, fixed some layout issues and match gameplay to real table @r2z2helped with improving the feel of the physics @studly_do_right improved lighting for better VR experience, other visual enhancements, and identified and resolved missing sound effects @DGrimmReaper added VR backglass digits so VR no longer requires B2S for this table. Adjusted GI lights for VR. Make kicker visible in VR. There is an optional cheat rubber for the left outlane, configurable in the F12 menu. That left outlane is brutal, so this can help a little. This same rubber mod is also used on the real table. thanks @kellyf for the idea -

This was the last pin produced by Mylstar and production was continued by Premier. It is also the last game designed by Ed Krynski for Gottlieb/Mylstar. The models for the explorers on the backglass were two Gottlieb employees, Jeri Knighton and Jeff Lee (Gottlieb video game artist). Gottlieb 1984 - Aztec Jungle Theme This is a MOD of theGhost787 and 32assassins table. I'm not sure what it is about this table but it intrigued me when I first saw it. It is a slower table but it is challenging. Script is by 32assassin, and table start by theGhost787. I did a partial redraw of the play field just to line everything up a bit better. Enhanced the colors a bit. Also moved around the table elements and lights to match the play field and to make it play and look more like the videos online. If we could get a good play field and plastics scan this table would really come to life. I used what resources were available online (and there are not many). I have never played the real table but have watched some youtube videos. So physics are adjusted to match them the best I could. Enjoy, I know I have enjoyed modding it. If anyone has any high resolution resources for this table please let me know.- 10 comments
