  5. Rock Star (Gottlieb 1978) (VR Room)

    Description:
    ***************
The table is made by the great Jeff Whitehead (Loserman76).
May he rest in peace. :-( I hope, there are pinballs where you are, Jeff.
I would like to thank Jeff, for allowing me, to convert his tables to VR.

    Info
It is a hybrid table. So you can play in VR, desktop or cabinet mode, but you need the external backglass.
There is no need to change the script. A VR headset is automatically detected.

    I added the following things:
VR room, artwork for cabinet, backbox and flyer, animations for buttons and plungers, LUT files (change with magnasave buttons).

    '*        Table primary build/scripted by Loserman76
    '*        Table images by GNance
'*        VR update by Rajo Joey

Works in 10.7.2, but best to play in VPinball_GL 10.8: https://github.com/vpinball/vpinball/actions/workflows/vpinball.yml

    ***********************************************
These are quick conversions, as I don't like playing in complete darkness.
If you want to do your own conversions, I wrote two tutorials for EM tables like Loserman76's and make templates of the tables, pictures and materials.
Also there are some .psd files, to change the artwork in an easy way for example.
In the template tables there are generic artwork for the cabinet and the backbox. Some people may be happy with that and don't need the real artwork.
There is a short tutorial for people, who know the editor and a longer one for newbies. Both instructions are in English and German.

  11. Ready Aim Fire (Gottlieb 1983)

This is a VPX recreation of a 1983 Gottlieb Ready Aim Fire pinball machine. It needs the rom "raimfire
.zip" to run, you will have to find that yourself. Don't let the music drive you crazy.
Thanks to Tab and Destruk for the earlier version to work off of.
Thanks to Gaston for the emreel script correction.
Thanks to BorgDog for his awesome Gottlieb EM 42" Template table where I got most of the playfield parts,
Thanks to Rawd for the physics overhaul.
Thanks to Arngrim and Thalamus for injecting DOF and SSF into this table.

  15. Royal Flush (Gottlieb 1976)

re-up from a couple years back, no changes.

For those of you with more friends than I have, I did a quick conversion of my Card Whiz into the 4 player Royal Flush.  The table is identical, just changed the backdrop, put the score reels back in view (my base template is 4 player so scripted Card Whiz with this in mind) and built a new directb2s to go with it from images found online.

  16. Royal Guard (Gottlieb 1968)_Teisen_MOD

First I would like to thank Loserman76 for the beautiful work... wherever he is playing pinball!

small changes were made only aesthetically

small improvements in the playfield, plastics, lighting, flippers position...  I want to make it clear that the descriptions for the tables I'm sharing are "standard" for all, changes are made when there is a need for some adjustment.

version used, follow the link to the original table

    Adjustments made:

    - Playfield color correction and touch-ups
    - small improvement of plastics
    - color correction of playfield lights
    - cap bumpers colors corretion
    - lighting
    - metals
    - screws
    - new pov
    - flipper adjustments
    - target adjustments
    - other small touches

    Loserman Description:

    Royal Guard
    http://www.ipdb.org/...ine.cgi?id=2037
    Build/Coding by Loserman76
    Artwork by GNance

'*  hauntfreaks - newer postit note images, environment file, lighting information, primitives
'*  BorgDog - his tables that helped me to understand more with VPX - and I probably lifted a primitive or 2 from them as well
'*  GNance - score motor tweaks to behave like a real EM, PostIt routines, Options menu
    '*  JPSalas - gameroom backdrop
'*  Pinuck - Gottlieb chimes and score motor routines
'*  Arngrim - DOF coding and information
when game is not in progress, holding down left flipper for about 3-5 seconds will bring up the options menu. left flipper selects item, right flipper changes option
in addition to the "standard" keys (typically "1" to start game and "5" for coin), I've added "3" for coin and "4" for coin and auto-start game to simulate 3 coin slots
    Shadow config settings:
Look for these 2 lines near the beginning of the scripting:
    Const ShadowFlippersOn = true
    Const ShadowBallOn = true
change to false if you want either of the shadows not showing on your tables

  17. Roller Coaster Reverse (Gottlieb 1971)

Yes it is upside down and yes its supposed to be that way.  I was talking with Loserman76 last year about doing this and i never ended up getting around to it.  The other day i decided to sit down and start on it.  A while ago I saw a guy on the internet that flipped a pinball playfield around 180 degrees and made the game play backwards.  The table slopes down to the back of the machine and the ball drains towards the apron but everything is backwards.  He also rewired it so the game starts at 9,999 points and counts down, so the object of the game is to get to 0 in a set number of balls.  I wrote LM a message the other day asking him if he could adjust the scoring in the script, but sadly it was too late.
I thought it was a cool project in real life so i wanted to see how it was to actually play it in virtual.  I did the physical aspects of the table, just don't have the skills to script it.  If anyone would like to help out with this i would greatly appreciate it.  Thanks to Loserman76 for this table and all he has done for the community.  Thanks
