  3. Lost In Space (SEGA 1998) DrJones Comic-book Edition v1.0

I’m excited to share a fresh re-imagining of SEGAs Lost in Space that keeps the fast flow and multiball madness driven layout and rule set of the 1998 table intact, but completely transforming the presentation into a comic-book celebration of Irwin Allen’s original 1960s television series. Where the original Table leaned on murky 1990 film stills and off the shelf plastic toys, this version replaces them with hand drawn character art evoking the spirit of the original show. The Playfield and plastics have been redrawn illustrating the Robinson family as well as iconic “monsters or the week” I have also re-sculpted the original B9 Robot and Jupiter 2 to match the 1960 designs as well as added the original chariot. This finally gives this fast and fun John Bord table the theme treatment it always deserved. Enjoy the multiball mayhem!!!
As always, many thanks to all the authors on who’s shoulders we stand:
Thanks to Goldchicco, TAB, devaL, 32assassin and any and all involved in the creation of this Table.

  4. Lupine and Howling (Lunar Howl 3)

Following the creation of each of the first two albums there was additional roleplay touring those albums. This generated a bunch of additional materials including songs that never made it to either album. I've compiled a selection of those tracks to a "live" album. Thirteen new songs including the thankyou new year message from a couple if weeks ago

. A wide range of tracks on this. A couple the Aussies might relate to. One soft ballad about a weekend bbq at their nsw home wolf haven(wolf haven Sunday), one about skinny dipping in the creek at the back of the farm(Skinny dip serenade), and one about a roadtrip up the east coast from Batemans bay to Townsville (Lunar Howl on the Highway). I left a track off that was called Democracy Sausage but I'll probably stick it up somewhere. Also songs about standing up against the rise of fascism(Rise like thunder), the moment you stop running and stand your ground again at abuse(stand your ground), the exhaustion if dealing with seemingly endless extreme weather events(Eye of the quiet storm) and those who have your back when the chips fall (Fangs at my back), plus one the girls wrote when Spirit commented I didn't sound like myself and I replied I was tired, feeling the approach of three years fighting cancer. They responded with "Howl for you" which was a bit special.

The new album is attached here, as I did previously on Howl against the chains with the first two albums for you to enjoy. THe mp3s are not needed for the game as the oggs are embedded. However the mp3s have been popular with the previous releases so I included them again.

Some have asked for more details in the backstory for these girls, so here it is:

Spirit was born in Abilene, Texas in 2001. She fled an abusive home as a child and wandered all over the Continental US, surviving however she could, soon finding that she could earn meals from small taverns and the like by singing.

As a teen she found Shadow, who was living wild in the woods of Maine. They became like the sisters they had never had, and continued travelling together, eventually crossing onto Canada where they found Luna playing drums for meals and a bed in a small jazz club in montreal.

This is where Lunar Howl was born, but they knew the pack was incomplete. They combed message boards looking for the fourth member of the band, and found talk of a girl like themselves who had escaped from Yakuza in Japan. The three sold all their possessions and purchased tickets to Tokyo, where they found Sakura in a safe house.

From Japan, they travelled south, knowing none had found home as yet. They entered Australia, and fell in love with the country. They soon sought citizenship, and over several years the four of them achieved that goal, adopting Australia as their home.
They travelled the country performing, and honing their art.

It was in this phase that the original chatroom roleplay commenced, when their vehicle crashed on the boundary of the farm that then became their home, and was renamed Wolf Haven, the name of the first album from the first game.

Lunar howl now has a tiktok with videos containing the music (profile is anthiasgames2) and a website at lunarhowlmusic.wordpress.com

  5. Lunar Howl

    Lunar Howl by Anthias

Theme is a rock band I made up for a roleplay I ran recently between me and ai where ai chat bots ran all the other characters. It was an experiment thinking about how AI NPCs could feel. It was fun. The different characters engaged in conversation with myself and each other in a real, flowing manner. The scenario was I took the role of a lone man living on a remote farm when the band's tour bus crashes on my boundary, I rescue the unconcsious band members and threat their wounds. They are four anthropomorphic wolf girls: Spirit, tall slim and silver furred, Shadow, average height and black furred, Luna, short and petit and gray furred, and Sakura, average height and white with pink highlights. from there it was unscripted. As they recovered I joined the pack, my farm became their new home and was renamed Wolf Haven, to become a refuge for wolf people who were homeless. I built a studio in the barn and they recorded an album which became a success. I then joined them on their world tour of Australia, the USA the UK, Japan and Europe. The AI went crazy eventually, unable to keep up with who was who, having blown out to about twenty characters and it all fell apart. But that was nearly 6000 chat messages in.

Anyway I took a bunch of detail about the band and the songs it discussed including lyrics etc and used Suno to create their album, which is on this table.

  6. Lilo & Stitch (mod Skateball 1980)

Here's my very first mod, a mod of the Skateball table, created by the talented JPSalas, revisited in the colors of Lilo & Stitch !

This project was born of a simple desire to please my daughters, who are big fans of the Disney universe, and more particularly of the mischievous little Hawaiian girl and her funny alien companion.

I wanted to transform the atmosphere of the original table into a colorful trip to Hawaii, with music and images taken from the film, while retaining the excellent basic gameplay.

A mod made with love for my children, and now shared with you !

If you love the world of Lilo & Stitch, or if you're looking for a fun, family-friendly table, this mod is for you.

Thanks again to JPSalas for permission to modify the original table.

Inspired by the game Disney Lilo & Stitch Pinball

Have fun, and as Stitch would say: “Ohana means family.”

  8. Lawman (Gottlieb 1971) soundmod 4K

Based on the table Lawman (Gottlieb 1971) by Loserman76 I've come up with an upscaled version, as the existing releases look very pixelated on my hires cab.
The table was released by late Jeff "Loserman76" Whitehead. There were contributions my GNance and Popotte in it as well; not sure about the details. According to the release the permission to modify is given without need for approval, so there you go.

In my release, playfield, apron, plastics and several smaller files were upscaled and anti-aliased. In fact, similar changes were applied as in the 4 player version of this table that goes by the name "Sheriff".

I've prepared the file for the use with a yet-to-be-built pup-pack and I've added a music playback feature as well. The package I'm releasing doesn't contain any music though to stay out of legal troubles. Just put your favorite country music mp3 files into a subfolder named "Lawman" within your music folder (usually something like C:\vPinball\VisualPinball\Music\Lawman). To specify another folder, do so in the line
myMusicFolder = "Lawman" If the folder specified doesn't exist, there will be an error message. The folder can be empty though. It won't hurt to have this folder point to the same folder you specified for another table's music, e.g. to the folder you specified for the twin table "Sheriff".
To toggle between music and pup-pack playback, edit
usePUP   = false and set that to
usePUP   = true to enable a video juke box (coming from a pup-pack in C:\vPinball\PinUPSystem\PUPVideos\Lawman).

Right magnasave will play the next random track. Left magnasave will stop playback. Those controls are valid both for music as well as video playback.

Not sure if my release qualifies as a soundmod without any music files in it, so let's just call it an update, counting the version count up from 1.0.a to 1.1.0.

    Enjoy
