About This File

The table works in 10.7 but I recommend 10.8, especially for VR.

Choose whether or not to use the pup pack and minigame or VR. All options are at the top of the script.

I hope you all enjoy it. Lots of love and passion went into this project by a large group of talented friends.

What's New in Version 1.1

Released

To play with Scorbit you must be on the very latest 10.8 Beta 7 otherwise your QR code will not appear, and you should also update to the latest flex as it has been causing crashing on loading issues.

You can get the latest here: https://github.com/vbousquet/flexdmd/actions/runs/6836823342

With both those installed correctly Scorbit should function and the table will not crash.

Fixed a bug that crashed the table upon certain mission completions.

if you make changes to the table in script or POV and attempt to save the changes in 10.8 but haven't upgraded to the latest beta and updated to the latest Flex. the table will crash or be stuck in a forever loading.

You can however still make changes and save and play the table in 10.7 without using Scorbit.

Hopefully, these tips will help sort anyone who has had these issues, and this new update fixes everything. Thank you all for your patience.

WTF????  Is this really an original table?  This is just nuts, man you guys didn't just knock it out of the park, but out of this world!  Stern needs to be chasing you with a contract! THis is fast, it's really fun, lots of toys,  great music... Stop reading and download this table NOW!

I wish I could give the table like 14 stars.

First, I have been a Megadeth fan since 1988.  2nd, With the Pup pack and my MX LEDs on the sides of the playfield, I can't NOT crank this thing up loud and play it.

I have enjoyed this so much; the audio scoring and PUP are designed incredibly well; the verbal feedback and cues are dialed in perfectly right down to the 'did I do that ?' :) ha ha (nice touch, btw)...

This has to be at the top of the list for Music theme tables I can't believe this was an original creation. I can swear this would easily fit into any bowling alley in 1990 !

Great job on this! Theme feels perfect for pinball, and you've assembled an excellent team that did NOT let you down! Extremely solid table. Love the quality of the playfield mech animations, they are all jaw-droppingly smooth. And I am so grateful you got TastyWasps to do nfozzy/fleep code in the table, it's playing soooo freaking NICE as a result. Keep it up man!

I don't care what I score on this table, I just like looking at all of the cool stuff on the playfield in VR :)  Team Tuga did an excellent job on the pup pack too, thanks all.

I am not by any stretch of the imagination a death metal fan, but this table has so much going for it I've already placed it high on my list of favorites.

Playability and originality of layout really draws me into the game. I don't mind if tables have deep rule sets and complex instructions, but there's something really attractive about a logical playfield with plenty of visual quirks that invites a player to just dive in and have fun.

I was able to play my first game for nearly 1/2 hour, and that's not because it's easy -- there is a lot going on and lost balls can happen quickly if you're not paying attention.  No, it's the flow of movement and sensible goals that makes it possible to focus and keep the balls in play.

I will say that multiball taxes my PC somewhat, so some users may need to tweak the visuals on older systems. That's the price we pay when VPX authors are expanding the limits of the emulator.  It's worth it.

JoePicasso knows how to make a fun table! I've literally never listened to Megadeth before playing this table and probably won't outside of playing this. While playing the table though, it is great fun. Well done JoePicasso and team!

I'm not a huge Megadeth fan, but this is a fun experience that looks awesome in VR. If I had one complaint would be that it's too easy to switch modes so I end up leaving behind a song right when I'm really getting into it, but otherwise, I think that this is an amazing labor of love that will be well-received by the Megadeth faithful.

Great table, great music, great effects, great VR, great...
Did I say great?

I first saw Megadeth at Monsters of Rock in '92 together with Pantera, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath (RJD), Testament, Warrant. What a show!

Yes, now we're talking! I saw Megadeth live a few years back . Dave Mustaine complained a lot during that concert. I however have no complaints about this table. Playfield  is so beautifully crafted and has so much going on. Love the ramps. Hearing that bomb fall through the air as the ball runs down, never grows old. A literary explosive table that truly captures the spirit of Megadeth. The Rattlehead  hands by the flippers is such an excellent  touch. This has become my #1 music table.  The only surprise of this release is that It doesn't exist in the real world. Stern should make you rich @JoePicasso

Thank you for this immense collective work.

You are ALL insured!

I didn't know the group at all but the least we can say is that it's very rhythmic.

Congratulations to everyone and THANK YOU again for sharing!

Merci pour cet immense travail collectif.

Vous avez TOUS assurés !

Je ne connaissais pas du tout le groupe mais le moins que l'on puisse dire c'est que c'est très rythmé.

Félicitations à tous et encore MERCI pour le partage !

I grew up a Megadeth, Metallica, etc. etc. fan and this table does not disappoint.  It's amazing and brings back so many memories skateboarding to Megadeth songs back in the day.  This is a great addition to my VPIN and is always on right now rocking this table.  Bravo to Picasso, Salas, Team  Tuga, Hauntfreaks,  and the rest of the team who worked on this.  Amazing!!
