Mac Galaxy (Mac 1986) fulldmd

Here is a 3-screen backglass for the table "Mac's Galaxy (Mac 1986)" by mfuegemann. The backglass is based on the 2-screen version by mfuegemann und used with kind permission; thanks Michael!

I have upscaled the image for the backglass using AI and cleaned some artifacts caused by abuse and wear,  moved the actual score display from the grill to the full dmd. Since the quality of the available score display pictures was so bad I decided for a complete re-draw from scratch. Not sure if the green pattern was there on the score display of original machine or just came with Michael's backglass. On the rare videos and pictures of the actual machine, the green score display fill looks solid to me without a pattern, so I decided for that in my re-draw.

Maquinas Automaticas Computerizadas (or "Mac" for short) was a Spanish pinball company that created pinball machines conversion kits for the Spanish market. That market was separated for years from the rest of the world for political reasons. As a result, there were no international versions; all text was in Spanish, with only some English words like "tilt" or "high score" shining through, as they were so common place in the pinball world. That's why I have come up with two backglass versions to download: the original in Spanish ("ES") and a made-up version in English ("EN"). Both downloads come with an authentic and a fantasy mode, so in the end you have to decide between 4 versions😉.

The static backglasses from the era are a bit dull for my taste, so I created an authentic and a fantasy lighting mode; the authentic mode is based on how the backglass is lit on mfuegemann's version. The fantasy mode is more interactive based on the playfield action, with the stars in the background twinkling. Press "S" on the backglass screen to toggle between those two modes in the b2s menu. I strongly recommend to give the fantasy mode a try.
