Is it no longer possible to use pin2DMD = native (on DMDdevice.ini) with the new version ? Does it only work with true now?

No ! Like written in the first post only Serum vpin tables need true.

since i updated your dmd extension, pin2dmd = native, it doesn't work anymore in any table. Do you know what it can be caused by?

If you use libusb32 driver you need libusbk.dll in the same folder or change to winusb using zadig

Hi, Lucky...

pin2dmd EVO firm 4.50

your files from the first page updated

dmdDevice.ini
pin2dmd = true

all colorizations, working, but the pin2dmd media in PINUPPOPPER, stop working

dmdDevice.ini
pin2dmd = native

the pin2dmd media in PINUPPPOPPER, works again, but serum colorizations, don't work anymore

trying

[ss_15]
pin2dmd enabled = true

serum colorization don't work.

WHAT HAPPENED??

many thanx in advance.

Hello

First a big thank you for your work, I had everything working.
but after i change to 64bit from this guide https://github.com/vpinball/b2s-backglass/wiki/64bit-VPX-Pincab-Setup-Guide

However, without changing the dmd extensions

But now the Serum no longer works, though everything else does.

Have this log from DMDDeviveLog:

Thanks, you are right that it works with x86. I've just tested it, I also hope that x64 will.

Are you sure you have the serum64.dll in your folder.

that website scares me with no antivirus, do you just click on the download to the left?  my serum is not working either.   update, i installed the 2-017-22 c++ and still not working, i looked to see that i had all 64 and 86 versions i didnt have 2005.  installed that and still no crom working.  Is there something that needs to be added in the dmddevice.ini file.  I installed everything per the 64 bit tutorial, then installed the lucky1 and serum 32 and 64.  the ini file didnt change though

On this site https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170 , I used this one https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe . After install it started to work for me.
Before, everything worked for me with x64 (pac,vin) except the 2 serum color files (ss_15 and tron_174h). With x86 they worked fine, no color with x64 build. In the log I had the same error about not finding serum64.dll.

Thanks, that was just what was needed.
So now can confirm everything works.
It might be a good idea that this was described in the redme file.

Does the plugin folder in the zip file go into the vpinMAME folder? like this? VisualPinball\VPinMAME\plugin

and then the two sub folders?

Edit: Got it I had both MAME Dlls, put both folders into the MAME folder and it worked on the next startup on LOTR, though I cant costumize the DOT MAtrix, every time I bring up the menu it crashes, but its okay, I can still resize and save positions and it looks good enough.

The folders do not go in the VPinMAME Folder
