Hmmm... not sure why, but I'm getting yellow and red colors instead of what I was expecting. Using the latest version of everything.

Edit: Ah, seems the firmware on the Pin2DMD was out of date. AFM is working fine now, but now my Pin2DMD thinks it's not activated and the Pin2DMD.exe says the firmware is not supported. Hmmm.

Addendum: Got that too. Looks like I needed to upgrade the STM firmware. Seems everything is working nicely now.

Tell me scenes which didn't colorized.

I finally remember to get back to testing this, you mentioned them in your release post "Few scenes in total annihilation is not finished, but other scenes is ok"

The ones I noticed are the left orbit and the left ramp, they are mirrored versions of the right orbit and ramp animations, right is coloured, left is not.

I'll post a video when youtube finish processing my edits.

Only minor issue, but they do stand out next to all your other beautiful work on this one.

Thanks again,

Edit: Here is the video, skip to 9:40 for first Total Annihilation, it shows both missing animations. I didn't notice any others. I left the full length game for others to see how good this version is, if they don't already have it.

Thought I would give this a try along with the PUP pack that was just released for AFM but am having a few issues.  The posted videos look great.  I'm using a Virtual DMD so I'm assuming that is supported and that it isn't only a hardware DMD supported option.

I'm using the latest DMDExt, VPM, SAMBuild, VPX Beta.  Win10, x64.

Basically the colors are way off, every graphic is shaded in blue.  Removing the pin2dmd.vin file changes up the colors to be a little closer but still not that close and removing the file introduces some weird artifacts and flashing and the DMD seems to glitch a little bit with things cutting out and what not.

Does anyone have any thoughts on what to try?  I have successfully used other rom colorizations with no issue.  Thanks for any help anyone can provide.

Total annihilation looks great! One thing on real pin is the DCS Sound banner is grey but no big deal. Martians during Martian Attack are only green and white but that may be purposeful. I do notice the gradient on “GAME OVER” and some others the bottom 2 lines are so dark it looks clipped . But overall great job!

Normal Orientation for Monitor Set up in WindowsAlign the top of the Monitors
Not necessarily in the order of 1 2 3 – The monitor numbers in windows don’t mean anything when it comes to VP set up

Freezy & Color Rom setup

:yahoo: Freezy Setup
My experience is with Virtual DMD and Pin2dmd
Some troubleshooting help at the bottom of the post

Do not use the 64 bit Version — dmdext-v1.x.x-x64
Freezy files   dmdext-v1.x.x-x86.zip  -- https://github.com/freezy/dmd-extensions#features
Download the zip file
An out of this zip file I used – DmdDevice.dll and dmdext.exe – But you may also need the other files if you don’t have them (If your New To Freezy)
If UpDating make a copy of this file ---  DmdDevice.ini
The Files go in the VPinMame folder  ( Visual Pinball\VPinMame )
NOTE: When you make changes in The DMDdevice.INI File you must restart VP In order for the changes to take Effect

New options, Right click Menu and Always display Grip on hover.. (Really convenient for someone that has a 2 screen set up)

In your VPinMame folder run setup.exe change defaults and/or for games you have already run Use F1 during game to change the default for that game
Turn off Show DMD and Turn on external DMD
See image at the bottom of the post
Put this in your (DmdDevice.ini) file (If it's not already there) and set it to true or false depending on whether you want to use Alphanumeric features
enabled = false

Info on Alphanumeric features, Plus clicking on this at the top of the page for more info --->  dmd-extensions --> Make sure you Go through the Whole page

"Why do some colored roms require a patch and others just use the .vni & .pal files?"

To see what name the zip and the bin file should be – Go to your VPinMame Folder Run Setup, Click Test, Fine the Game then Click Check Rom
This is what I use for Patching Stern sam color rom --->    http://vpuniverse.com/forums/files/file/4808-vpu-color-rom-patcher/
Stern sam tables that need the Patch -->  https://www.giantbomb.com/stern-sam-board-system/3015-8231/games/
Another way to patch

If you change the name of the rom and use DOF..
You may have to go to the DOF website and Under table config find the game, Then change the rom to match the game..
