Phantom of the Opera (Data East 1990) Instruction Card

    By Frank_Enstein

Data East has been a bit neglected in my instruction card deck.
Here's a humble nod to their fine 90s era pinball offerings in a form of an instruction card.

I added a 4th screen to my cabinet for instruction cards and some of the default cards available in popper just did not cut the aesthetic so I designed new ones.
Hope someone else finds use for it too.

My lack of interest in football (soccer for ya Yankees) made me ignore this table for a loooong time, but once I looked past the theme I realized its a truly amazing table and certainly worthy of my 15 min photoshop time.

  16. More information about "Apron Images"

    Apron Images

    By 2huwman

I have recently installed an apron monitor and wanted to be able to display an image of the apron itself there, rather than just the instruction/information cards. I have started with the VPW tables as I play those most often. I'm using PinballX and have added these images to the Instruction Card folder, so that they show when you are selecting a game and continue to display when you are playing.

My apron monitor is 1680x342 so all these files are in that resolution.

All images were taken from the aprons of the newest VPW versions of these tables and are named accordingly. All credit to VPW and the original artists/manufacturers.

You can download each one individually, or the 7zip file has all 53. I'll being doing more, probably by manufacturer, so will upload them when they're ready.

Vector-based reproductions of the factory cards. Includes instruction card, a coin card, and a free play card. Type and layout used Acrobat, InDesign, and Illustrator. Export to Flash with Illustrator.
Not a full media pack. Capcom never put the table into production so no flyers. No production run as of yet from Circus Maximus. If there are new materials then I will update.
I'll point people to the fine wheel image from 32assassin, here:

Special thanks to Pinballmike217 for sharing images of his machine, production serial number 8. Thanks to Mitchell Curtis for sharing a video of the same machine on YouTube from which I took some screenshots.
Generic Capcom card included (same as the one included in the Big Bar Bar Media Pack).
Thanks, as always, to Inkochnito for the coin card. Most of it is his work. I just added the registered trademark symbol.

Thanks to TerryRed for a great table, I used his rules from the rules.txt to create these instruction cards.
I use Popper as my front end and added these the Info/Flyer.  You can upload all three cards and move between them using the flipper buttons.  You can also enable a hotkey to view these cards during gameplay.
