    Ok, so I will admit this one got away from me a little.  I read that the art for this machine was inspired by Alphaville, a 1965 sci-fi/mystery movie directed by Jean-Luc Godard, so I created a 15-second loading video homage to the movie based on the art from the machine's backglass and playfield.  Unfortunately, this version of the video doesn't work very well on my cabinet, because the game loads too fast. 
     
    The tone of the video is also a little weird and stilted for a pinball machine.  There's probably a reason that French New Wave Cinema didn't have a lasting impact on pinball machines.
     
    So I recommend that most people download the version marked "short" as it will probably fit the intended purpose better most of the time.  It maintains some of the rhythm of the longer version, but gets to the title screen quicker.
     
    The audio in the long version is extracted from a scene in the movie.  If you are interested in seeing the whole scene, search for "Alphaville - What is Love?" on YouTube.

    Cowboy Eight Ball 2 is the 4-player version of Cowboy Eight Ball, but uses some different music snippets.  Both games are copies of Eight Ball Deluxe.
     
    This video is made from the game's backglass, and the music is "Red River Valley" as recorded by Jo Ann Castle in 1964.  I believe "Red River Valley" is the melody that plays when the game starts, but I'm not 100% sure.

    This video is made from the game's backglass.  The music is "Il Faut Toujours Croire à la Chance" (roughly translated, "Always Believe in Luck") by Marie.  I know that in the real game the wheel doesn't spin like this, but it makes for a better sense of motion for the video, plus the spinning fits well with the crackle in the music - it feels like a record playing.

    This video is made from the game's logo and a few clips from the 1963 movie Cleopatra, which almost bankrupted 20th Century Fox, but has some spectacular sets and costumes.  The music "Cleopatra Enters Rome" is excerpted from the Cleopatra movie as well, but I used the album version in order to make better edits without the sound effects from the movie mixed in.

    This table seemed to be calling out for a "Bonnie and Clyde" reference, even if neither Bonnie nor Clyde were really city slickers and if much of their crime spree took place in rural America.  This video is made from the table's logo and a clip from the movie "Bonnie and Clyde" starring Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty.  The audio clip is also from the movie, although I did change the ordering of Bonnie's words to make the timing of the video work better.  The music is "Sing, Sing, Sing" by Benny Goodman and his Orchestra.

    "Conquest 200" and the related table "New World" appear to be Playmatic's attempt to cash in on commemorate the USA's bicentennial.
     
    This video is built from some elements of both tables' backglasses, given the differences layout differences due to one being a 1-player game and the other a 4-player game.  Taking bits from both made the editing job easier.
     
    Because the theme touches on westward expansion and exploration, I picked a western movie theme for the music - the beautiful main theme to "The Magnificent Seven" by Elmer Bernstein.

    This game is a one-off that originally was made for a movie.  It has since been wired up to play as an actual game, which I guess is what we have available to us now.  The backglass artwork is in pretty rough shape though, so instead of using it, I created my own "Cosmic Venus" using SDXL and prompting it to give me a woman wearing pink armor and drawn in the style of Frank Frazetta.
     
    The logo is from the game's backglass.  The music is a heavy metal cover of Shocking Blue's "Venus", performed by a group called Venus Mountains.
