another very hard to find resources for BG, so I used wildmans original image, did my normal PS workflow... in the end this is the best I could get it to look
decent, high-res, 3k image mirrored sections authentic-ish lighting, light mask, bulbs, bloom placement correct feature lamps placement cab art on the dmd if wanted

With the kind permission of @marty02 I've modified the backglass included with his awesome Mandrake table. I was having problems getting it to work in cabinet mode, so I:

Created a reel for credits
Set the dodge color for the players, ball in play, and match lights as they weren't appearing for me
Changed the font on the match, player and ball in play lights
Moved and resized the match lights

I found this almost decent pic at ipdb.org. It's a bit on the pixelated side but has lost of details of the beautiful artwork of Christian Marche. The .res and the frame pic are meant for a 1920x1080 display, but of course you can resize them to your heart's content.

I fount this decent quality pic at Pinside. The .res and the frame pic included are meant for a 1920*1080 display, but of course you can resize them to your heart's content. For the screenshot I'm using a 4X DMD.

so this is on my long list of terrible art on a BG and on the table as well... its like they let a 5yr old do the art for this machine
it also had almost no resources... so this was made from whatever I could find... as well as some redrawing

I found this cool pic on the Internet with a decent quality, nice colors and the right aspect ratio. The .res file and the side art pic are meant for a 1920x1080 display but of course you can resize them to your heart's content. No DMD, no grill. For the screenshot I'm using a 4X DMD.

I found this decent pic with nice colors and the correct aspect ratio on the Internet. I took some "artistic liberties" with the font for the Match and Ball in Play numbers to make them look bigger/cooler. The cabinet art is a bit beaten but it only adds character 😅

The .res file is meant for a 1920x1080 display.

I did a few redraws and color corrections to the image
also made the image proportionally authentic (that's all about how you have your res file setup)
clean, high-res, high-detail, 3k image accurate GI bulb and bloom placement add 455 bulbs behind the logo (animated) correct feature lamps and fonts custom reels for this era Gottlieb cab art on the dmd (my first hand drawn vector cab art in adobe fresco) (if wanted)
