Thanks, will see if that fixes the issue if I see it again. Ended up restoring the table from my original backup and it works from that, seems if I just save the table that is where I get the issue. 

Next question with this one. I have a full 7.1 SSF setup and I have done all the correct setup procedures (Setup in Windows as 7.1 without center channel, disabled all other interfaces, set correct 7.1 option for both audio and music in VPX) but the music for this table will always come out my cabinets front SSF and not from the backbox. I have 2 out of 150 tables that have this issue, this one being one of them. 

Any suggestions?

I have a strange problem regarding my playfield monitor (4K HDR 240hz 43"), sometime when i shoot the ball into the underworld (under middle ramp) my monitor loses its signal, basically a blackout for a few seconds and then comes back on.

 

Any ideas?

NICE TABLE!

 

But i have a little problem here,

 

I make HiScores (3rd and 4th ranks) in the 'Iron Maiden (Original 2022) VPW 1.0.12.vpx' table, I enter my Initials an then they dont show up in the high score list. Any fix for this?

I can't imagine the work that is involved in making a table like that, WOW !

I noticed a bug in the NOTB mode, while in NOTB the normal modes can be started, also when NOTB starts I don't have the NOTB song

 playing, and the NOTB mode is started from the orbits like the pro version, but on a premium it should be started from the underworld.

Here's a video for reference, the NOTB mode starts at around 20 min.

Hi Guys,

Can I please get some advice for the best way to configure the IM Pup-Pack for  a 3 screen setup? My 3rd screen for the dmd is only a slimDMD style and not full.  Which screen option should I choose in the Pup batch file?

Use the 2-screen configuration (FullDMD over a backglass frame) - the FullDMD will look AWFUL on a slimDMD style.

Hi, I am having some trouble with the PUP pack for this table:

 

consistently on the first launch (after reboot the computer) the Pinup Player gets stuck with a black screen, while the table works normal. Then if I quit the table there is an unresponsive pinup player zombie process, which I kill using task manager. Then 2nd time I launch the table pinup player comes up as expected and everything works fine.

Has anyone seen similar issue ? Or knows what could be the cause ? Any Idea how to debug the Pinup player startup process ?

I did as you said and it worked ok.  However when I was messing around I set it to 3 screen and it still looks great on my slimDMD.

I don't know how many scenes it will look great on that with, but if it does, go with it.

Well I followed the directions but the mode music maker says no way Jose! I have everything named correctly and where it's supposed to be but it says it's not, very frustrating

anyone have the animated gif file?  seems link is dead 😟

First of all this is a great table. From what i read and saw on Youtube it should play close to the real table.
I do have a little thing, with the music. I do have the .mp3's in the right folder and everything will play in the beginning when you are choosing your music. 
It's just when you spell Eddie and hit the Underworld, then a battle mode begins.
The music just dies on me, only the FX and the callouts are playing, but no more music track.
Except for the Mariner, that one still plays for some reason, the other music tracks won't play, just the FX sound is there.
When you lose the ball, then the music you already chose comes back.
The new ball loads then the track you choose with a new ball comes back too.
I didn't change the script that much, only the 8BIT music turn off thing.

Is this something weird? Maybe it's some update with W11 or the VPX 10.8? my front-end is PinUp Popper v1.5.0 the VpinMame i use is v3.6.0.929

The table is amazing! However, I get microlag every few seconds after playing for 2-3 minutes...64 bit version of 10.8. My computer is fast enough. Any idea? One screen, desktop mode, 1920x1080.

Awesome table!

 

I'm just now getting around to adding some original tables. I do not use exact name in the B2S setup. Normally, this is not an issue because I can select the appropriate backglass in B2S settings if the game selects the wrong one (like the many Batman and Star Trek versions). In this case, I already have a table called Iron Maiden, and this VPW original keeps loading the existing backglass in front of the PupPack. How can I completely disable calling B2S on this game without turning on exact match in the B2S settings?

Hi great table but I seem to be having a font issue on mu 4k desktop display especially were the jackpot is shown. Is there a way to decrease the font size to fit properly? Much appreciated for any help.

Very nice, just got this updated version after upgrading all my software and breaking pretty much every table. Finally got everything and all tables working again, but getting this updated version and just going through the process again everything for Iron Maiden is working now. 

 

Question though, I'm getting quite a bit of lag with the table. Not game breaking, but there is a stutter that happens quite frequently. I understand this is video pinball, so might not be perfect, but my other tables don't experience this. I have decent hardware on the cab and everything including Pinball M games, which are resource hogs, play very well. Any ideas?

Hi there,

 

This table have serious issues, and no maintenance by VPW since March 2023 (same fact concerning Total Nuclear Annihilation w. PuP-Pack).

 

Another Pup-Pack issue I've found (I don't know if already reported or not, but I'm too lazy to browse all 6-pages here, in Support).

 

When you beat any high score, and you enter your initials, then during MATCH numbers, the score area remains empty (show by screen capture). I don't know if I'm alone to have this issue, or everybody. I precise : don't occur if no high score initials entry at the end of game.

@DomiKamu So i tried what you suggested by making the backglass screen through pinup systems a true 16/9 resolution with no luck. I get the same anomaly where the font size is simply too big. Not sure how to address the font size.

@Sandro Hi (it's better to begin a message IMO 😉) - Is it possible to post a screen capture? (TIA) - except if you're using a pincab.

 

Are you using a pincab (with multiple screens), or Desktop mode (e.g. on your regular PC, like me).

 

I can help you if you're using Full HD resolution (1920x1080), Desktop mode. Perhaps better via private message (in order to avoid to flood this "forum"). Otherwise :

 

1/ From PinUPSystem folder, keep preciously the PinUpPlayer.ini file (do a backup first, very important). This file contains informations about how your screens are configured!

 

2/ Run PinUpPackEditor.exe (same folder).

 

3/ Load IM_LOTB PuP-Pack (select it from droplist, then click Load PuP-Pack button).

 

4/ From here, you can move/redim any screen by clicking Configure Displays/Locations button. Use max. dimensions for playfield, for other screens be sure the ratio is 16/9 (use a calculator, divide Width by 1.777 to get right Height).

 

5/ When finished, for each screen, click Save Settings button (don't forget), then proceed the next screen (from the list).

 

6/ When finished (all screens), click Save PuP-Pack button, then close the editor.

 

7/ Copy the PinUpPlayer.ini file to PinUPSystem\PUPVideos\IM_LOTB and try again.

 

Hope this will help.

 

Except playfield (1920 x 1080) other screens are set to 624 x 351.

For personal usage only, I've made many bugfixes (script + PuP-Pack sequencing), as simple example, if you do any kind of Skillshot, during the remaining of the current ball, the BALL x CREDITS y callout (top of PupPack) isn't displayed. In my version (1.0.15 today), this bug is fixed. Same for multiple players, the current player "box" is empty, instead of Player 1 / Player 2... Same fact during MATCH feature at end of game : current player score isn't displayed (brown box is empty), it's not realistic. Many things I've fixed (script only, plus 4 added timers). Now I've re-written from scratch, the Service menu logic (simplified/merged ADJustments, using AUDits and UTILities to clear/reset some parts or all settings), greyed icons can't be selected, now Battle Mode lamps may be set as white (default) or coloured via a specific ADJustment, and so on...

In the VPW's 10.0.12, many things are never implemented (such some kinds of "stats High Scores"), of course this table is a jewel, nice graphics, excellent physic, no critical bugs except the BATTLE lamps who advance on any keypress including nudges (too funny) instead of lower spinner. But this table stays... unfinished. Despite the script is very huge (because this table doesn't have PinMAME's ROM), the script itself is just hideous, very difficult to read, don't fit the "VPW standards".

 

No way to contact VPW member (from official web), no way to proposal my (important) stuff (table script). No permission for update. Too bad, I kee my stuff (and I share it with two friends), that's all.
